Sir,
Dell appointed service provider M/s ASDL, Name: Mr. Dinesh V, Engineer Technical ( ID 6622) came to install the Dell computer system on[protected], based on the purchase order dated[protected] for a total value of Rs 76501/-. As the size of the mini tower chasis as per quotation (14.48” X 6.69”X 17.08”) is not supplied, remarks were made in the space provided for customer remarks in the Dell service customer Acceptance form dated[protected]. After several rounds of assurances from Mr. Priyadarshi to rectify the supply made, nothing has happened so far. The size of the cabinet chasis is very crucial specification of our quotation because, the computer system is purchased to plug the standard sized PCI –II card from M/s Physical Acoustics (USA), which is being used for our R & D work of Ministry of Defence, Govt. India. Even I have made visit to Dell office in Bangalore on[protected] to show the size of PCI – II card for rectification.
Even after several rounds of assurances over phone from Mr. Priyadarshi, Official of Dell to rectify the supply made, nothing has happened till today. Mr. Bojaraju, another official who is taking care of the situation and expecting results from him.
I hereby request somebody from Dell (India) Pvt. Ltd. to look into the matter and rectify the supply made as it is already one year old.

    I bought one dell xcd35(IMEI [protected]) dated 08/05/12.After some 2 months it's microphone started malfunctioning and because of no time i went to the service center(Digicomp Complete Solutions) at the end of the month dated 30/08/3012(only 3 months used).

    The service tag is 3TTVBQ1. They told it will take at least 45 days to replace and said we will call you when stock will come.But they didn't. I called them every week to confirm that the stock has came but they told stock will come next Monday. Today is November[protected]Almost 80 days) and i called them and now also they are saying stock is not there ,it will come next Monday. I would want to know whats happening .Are the Service center people lying or Dell Money Suckers .When i call the customer care, they give me a different customer care number or email-id.They don't clear the matter at the same time.

    I mailed twice and at the last one of dell mailed back saying that it will take 20-25 days more(Case/Reference/DPS Number: 8233408).Am I fool to wait for that time period. I thought dell is a respected company but it isn't. Are you people waiting to end the warranty period so that you don't have to provide the mobile.Or you it's India so you can do anything .

    Either your give me fresh piece with full warranty or refund the double amount for the time your people wasted fooling around and keeping me tension.

      Order Acknowledgment form DELL INDIA.
      The quotation, order acknlodgment and mail copy sent by your team is attached.

      Basing on the order the payment was made for Rs 15000.48 on 19th Nov 2012. Till date no solution is received.

      Service tag code: FM9KZM1

      The warranty end date in the order/quote is 19 Nov 2014. But in website it shows 19-Nov- 2013.


      Payment is made on 19th Nov 2012 for replacement of hard drive till date I have not received the replacement hard drive.

      This one of the worst service received.

      Every time I call the customer service , executive says it will be resolved within 2 days. Till date not received any solution

        Hello Receiver,

        My Name is Sandeep Agarwal. I purchased a DELL Laptop INSPIRON N5110(Service Tag No. 74RDJR1) from shop name Laptop world 105, Bajaj House-97, Nehru Place, New Delhi-110019

        Showroom Manager/Owner Shive Murti gave Indian bill sales tax no (TIN No) [protected] with one year on site DELL warranty

        Due to some technical issue, laptop stopped to work in warranty period and I made a call on Dell customer care but they denied to support since laptop is registered in Thailand and it will require to present genuine bill generated at Hong Kong (Thailand).

        As per customer care statement, bill given by Dealer (Shive Murti) is not a genuine bill.

        I called to shive murti(Dealer) and shocked from answer by stating that Laptop business has been stopped by him. But when I reached at shop it has been found that Shop Name has been changed and it is running by same person with other name Digital solutions.

        I requested him to provide solution of the problem but did not get satisfactory answer from his side.
        I am providing details of Mobile No Mr. Shive Murti (Mb No. [protected])

        Complain has also been registered by “Jai Singh” against this person as
        on 29th July 2012 with same problem.

        Requesting you to consider our request and take action against TIN No- [protected] & Shive Murti. So that this person could stop to make fool to people in future.

