i have purchase a mobile DELL XCD28 for before three month.
after than i realise that any problem comes to mobile.
i take mobile to DELL service center and then DELLrepresentive tell me this is company mistake and i have to change mobile for15-20 days.
i give the mobile 5 august 1911 and then today i have no replacement mobile.
mobile service tag is HC8ZVN1
PLEASE help me

I gave my laptop to dell service center for keyboard replacement and to rectify some software problem. After collecting my laptop, I found that DVD ROM was not working. Once again I went to the service center and briefed the engineer about this new issue following which he refused to entertained in the first instance & asked me to pay for the same once again. After requesting a number of times he agreed to check the problem & found that this problem began due to lose fitting and alignment of the DVD ROM. Now I am facing the same of problem after just one day after collecting my laptop. I don’t get an answer so as to the number of times I need to visit the Dell Service center for this small issue.

i bought an laptop model vostro 1015 service tag no. FNQMKL1 with 1 year hardware waaranty from comcon a private shop in raipur. after few day lapto begin to hang 20 -30 minute after starting to computer..i went to comcon for this problem.they told me that we cant do anything this problem will be resolved by the dell service center.i called dell...after that they send a engineer for replacement of fan of laptop..but problem persist till now when i call service center they told me there is no problem with my laptop..so kindly take attension to my complain.

    New Dell laptop model inspiron not working only used for few days, stil have warranty but no service is providing. not responding at all
    not working properly under warranty period when i start it it without starting its gets shut down with a peep sound regularly comming whenever i start it
    We purchased Dell Laptop, Model Inspiron in the month of June, 2010.
    For the past 2 weeks,it is not getting started since there is some problem. With respect to same, I am calling Dell Call Centre for past 2 weeks. Every time they take service tag no & then transfer the call to Technical Support, on which nobody picks up the phone for half an hour, and finally the call gets disconnected, telling that there service executives are busy. This is happening everyday every time throughout the day.
    Hence I am helpless, since they are not responding, and my machine is not working for 2 weeks.

      I am having a NIGHTMARISH experiences with DELL, who are behaving in MOST IRRESPONSIBLE & CRIMINAL manner, like a perfect CHEATERS..

      I purchased a laptop inspiron 14r service tag no. 7dh4vq1 from vashi dell store , now i am facing hardware problems and made a complaint for replacement , complaint no[protected] on 9th Aug 2011. they said they will send me replacement documednts in 3 days maximum today is 6th day i have not receive any mail from them.

      I am not at all satisfied with the way the issue is being handled by DELL. It has already taken very long from the day I have made payment of my laptop. I am a very busy person and don't get time to waste my valuable time on such issues.

      I request you to kindly entrust this resposibility to any specifie person to deliver my laptop. Convey the name and contact number of the person to restore some faith in your organisation. I also request you to have proper procedure for handling such issues.

      I am suffering a lot due to the product and the services provided bt DELL. Itis nothing short of CRIMINAL OFFENCE.

        Last year my son Rison Prasad K has purchased a laptop directly from DELLwhen he was at Ahmedabad. It has one year onsite service warranty. Now the dekete key is not working properly. When using mouse sometimes it happens that whichever item we click get deleted. Several times this was reported to them from Thrissur on the toll free number and not yet attended. Now today onwards the laptop is used by My daughter Shan Prasad K, studying for M.Sc.(Computational Science), at IIITM-K, Technopark, Trivandrum. Please repair the laptop at Trivandrum before the expiry of the service warranty.

          My dell streak was brought in U.S and i am using it in India (Indore) , The problem is that i am not able to charge it and i have got international warranty . I have called to your toll free number, And they suggested that i have to buy a Indian warranty plus i have to pay for the socket by which the charging is done .It is very suprising that a company like Dell has a different rule in India .And i am not getting any proper response from the customer care

