Sales person listed Blu-Ray fun bundle in my quote and once I placed my orde he removed that Item from the list. I raised complaint through email immidiately after placing order. He replied through email that I will receive fun bundle with order for sure.

I received my two laptops and fun bundles are not there. Now customer care/sales person are not ready to deliver the fun bundle. Before one week they agreed to deliver fun bundle 7-8 working days but now again they are saying that they will not deliver the fun bundle. Please find below email from your customer care executive. You know very well that each blue ray dvd cost is around 1000rs. I didnt receive 5*2laptops = 10 dvds so think they haven't delivered around 10,000rs cost items. I would say this is fraud, first your sales person attracted me for Blue ray disk because I will get Adventure and fund bundle wiht blue ray disk and now he hasnt delivered blue ray disks...If you want I can send my quote which has fun bundle listed in the item list.

    I purchased dell laptop in april 2011, since then im facing freezing problems in the laptop till now. Right now its june 2011. I showed my laptop to dell service centre, their technical support team. All the time, they ask for formatting the windows and i have done that twice. But, still there is no problem. They are not able to diagnose what is the fault. Each time, calling them and visiting their service center is irritating.

    Dell Laptop — Bad Piece and Bad after sales service

    I bought a DELL INSPIRON 1525 form computer world showroom of Kanpur 2 months ago having warranty of 1 year. But just AFTER 1 MONTH it started facing problems, and now its totally dead. I laid a complaint at dell via their toll free no. an engineer visited with replacement of motherboard but was unable to sort out the problem,
    again i logged a complaint, they assured me quick and best service but company is not giving any response, moreover 10 days are passed. Even i requested for replacement of the piece but they totally denied. My service tag no. is 7prb2bs. kindly help me!!!

    I have purchased a dell laptop MODEL NUMBER-1545/3GB/250/BLUE, SL.NO-J7C83BS.the shop vendor told us that the anti-virus McAfee has 15 months but now a days the McAfee has sent us the email that your subscription will expire on 13.06.09.From last 7 days we are trying to call dell customer care TOLL FREE NUMBER-[protected] but they are not responding.So, I request to you kindly consider this probllem and solve as soon as possiible.

    dell inspiron1525 — theft while boarding bus

    my dell inspiron 1525 notebook has been stolen while i was boarding a govt. bus at vadodara city in gujrat.i m persuing engineering from electronics and being a student the incident came as a big blow.i have launched a FIR.and the matter is being looked into by police and media,as in gujrat crime is being seriously taken.i sincerely hope that i won't be able to get my system without dell's help so kindly look into the matter with high priority and do the needful.my laptops tag no. is "DJ1G2BS".FIR NO.- I 331/09

      I am Nikita. I am really disappointed with Dell Laptop. First it crashed. The Service centre replaced the hard-disk. That turned out to be faulty as I got blue screen error and my computer was unexpectedly shutting down. RAM and hard-disk was replaced again. I want my laptop to be replaced. I have had enough with Dell for last 3 weeks.
      myself vineet agarawl , purchased STUDIO 1435 model from dell india pvt. ltd.. from the day i purchased this laptop its not working fine.. even the company has replaced the motherboard 3 times , RAM 2 times , the optical is replaced 3 times , lcd screen is also replaced 3-4 times , battery is replaced ... but the problem is still same.... the company only replace the parts.. without any soluton of the laptop.., now i m fed up of these foolish things and i want MY MONEY BACK OR A NEW LAPTOP ,

      I have purchased a DELL laptop and its not working properly.My laptop is in warranty period and it is having a hardware problem. DELL has ensured me that for any hardware problem they will be coming at home and solve the problem but now they are saying that, I will have to come to Lucknow to repair my laptop.Its customer care number is [protected]

        Hi,



        I own an Inspiron N4010 Laptop(Ser Tag: 1CH66BS), But intermittently Iam facing some serious issues on that.....



        After one month from the purchase I was facing an issue like system stuck.(I won' be able to even end task- only way I should do a force



        shutdown to get back to the old stage)



        Initially I registered Complaint in Online support they provided me some tips.that didn't work.



        So I took lap to the Service centre The said it is a OS issue. They were not ready to accept



        the laptop even for OS change also... The reason They said , The laptop I purchase without OS.



        So they will not be able to do the service on That.... How ever it is a product from Dell(Whether with OS or without OS) at least they could



        have do some testing.



