I had submitted my handset (Dell XCD 35) on 17/10/2011 i.e 17th October. The display wasn't working and there was problem with chraging too. I was told that I would receive the handset within 10 to 15 days. But I haven't received the replacement till date. Whenever I call the service center the executive tells me that he hasn't received the consignment and i would get my phone on next Monday. I don't know when that Monday would come.

I would be waiting for a response as soon as possible.

    sir,

    am balamurugam me bought a laptop 9months ago.my service tag no is(DX6Y7N1) INSPIRON N4030 model.after buy the laptop i was check my all parts that time the RAM is only 2GB.am really shocked after i kept the laptop went to the same shop.they r replace the ram in to 2gb to 3gp.then one day my brother send the file to my mbl the file is not transfer.me called the same shop and registered the complaint.buthe said this is only company problem u call the customer care they only solve the problem "he said".after i was called the customer care and reg my complaint.they said with in one week techanican may will come solve the problem "he said".but still now no one come did not solve my problem.
    many times i was called they reluctant to help of me some officers r with out response disconnect the call. am really disappoint.plz take action and solve my problem its my humble request i beg u sir.me facing the problems r [protected]@right mouse button touch pad and bluetooth is also not working. many times i reg my complaint but no one can help me.am waiting for your response..

    even though me buy a laptop that time also me get a problem of bluetooth and left and rigtht button is not working.the officer r reluctant to help f me..honourable consumer plz solve my problem.its my humble request

    i have a new laptop dell n 4030 insipron series, i installed win 7 32 bit and insatalled drivers, , also blue tooth, the blutooth driver insatalled sucessfully, and shown the icon in task bar, and pairing other device but, the problem is with the transmission of files.I am unable to send and recieve files.my nokia mobil display show other device not responding.retry? please give me answer...

    Request you to provide the Service Tag of the laptop. We will arrange for the support team to call you to fix the issue.
    I suspect this is a minor software glitch which can be solved easily.

      Dear Sir,
      This is Karthick Srinivasan from Chennai. Last month 25 Oct 2011 I've purchased a DELL XPS 15 L502X modeled laptop from a Direct Dell showroom (Bharathi Computers, Annanagar). i used that computer only 3 Hrs, from the date of purchase.
      When (15Nov2011) I'm using that laptop suddenly the Display getting off. After that i Complaint this issue to the dealer. They checked and told me "your Display had some problem and we can't correct it". They are not interested to here my words they need only money not Customer Satisfaction (Because of i paid full amount by cash when it was delivery). Same thing the battery backup withstands only 15-17 hrs while not in use the computer. The laptop worth is Rs.80,000 but the Display life is only 20 days...? what a poor design...? i feel "I'm purchasing a second hand laptop........??? not a new one.....!!! "

      I'm not satisfied with this computer. I've one year warranty period. Can i replace this entire laptop? What is the procedure for replacement?

        This is in regard to our Dell Desktop Warranty which has been going on since one month. I am copying the letter of communication with this mail. The Sales manager called us and told us to deposit money into the Dell account and we did that.

        Here is the copy of the communication with Dell:

        Mentioned below are the prices of warranty Inclusive of taxes:


        2 Year Next Business Day warrenty charges = Rs.7,600/- + Rs720 for recertification as Out of warrenty Total = Rs.8320.00

        1. If you agree to the quotation please reply back without changing subject writing “I Agree to the quotation” and the details of payment.
        2. System Recertification by Onsite Engineer (Rs 720/-) is compulsory in case of warranty upgrades for systems i.e. Out of Warranty to NBD or Complete Cover; NBD to Complete Cover.

