    Dear Sir,
I had given mine XPS L 502X laptop for service due to its short battery life of near about 1 hour with the nine cell battery and the headset jack showing inactive always. The overall system is delivering very poor performance; hence I asked the concerned person to check the following issues on urgent basis and asked them to reinstall the operating system.

( MOTHER BOARD ,Bluetooth, hard disk partition, MS office, head set port and battery backup and other software details.)

The concerned person MR. Madhavan, dell authorized service centre, NM-15, Ist floor, old DLF colony, sector -14, gurgaon-122002, accepted all the above mentioned issues.
After one week, I received call from the service centre saying that all the problems had been sorted out. On[protected], I visited to get back the laptop. I observed the problem is still there with the headset port and all other issues have not been sorted yet. When I try to convey this message, they are not listening at all. Here with am attaching the service check list. The Engineer assigned simply handover the laptop without proper updation.
Please help me to service my laptop in precise and I am waiting call from your side for the prompt response .
    Thanks,
    With best regards,
    Kahkashan Parveen

When the battery of DELL make Laptop, Model: Inspiron 14R Service Tag: 8DYG7BS (directly purchased from DELL/Delhi) has stopped working , I have asked them for a replacement. They have insisted for purchasing a new and agreed to send a new one. They sent it by courier but it was not of the model. Hence as asked by them, it was sent back and they agreed to refund the money collected through my SBI credit Card. I have returned the battery in June 2012 and has been repeatedly requesting for the money. In spite of several complaints/calls to their Technical Support, still I am deprived of my money. Somebody please suggest me the remedy.

My Dell Latitude all of a sudden stopped reading the SD Card when the problem could not be resolved by updating the drivers, I lodged a complaint with CS Dell. The Support Agents manning the Dell Call Center very not only very nice & helpful but also very respectful. Thereafter one engineer came and replaced the motherboard, palm-rest (and took away the BT module) but fault could not be rectified. Anther engineer came; again replaced the motherboard, Keypad. Fault still persisted but the Tag No. got changed (most probably the engineer had installed some used laptop and might have given the new laptop to some of his friends whose laptop was not under warranty - otherwise how the Service Tag could get changed?) The third engineer came and again replaced the motherboard. He wanted to replace the palm-rest too but I told him that it was changed just few days back only. He then broke the knobs of the palm-rest deliberately & intentionally. He then told me that he was only checking by applying little pressure. Thereafter he changed the Palm-rest also. In the process he removed the Blue Tooth Reader and coolly took it away. The simple fault of SD Card Reader could not be rectified and my keypad & touch pad started giving me problems; the sound quality deteriorated. After he left, I noticed that the BT Reader was missing. I called him up to ask him about the BT Reader. He very confidently told me that he removed it from one palm-rest & installed in in my laptop. This was a false statement and I reported the matter to higher authorities at Dell and also at Wipro (the engineer was from Wipro on contract with Dell) Next day that engineer came and not only returned the BT Reader but also tendered his apologies for taking it 'by mistake'. WHAT A SHAME!

Later having failed to rectify a small fault of SD Card reader, EVEN AFTER CHANGING THE MOTHERBOARD THRICE, PALM-REST TWICE, and some other parts worth Rs. 1,11.000/-, Dell agreed to replace the laptop.
Since the Laptop was costing app. Rs. 90000/- the Dell very cleverly inflated a quote of RS. 76000/- and sent me as 89142/- for my approval. It was a matter of chance that I while checking the specs I happened to make a online quote of same configuration and found the fact. I then asked Dell to supply me the replacement with the configuration I made online and which was costing Rs. 88,614/-.
After more then 20 days of having given me assurance of replacement. when Dell dd not supply the replacement I wrote a letter to Mr. Mahesh Bhalla, Dell's Executive Director & GM, that I will file a Consumer case in the Consumer Court under Sec. 12, 14, 17 & 21 of Consumer Protection Act 1986. I sent this letter perhaps a notice, by Speed Post and copies by email, to all the senior officers including Director Services, Sh. Ravi Gutta for hopeless onsite warranty service by TVS-E & WIPRO engineers and also to Manager WUR Cell, Ms. Melody, for the dilatory tactics adopted by her team members in asking me all absurd authorizations; read undertakings. I was then immediately sent me a brand new latitude within next 2 days - perhaps even before the speed post was delivered to Mr. Mahesh Bhalla.