        Then after few months I approached dell support again for the same issue....



        The given me updated graphics driver link and BIOS link... I did all that installation and update



        Then the stuck issue have solved for few weeks....



        Then it was started to give blue screen error every day twice or thrice



        Again I contacted to dell support team, they made me on hold few min and



        they transferred the call two or three sections... finally the call got disconnected.. After



        that I was keep on calling to your tall free number there was no reply from the dell team



        my warranty is going to expire within few months.. I heard that dell is best for after sale service.



        So I preferred to go with dell.



        But now I am not satisfied with my laptop... I don' think that dell want their customer to be unhappy ...



        So I am looking forward for your positive support ASAP ie, permanent solution from the problem which i am facing........

          I have purchase laptop from dell india site
          they promised 21days replacement said by the sale person that
          '''i[censored] do not like dell laptop you can replace the dell laptop without
          any cost wein 21 days u can replcae it''' .... ''amount will be replace to''' .........
          and they said that the 2 nd genration laptop will cost u 6000 to 8000 extra.......
          and it will come only for xps laptop only not for inspiron laptop ........
          but i chek in internet about the 2 nd genration laptop but only 1500rs extra
          and i firkedout when i saw in internet............

          I am a regular customer of dell, I have purchased 2 Laptops
          already, this is the 3rd laptop i am purchasing. I am very sorry to
          say that the service very poor...
          they promised me that there will be replace laptop .
          "Pathetic, Non abiance for Commitment, poor service"
          and i given the complain to the dell coustomer care....
          but no replay ......Poor Service and Dissatisfaction

          Dear sir,

          Undersigned had purchase laptop of Dell in Last June, 2010 from Vijay Sales Prabhadevi, But my charger is not working since last one month. I had visited to Vijay Sales in Prabhadevi but they told that Dell will visit to your home and will rectify the problem. But till date nobody visited to my home and I am unable to serarch the dell complaint book.

            I bought the Inspiron 14R with 1 GB of ATI graphics three months ago. Th service tag for my purchased system is: DTBN6BS

            Since the very first week i have been facing problems with total freezing and crashing of the laptop. Dell support identified it as a hard disk defect and replaced the hard disk.

            But even after that my laptop continueed to freeze frequently and unexpectedly. Dell support then identified it as a motherboard issue and offered to replace the motherboard.

            I asked Dell to replace my laptop as it was a brand new purchase with defects. Since making the request i have received absolutely no response from Dell. I have tried communicating to them in every possible way, but they are just not responding.

            For past three months i am stuck with a malfunctioning laptop and Dell is doing nothing about it. I am highly disappointed with Dell support and service. Also, I now know that this is a common problem with Inspiron laptops. Dell has been shipping these faulty laptops since last one year and has still not done any quality control for the same.

            INSPIRON 14 — Replacement of Faulty Piece

            I had purchased "Inspiron 14" in june & got the delivery on 11 July. The piece was faulty & had complained the same to DELL customer care. Customer care executive assured that the piece will be replaced & gave me complain number as 2290811. he also gave a commitment that i will be getting a call in 7 days to discuss the details & process of replacement. After 7 days also i had not received any call from DELL & now i am trying to call the customer care but they are just transferring the call to different departments & i am not getting proper response. Now i want to take legal action against the company. Can somebody help me as how to go further.

              haare laptop me hitting issue ke bare me hamne laptop purchess karne ke turant 3 month me hi dell walo ko bata diya unhone hamare yaha three time technical support team ko bhijwa kar 3 time motherbord & 3 times hitsing fan bhi change karwa diya hai, fir bhi issue solve nahi huva hamne unse kai bar refund ke liye request ki lekin unhone abhi tak system collect nahi kiya,
              jab tak system collect nahi karenge tab tak refund to milne se raha.
              un ke sath jo bhi bat huva hai uska detail sath me bhej rahe hai---

              system me hitting issue hai.