          Dear Sir ,
          I have booked a laptop by making online payment of Rs 43,421.10
          on 13-Oct-2011 wide above mentioned order Number.At the time of booking the Dell representative confirmed me that the Laptop would be delivered to me before Diwali that is is before 26th October 2011.The system was standard model with no changes . I kept following and keep getting the assurance for the timely receipt.The laptop i have to present to mine friend on Diwali as a gift.But on 26 th October 2011 (Diwali) when i have not received the laptop , i have cancelled the order by email and telephonic to customer care( the sorry figure i have to make in front of mine friend was worth mentioning as i could not meet mine commitment to him , he purchased system from the local market ) .The customer care was prompt enough to revert back with the case number.But after that on every day i keep getting the calls that the system would be delivered in next two days ,To each such call i replied patiently that i had request for the Refund .On 28 th october i got call from the logistic! s of dell that they are about to dispatch a system , i was shocked that how it is happening how one department (logistics) can not get information from the other department(customer care ) or vice versa .i confirmed the logistics team for mine non requirement nd mine case number for the proceeding of refund.They again confirmed that the matter would be informed to the concerned .
          Again to mine great surprise on 29th morning i got call from local blue dart courier guy that they are coming to deliver a laptop to me( I have never sent them any authorization letter or any road permit , how logistics have sent it ).I was totally in shock how the hell Dell have become such a big company where all there departments are floating in air and seems there is no one to control them even .
          This time i have bounced back to customer care that mine money is being used by Dell from the 26th october 2011. and i want the refund immediately .i keep getting the assurance that mine amount would be refunded soon .
          Worth mentioning that till 8th November as on today the system is lying with the Local courier .
          I dont know who permit them to send the courier to me .
          Now they say the logistics would submit the report of recovery ,then only the finance department can release mine refund .

          I ask how Dell can take Customer for ride ,why the logistics people should be penalized .
          And why not mine refund should be made immediately and payment should be taken from the logistics team .

          As a consumer why should i suffer, between the 5 days a week working of Dell , where people like to work of their own.

          God help this Brand ...And help me in getting mine Money

            3 ) After This Replaced Was Commited Within 10 Working Days But Unfortunately It Was Not Done Till 33 Days

            4) Meanwhile Several Committed Was Given By Dell, "You Will Be Getting System In Coming 2 Days / 5 Days / 4 Days / 3 Days

            5) Finally A Strong Comitement From Dell, "You Will Be Getting New System On 29th Of July 2011

            6) On The Basis Of Above Commitment, I Had Planned My Official Tour For 2nd Of Aug 2011 (Which Communicated To dell On Black & White)

            7) Unfortunately Again Committment Failure From Dell, I Received The Laptop On 7th Of Aug 2011 (Cancellation Of AT's Beared By Me)

            8) Hence I Was Without Laptop For More Than 1 Month

            9) After Getting The Replacement I Found Some Major Issues With New Laptop & Same Were Stated On Black N White On 2nd Of Sep 2011

            10) After That It Was Committed That Engg. Will Visit And Replace Some Faulty Parts, I Got Agreed But Unfortunately Again There Was A Commitment Failure And No One Visited For More Than Seven Days

            11) Afterwords I Completely Denied For Repairs

            12) Finally, Priya Came Infront, She Was Handelling The Case Properly (With No Out Put)

            13) Finally She Asked For Pictures The Defects On Mail But I Requested Her To Send Engg. So That He Can Check That Whether Customer Is Lying Or Not But My Proposal Was Not Accepted

            14) Thereafter Pictures Of The Manufacturing Defects Send To Priya, Now What Happens Is Really Shocking, She Called Up And Told Me Send The Clear Video As In Pictures Problem Is Not Clear......!!!

            15) It Was Amazing As Set Is Just One Month Old And They Are Not Even Ready To Send The Engg. To My Place

            16) Finally, Mr. Sowmith Ravindra Came in The Scene, He Has Arranged An Engg. Visit, On 5th He Has Visited And Fond So Many Defects, For Which Priya Has Used A Term "Manufacturing Defects"

            17) Attached Engg. Hand Written Report Says :

            A) LCD Screen Needs To Be Replaced

            B) LCD Bezel Needs To Be Replace

            C) Palm Rest Needs To Be Replace

            D) Keyboard Needs To Be Replace

            E) Bottom Base Needs To Be Replace

            Would Like To Add Engg. Words : He Appreciated The Careful Handelling Of Laptop (Thanks For This......!!!)