          Dear Sir
          I am totally disappointed with Dell and its services. It has been more than a week i have lodged my complain and till date my laptop is in the same state and no action has been taken. Now also, they are asking me for few more days to deliver the parts and provide me services. What about Dell's claim of providing next day technical support at doorstep.
          I paid INR 9000 to get warranty and this is the kind of support I get.
          In the past, the technician who provided me services broke my laptop lock, and did not even have the technical expertise to open/close the laptop. He tried to charge me money under the table and this is the kind of honesty dell employee displays. At Dell service station, I get my system OS loaded which is pirated(Pirated windows 7). What is Dell up to? Are they trying to just get money by providing poor quality parts so that they they can earn money via services? Is this there strategy in India?
          Dell a week back delivered a mother board which was not working? This is what Dell supplies when they provides services? NON WORKING PARTS..

          I want my money to be refunded and also compensation for all the time and energy I have wasted. Dell has harassed me enough.

          DELL — Substandard Systems!

          I spoke to a rep in technical support --Delhi --(Destop, Inspiron, Tag: 2B144BS) by the name of Indu Chauhan who released the call from her end while talking to me. I called up immediatley on the number[protected] at 18:02 to realize that it was past working hours.That is when I realized why the agent had a very hostile and intimidating tone. She was clearly irritated about taking a call which came at the end of her shift.

          I had made the call at around 17:55 she released the call at around 18:02 hours while I was rebooting the system as per her instructions.


          I had called today (Thursday, 07 January 2010) for assitance on a Dell Inspiron that I had bought a few months before. The system tag is: 2B144BS. The system's fan makes a lot of noise, to the extent that I dont feel like working on this system anymore. I regret the fact that I bought a Dell, I regret it deeply.

          A brief summary:

          My friend and I bought the same computers (Dell Inspirons Tag No: 2BI44BS & 58344BS) at the same time. Both o[censored]s had problems with the sound recorder, it was not capturing any input from the microphone, which was diagnosed as a problem with the sound card. Sine the soundcard is integrated to the motherboard in this model, the motherboard was replaced for both the systems.

          My computer can capture voice now, but only when I speak into the microphone with a loud voice. My friends computer continues to have the same problem despite the motherboard being replaced.

          If one system was bad we would have know that it could have been an error. Here, we have a pattern. It looks like Dell has something about manufacturing substandard systems without proper Quality Check for Asian Markets.

          I dont expect anything from Dell because I have lost trust in this company. The least that I can do is passionately and aggresively speak to people, within my circle of influence, inorder to deter them from purchasing these computers anymore.

          DELL — Poor Experience with Dell

          I had booked two Dell Inspiron machines 580 on 22nd May 2010 and the entire payment was made instantly. I was promised delivery of both systems in 7-10 days. The system was not delivered till 5th June 2010 and when it was delivered it turned out to be nightmare as the brand new Dell factory sealed system did not worked for a moment.

          Dell offered me to change the parts and only upon my refusal the Dell agreed to replace the system. The systemwas collected and till date i.e 28th June 2010 i.e 36 days have passed In have not received the system except the false promises from Dell.

          As regards another system I had cancelled the order for both the systems but it was brought to my office on 10th June 2010 and on the assurances of Dell I accepted the same.

          The installation person refuses to give any detail except installation of the system.
          I will definitely take the matter to consumer court for definceincy of service and also for substandard product.


          Never take Dell products.

          I got really frustrated by the poor services and manufacturing of the product I got from the Company Dell. On 20th April, 2011 my laptop's motherboard has been replaced with the new one alongwith 4 other parts, and I got the faulty motherboard and now they are saying that they are going to replace the motherboard again. I bought the laptop in february last year and now only one year has been passed and almost every part of laptop has been replaced atleast once, only motherboard has been replaced 5 times. This is really very-very bad manufacturing and is really not acceptable from such a big and esteemed company. So, I hope that I will get some help from here and I will feel that the money I spent is worth.

            Hi,

            I am sorry if am too rude in this matter. I bought a laptop last December and i5 laptop with windows 7 home basic os and my service tag is dddrq1. It had an issue of overheating and showing blue screen error regarding the heating. Soon i consulted a Dell Service center and said the issue and they asked me to leave the laptop there and also asked me backup my data. Remember that my laptop is on warranty and guaranteeing. They re-installed the os and said that the issue is fixed, there was dust in the fan vent and that was the reason. I accepted it and returned home with laptop after 15days, but the same issue happened the same night. Again i returned back to the same service center and said about the issue again. Second time they said the issue was due to RAM and they have replaced RAM. But they refused to give any bill which showed and proved the change. Am very much sad to say that still now am having this issue. What should i do?