After receiving the replacement I though that nightmare was over. When switched on, this brand new Laptop's screen turned blank immediately after having entered all my particulars. When nothing happened for next 2 hrs. I turned it off and re-started it. Same thing happened again. I then reported the matter to Dell.

Dell sent his engineer (from WIPRO, but he told a lie that he was from Dell else I would have shown hm the door coz last time a WIPRO engineer had taken the Blue Tooth reader) who after seeing the laptop screen turning blank, started it in a safe mode and after the laptop booted up in safe mode he run few utilities then started it in normal mode and told me that I should have "Hard Booted" the laptop before filing a complaint with Dell. According to him and his written report, copy of the same is still with me, he had "Hard Booted" the laptop by going into safe mode. HOW DISGUSTING FOR AN ENGINEER TO TALK ALL THIS NON-SENSE as we all very well know that hard boot does not mean starting the system in to safe mode and then re-starting t into normal mode.
Thereafter the screen going blank problem started occurring once a while. The diagnostic run showed error[protected] LCD Cable error and the Battery life which was at 97% earlier was reduced to 94%.

The Dell support team later made me format the hard disk and reinstall Win 7 - including all the drivers. In the process I lost my factory recovery image too but even then problem kept on re-occurring. The LCD cable error remained as it is and so was the battery life at 94%.

To add fuel to the fire one Sr. Engr. Mr. Syed told me that my laptop is 'not having LCD' but LED so I need not to worry about LCD cable error.. I immediately realized that whatever has been written on the net about Dell is correct for all monitors are basically LCD only. Its their illumination method which is CFL or LCD.

I again wrote a letter to Mr. Ravi Gutta and wanted immediate replacement for that brand new defective laptop sent to me as a replacement. When he did not reply, I took the matter to Delhi Dispute Resolution Society under Dept of Law & LA Govt. of India (Jagoo Grahak Jagoo: Toll Free No.[protected] for early amicable resolution. I, being a loyal Dell customer for years, owning Optiplex desktop and Dell's high end professional monitor - Ultra Sharp 2410U, never wanted to make it public that the Dell's service engineers are so inefficient & incompetent and also utterly dishonest & fraud that they cannot repair a simple fault of SD Card Reader and can even steal a part (may be anything on which they can lay their hands on, in your premises) too. But then Dell instead of sending some of its officers, choose to sent his lawyer who deliberately asked 15 days time to consult the Dell and get back. This was only a mediation proceedings to amicably settle the issue. I realized that Dell has intentionally & deliberately sent me a defective Laptop with defective battery and its lawyers would not like that things are settled quickly. I then filed a Consumer case against Dell even before the next date of mediation proceedings. As anticipated by me, on the next date of mediation proceedings, Dell's lawyer came and offered to get the laptop repaired and no replacement. When I countered him that Dell could not rectify a simple fault of SD Card Reader even by changing the parts worth Rs. 1,11,000/- by three different engineers and because of that frequent dismantling and reassembling, my laptop had developed other problems.; whereas the present fault was mysterious as the screen turns blank after Windows logo once a while and therefore I cannot trust those inefficient and incompetent and above all DISHONEST engineers, he had no answer. As expected the mediation proceedings failed. The case will now proceed at "Consumer Court read District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum" under the sec. mentioned above. I neither served a so called legal notice thru a lawyer nor fighting (pleading) this case thru any lawyer. It is not necessary to hire an advocate to present your complaint in Consumer Courts. I will be doing it all by myself. I am even willing to help everyone who wish to file a Consumer complaint in Consumer Court against Dell. All you need is 4 copies of complaint written in English explaining the facts and your requirement that is relief you want from the court. Rs. 100/- (postal order) is the fees of Consumer Courts. Mind you they are not Courts but Forums though holding judicial powers Why because people like you & me can seek justice ourselves. But remember, these Forums have powers like Civil Courts, but here the Judges are Retd. Govt. Officers & retd. Judges.