              us se related first complaint dt.04/11/2010 ko aap ke technical support department me phone se ki hai.
              aur uske bad bhi KARIB 15 se 20 BAR (jiska date wise detail hamare pas bhi hai)HAMNE AAP KE YAHA CALL KAR KE HAAMARI COMPLAINT DI HAI,
              us unusar aap ki technical support ke bande ne dt.19-03-11 ko first time aa kar mother board & hitsing fan change kiya gaya ,
              lekin problem solve nahi huva,
              technical support ke bande ne jo repair order form no. 41522 dt.19-03-11 per bhi likh ke diya hai ki hitting is continued.
              (repair order form no. 41522 dt.19-03-11 ka scan copy dt.26-03-11 ko himanshu taneja ko e-mail bhi kiya huva hai)
              jiske bare me dt.23-03-11 ko aapke yaha pe call kar ke mr. rohit ko bata ya hai unhone bios ka link bheja use bhi hamne update kiya ,
              lekin fir bhi hitting problem solve nahi huva, technical support ke bande ne dt.07-04-11 ko second time aa kar fir se mother board & hitsing fan change kiya gaya hai,
              lekin problem solve nahi huva,
              technical support ke bande ne repair order form no. 41533 dt.07-04-11 per bhi likh ke diya hai ki hiting is continue.
              uski complaint fir se hamne dt.14/4/11 ko aapke yaha call par ki us call par mr. amit(sinior technical assistant) ne hamco kaha ki mere kahne pe phir se aap mother board & hitsing fan change kijiye jis ke bad hiting issue khatma ho jayega. agar hiting issue fir bhi khatma nahi hota hai to company system change kar ke deyegi.
              jiske liye ham ready nahi the fir bhi hamne unki bat mante huve kaha ki aap ke bande ko bhej dijiye.
              technical support ke bande mr. pawan from dhuliya ne dt.25-04-11 ko third time aa kar fir se mother board & hitsing fan change kiya gaya hai, karib 10 se 15 minute me hi system hit ho gaya,jiske bare me
              technical support ke bande ne jo repair order form no. 52628 dt.25-04-11 per bhi likh ke diya hai ki hiting is continue.
              is bare me hamne customer care me call karnr ki koshish ki lekin call laga nahi.
              dt..26-04-11 ko mr. sandip ka call aaya unhone kaha ki aap ke system ka hitting problem solve ho chuka hai aisa mr. pawan ne report ki hai,
              hum use dinoy karte huve hamne mr. pawan ki aur se diye gaye repair order form no.52628 dt. 25-04-11 ki scan copy dt.[protected].00pm ko mail ki jis pe mr. pawan ne clear likha huva hai ki hitting issue continued.
              aur sath me hamara payment wapas refund ke liye bhi likha hai.us din ka complaint no.6924001 hai.
              dt.27-04-11 ko mr. sandip ne hame call ki jisme yeh intimetion di gayee ki hamara issue DELL ASCULATION TEAM ke taraf transfer kiya gaya hai, aage se woh team issue final karegi.
              dt. 03-05-11 & 06-05-11 ko mr. harish ka phone aaya payment refund ke liye company ready hai kaha,
              lekin uske pahle system company ko handover karna padega ,
              hamne unko yeh option bhi diya ki hame aap system change kar ke de dijiye to bhi chalega ,
              lekin unhone hame mana kar diya,
              unhone kaha ki hame company ke system se hi chalna padega.
              uske liye kuch paper pe sign karke chahiye us paper ko e-mail karenge,
              hamne us paper ko sign karke scan copy dt.26/05/11 ko mr. harsh marappa (senior support resolver) ko mail bhi kar di hai.
              uske bad bhi hame mr. harsh marappa (senior support resolver)ki aur se koi call ya mail nahi mila.
              uske bad hamne hi dt.06-06-11 ko aap ke yaha call kiya mrs. Rajeshwari se bat huva unhone karib 18.45minutes tak hame call par rakha. aur kaha ki next 7 working days me system collect karenge.
              lekin aapki taraf se kuch bhi prosses nahi huva,
              fir se hamne hi dt.15-06-11 ko aap ke yaha call kar ke status samazhne ki koshish ki mr. gaurav se bat huva unhone phone inspirion department me phone transfer kiya waha pe mrs. chitra se bat huva unhone bhi next 1-2 hours me callback karenge kaha kar phone cut kiya, lekin aap ki taraf se koi call nahi aaya.
              dt.16-06-11 ko phir se hamne hi aap ke yaha call ki mr. dhiraj arora se bat huva unhone karib 24 minutes tak hold per rakhne ke bad refund team ke pas transfer kiya case no.6974589 waha pe mrs. jyati se bat huva unhone phir se technical team ke pa call transfer kiya,
              waha par mr. ruben se bat huva unhone phirse inspirion department me phone transfer kiya unhone bhi fir se technical team ke pas phone transfer kiya unhone bhi customer care me call transfer ki jisme hame yah bataya gaya ki aapko kal tak logistic department ki taraf se call aayegi. ye sari call karib 41.50 minutes tak chali hai.