            18) After This Priya Called Up On Monday And She Told That She Is Getting Arranged The Spare Parts Which Needs To Be Replace But Now I Am Really Sorry As I Completely Denied For The Same

            19) Then She Suggested Me To Write The Same On Mail That I Do Not Want Repairs, So That Case Can Be Closed

            20) Only After 5 Minutes A Got A Call From Sowmith Ravindra (After 10 Reminders On Email, Might Be He Was Busy With Some Other Urgent Tasks Or Customers) And Really The Response Was Very Good, As He Has Offered Me Repairs And Replacement As Well

            21) When I Asked Sowmith That why Engg. Visit Took 63 Days, He Was Not Having Any Answer Except "Apologies"

            22) When I Raised 2nd Question, That Why Dell Team Was Waiting For Pics Instead Of Enng. Visit For Thorough Inspection, On This He Replied " It's Not A Normal Problem And For These Type Of Issues We Needs Pictures First, I Strongly Appose This Point, If Issue Raised By Customer Is Totally Different Or Never Heard Before Then A Company Should Arrange R&D Officials Visit ASAP

            Lets Move Forward :

            If Engg. would Have Visted On 3rd / 4th / 5th / 6th / 7th / 8th / 9th Of Sep, Then I Hope That Issue Would Have Been Resolved Very Earlier (Without Harassment To The Customer)

            All The Issues Raised By Customer Was Found Genuine And Same Is Written On The Job Sheet Of Dell

            Then Why An Organisation Was Harrassing A Genuine Customer Since 2nd Of Sep ......???

            Please Do Not Treat Customer Complaint As A Game Because It Is Only Customer who Plays A Role Of Revenue In Industry

            Can anyone share with me email ID's of Dell HIgher management to log a complaint regarfding my recent purchased Laptop...I urgently need that.

            Hi Dell Technical Support,

            I am Shefali Gheek, D/o Mr Rakesh Gheek working with Computer Science Corporation (CSC) as a Quality Analyst wants to bring to your notice that I have purchased Dell Laptop Inspiron 14 U560508 N4050 series Service Tag No: D915KP1 from Mr. Amarjeet Singh, owner Arrow’s Elektroworld (115, Priya Enclave Delhi-110092) on 14-dec-2011 Invoice No. 0086/AEW/2011-12 at Rs. 38000 (thirty eight thousand only) via HDFC credit card .

            On 25th Dec 2011 I tried to operate my laptop but it showed me blank screen and didn’t boot at all. I visited the retailer on 26th Dec 2011, M/s Arrow’s Elektro World, I left My laptop with them. After 3 days I went there to collect my laptop but Mr. Amarjeet Singh said there is a big fault in the mother board, a request needs to be raised with Dell Support Services, Motherboard was replaced by Dell Support Service (Delivery Note Number[protected].

            I asked Mr. Amarjeet Singh for an explanation as to how a laptop 10 days old can have severe issue with it’s motherboard, and needs to be replaced. As it had been just 10 days since I had bought my laptop, I requested him to replace the laptop instead of changing its motherboard on which he demanded Rs. 9000. I was left with no other choice but to wait for it to be fixed.

            Next day (29th Dec 2011) when I started doing my work, Windows asked me for reactivation. I tried to reactivate my Windows using the Product ID given at the back of my laptop when I failed to do so, I visited the retailer. I was made to wait for 4.5 hours and behaved rudely to me he said “aapka hard luck hai to mai isme kuch nai kar sakta, pehli baar to mai system bech nai raha”.

            Finally, my laptop was handed over to me with my Windows reactivated.