Anybody needing any help in this respect is most welcome. PLEASE TELL ME WHEN DELL SERVICE ENGINEERS COULD NOT RECTIFY A SIMPLE PROBLEM OF SD CARD READER EVEN AFTER CHANGING MOTHERBOARD THRICE AND SCREWED MY LAPTOP: WHEN A SR.
ENGINEER SAYS THAT MY LAPTOP DOES NOT HAVE LCD MONITOR BUT LED MONITOR AND LCD CABLE ERROR IS A BUG THEN HOW CAN I TRUST A BRAND NEW LAPTOP IN THE HANDS OF SUCH PEOPLE WHO HAD EARLIER SCREWED MY PREVIOUS LAPTOP.
Please send me your honest views. You can join me in my fight against fraud of Dell. After all the mess (and the theft), the Director Services, Sh Ravi Gutta must own all the responsibility and gracefully quit Dell as its Director Services. Dell must immediately replace my brand new but defective laptop and compensate me for all the harassment, agony, and torture or wait for the Consumer Court verdict. Sh. Ravi Gutta can be approached at [protected]@dell.com for your service related problems.

This is regarding the LCD problem on my laptop Studio 1558 which is still under comprehensive warranty coverage. While

working couple of days back, the LCD screen suddenly got frozen with black spots and I lodged a complaint at Dell customer

centre. They assured that the LCD would be replaced under warranty. Now when the engineer visited my home to replace the

same, he said that it is categorized under 'Liquid damage' which is not covered under warranty and are bluntly refusing to

replace my LCD. This is o[censored]tmost frustration and nuisance of a service provided by Dell, since they are simply going back

on their promise to replace. The laptop is very well handled with no manhandling and that is visible from the excellent

condition of the laptop (2 yrs ols approx). Now they are simply saying that the LCD is accidental damage (no basis for it)

and cannot be replaced under warranty. My question is if for expensive parts they are not covering simle warranty

(definitely not damaged / mishandled case), then what is the point of taking such an expensive warranty coverage which is of

                  no use ???

                    Hi,

My name is Vasim Saiyad and I purchased dell inspiron n5050 laptop in a month of april 2012. My service tag number is 6wt2nr1 and express service code is [protected]. I have a issue in laptop speaker as voice is spreading too much and voice quality is very bad and I have 12 month warranty period. I visited the dell service center here in Ahmedabad to replace speaker but they refused to solve my issue in warranty and suggest me to contact dell online support.

I sent an email to dell online support on 11th September 2012. They are also refusing to change speaker and replying very unusual answer that it is due to third party software and not a product issue referencing online Warrenty policy link given in below that was not given to read at purchasing time.

The similar problem has happend twice in four month and when it happend first time they replaced speakers and even that time they DID not acknowledge me about such policy and issue. I have checked the VLC player in other laptop brands. Even I have checked the VLC player in one of my friend's dell inspiron n5050 and it does not cause any issue. This suggest that I have been given defected product as same issue has occured multiple times in four month period.

Below is the reply from dell technical support in email
                    [protected][protected][protected][protected][protected][protected]

                    Dear Mr. Vasim,

Thank you for contacting dell technical support.

Further to our conversation over the telephone today, I really apologize that for the issue and as discussed you are using a VLC player which has functionality of increase the sound quality upto 400%, which damage the speakers membrane.

As any damage by the 3rd party software is not covered in warranty. You can check the warranty contract on the below given link as well.