              I had bought Dell XCD35 smartphone from Flipkart.com on 28/4/2011. It came with android2.1. So I got it upgraded at dell service centre at Kanpur to android 2.2. But even after this upgrade flash player was not working. So I re-brought the handset at the service centre where Mr. Rishi (in-charge of service centre) could not fix it but instead asked me to submit the phone so that he could send it to Dell Service at Bangalore from where he said I would get a new replacement in 2 weeks time. He assured me that the firmware update that is missing will be corrected and I will get new handset with android2.2. So I submitted it with him on 25/6/2011 against complaint id: 8245.
              At 2 weeks he didnt call me or tell me whether my relacement is ready or not. So I had to call him and then he told me that my replacement has already arrived and I can pick it up.
              On reaching the service centre, he showed me the replacement set which had abrasions, chrome lining was scratched and looked a very old set as compared to my set which was totally new, hardly 1.5 months old, without any scratches or abrasions. Also it was android 2.1 and Mr. Rishi told me that for some reasons he wasn't able to upgrade it to android 2.2
              This clearly showed that my problem was not solved at all as probably any phone supporting flash should have come with android 2.2
              I refused to accept the set. They promised me to give me a new sealed set. What followed was my nemesis. The Dell authorities were least instead in solving my issues. I had to repeatedly call them (even their In-charge at Bangalore) to atleast return my set even if the problem wasnt solved. More than a month after I finally received my handset (replaced) which was android 2.1. The flash support is still not working even after upgrading to android 2.2. This goes to show that Dell is only be fooling new customers by taking their new phones and replacing them with refurbished sets. They even took my original battery as a condition for exchange with supposedly new set which was not as the set I received had its seal broken. Also there is some dust mark on its internal screen. When I asked how to remove that mark the local service incharge, Mr Rishi, said that he will have to resend it to Bangalore and no commitment regarding when it will come back...

              Dell Mobile is totally befooling people by making false service claims. They cant explain to me that why they took my set, kept it with themselves for more than 1 month, and replace it with a refurbished set without the problem solved. If the problem was not to be solved then why did they take the set?

              Dell Mobiles — Inferior Product & Support Offered by Dell Mobile Phones

              I bought a Dell XCD28 mobile phone in April 2011 in Mumbai giving into much hyped launch in Nov 2010 by Dell India. This phone used to restart during conversations to which the company offered a replacement in the month of May 2011. The replaced handset however continued to give same problem and I had to return it for a second replacement in June 2011. To my horror, the company has stopped production of this particular handset model and today after 2 months of wait i still havent received a replacement from the company. My constant follow-ups with the service center has been in vain as they revert with a standard reply stating that there's no response from the technical division based out of Gurgaon.

              Dell Mobiles — Charger lying at service station

                Dell mobile service is worst in its class...service centre is totally a waist...u better talk to higher authority in ur region otherwise they will keep on giving false excuses...In my case it took more than a month that too when i had to call them every other day

                Dell Xcd28 Mobile — non functioning of screen touch, hangs many times and low battery back up

                Dear Sir,
                I have purchased one DELL-XCD-28 mobile hand set bering Order No.96209489 Rs.8699/- IMEI[protected] during the month February,2011 from homeshop-18. But after 4 months the screen touch option hangs many times, sometimes not functioning and battery back up is very low. I had also many times lodge complain before your homeshop by telephone . As per your advice i have also contact customer care Dell but the mobile always getting swich up often. The said mobile is under warrenty period. You are therefore requested to returned a new mobile handset or refund my money as soon as possible.
                An early action in this regard is highly requested.

                Dell XCD28 mobile will not do service after one year warranty period. We need to throw this mobile because the service center in Bangalore and also the Dell Call Center Executive saying directly " your mobile will not make service after warranty period. So please don't buy Dell Mobiles because these mobiles are from China with a Brand Name ZTC Racer. In Bangalore Service Center they replaced me two times because of Mobile Restarting and Poor Touch Screen.

                its better to buy new anrroid for 3 to 4 thousand with lot more function, of any china make. never buy any dell product

                  I bought a Dell cell during the month of March and within 2 months the working condition of the cell was very bad, so I went to Dell service center in Chennai and there they agreed that there was a manufacturing defect and promised to replace me with another cell. They told it will be replaced within 15 days but whenever I contacted them through phone or went directly, their reply was a constant one saying that it will be received within 2-3 days. I am fed up with this answer. I am even willing to buy a new model at some more cost but they are not giving any proper answer. I bought the Dell cell over others due to your name in laptops but I did not expect this poor service from you people. Now i have been put to a position o[censored]sing my old cell which does not have access to see my mails in regards to my business. I am even unable to buy a new one also.
                  Dell post sales service is worst...they just keep on making false claims...better talk to some higher authority...no point in talking to local service centre..