            Am a working professional and i need the laptop each and every moment. Keeping back my work and data i have been giving the laptop to service center and this cant fix my issue. Is there no value for the money i paid to purchase the laptop. Also i have to travel from my city to the next city to give and get back my property.

            Please i need an end to this, Hoping to get a response soon.

            Dell Computers — Blue Screen Error

            I had purchased dell computer studio 15, few months back. within one month, I started receiving blue creen error, some times their in build softeare dell media player starts automaticaaly.

            I lodge a complaint to Dell customer service, they asked to run the diuagnostic program, it passed. So they declared that the all hardware is ok and there is problem with soft ware, they suggested to reinstalled all the softeare, they suggested to change my anti virus program.

            I did all, but the problems continued. I again contacted, they dvice me the same, But did the same again, but still problem contunies, Eventually I shouted at them and eventually they replaced my mother board.

            After one month problem once again statred, they repeated the same solution, i followed, but the problem contunied (Blue Scree Error). I demended to replace my laptop, but they did not agree, I threatened to go legal and eventually they replaced my hard disc and ram,

            Now with the repalcement of Mother board, hard disc and ram, practically computer got changed as compared to what they had supplied as these are the critical parts of any laptop.

            Now within three week, again I encountered the same problem, I contacted them with the details, they repeated the same record, that the computer is fine, there seem to be some problem with operating system. i argured that if the problem is with the operating system, they are only responsible, as the same was a part of the product specification. They also made me run their disgnistic program, which passed, They cliamed that as it passed, computer is ok.

            I argured that I doubt the authenticity of that inbuilt diagnostics program, as it is in house diagnostics program without any validation certificate and one can not sure (except dell people) that it is follproof.

            Now my problem is continuing, they do not have any reply but the same old arguments as described above.

            What legal action can be initiated against dell

            My service Tag is dddrwq1. I had the blue screen error right now. Just after half an hour i switched it on.
            Thank God, Dell Team responded from [protected] and asked me to be here with a comment. And am waiting here for the last 25min hoping out of hope. The number is that of a machine but had the option for manual operation, but was of no use. Please give me an answer dear.
            As per your post what I understand is getting BSOD.


            Blue Screen of Death (BSOD)is the popularized name for what is technically called a STOP message or STOP error. It's the blue, full screen error that often displays after a serious system crash. and the computer almost always freezes and requires rebooting.
            .
            Microsoft windows detects the threats of the system & also shows the error which also shows the error


            Whenever you start the pc you might get the window with BSOD error but due to system restart we can’t note down the error, in that case we need to
            1. Shut down the pc & start the pc again & start tapping f8
            2. Select the last option automatic restart
            3. Disable the automatic restart
            4. Start your system normally & check the BSOD error
            5. You will get the error on left hand side which starts with 0x00000*******

            I would really appreciate you if follow the provided steps and you will get the BSOD error so that we can diagnose the problem & proceed further to fix this issue ASAP.

            Follow the instructions below to run hardware diagnostics
            1. Press F12 on the dell logo while powering on the system.
            2. Complete all the diagnostics and make a note of error codes if any

            I have tried this driver and can find no errors detected. Please advice on to the next step.
            Yes the blue screen error strikes again.
            As you sent me the attachment regarding the stop error code .
            This might be an issue if the paging file is not setup properly on the computer, follow the steps below to setup the paging file:

            1. Right click on Computer.

            2. Click on Properties.

            3. Click on Advanced System Settings.

            4. Click on settings in Performance under Advanced Tab.

            5. Click on Advanced Tab in Performance Options Window.

            6. Click on Change.

            7. Uncheck “automatically manage Paging File size for all drives”.

            8. Select C:/drive.

            9. Select “System Managed Size”.

            10. Click Set.

            11. Click OK.

            12. Now restart the computer when it prompts for a restart.

            If the issue still persists, then you may try Memory test, follow the steps below:

            1. Click Start.

            2. Type in Windows Memory Diagnostic in Start Search.

            3. Click on Restart now and check for problems.

            This will fix any memory related issues on the computer, make sure save all the files before you perform this test.