              jab se hamne aap ko system wapas le kar hamara refund claim kiya hai tab se hame aap ke sabhi department se hame niglet kiya ja raha hai.
              kya hamne DELL company pe bharosa kiya yeh hamari galti hai ?

              agar aap hame hamare system ke badle me dusra system replace kar ke dete hai to hame koi shikayat nahi, uske liye koi charges hai to woh ham paid karne ke liye agreed hai.

                Dear Sir,

                My name is A.V.G.Rao, I am working as Section Officer in Indian
                Railways, posted in New Delhi. I had very bad experience while booking
                your product. I was totally bluffed by your sale representative. I am
                giving total my interaction eith your authorised representative.

                On 07/06/2011 I called your common booking tele number to book my
                order. I was connected to one Sales representative named Mr. Chahat
                Ahuja. He told me if I will pay by credit card my product will be
                delivered by 12/06/2011. I went for payment through Net banking i.e.
                EFT from my Axis Bank account. The representative told me that as I
                have paid by EFT it will be late to realise money so it is tough to
                deliver by 12/06/2011, but I will try to get it delivered by Monady. I
                told him I am going out of New Delhi on 19/06/2011. He laughed and
                said it will be delivered much before.

                When I called him in the morning of 13/06/2011, he said it will be
                delivered tomorrrow, he again cheated me. Then I called your customer
                care and one Female executive named Mis Aruna attended me and said it
                will be delivered by 20/06/2011, that means this Sales executive again
                cheated me.

                Today at 11 am Blue dart people came for delivery, when I checked that
                name on packet is different then he excused me and went back to bring
                my packet. Now I am amazed to see that the seal is broken this
                delivery boy inssisted to take the delivery. I refused to take
                delivery of opened packet.
                Now I feel offended with this kind of service, so please cancell my
                order as I lost trust in your product and in your organisation. Please
                refund my money.

                  DELL VOSTRO 1015 LAPTOP — No listening of my problem

                  I bought dell laptop on 29 january 2010, so its warranty was expired on 29 jan 2011, I have bill also. I got some problem on laptop, I complain regarding this on 12 january 2011. They listen and assured me to replace the part. Regarding problem I was in touch with mails with tech support officer. But it was more than 1 and half month, there was no reply from that tech support officer. I have all mail records also. But now dell are saying the warranty date is expired, now no replacement would be done. They told me that Why I didnt call them. But as I said earlier i was in touch with mail.
                  I purchased dell because of its service but they are fail to provid that. Then why people should buy dell.

                    I have DELL Inspiron 1420 with the defective NVIDIA graphic card 8400. The good news is that Dell have acknowledged the defect in your laptop and that can be found here:-

                    I purchased on Aug 26th 2008. It failed on April 21st 2011. Not When I called Dell customer care, they are telling that they cant replace it.. But DELL has supplied defective card, at least they should inform us with mails or phone. They dint do anything and now when I ask, they are not providing the right help.

                    DELL INSPIRON 1420 — No customer and product service.

                    I have a dell 1420 inspiron. My Laptop got some problem in its motherboard or hard disk.
                    I called to customer support she connect me to its Technical person.
                    He performs all tests by me. He tell me to open the Laptop, I ask him if there come some fault on opening the laptop who is responsible for this then the person say we are not responsible for this.
                    After the he conclude your hard disk is crash but my engineer come check it again and charged for 1261 rupees.
                    That time my laptop is in warranty period.
                    I say never buy Dell products.
                    Say No to Dell.
                    No support no service.
                    When you buy their product every time they call you.
                    After That they never.
                    I agree. Bad customer service.