The following is text of letter sent to Mr. Ravi Gutta, Director Services Dell India on 08th August 2012. After no reply was received, the matter was forwarded to Delhi Dispute Resolution Society, Govt. of India Ministry of Law, Dept. Law, Justice & LA, New Delhi. for mediation. The Dell's dilatory tactics did not stop even there as 7/Sept/12 Dell advocate came before the society and wanted 15 days time (only to delay & frustrate the customers as usual). Thereafter the full fledged Consumer complaint is now moved to Consumer Court.:

RE; TECHNICAL ISSUES WITH NEW LAPTOP: SERVICE ID[protected]

                            Dear Mr. Ravi,
It's really very unfortunate that a Laptop delivered to me, on 20th July 2012, has been giving me problem from the very moment it was switched on for the first time. I remember having sent you a copy of the mail about the problem.

I'm mentioning the entire sequence of events/details as under:-

                            1. The Laptop, after having switched on for the first time, needed the details viz 'user name & password etc. After all the information was fed the screen turned blank and only hard disk LED kept blinking. These had continued for more than 90 minutes after which I had to switched it off and then switch it on again. After Dell's & Windows logo the screen again turned blank. Thereafter the matter was reported to Dell.

                            2. On Monday. 23rd July a service engineer visited me and after seeing the problem started the system in the 'Safe Mode' and thereafter re-started it in the normal mode. He termed it as 'Hard boot'. He did mention the same 'Hard Boot' in his service report. As a Director Services, you'll also agree that this is not exactly a 'Hard Boot'. He even had very sarcastically commented that I should have 'Hard booted' the system. The Service Engineers who could not explain me about the leaflet that had come with the system, telling about Advance Format 512e Hard Disk Drives, did sarcastically commented on my not opting to 'Hard Boot' the system.

                            3. Thereafter, this problem of screen turning blank after Windows logo kept appearing on every 4th - 5th boot. Another snag that came to my notice was the LCD cable error[protected] during the diagnostic test, along with Battery health of 97%. The battery health further dipped to 94% in the subsequent diagnostic tests.

                            4. On 26th I wrote to one Mr. Shigin, who had earlier helped me creating disk partition and also in installing Windows XP mode, about the reoccurring problem of blank screen and asked his help.

                            5. Having failed to receive any response, I then contacted Dell technical support on 27th July and apprised my issues to one Ms. Akshitha (Case ID[protected]. She advised me to re-install the factory image and she helped me in doing so. However the problem was not fully resolved and whenever the screen turned blank, I had to re-start the system in 'Safe mode' to run it in normal mode.

                            6. Having fed up with the often re-occurrence of the blank screen problem, on 29th July I again called up Dell support and spoke to one Mr. Balachander. Since the problem was related to the display and did not resolve even after restoring the factory image, Mr. Balachander suggested trying updating the video drivers. He did send me link to download the drivers. Appreciating his logical approach, I uninstalled the old drivers and updated with the latest ones. After installing the drivers the problem further aggravated and thereafter on the advise of Ms. Akshitha entire Windows had to be reinstalled.

                            7. After having re-installed the Windows I faced problem in re-installing the windows driver.
Since I was using the Dell driver disk for the first time and my system was running in a very low resolutions in absence of video drivers, I was not able to see the 'extract' button on the screen. When I told her that there is no button to extract the drivers, Ms. Akshitha should have told me to scroll down the windows (though the side scroll bar was not showing up). But instead she wanted to take the remote control of the system to help me in re-installing the drivers. My problem was that without having installed WLAN driver I was not in a position to connect to internet and hand over the control to her remotely. I then had to install all the drivers after downloading them in another computer and thereafter requested her for remote session. Her busy schedule and preoccupation made me request her manager, Mr. Suraj to replace her with some other Agent.

                            8. On my request for change, one Mr. Syed, the senior technician was deputed to help me. He remotely installed video application and few other drivers. He also installed "Seagate" free fall sensor driver for my hard disk. Though as a matter of fact my hard disk - ST9500423AS does not have that feature as per Seagates' own website. Only ST9500423ASG model has this free fall sensor. I did also tell him about another unknown device showing up in my system and on every boot the error message being displayed about the drivers not installed. Unfortunately lot of time was wasted in downloading of application during this remote session that other issues could not be tackled. I had even sent him the screen shots but received no solution.

