Dell is not refunding my money since i have esclated this to dell country head.
dell is forcing me to keep this unsealed package with me , however I am not intrested to keep this gadgets and requested them to manufactured a new laptop else refund my money .

Now only I am looking to refund my money and dont want to purchase laptop from dell in future as well .
this company does fraud and never care there customer .

Below is the summary of my issue ,

I had great faith on dell product and there services before purchasing dell laptop. In this competitive market customer satisfaction is big thing.

I purchased dell laptop Inspiron 15 R on 25/05/2011 , the ordered no is[protected].

My laptop J6RMXP1 delivered to me yesterday where I found that laptop package sealed was void , I asked the courier boy and inquired why it opened before handover to me but he was answered less .

Then I called dell infront of him and briefed history to agent , I told him as per rule I am not accepting it as it could be mishandled or purity of parts is big question to me .

I have put my hard earned money to purchase this laptop and it’s my right to get my laptop with genuine parts .

Since this incident happen to me I lost faith on dell and a big questioned is on there services . dell was trying to convinced me to accept the product as they said to me that blue dart (courier company ) reported the incident that packaging sealed is void on laptop .



I have rejected to accept the laptop as sealed was void before handover to me by courier boy . As per dell company itself mentioned on the seal " If find VOID Pls dont accept it " , customer care agent requested me to first accept but when i told them legal expect then they said yes you can reject this and i will request to deliver new manufactured Laptop from company .



My points are :---



I need new manufactured laptop from dell , that’s all . pls don’t waste my or your time to request me to keep the same laptop or validate this in factory for quality check .

Sorry I am strictly oppose to this , kindly deliver new manufactured laptop to me or I shall go to consumer court against this issue .

dell inspiron — No delivery / harassment

I had booked a dell inspiron 15 from retail store of dell by paying through cash on 27th Feb 2010. I got an internet reference no. (IN[protected] on my mail id. which said I'd be given an order no. within next 24 business hours, with the help of which i'll be able to track my order. Even after 4 working days I haven't got any reply from their side. they have no clue as to where my money lies with and and they do not respond to any of my query regarding money. i have been trying to call them all through the day (during my working hours just to match with their timings) And those guys invariably put mye hold for more than 30 mins with no answer until i eventually hang up with no clue as to where my money is.
I called up the retail store even they are as clueless as i am as to where my laptop is or whom does my laptop money lie with. I have the bill of the payment. I now feel like getting cancelling the order and getting my money back but i am wary as they will cancel my order and i'd have to follow up even more to get my money back and end up getting harassed at their hands even though i'd be left with neither money nor laptop.

You should not accept ANY package if the seal is open during delivery.

I am looking for refund, but dell company is not replying since requested to them many times .
I am totally frustrated by dell services, dell is such a big fraud compnay, they never care customer . even they taking so much long time to refund my money, I will suggest dont purchase dell computer /notebook in india .

The discussion we had was not healthy and quite shocked to see how the dell representative speak to customer, there is lack of training provided by dell either, or you behaved such kind of thing . I asked why you harassed your customer and give trouble to innocent customer, Arun replied back that we are legally authorized and if you go to court we could challenge you .

As latha had already confirmed that my refund will be completed by this week but he went one step ahead and now it is for 23 june . I am scared to see this kind of fake communication and intentionally trouble to customer is not a good exercise .

I have waited to refund since long and dell fraud company cheated me since beginning . why dell takes lot of time time to refund money while taking order they just credit amount in few seconds .I ma just lost it now .

there is no one to listen to customer and this worst dell employee degrading company image and its position in big competitive market .its not a big deal to return my money as
I never accept the gadgets from company, they asked me first to wait till dell received gadgets from courier company, i don't know why they put condition though career is chosen by dell itself and courier company confirmed about the incidence .

this incidence is proof of dell company inability to become good competitor and demeaning efforts to trouble innocent customer .

I will make aware other customer about this incidence and I am sure social network members will take it seriously about dell fraud and inability to deliver best as committed.

there must be serious action against dell employee Arun & Latha .

I Manas Yadav bought a new dell laptop on 21 oct 2014 and as per the offer I registered for it for extra 2 yr warranty but no reply was given back from celebrate dellse.

    I have to complain about my laptop. So i have become totally disappointed with laptop and with the service from Dell Service Centre. Here i m describing my all situations...
    I bought my laptop from DELL INDIA PVT. LTD. by making an order online and they delivered it at my diclared destination on 08/03/2011. Till 20 days, i operated it perfectly but after it, a technical problem occured in my laptop (PROBLEM: when i operate any function on it after some time the whole screen becomes totally black and the system makes sound). In the end of the march, i complaint to the DELL TECHNICAL SUPPORT about the technical problem and i asked them to replace it but they said that after diagnosting, we will take action and finally they decided to change HARD DISC. An engineer came from dell centre on 07/04/2011 and changed HD of my laptop. But after one week i still had the same problem again with my laptop and there was no satisfaction at all. During this session, i was preparing my exams so i had a lots of problem and i couldn't study at all. Now again i tried to call to the DELL TECHNICALL SUPPORT to complain and they were disconnecting my call so many times. But finally a person handle my call and i told my all situations again, i said again that person to replace my laptop but he denied and said "your laptop could be replaced within one month from the due date." (here i want to clarify to you that i m not responsible because in the fist complain i had already told them to replace my laptop.) and regarding the second complain, they changed the KEYPAD and HARD DISC of my laptop on 26/04/2011. But after the next three days, still the same problem occured with my laptop. now it was beyond the extreme limit of my patience. after this third event, i didn't make a call to the DELL TECHNICAL SUPPORT due to my B.TECH exams. so now, i think that there is no benefit to call dell service centre.
    So this is all about my situation. Now i request you to take an action against this problem and i want my laptop replaced any how.