                    Dell Inspiron 1420 — Bad Response from Service Center

                    This is extremely pathetic that Dell a major hardware appliance assembler is not capable of handling simple complaints. I recently had an issue where my laptop was not charging and I asked the Dell center to send me a technical representative to figure out what the issue is. This person who I believe was a student learning hardware did not find out what the issue was and left the place telling me to sign his visit sheet (which I should not have. Do not sign this unless you are satisfied!!!) and told me that he would send another technical representative. After that not a word from Dell till I give them a call. To make a long story short I talked with the following people for extremely long periods of time without any feedback:

                    They told me that there would be no refund on the technical support guy as well as no adapters (which I diagnosed as the issue) unless I purchase a warantee. This is nothing but daylight robbery as they will not go forward unless I go ahead and do everythin they (people @ Dell) say. Somebody has to look into this issue ASAP.
                    I have had the same problem with my Dell inspiron 1420. It was not until a couple of days ago that i stumbled on a post which made me aware of the defective nvidia chips shipped by Dell.
                    This by no means should be acceptable. My system went down 2 years after i bought it. This was bound to happen sooner or later given the defective Card and all the overheating!
                    I will be pursuing this case strongly. People tend to get away rather too easily in India with such incidents!
                    People have managed to get their motherboards replaced.

                    Dell India — Dell 2 tb hard diak not working.

                    Recently bought Dell 2tb hard disk. It was working fine till a few days back. But now whenever I plug it into the laptop the laptop doesn't recognize it and doesn't displays it's icon. As a reault I am not able to access the contents of it.

                      The heat transfer from processor is very poor. The core temperature goes to 98 degree celsius. It may burn out the motherboard any time. The processor is at center of the motherboard, the processor is connected with a copper metal to the heatshrink to which fan is connected. The fan is at left side with heatshrink. The copper metal transfer the insufficiant heat to the heatshrink. The fan does not cooling the processor directly, as the processor is connected to the heatshink with the copper metal with a distance 4 inch in length. If motherboard or processor will burn out, may be after warranty period, then what I will do at that moment. The design fault is made by the company, but I will be sufferer.

                        i bought a dell streak phone from delhi in may... now m at nagpur.. it has problem with sound.. no sound in calls.. cant talk therefore. i at DEll Service center, nagpur contacted the person and asked for replacement of handset due to this hardware problem. but i dont get proper response. i cant use the phone at all and facing acute problem.

                          Self had purchased Laptop from DELL with Service tag 4WKZ6BS. Laptop had laminations on the LCD display and the hinge locations.Suprisingly when laminations were removed after 4months of delivery it was observed that one of the hinges for the LCD screen is broken. The same was intimated to DELL customer care many times and they say that the laptop do not have hardware warranty and requesting me to pay extra money for their quality issue. Also laptop had issue of badsectors and laptop was getting heated very frequently. This issue was resolved by local service center during May-2011.
                          I am totally surprised and doubt about DELL that do they really have quality systems now......

                          These are your details of the system. As of the time of writing this comment, 102 days of warranty is left.

                          I am surprised that so many problems came only after removing the "lamination". Next time always inspect anything for physical damage, be it new or sealed. Its not really going an extra mile but if a damage is located the issue would have been solved then and there.

                          After 4 months, anyone (not just dell) can assume that you might have damaged it and hence you're finding a way to replace it. Again, not that I am necessarily accusing you, but hey! You didn't do the needful. Irrespective of the brand or via whomever you're buying from- ALWAYS CHECK THE GOODS BEFORE ACCEPTING IT.

                          Put up a complaint on facebook.com/dell-india. A personnel called Tulsi will try to resolve your issue (although chances are extremely high that they will deem it as damage by user). If they don't help you- there's a lesson to be learnt from your end. If they do help you- count your luck. Do thank them if they do so.

                            I bought Dell Inspiron 6 months ago, ordered it online from their HO located at Bangalore. Before buying the laptop , the sales person was going crazy following up with me & promised me a onsite service for a period of one year.

                            Within 6 months , my laptop started giving me a problem. Machine used to freeze up & fan started working very fast with a very loud noise . In this situation nothing works ( not even ctrl+ Alt+ Del) & i m left with no other option except switching off the machine from on/off button.

                            Dell Customer Care works only monday to friday ( 9am-6pm). So , practically they think that their products should be bought by housewives / unemployed people.

                            I called their Customer care at least 6 times.These people do not give their mobile numbers &say either call up on toll free number or send a email & they would call back.If you call up on centralized number you will have to explain ur problem to a new person every time you call.

                            I sent them a email 4 times , even then no one called back !!!

                            Pls note, They would also refuse to turn up at ur place for the service , stating that they will only give a remote assistance & will visit ur place in case a part needs to be replaced.

                            After fighting for long , when i found that nothng will happen i agreed but even then no one has called back till date.