            Expecting, as the end of issues I resumed work when I observed that Bluetooth of my laptop wasn’t working this time around. I tried to send/ receive files from my laptop’s Bluetooth device but I was not able to successfully pair my laptop and my mobile phone’s Bluetooth.

            Due to retailer’s last time unpleasant, rude behavior, I decided to approach Dell Support Services myself on 10th Jan 2011 (Delivery Note Number[protected]. My call was attended by a Dell representative on 12th Jan 2011 and he replaced the Bluetooth Card of my laptop.

            My laptop AGAIN started showing me Windows Reactivation error later that day. I called Retailer on 13th Jan 2011 for reactivation. Dell Technical Support called me on 15th Dec 2011 to follow up for the call registered/ issue attended by their representative. I was told by Dell Technical Support that my laptop is a product of Thailand and NOT India .

            Dell Technical Support asked me if I have the original Windows CD with me which comes with the laptop, as without it they won’t be of much help to me. I was being suggested to turn towards the retailer.

            I again visited the retailer, waited for 5.5 hours for getting my Windows Reactivation done. Their engineer suggested me to format the Windows and install it afresh. After waiting for so long and getting the work done, I came back home to find out that the same Windows Reactivation error haven’t vanished yet and the same Bluetooth issue has come back to haunt me.

            Finally, using my Service Tag Number – D915KP1 on Dell’s official website, I came to know about the warranty status. (Please Find Attached Screenshot)

            Warranty Start Date is 17/10/2011, whereas I bought my laptop from Mr. Amarjeet Singh, owner Arrow’s Elektroworld (115, Priya Enclave Delhi-110092) on 14-dec-2011 Invoice No. 0086/AEW/2011-12.


            I am surprised to see my laptop’s warranty already started before I even bought it. Isn’t it strange enough?

            There doesn’t seem to be an end to my nightmare with this laptop I purchased. I am totally fed up after buying it and want some answers from Dell to take this ahead. I strongly believe Mr. Amarjeet is bringing bad name to Dell and its customers, the brand which is trusted worldwide.

            I have below mentioned Questions for you to answer to help me understand the situation better:-
            Is it Legal to sell Thailand Product using Indian Invoice?
            Can you please confirm if this laptop is a Grey Market Product and illegally being sold to me with Indian Invoice?
            Is there any chance that Dell can help me know if Mr. Amarjeet Singh, owner Arrow’s Elektroworld (115, Priya Enclave Delhi-110092) is a registered Dell Retailer?

            I am terribly disappointed with the Product being sold to me and retailer’s arrogant behaviour. Above everything he is misrepresenting about the DELL products and cheating the customers.

            And this guy Amarjeet Singh is still selling dell Thailand products here in India, and most probably refurbished ones I know because I purchased a Dell inspiron 15R from him on 24 Feb 2013 Which he bought on 11 jan 2013 from Global Solutions (1997) CO. LTD. and When I came to know that this was a product from thailand and read such reviews about the products sold by dell ( by Amarjeet at Arrow Elektroworld laxmi nagar ) I was afraid to be in situation like that of Shefali and the other guy so I restricted myself only to my old HP desktop which still after 4 years of purchase works just fine.. I was that much affraid that I rarely used it all my projects and work was done on the pc. Only time I used this lappy was when I took it to my college for some presentations and events. I bought the laptop for 49, 000 indian rupee looking forward to have some fun with my new lappy and play some games on it but never tried to install even subway surfer on the system...

            When I bought the laptop i asked them to upgrade win 7 to 8 and Engineer (well they call them Engineers but are as good as an auto mechanic who always install a new windows without looking into the problem) installed a pirated version of win 8. After two days the windows crashed and when I called them he said he'll reinstall the windows but i didn't want pirated again. So I decided to install back my windows 7 and found i was with no recovery dvd which is provided by dell. then I tried to look for the key after removing the battery It was missing too the key was removed from there. But at the point dell service, though took a long time, took me off the problem by sending a recovery dvd and then i got my lappy back to work again but decided not to use it much.