                            9. Mr. Syed advised me to upgrade my A07 bios by downloading the A13 Bios from the Dell support site. About the LCD cable error, he explained me that it was not LCD but LED display in my system and the LCD error makes no different (though I totally disagree with him as all these monitors are LCD only - LED or CFL is only technology used for illumination - backlight. Regarding the Battery health, he told me that since battery is under 1 year warranty, the same can be replaced later. However when I tried upgrading the bios as per his advise, it returned error. Mr. Syed later asked me to first upgrade to A08 and then to A13. I had enough of everything; right from 20th July with this system that I do not wish to do any further upgrading.

                            10. The Intel i5 2520M CPU installed in this system seems to be normal one and not with vPro technology though it was specifically asked and agreed to by WUR Team(See the screen shot of Intel Processor identification utility attached to this mail).

You will surely agree with me, Mr. Ravi, that a brand new system giving all sort of problems from the day one is not a healthy sign at all. All this seen with previous bitter experience of TVS E & WIPRO engineers - one of whom put a motherboard with a vague Service Tag thereby jeopardizing my entire warranty and the other one took away the Bluetooth reader from the Palm-rest putting my integrity on stake. What more, the 14" professional carry bag sent along with this system is yet another example of poor QC on part of Dell as it has wrinkles all along the stitching lines. The photographs of this carry bag and also of the system screen showing the LCD cable error and also Battery health of 94% are being attached to this mail for your kind perusal - to help you in taking immediate decision by ordering instant replacements.

Even as of now I get blank screen once a while. I also invariably get device driver error message on every fresh boot (and not from hibernation). Windows is unable to install an important update from Creative Technology. Every time I give my OK for the said update, it fails. And then again seeks permission to install the same update.

With all these facts I wish to request you to replace the laptop and of course it's carry bag too. And for all the torture faced all these days - starting right from 7th June 2012 till date I want Dell to pay the damages to the tune of Rs. 50K; to compensate for all the harassment & torture faced and still continuing; for not only sending a defective laptop but also sending a non vPro CPU. This is a most clear "Open & Shut" case. I never ever asked for a replacement last time when your engineers failed thrice even after changing the parts worth Rs. 111K. However I now not only want immediate replacement of this brand new system but also demands Dell to pay me damages/compensation to the tune of Rs. fifty thousand in cash.

I'm already looking forward for most immediate and amicable resolution. You are most welcome to call me on my mobile anytime after 12 noon - for any clarifications and/or doubts.

                            Thanks,
                            Sincerely,

When I asked to transfer the call to someone who can help me, he said "I am giving the call to a Sr. Tech). Then a lady picked the call and said that she is the manager (Priyanka). She was extremely rude with me, shouted at me and said that she can’t help me on my warranty issue. I have gifted this laptop and when I came to see the problem I have reported. I have logged this case one month back and nobody responded to me in a satisfactory fashion. Priyanka told me that your warranty is about to expire. But it was not expired. Through email another technician told me that I will be covered under warranty as since I have logged the case 1 month earlier. I want some higher authority person to handle my situation as Priyanka challenged me that "you go and complain it to any levels about me" AND DISCONNECTED THE CALL AFTER ONE HOUR. This is the worst experience I had after calling for help. Please treat this as a serious problem and take appropriate action against that lady. Now I have a useless DELL 1420 laptop and i am going to burn it in the public.

Whenever i call to support they keep me waiting till my mobile battery drain and they give commitment and wont turn up at all. I want a good laptop. i had paid 56k for this and they are acting as if they are doing any favor.