                            Dell is the most pathetic product that you can ever think of buying. Their poducts start troubling you within 6 months & you would not get a After Sale Service also despite of being promised.

                            So , better beware before buying a Dell Product.

                            DELL — no response from customer care

                            Just because they operate between monday to friday only it doesn't mean that their products is usually bought by housewives/unemployed people.

                            Other than field sales agents, no1 gives their cellphone numbers. Do not confuse Dell phone sales team with your insurance agent.

                            In today's era on one hand we talk about customer being the King & on the other hand such pathetic customer services are provided to the users. I never said that customer service for Dell should be 24*7..We all are educated enough to understand that services like Telecom / Airlines / Information Centers operate 24*7... However i strongly feel that a company like Dell could provide service on Saturdays & on weekdays till 8:00 pm at least.

                            Even if the technical engg do not give their mobile numbers they should be prompt enough to call back once a email is sent & if you do not get a call even after sending 3 emails in a row, getting annoyed is quite justified.

                            if Airtel, having a subscriber base of over 150 Mn, can start with a call back service, i m sure a company like Dell with limited user base can start with a Customer service operating till 8:00 pm & working on Saturdays as well.

                            A customer lost once is a customer lost forever...
                            That I'll agree. Hardware scene in India has a very long way to go but some o[censored]s do our 2 cents to improve it. Besides, they're more like technicians rather than engineers.

                              I have bought my dell studio 1558 on November 2010. After a month my turbo boost was stop working. Since i was busy with my studies, i didnt give much importance to tat. after tat when i contacted them , they told me to reinstall the drivers and OS too. i did it.. but still it didnt work. when i came back home on Holidays on JUNE 1. i contacted them. They were connecting to my Laptop through Internet, tried their best to resolve it.. my processor i5 450m has 2.4ghz normal mode and 2.[protected]@ turbo mode. i was contacting them daily and explain the problem each time. But atlast supervisor talk to me. They were trying to avoid this problem by saying tat it will work only when i installed heavy software. still now they did give the solution. i asked i have paid for tat laptop so tat they should replace it because i didnt get the required output. but they turn it down and cut the call. i need a solution for my laptop. It is still has warranty... they dont the value of the money! :'(

                                  i would like to kindly bring to your notice that i purchased a Dell Inspiron 15R core i5 on october 2010. It was working fine untill a few months back when my system suddenly crashed. I turned it back on and after a system restore procedure it started working again. but shortly after it crashed again and repetitive attempts at turning it on could not get it started again. i left it that way and later started it again. Windows did load but the desktop seemed to have been corrupt somehow. Anyways i restarted it again and this time it all worked out properly. But after this event my laptop kept crashing on several occassions, sometimes it simply failed to start. A few of my softwares became corrupted and i had to uninstall them. I reinstalled them later on but they didn't work even then. Recently my antivirus (McAfee Security Center) stopped working. It failed to scan any component of the system.
                                  I am at a loss here. I had purchased Dell hoping it to be one of the very best in laptop manufacturing companies but such problems has shriveled such hopes. My laptop is still under warranty and i would like to have these problems sorted out.

                                    Dell is not refunding my money since i have esclated this to dell country head.
                                    dell is forcing me to keep this unsealed package with me , however I am not intrested to keep this gadgets and requested them to manufactured a new laptop else refund my money .

                                    Now only I am looking to refund my money and dont want to purchase laptop from dell in future as well .
                                    this company does fraud and never care there customer .

                                    Below is the summary of my issue ,

                                    I had great faith on dell product and there services before purchasing dell laptop. In this competitive market customer satisfaction is big thing.

                                    I purchased dell laptop Inspiron 15 R on 25/05/2011 , the ordered no is[protected].

                                    My laptop J6RMXP1 delivered to me yesterday where I found that laptop package sealed was void , I asked the courier boy and inquired why it opened before handover to me but he was answered less .

                                    Then I called dell infront of him and briefed history to agent , I told him as per rule I am not accepting it as it could be mishandled or purity of parts is big question to me .

                                    I have put my hard earned money to purchase this laptop and it’s my right to get my laptop with genuine parts .

                                    Since this incident happen to me I lost faith on dell and a big questioned is on there services . dell was trying to convinced me to accept the product as they said to me that blue dart (courier company ) reported the incident that packaging sealed is void on laptop .