            A friend of mine also bought same laptop from his shop and regretted it later when he used it frequently he ended up getting a new screen and some more defects were troubled out when dell engineer visited his house. I know 7 every laptop can not have manufacturing defect but something is wrong with the seller Mr. Amarjeet Singh

            I am not blaming dell for all this but even after such comments and posts if they don't take any action against him then I surely will...

              I'm so sad that which company I like most for laptop brand is not giving good product,In case of hardware/plastic.Dell is not giving good plastic on Inspiron series laptop because I have bought a laptop in June 2010 when I got my laptop , laptop was creating a noise like something is wondering inside, after some day one of the small plastic piece is came from inside when I removed my battery for a while.But I have ignored this and now My laptop is not opening like new and some another pieces of plastic is came from inside,my lid opening is not working well seems like something is broken inside.
              Now my complete cover warranty is also expired and cannot do anything.I have consulted with dell customer care they says that you have to take warranty back then we can do anything.
              I asked for warranty price they said near about 10000 Rs. and can be extended upto 5 years.By the way I asked that if I will pay 10000 per year I can buy new laptop from this money.
              And my problem is not yet solved, So what I have to do.
              I think that this is not my mistake and this is manufacturing defect.

                    I have purchased Dell-XCD35 on Online shopping from ETREE Marketing Pvt Ltd, Invoice No: 429929 On 30th Sept 2011.

                    I had a problem on Display on the mobile the Auto Rotate Screen was not functioning. Hence I have taken it to the Nearest Dell Authorized Services Center, "Ascentel On Cunningham Road, Bangalore - 560052" On Dated 10/Oct/2011. Since the Mobile was under warranty. They have taken it for Replacement with new device. I kindly request you to provide me an update ASAP, Since every time call Dell Support the call will be routed Dell Telecom Support and after 15-20 mins the call get disconnected without any response. On 31st Oct 2010 I have sent mail to [protected]@dell.com till date no reply..

                    Please considor about my problem and give me a response as soon as possible.

I’ve got in trouble with the product of Dell company which is Dell Mobile XCD-28. the actual problem is after purchasing, i.e, many problems like software not respond, restart automatically, so many times it displays insert sim card and sim card registration fail .this happens so many times in a day because of this I lose my plenty of business calls.i could not understand why does this happen again and again.

                        I have been to dell service centre noida so many times and every time they had given me refurbished handset. This happens 4 times. Every time t I have used refurbished handset but all those handset has the same problem and not work properly.what should I do.                           DELL XPS M1530 — useless service and company

                          I purchased XPS 1530 in U.S with a 9 cell battery and ever since i have had it its been given me problems and my warranty is still Valid... it over heats, the mother board has been replaced the wifi has been replaced also the mouse pad.. the battery only charges to 45 percent and then stops, there is no solution for this apparently.
                          I have spent a lot of time over the phone, talked to several managers, on site and finally personally going to the service center in hyderabad begumpet area where the service is horrible... Dell does not respect or have any customer satisfaction
                          there is always incomplete work... i will never recommend Dell to any one

                            i bought the dell xps-L501x on 2 jan 2011 online directly from
                            dell.since the day i got the it i facing many problems with the
                            product.
                            1.On the very first day of my order delivery i.e. on 14 jan 2011 i
                            found out that there is a red spot on my laptop lcd screen,for that my
                            lcd screen was replaced.
                            2.after some days o[censored]se my USB port stopped functioning,for that
                            mother board was replaced.
                            3.since the problem was not fixed,again the daughter board was replaced.
                            4.now i found out that my laptop does not have physical wi-fi adapter.
                            as well it has some internal problems(like operating system crashes often).