                    I regret to inform you that as a new & 1st time customer of DELL I am totally unsatisfied because of poor product quality, incessant problems and horrible customer care. The laptop I m using having service tag no 6ZG1CQ1 which I bought 3 to 4 months back but from the day one itself I got no’s of problems with it as mentioned below
                    1. Laptop start up time almost one hour
                    2. Battery back up
                    3. Hard disk error
                    Everything is defective. When I tried to register the problem with DELL customer care , I dint get proper response and solution to my queries. From the 1st day even I complained for battery they didn’t respond, then when I informed them that from starting day itself it is taking more than 1 hour to start they told it’s a minor problem. They told to format it where they didn’t inform me that I will be losing MS office, when I complained they just said DELL will be not responsible. After that again also I faced problem for starting then they informed it’s a hard disk problem. I think DELL customer care is totally waste, as I am completely fade off with that your customer care officer told me that they will not able to do anything if it is a defective piece also. As per their statement once in 100 we can have a defective piece which is supplied to me and they are helpless. He simply disconnected the call. I lost every valuable document because of your defective laptop and your customer service is worst. Now your customer service officers are disconnecting my call without replying. As the Laptop is very new and under warranty, please replace my laptop with new else refund my money.

                      I WAS a great friend of Dell products.
                      I always suggested and purchased dell products till now,Dell had unmatched service till I ordered for a battery.
                      I purchased an Inspiron 1564 (1KYV4BS) laptop from dell in feb 2010, everything was fine with that .
                      In Jan 2011 I face some backup issue with my battery , I called Dell they asked me to update the bios, I did that It helped me a little.
                      In March my battery completely broke down .
                      I asked dell for quotation in july, I got a quotation on 15 July from GAZAL Dhingra ([protected]@dell.com) stating that there is only one battery left and I have to make the urgent payment to get the battery.
                      I did the same and mailed the details to dell (GAZAL). But after that I didn’t receive any call or reply from dell. I called a number of times to dell but evet time they give me a PARROT answer “We are extremely sorry from dell and your problem will be sort out” but all in vain. Then one day I got a call from Dell on 25-26 July saying that my payment has not been received to dell.
                      On 25-26 august I somehow managed to talk to their manager ,he assured me that dell will call me back about the matter but no call, no mail.
                      I was just shocked I called Dell on 28 stating all the matter but nothing happened.
                      Will anybody at dell will tell me that what they have done with my Rs 3000.00 and will they deliver the battery or not.

                        i recently bought a new dell laptop inspiron 15r for personal use,
                        now the problem i am facing is that when i put the laptop on charging mode, it strts giving electric shocks whem i use it simultaneously
                        and i have been facing problem o[censored]sing my laptop in wifi zone
                        i can never access internet due to some technical issue
                        please help me sort out the problem

                            Hello,

                            This is a very serious note, regarding issues associated with Dell Studio 1558 model.

                            My Dell Laptop Service Code is G3L86BS.

                            I purchased this laptop in July 2010, with the hope of excellent performance and support. But the truth is that its full of bugs.
                            Since my purchase, my system crashes on daily basis.

                            I have regularly contacted tech support via phone and also sent tons of emails regarding the problem, but the problem still exists. I have patiently followed all company processes and I have tried all software testing driver updates, got my Hard Disk, RAM, and Motherboard replaced but still no use.

                            I have contacted Dell with email for 30-40 times, and with phone 30-40 times.

                            I have asked for laptop replacement everytime I phoned to tech support but dell's customer has a bunch of bluffing people who keep assuring that soon your query will be solved without replacement. And the truth is that all my mails are just hovering from one point to another, without being look after.

                            They have changed my ram, hdd and 3 times motherboard. In the last time of motherboard change they said it the problem still persists then we will replace the laptop. And still they are not replacing it.

                            I extremely fed up of all continuous experiments with my system, updates and device hardware replacement.
                            The problems are still existing and its causing me daily financial losses.

                            After a long awaited patience I want a REPLACEMENT of my model.