                            Better avoid Dell.
we bought a laptop that started to crash regularly from the time we bought it. However over the coming few weeks it got worse to the point where if we moved at all even to reach a pen on the side o[censored]s it would crash, any movment at all would cause it to stop working. I spent around half an hour on the phone toing the check asked of me by the guy on the telephone from the technical support, and at the end he said it would be picked up and taken away to be fixed. A week later it was returned and as I swiched it on and shifted in my seat it again crashed, it was indeed still as bad as before. I rang again and after being in a cue for a good 10 minutes finally got through to technical support again. I was told that although she agreed with what I was saying (which was that it was NOT fixed) that it had been tested and returned after replacing the LCD. We now have to make sure one o[censored]s is in AGAIN to wait for it to be picked up and AGAIN when it is returned HOPFULL this time fixed??????????????
I would rather have my money back and go elsewhere.

                              Dear Sir,

I have purchased a Dell Vostro Lap top on 6th February 2012 from Digital Retail India Pvt. Ltd (Address: G-1, Bajaj House 97, Nehru Place, New Delhi-110019) I have my Invoice for proof (Invoice No. 2584). As per Dell norms the complete cover warranty is given for one year. I approached Dell customer care since I am facing some problem with my laptop. I came to know that my warranty has already expired which is impossible, as per my invoice, my warranty should expire only on 6th February 2013.
I have contacted the Dell customer care center and got no responds. Also I contacted the Digital Retail India Pvt. Ltd. They told me that they will get my laptop corrected, which I cannot accept since Dell is providing onsite warranty. I request you to kindly look into this matter and take necessary action so that I can claim my warranty. Thank you.

I purchased a laptop manufactured by Dell company.

Since the day of purchase the said laptop is giving a whole lot of problems.

I contacted Dell's customer care executives, and everytime they gave instructions over the phone, but that didn't solve the problems fully.

The laptop is quite slow in performance and the optical drive turned out to be faulty.
They replaced optical drive but with refurbished one. My laptop is brand new and is under warranty period and I am entitled to get a new replacement, but instead they sent refurbished product.
And I made repeated requests to fully check my system, physically; because frequently the DVD drives are getting unusable and I am not sure whether it is happening because of faulty DVD drives they are sending or because of problem with the laptop as a whole? But my requests went unheeded by Dell.
And I also doubt about Dell's policy of replacing optical drives with faulty ones, which becomes unusable after few days or months. That may be a policy to somehow cover the warranty period and then make the customer forced to buy a new one as soon as the warranty period gets over.

Please help regarding this at the earliest.

                                  Thanks,
                                  Rahul.

I have purchased a DELL Vostro 1540 laptop from Networking electronics system company NESCO , Faridi Building, Hazratganj, Lucknow on 16th july 2012 and it got stopped working within 10 days of purchasing due to some technical problems. I complained, but the company is refusing to take any action, rather than fixing the problem, they are giving me the suggestions that I should repair it myself with the help of a screw driver.
Kindly help me to get it repair or replace it becoz i can't afford the repair cost of it.

On 18th July'2012, I had left my Dell XCD35 Android Phone for replacement under warranty at Digicomp Complete Solutions, Modi Tower, Nehru Place, New Delhi.

There was some problem with the display of the phone. At the service center, I was informed of a deadline of 30 days from 28th July of the completion of the process of the replacement of the device. They had told me that I can come back after 30 days and get my device back.

After waiting for 40 days I contacted Digicomp and was requested to call Dell customer care service. I contacted them, and they gave me Dell's telecom division's email id at which I was supposed to contact them for further details of my case.

I contacted them and they told me to wait for another 8-10 days. I did not receive my device back even after that period. I contact them again via email, and strangely, this time they did not even bother to reply to my mail.
I contacted the customer care representative again and she promised me that they were to dispatch the stock yesterday.
In this period, I tried contacting Digicomp and Dell customer care representative several times. Even after waiting for as long as half an hour nobody collected my call at customer care center. Moreover, the land line phone at Digicomp never connects, and whenever I call at cell phone they tell me to call at land line and then hung up on me.
Dell spokesperson have hung up on my call twice, and never completed a conversation with complete assurance.

I am attaching a copy of the emails that I have sent and received from Dell.
The last one of the was sent today only.