                            the system given to me is overall very defective and thus causing problem every time.this time when i contacted dell,executive asked me to open the system again to fix the problem.opening up the system again and again caused me a lot of trouble as well as ample wastage of time and as a computer science student my time and data is very much precious to me.for every time contacting dell is also a very long time consuming process.


                            within one year three times my laptop parts have been replaced and even now there is no assurance that after expiration of warranty my system will work properly.already my system has been opened thrice by dell team for replacing different parts and i do not want to open it again.due to this my laptop has became very fragile,hardware parts got loose and lifetime of my system is very much degraded.

                            i am very much disappointed of dell computers services and now do not want to continue with dell anymore.i want refund of my money or replacement of the whole system as soon as possible.

                            kindly register this case in consumer forum.i will be very grateful.

                                hi... my name is tenzing and i am staying in Darjeeling. A week before, i ordered a new dell Inspiron 15 R laptop switchable having the configurations said below :-

                                intel core i 5-480 processor
                                Genuine windows [protected]@ Home Basic
                                4 GB ddr3, 500 GB HDD, 1 GB ATI mobility(graphics)
                                15.6" screen wide and 1 year home in service
                                complete cover including bag, adaptor.

                                But 2 days before when it was time for me to go to that shop retailer in Darjeeling here, he showed me the laptop having these configurations:-
                                everything is same but windows are pirated and no switchable lid is there with the product.
                                At that time, i was with my friend at their shop and i refused to buy his product because i was not getting what i ordered. but along with the cheat about the wrong product, they also forced me to go to my home with their 2 men and took the huge amount of Rs 44,400/- for which i can't resist their man power. my parents were not here in my home as they went to Gujarat for sweater business.

                                Overall, I was greatly cheated and forced to pay the amount.

                                    Screen got Cracks : without any physical assault this mobile device developed multiple cracks on the screen. Almost every user got such complaint and on

                                    visiting Dell Service Center( Galleria Market, Gurgaon) , I was very confidently told by executive that device screen broke because of misuse or dropped.

                                    On checking their complaint register it came to my notice every visitor with a Dell streak got the same common complaint and the service center got the

                                    same REPLY for all.
                                    Faulty Hardware/Software : Very unstable hardware, mobile phone restarts while a call is going on. I do face problem while answering Incoming calls, the

                                    screen doesn't get UNLOCKED after multiple attempts. On receiving any call device freezes for 5-8 seconds.

                                    DELL didn't resolve any of my problem, which I was promised while purchasing. Am still living with this faulty DELL STREAK 5.
                                    It has been a lot of frustration being an Owner of such expensive( Rs 25000/-) and faulty mobile device.
                                    Looking for a genuine solution.

Credit Card but he was not agreed. In this regard I want to ask you

                                      1. FOR WHAT REASON I HAD TO WAIT THERE FOR TWO HOURS ?
                                      2. IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO RECEIVE THE AMOUNT THRU. CREDIT CARD THEN WHY YOU DID NOT INTIMATE EARLIER EITHER OVER PHONE OR THRU. MAIL..HE TOLD ME THAT WE HAVE PAY BY DEMAND DRAFT -WHO WILL PAY THE DRAFT CHARGE ?

                                      Dear Sir / Mam,
                                      It is to inform you that I bought a hand set of you xcd28 on 28.04.2011 bearing IMEI No: [protected] having your service tag No:GZHYVN1.
                                      Unfortunately the LCD has broken without sufficient valid reason at our end though the front glass is absolutely OK.ONE FINE MORNING WHEN I WANTED TO START THE PHONE I SAW THAT THERE BROKEN PIECES INSIDE THE GLASS. Probably it was your manufacturing defect for which the hand set has given to your service centre on 30.08.2011 to get it repaired at free of cost as it is within warranty period at your Dell Authorized Service Centre Unit No:51,57 at Park Plaza,Kol-16.
                                      Please do the needful to get it repaired / replaced at free of cost at the earliest possible.