      battery back up of my DELL inspiron 15R n5010 LAPTOP is very poor. apprx max be 1 hour
      when i called to DELL customer care, then their representative say that " it is normal,"
      if backup of battery is 1 hour then why Company mention 4 hour backup in menu while purchasing laptop's.
      when i ask about the battery replacement under warranty , then DELL customer care''s representative say that its warranty is over...

      We need to understand battery stand by time and battery back up are two different things .

      Theorrticaly each cell can provide 15 min of back up .
      Hence a 6 cell should provide a back up in a range of 90 min .
      Practicaly there are more thing that can infuence the back up .
      Usage type, application used, number of application used a one point .
      Moreover battery being a consumable comodity would eventualy start giving lesser back .
      Maybe its 4 hour back on idle mode and depending on the system load its about 1hour?

      Moral of the story: Read reviews who do battery tests on both idle and load, especially without those energy saving softwares which basically reduces the clock speed.

          The reason why people buy dell laptops is support incase of issue,

          Nowadays that too not good, It is damn bad,

          Dont buy Dell Laptop ! Dont buy dell laptop !

          one of my keyboard key is not working, i called the support of dell using this toll free no,[protected].

          dell support team asking me to pay to get the premium warranty, & i said no , they gave me a list of softwares to install, though i am in costly 3g plan i downloaded , softwares and checked still no use, and they simply told this problem comes under the external warranty, not under the normal warranty,,

            I taken a Laptop on 23-12-10 delivered on 1-1-11,

            I got problem with Hardware's like DVD specially & Touch pad on[protected]:44:27...
            i objection replacing of DVD of assembly DVD part boz of not working...

            &1) again i got same problem on that Hardware's specially DVD & Touch Pad on 26-5-11...
            2)Max Heat is coming...

            Please arrange to replace the defect Parts as soon as possible...
            Touch pad not working correctly? Is the touchpad software installed? Give it a try again.

            Heat dissipation is a good thing because if the fans dont push hot air away from sensitive components then that is a problem.

              sir ,i ordered new lap on 24th may 2011(purchase ID:[protected],Service tag:804ZRP1) in US .now i got this lap on 24th may 2011. after 2 days of my delivery .my lap is not working properly .i mean wen i turn on my power button there is no display at all .as i attempted to install N5110-A05 driver and aborted that setup by task manager then the system got hang up so i restarted my lap from then onwards as power button is swictched on ,no display in screen and in harddrive there is no flashing even .so i kindly request u to solve this problem as soon as possible it is very very important for me........

I was contact dell customer representative, they send me bios setting , I installed new bios but problem is as it. Again I send mail to customer care representative but no response from Dell side.....Our Laptop under warranty period. Please take immediate and necessary action please.

                    recently bought dell inspiron 1545 laptop how much time i need to charge battery?
                    MY DELL INSPIRON 1545 WILL NOT CHARGING SINCE ONE MONTH. AND WHAT,S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INSPIRON 1525 AND 1545. PLZ KINDLY HELP US.........
                    Hi all,
                    i bought dell inspiron 1545, the battery is giving backup of only 30 min., the battery is facing this problem exactly after the warranty period, I even purchased their warranty extension for 1 year for 5K , and they are also not replacing the battery. this is pathetic . cheated by dell 2 times .
                    i called dell technical support and after 15 min. of waiting was able to talk to the person, i explained my battery problem and she was giving excuses that the battery can't be replaced after 1 year. than asked her to connect me to her manager , Mr. JASPAL. he was also not ready to listen o this issue and giving excuses that battery is not replaced after 1 year( though it is 1 month only after 1 year completion and battery life is below 30 min.). i decided to give negative referrals to all the person who i know about dell. please people who are considering to purchase laptops refrain from purchasing dell.

                          Dell Vostro new Laptop service tag: 4RCQBN1 (10 months old) Complaints - Poor Product Quality & Service Support from Dell India – unable to start / boot
                          1. I bought a Dell Inspiron laptop last year in India (Aug 2010) at Hyderabad.

                          2. The laptop stopped functioning (did not get start/boot) since 01 May 11, then i made several calls to tech support team but there is no response from them.

                          With the current situation I wrote numerous e-mails and also called to the Dell technical staff but was of no use. I even wasted several amount of time, money and peace of my mind . Every time I called the phone was getting picked up by an automated answering m/c I was charged but could not get anybody and the phone got automatically disconnected.