                            Dell is really un-serious toward my problem. I am completely fed up now. I want results, no more excuses now.
                            Here in the forum of Dell clearly states the same exact problem which I am facing with the same laptop:

                            I am facing lot of financial loss, time loss and data loss. And no one there at DELL understands this. :( :(
                            This is extremely sad and irritating. :(
                            I want Complete REPLACEMENT of the laptop. Its still in Warranty and I cannot work on faulty laptop.

                              I want to make a complaint about Sales Person Mr. Rahul D. Jain of Dell India regarding his gift offer for HDMI cable and Amira Exchangeable Cover .

                              He offered the free gift but at the delivery time he did not delivered the gift with the laptop and now he is not responding to the phone calls.
                              I want him to deliver the gift.

                                Hi, my name is gaurav Srivastava and i was purchase dell laptop 3 month back and the service tag number is - DYC2CQ1-model no L502X.. on 16-jul-2011 my machine was not work then has contact with dell technical department they told me that they will provide engineer visit on tuesday 19-jul-2011 but nobody come on tuesday eengineer has come on 20-july-2011 and try to resolving the issue he has replaced motherboard but issue is still then i was call on dell and request to whole unit replacement but they told me give one chance to resolve it and told me that they will send lcd screen ram and hard disk and mother board also.. i told them if you are everything replace then why you have problem to whole unit replacement ..

                                kindly do action ASAP.

                                  MOBILE XCD35 HANDSET BATTERY PACK BACK COVER IS NOT GETTING PROPERLY PACKED LOOSED INTACT. AND ALSO GRAPHIC BACK COVER POOR QUALITY BY HAND TOUCH GETTING REMOVE. I HAVE TRIED TO GET HELP FROM DELL LOCAL SERVICE CENTRE AS THIS MANUFECTURING FAULTY REPALCE BACK COVER BUT THEY ARE SAYING KEEP HANDSET FOR 30DAYS WHICH NOT POSSIBLEFOR ME.

                                  KINDLY HELP ME SHORT OUT THIS ISSUE.

                                  Hai...I have dell xcd 35 mobile phone.I purchase the mobile three month back.my mobile got the complaint.i was gaven the service center.to the service on the 7th feb.but there is no response on dat center. when i am ask to dat guys there is no response at dat center.44days was complt i was gaven the mobile to the service center.but there is on response by the company &service center.the great service center was located at visakapatnam.what i have to do know...?hai... guys ds's my requst for every one dont buy the dell mobile products.becouse of the irresponse of the service .

                                      I had purchased a mobile DELL XCD28 on 16/12/2011 from M/S. S. H. Mumtazuddin & Co., Kolkata, but I highly regret to state that since the date of purchase I have been facing several problems with this handset.

                                      The defects are as under:

                                      Low Battery Backup
                                      Hanging Problem
                                      Randomly Switch OFF within 5-10 minutes while calling or answering a call.

                                      For rectification of this problem, I had approached one of the Service Centres od DELL at Park Plaza Building, 71, Park Street, Kolkata - 16. Upon investigation by the said Service Centre Executives it was found out that it was a manufacturing defect of the Company and the handset was replaced by a new one.

                                      Just after 5-10 days, the same problems were repeated and again I had to go to the Service Centre. The Executive told me that they have received a lot of complaints about this handset and the company has stopped manufacturing this handset. He also told me that he has a last piece left and assured me that the problem won't be repeated and replaced the handset again with a new one.

                                      But to my greatest surprise, I could not believe that a Company like DELL could do this. The same problems were observed on the very same day. Infact, this replaced handset RESTARTED much frequently than the previous phones although there was NO HANGING PROBLEM.

                                      Meanwhile, I have come across several reviews of this handset on the INTERNET and I could not see a single person appreciating this handset. In fact, everyone is facing the same problem which I have been facing since the date of purchase.

                                      Now, I am completely frustrated with this phone (DELL XCD28) and would request the company to provide a permanent remedy to this problem or direct the dealer to refund the cost of the mobile.

                                        i like to bring one big problem in my lapi in your focus,that its processing speed is to slow even slower then p4.my processor is i5 so i was expecting it to be faster then p4 but unfortunately i m not satisfied with your dell product at all...................pls help me on this sir.