                                    I have rejected to accept the laptop as sealed was void before handover to me by courier boy . As per dell company itself mentioned on the seal " If find VOID Pls dont accept it " , customer care agent requested me to first accept but when i told them legal expect then they said yes you can reject this and i will request to deliver new manufactured Laptop from company .



                                    My points are :---



                                    I need new manufactured laptop from dell , that’s all . pls don’t waste my or your time to request me to keep the same laptop or validate this in factory for quality check .

                                    Sorry I am strictly oppose to this , kindly deliver new manufactured laptop to me or I shall go to consumer court against this issue .

                                    dell inspiron — No delivery / harassment

                                    I had booked a dell inspiron 15 from retail store of dell by paying through cash on 27th Feb 2010. I got an internet reference no. (IN[protected] on my mail id. which said I'd be given an order no. within next 24 business hours, with the help of which i'll be able to track my order. Even after 4 working days I haven't got any reply from their side. they have no clue as to where my money lies with and and they do not respond to any of my query regarding money. i have been trying to call them all through the day (during my working hours just to match with their timings) And those guys invariably put mye hold for more than 30 mins with no answer until i eventually hang up with no clue as to where my money is.
                                    I called up the retail store even they are as clueless as i am as to where my laptop is or whom does my laptop money lie with. I have the bill of the payment. I now feel like getting cancelling the order and getting my money back but i am wary as they will cancel my order and i'd have to follow up even more to get my money back and end up getting harassed at their hands even though i'd be left with neither money nor laptop.

                                    The discussion we had was not healthy and quite shocked to see how the dell representative speak to customer, there is lack of training provided by dell either, or you behaved such kind of thing . I asked why you harassed your customer and give trouble to innocent customer, Arun replied back that we are legally authorized and if you go to court we could challenge you .

                                    As latha had already confirmed that my refund will be completed by this week but he went one step ahead and now it is for 23 june . I am scared to see this kind of fake communication and intentionally trouble to customer is not a good exercise .

                                    I have waited to refund since long and dell fraud company cheated me since beginning . why dell takes lot of time time to refund money while taking order they just credit amount in few seconds .I ma just lost it now .

                                      I have to complain about my laptop. So i have become totally disappointed with laptop and with the service from Dell Service Centre. Here i m describing my all situations...
                                      I bought my laptop from DELL INDIA PVT. LTD. by making an order online and they delivered it at my diclared destination on 08/03/2011. Till 20 days, i operated it perfectly but after it, a technical problem occured in my laptop (PROBLEM: when i operate any function on it after some time the whole screen becomes totally black and the system makes sound). In the end of the march, i complaint to the DELL TECHNICAL SUPPORT about the technical problem and i asked them to replace it but they said that after diagnosting, we will take action and finally they decided to change HARD DISC. An engineer came from dell centre on 07/04/2011 and changed HD of my laptop. But after one week i still had the same problem again with my laptop and there was no satisfaction at all. During this session, i was preparing my exams so i had a lots of problem and i couldn't study at all. Now again i tried to call to the DELL TECHNICALL SUPPORT to complain and they were disconnecting my call so many times. But finally a person handle my call and i told my all situations again, i said again that person to replace my laptop but he denied and said "your laptop could be replaced within one month from the due date." (here i want to clarify to you that i m not responsible because in the fist complain i had already told them to replace my laptop.) and regarding the second complain, they changed the KEYPAD and HARD DISC of my laptop on 26/04/2011. But after the next three days, still the same problem occured with my laptop. now it was beyond the extreme limit of my patience. after this third event, i didn't make a call to the DELL TECHNICAL SUPPORT due to my B.TECH exams. so now, i think that there is no benefit to call dell service centre.
                                      So this is all about my situation. Now i request you to take an action against this problem and i want my laptop replaced any how.

                                        We need to understand battery stand by time and battery back up are two different things .

                                        Theorrticaly each cell can provide 15 min of back up .
                                        Hence a 6 cell should provide a back up in a range of 90 min .
                                        Practicaly there are more thing that can infuence the back up .
                                        Usage type, application used, number of application used a one point .
                                        Moreover battery being a consumable comodity would eventualy start giving lesser back .
                                        Maybe its 4 hour back on idle mode and depending on the system load its about 1hour?

                                        Moral of the story: Read reviews who do battery tests on both idle and load, especially without those energy saving softwares which basically reduces the clock speed.