            I have completed the tests posted and can't find any memory related issues. But the cpu is showing about 50% usage with no custom programs running. What's up next...
            As we took the remote access & we changed some internal settings
            did disk cleanup
            changed the selecive startup options, we also told you that system is perfectly working good.

            Thanks all. I am very much disappointed with final gesture by the staff. The staff finally came to the point that the system is just perfect. Mind you i have tested the system in all possible ways other than the troubleshooting methods and i can prove it. A simple example is a game configured to run in windows with min req Core2duo and 512Mb Ram is hanging in an i5 machine with 4Gb Ram. Is this system perfect. The same was working fine when i bought it new. I have no more explanations to make and no more clarifications.

            Hi Nitika,

            Sorry if am a real burden. After changing the motherbord and other accessories, am still facing many issues such as my lap is very much over heating, Graphics card not working and very very poor performance. Even the rating has come down from 5.3 to 4.8. Also am not even able to see a HD movie, it gets hung. Having issues with keypad, that its generating sounds and hanging when a keep is kept pressed when gaming etc.

            Can you please look into it and advice what i should do now.

            Its quite a disappointing fact that you people are replacing a fresh piece motherboard with a dead one as replacement. The system was thrown from a medium performance to very low performance by the technicians. Before i was able to watch a movie properly for 30 min in a stretch which is now reduced to 5 min. Remember i made my first posting here in November 6 and its almost 1 month. Before i had consulted Dell service centers twice and again 2 months. Finally my laptop is not working for the last three months of my 1 year warranty. I am not sure if this is happening to every body or just me. What am i supposed to do?

            I can't wait anymore than this? Its very much disgusting and intolerable.

              after 1 year warranty completed my dell laptop is continuously creating hardware problems. within 2 months hard disk failed i bought a new one, then cd Rom, then again hard disk failed, and now finally motherboard failed. when shows to dell service centre they are asking for 16000 for motherboard and warranty.
              i bought dell laptop with the trust that it is best in customer satisfaction, but i lost my trust and i am facing sever issues as i am in development industry and suffered a loss of availability of laptop and my data when it was in urgent need.

                i purchased a dell laptop 9-10 months ago model no.-1440.
                speakers of this laptop damaged during warranty period and now they are refusing to replace these.
                and changing their statement day by day.
                first day they says- it occurred due to use of VLC PLAYER. but i was not founded using this player by him.
                next time they say it occurred due to uninstallation of driver,next time- due to using flv player

                ans a dell customer care agent says that we conduct a servy on speaker damaged problem about 3 month ago. and found the main reason - using high volume VLC PLAYER.
                but they not informed any old or new customer by any media about this
                pls help me

                  I am writing to inform you that the Laptops we purchased from your company (DELL ) are not in working condition now.
                  On 30 March 2011 we purchased three (3) laptops. Four days before my technical person traces a problem of BIOS in the dell laptops. We upgraded the BIOS as per the instructions from your technical team through toll free number, still problem is same .Error is ‘ POStT MESSAGE not responding ME’

                    sir i purchased dell inspiron n5110 laptop last year and my laptop speakers are not working .i am able to listen with hear phones but not with the speakers.

                    As you mentioned that you are able to hear the sound with headphones so we need to run some hardware test to check whether we are able to hear the sound while running the tests.
                    I would really appreciate you if follow the provided steps so that we can diagnose the problem & proceed further to fix this issue ASAP.Also while performing the below test please observe whether you are getting any sound when you get the color bar lines on which you have to press Y to continue the memory test .

                    Follow the instructions below to run hardware diagnostics
                    1. Press F12 on the dell logo while powering on the system.
                    2. Complete all the diagnostics and make a note of error codes if any


                    I would appreciate you if you can uninstall& reinstall the audio drivers & check if it’s working and also check if getting any Red Cross mark on sound icon

                    If possible please provide me your system service tag so that I can check your order details and give you the correct driver & some settings which needs to be changed. Please check if you got the drivers & utilities cd with your computer.

                    And you can find the service tag

                        Its been 29 days and till now I have not received any reply from Dell people .

                        Everytime , I am calling the customer care , they are saying that my concerned representative will call me , but there has been no call received .

                        The customer care people are lying and keeping me in dark saying that I will receive the credit note by tomorrow , but there tomorrow never comes. This is continuing for past 15 days.

                        The Customer Care has a very reluctant attitude and are making no communication with me regarding the same.