                          I had bought this laptop with the assurance of coverage of International warranty & service support from Dell and also considering it as one of the best companies offering world class products and services but it has miserably failed on the both the fronts:
                          1. Product Quality: I strongly believe that the piece delivered to me is a defective one right from the day one as same problem (did not get start/boot) I am facing in less than three months
                          2. Service Quality: is miserable and the staff response is just pathetic .

                            I bought a Dell Laptop on 12th June'2010 from Fast Track Computing Limited, Chandigarh, an authorized dealer of Dell Laptops.
                            Service Tag: 48629M1

                            I brought it to Gurgaon, where I am currently residing. I faced some problems with my laptop and took it to Dell Service Center twice last year where it was duly repaired. On Saturday, 14th May , I visited the same service center again but I was informed that the laptop will not be repaired here as it was not a Indian Laptop but is bought from Thailand. I was told that I should ask the dealer to change it as it will not get repaired from anywhere in India according to the the changed policies of Dell.
                            I told the same to dealer who is refusing to do anything about it.

                            I request the company to please help me as I feel like a cheated customer who is not even getting service for the laptop I have paid for.

Charger of this laptop is not functioning. Warranty of this product is going to be ceased today the July 3rd 2011. Efforts have been made to complaint on No [protected] and [protected] but it was found that timing for complaint is Monday to Friday. Please replace the charger of the laptop.

                                I don't know if it was my badluck that my laptop stopped booting or it was because i was having a Dell Studio 1558. I have been calling Dell support since past 3 days. And all they do is transfer me to n no. of people and then they disconnect the call knowing that when i would call again the same person would not pick the call. they're pretty smart. But is this Fair??? 3 days , laptop not working, so many calls to them, wasted hundreds of rupeees on just these STD calls and laptop is still under warrenty. They can't even send a technician over to my place and fix up the Issue.. This is in protest to DELL SUPPORT, that i won't be sitting silent. And this is jus tthe beginning..

                                    hello,

                                    This is rutvik here, i am using dell INSPIRON 6400 from past 5 years and hadnt had a single problem untill recently the display of the laptop is not working. I had connected it to the projector at college to give a seminar there it didnt work, later the display was working only in LCD mode. but i switched off the laptop and again switched it on and was working fine for couple of days. After that the display is completly gone and i have to press LCD/CRT function key to get the display, which is very dim and even i am not able to adjust the brightness of the screen. also the screen come only 3/4th of the full display. please kindly recommend what i need to do for the this problem.

                                    Dell Inspiron 6400 — No Support

                                    I extended the warranty of my laptop and it is till 9 sep 2012. when they approached me for warranty extension, they said it is covered till sep so i paid the entire amount. but now they are not providing me the service saying that they provide service for 5 years only. it is a mental harassment and it has affected my work so much.

                                      1. I purchased a Dell brand STUDIO-15 Laptop in the month of September 2009, Tag No. 22TY3BS. In Oct 2010, one day the battery of my laptop suddenly quits off. Before it stopped working completely it used to give me about 2.5 hours of backup. From the month of Oct 2010, the battery does not charge when connected to the system with the AC adapter. The system will only function with the AC adapter attached. The system will not function on battery alone.

                                      2. As the warranty was only for 1 year, so nobody at Dell (Call Center and all serice stations) is actually listening. They only have one standard statement, "If it is out of Warranty, You have to buy a new battery).

                                      3. In few of the forums I saw that lots of customers had similar complaint with this series of Dell Laptops. I doubt like others if they have pre-programmed that the battery will stop working after the warranty of 1 year gets expired. Obviously Dell does not sell laptops saying that the Battery will not last for even 2 years. It is not about Warranty not active, but the real issue is the product has to function properly even after warranty. Nobody would buy a laptop if we need to invest on battery every 14-16 months.

                                      I also have the same problem. I bought my studio15 on Nov 2011. The battery life was so-so initially i[censored] r gaming on it, and after 6 months or so it was around 30min gaming and 1hr non gaming.. now after 20 months it hardly gives 20 mins browsing and prolly 5 mins gaming. I didnt call the customer care as i knew what they will tell, so didnt bother to spend time and efforts.. A totally crappy battery for a otherwise great product which matched all my expectations. Now i am considering a replacement..will probably get a 9cell one this time
                                      EDIT: I bought on Nov 2009 and not 2011

                                        I have online purchased my 2nd dell laptop in Nov'2010. From the starting only it's battery backup has been very poor, nearly 1hr in a 6cell lithium battery. I contacted dell & then one battery was replaced but the battery backup is still very poor which is again 1hr nearly.

                                        I am fed up with this battery problem kindly replace a good battery this time.

                                        dell inspiron n5010 — Poorest service ever

                                        Its been nearly 20-22 days my laptop isnt working.. I called up customer service.. They don even transfer my call to the respective executive. Within 3 months the hard drive got corrupted, the CD ROM isnt working. I am highly pissed off with this kind of response. If you arent able to give service to the customer, dont claim you do so.

                                        I would want to get my laptop replaced if it doesnt get treated now.