Now, let me tell you that a dell person hung up on me for the second time. I am attaching two links, which are as following:

What impression do you think does these things make on reader?

It has been around 45 days, and I have not received the Dell XCD35 device which I had left at the service center at Nehru Place, New Delhi. The name of the service center is Digicomp Complete Solutions.
Today, for the second time, a person from Dell hung up on my call (it is strange that I was even talking to one, otherwise call never connects).
Yes! I have been calling Dell customer care from last three to four days and not even once was my call connected, even after waiting for several minutes (around half an hour).
Plus, when I call at Digicomp, the land-line number never connects (practically never), and whenever I call at the cell phone... Well! They say call at landline and then hang up the phone.

Should I suppose that Dell is not supporting me at all, or not even listening to what I have to say.

This is not a my first warning, but indeed it is the last one. On last Saturday, I was promised by Dell that I will receive the consignment before this Sunday at Digicomp. However, neither Digicomp or Dell customer care center are picking my call. How am I suppose to know if my device has reached the service center. Or am I suppose to travel for two hours and go to service center, spending 100 bucks on traveling in rainy season?

I AM GOING TO CONSUMER COURT ON MONDAY IF I DO NOT GET A RESPONSE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF SENDING OF THIS MAIL.

I am sorry for use of such harsh language, but I am not left with any other option. You are manufacturing a call phone, not a space ship!

                                        Hello!
I feel extremely sorry to tell you that this is the second time that I am contacting you. More than a month ago I left my DELL XCD35 (registered by the name: Chetan Bhasin, or Chetan) for replacement under warranty at Digicomp Complete Solutions, Modi Tower, Nehru Place, New Delhi - which is a registered Dell service center.
I have not received my product back even after waiting till the deadline provided to me by service center. I had also contacted Dell the few days ago and I was asked to wait for another few days. Even now, I have not received my product. Moreover, contacting the service center I hardly get my phone call picked up, and when they do pick my call they tell me that they have not received the stock for XCD35 and I have to wait even longer.

I shall tell you that I have been waiting for really long, and I understand that no manufacturing issue takes such long time. I am in urgent need of return of my phone since I do not have any other device to continue with due to which I am experiencing heavy loss.
I either need my device back, or need the compensation for the same.

Pleas understand the degree of my urgency and assist me as soon as possible. I do not think if it would be possible for me to do without my device for more than 2-3 days, by maximum.

Be in touch with service center? Yeah... only if they pick my call, I can be in touch with them. Excuse me, but what kind of manufacturing shortage takes such long?
Even if you were to create the whole device it wouldn't take that long.

Pleas return my device back to me as soon as possible. Moreover, what about the promise of receiving of consignment by Saturday by customer care representative at Dell?
I thought I had made it pretty clear how helpless I am in this condition.

dell mobile phone — replacement promise

I bought a Dell mobile XCD53 around Apr'11 . within few days itself i realised what horrible set i have picked for myself. The dell phone gives a replacement garantee at the time of sale but if you go to the service center they NEVER acknowledge the same. I had visited there Noida center and with complaints they upgraded teh software and said issue resolved. Again in May'11 i had written to the dell helpline reg my compaint - the phone hangs , switch off /on on its own, while talking you will mis the voice. The 1st reply to the mail was sent to me on May 31'11 . was promised by them instrument replacement but that time the gurgaon branch was running out of stock. Its more than 4 months now and they still maintain the statement that the ph is out of stock. Last month i have visited teh service center the center manager told me that there is no stock and i will have to leave my phone with them for 5 -6 days. This clause was not told to me by the helpline so i walked out and had written to them. The mail was never replied to. Its pain to get through the dell helpline. I managed to get through in the morning today but post that not getting connetced. I was promissed a call back within 10- 15 minutes but no call. I again visited the Gurgaon center today and gues what no stock again. I wonder how could Dell be so bad. Hard earned money wasted
This has been the worst of all my experiences with customer care of any band! What do they print the warranty cards for?
this should be enacted and seen seriously