                          my laptop is under 1 year complete cover warranty of laptop . 5 days ago i formatted my laptop and since then the internal speakers of my laptop are not working . on contacting the customer care representative , i was asked which all media players i have on laptop. since vlc is one of them i was told that the speakers have gone nonfunctional because of the vlc media player and the company will not replace the speakers . i asked them to at least send a representative to ascertain the cause of the malfunction rather than completely blaming it on something else. i was denied and told that the company will not entertain any further argument on this regards.
                          if the company can not even send someone to ascertain the cause of any problem of its product on warranty , them why am i paying the amount for warranty.

                              I have purchased Dell make laptop in Durgapur, West Bengal . The system started giving trouble and I have lodged complaint at Hyderabad where I was staying at the time of it’s failure. I have given a clear written instruction for the delivery of the ‘to be replaced system’ at my New Delhi address vide my Email message dated 8th october 2012. Inspite of my written instruction, the system was dispatched to Hyderabad where I am not residing anymore. Upon contacting Dell at Delhi during the period of 15th to 17th October’12, I was repeatedly assured that the system will be delivered by 20th positively at Delhi address. However, till date, the system is not delivered and upon enquiring, it is still lying at Hyderabad’s Bluedart office.
                              Both Dell and Bluedart are every time confirming that in two / three days time the system will be delivered; however, just now got the information that the system will be dispatched by road which means it shall take many more days for delivering the same at my Delhi address.
                              I am very sorry to say that no one at Dell takes responsibility in taking prompt action as our only means of communication is through phones and persons attending to the calls are totally reckless or may be that their communications with further staff are falling in deaf ears.
                              I am appearing for important exams and every day is valuable for me and for last one month fed up talking to Dell. I don’t know when I will get my system and I am facing irreparable loss of time prior to my competitive exams.

                                    Callers i.e. Family members, customers and office peers are and have not been able to reach me at the hour of there need.



                                    Though I have changed SIM card, it gives problem with this handset but not with any other handset. I have tried this time and again.



                                    My request to you is to resolve this issue once in for all as it is over due.

                                    Alternatively, please take back this instrument and either replace with an instrument that works or make a refund.

                                        This letter is to let u know about the UNSATISIFED DELL customer who was never able to use his XPS because it always Had problems.
                                        Till Date in a years’ time there have been 8 Part Replacements and the laptop could not be trusted for further use because it kept on having problems
                                        I would like to list out the Problems
                                        1. The Hard Disk Crashed - The Hard Disk was Changed But System didn’t come on
                                        2. The Mother board had a Problem - The Mother Board was changed but the Laptop was heating up
                                        3. The HDMI Stopped Working – The Daughter board was changed but the heating problem prevailed
                                        4. The 2nd Mother board was changed and then the Heat sink was also changed – I was assured by the Technician that the Heat problem will be resolved.
                                        5. The heat problem still prevailed and the Palm rest stopped working – The palm rest was changed
                                        6. The speakers stopped working – The speakers were changed,
                                        7. Now I am facing the same problem all around again. The XPS doesn’t start at all and it says there is a Boot Problem and it asks for a Windows Repair. When I try to repair it doesn’t repair and it suggest that the windows must be re-installed. I had spoken to the customer care regarding the problem and they suggested a Reinstall of the OS with formatting of all the drives and partitions. I tried reinstalling the OS 3 times continuously but it was unsuccessful. I turned off the laptop and after a few hours tried again and the OS installed but now again I am having the same problem. Sometimes it starts and sometime it shows the boot problem.

                                        I had spoken to the customer care again and they told me that DELL will not help me as the system is out of warranty. 1st thing is that u guys dragged on the case by changing one part after the other and now finally u tell me that it is out of warranty.
                                        WITH SO MANY REPLACEMENTS AND ME FACING THE SAME PROBLEM AGAIN WHAT DO U THINK THE PROBLEM MIGHT BE – I AM SURE THAT IN THE MIDST O[censored] MAKING SO MANY LAPTOPS THERE CAN BE ONE LAPTOP WHICH COULD BE DEFESTIVE AND I THINK ITS DELL’S RESPONSIBILLITY TO REPALCE THE DEFECTIVE LAPTOP
                                        So I would like for u to know that this is the last and final time that I use a dell product and I would suggest all to stop using the laptops as it is the worst product EVER
