I am really upset with dell from new year onward, since i reported an issue on my Wi-Fi not been working properly on 27th of dec i was asked to install a driver for that. Even then it don't seems to work and i reported the same on 29th and the ppl from dell, they took remote access and re installed another driver, unfortunately this also stoped working. This time even the it become more worst, it left me with blue screen of death and i am unable to boot into my system. So aging i call dell ppl on 2nd of jan 2011 and i asked them to fix it. They are asking me re install the OS system for which i need to take my system to near by service center for which i need spend 6 business hours of mine which will not be possible for me. So i asked tech ppl either to send back up cd or any technician to my to get the work done for which they refused to. i am still loosing time and the issue is not fix at last even tech guy dropped the call saying that i can't help. i even told ask tech person do you want me to make this small issues legal, he told me go ahead and do it we are not afraid of. This is the way the ppl from tech support behave and i am still stuck with the issue. All together till now i spent around 6 business hours of mine requesting to get the issue solved and aging they are asking me spend 6 more business hours of my to reach out near by service center for which i am not ready to pay the consequence for the mistake done by dell ppl. and my service tag number is 24kzt1s. And i am dell customer from past 4 years this is kind of treatment i am getting. I am still opening my doors to get the issues solved by not draging it to court. please help in this with fixing the issue so that i can still trust DELL .

    would like to lodge a complaint against Dell laptop model Inspiron N4010 which i purchased on 7th July 2010 from Devraj Computers Pvt Limited Dell located at Nugambakam, Chennai.
    This is to bring to notice about the multiple hardware faliure which occured in this laptop within 15 months of purchasing. The first problem which i faced was with camera of this laptop which stopped working after two months of purchase. Being in warranty period, it was serviced by the Dell Service center but the problem reoccured along with Wi-fi, Bluetooth and USB port not working. I submitted my laptop again on 14th May 2011 which they again fixed and returned the laptop after 15 days.
    After 20 days web cam again stopped working and this time they fixed it in two minutes saying some loose wire from inside. It again stopped working after few days. With this frustration of poor services provided by Dell Service center, I decided to work on the laptop without web camera. But after few days another issue of beep sound occured in the machine which keeps occuring for around 20 minutes
    On contacting Service Center, they informed Hard disk has crashed and it will require 14000 rupees to replace it.
    Please help me out as it is clear that the laptop had manufacturing defect right from the beginning. The problem which existed in the beginning still exists coupled with crashing of Hard Disk. So many issues within the first 15 months is evidence enough to conclude that a defective laptop was provided. Moreover, I found from internet the cost of 500GB hard disk to be 6000 rupees maximum with three years warranty. Here they are asking for Rs. 14000 with one year warranty. With poor service have they started cheating customer also?
    I bought the laptop for 39606 rupees and now just after 15months again investing 14000 rupees makes no sense.

      I have been constantly having issues with my laptop since the past 1 month. First my laptop had a heating issue and webcam was also not working, so,
      I called up dell technical support told them my problem and they sent a onsite engineer to repair it. So this guy comes in to my place changes the webcam and the motherboard. However in the process he broke the front LCD Panel covering. He did have an extra panel for my model so he tried replacing it, and hence breaking it too. Before leaving he tell me that it not broken but just loose and will settle after few days o[censored]se. Also after he left I realized that my windows was malfunctioning any was freezing up sometimes. I re-run my windows experiences index, only to find that it had decreased to 4.3 from 5.1 (my Windows Experiences rating before the technician touched my laptop)

      I waited for few days and called the dell technical support again. The Technical support guy started troubleshooting and giving me all sort of rubbish explanation as to what could have caused the issue. I myself work in IBM and I am a B.tech in Computer Science graduate, I did not buy his explanation and told him what might have caused this issue. He insisted that i am wrong and he is right, so i told him to do what-ever he wants. They sent another onsite engineer to fix this issue. He comes in and fixes my Lcd Panel covering and replaces the motherboard again. But when he switched the laptop on it displayed the Blue Screen Error(better known as BSOD: blue Screen of Death). Then he switshed backed to the motherboard that he just took out from my laptop and checked. Windows loaded and was working, so he never replaced my motherboard and i never got my old ratings back. He left and i requested that i mark him high on his service survey. just a day after that i plugged my cameras SD card in my laptop to back-up few photographs. I found out that now my memory card reader was not working. I was furious!!

      I called up Dell technical support again and told them about it. I told them that i had enough of them and i just need my laptop to work fine with any hardware issue. So they promised to send another onsite technician. So today the technician came and fixed the SD Card reader and also replaced the motherboard which they failed to do before. I cross checked everything before he left and switch my laptop off. 30 min later i switch my laptop on again only to find a bluish display on the LCD. So i tried to move the LCD Panel back and forth to see if it makes any difference. If had press and hold on the bottom left corner on my LCD panel then the display is fine but as soon as i release it, guess what i goes back to that bluish color tone!!!!!

      So i tried calling dell technical support again. A girl picks up and i asked her politely that "is it possible that i could talk to your manager"? She replied in affirmative and placed me on hold. 2 min later she hanged up on me!!!!
      I am in a state of monstrous frustration and i hope i dont meet anyone who works in Dell Technical support. Coz if i did, I would be the first person to shove up the dell laptop in there !@#$%^!!!!

        Hi. I bought an XPS 15 L501X in February 2011. It was customized with good specifications for heavy use programs. It worked fine for a month but then started giving me problems. It became terribly slow, and couldn't handle small softwares and hanged occasionally. Since then, the laptop has been serviced multiple times, and internal parts like hard drive were changed twice. Then when the problems persisted, i escalated the issue and they took the laptop to Bangalore for servicing and gave it after a month, without providing me with a backup. The Bangalore team said that there were no issues and gave it back. After a month from returning, my laptop crashed and they replaced the HD for the third time. Now even after that, my laptop slows down and hangs up frequently. It hangs sometimes even when its idle. I am fed up of contacting dell and getting no result.
        Please help.

          Hi,
          I have purchased Dell Inspiron n5110 Laptop on october 2010.My service tag number is hxltvq1.After 15 days it started giving problem.I had lots of faith on Dell but my faith and believe breaks.Its better to purchase any other company because its worthless to purchase Dell because they are not giving the quality.I have launched complaint but they have not solved my problem. My complaint number is[protected]. I am suffering from the following problem in my laptop.

          1. It is getting too heat within 10 minutes times. This is too risky to use may be burst.
          2. Battery backup is poor. Battery capacity is less than 40 minutes after full recharge.
          3. Internal Hardware sounds are coming. May be there is some hardware problem.
          4. Some keys i.e. “6” on keyboard are not working properly. Required to push hard.
          5. Processing speed is very slow even it is virus free and not having more data in my hard disk.

          Due to above Laptop problems, I am getting lots of problem in my studies as well as project works. This is directly affecting to my studies and growing future. They have said me that they will replace my laptop but they are wasting their time as well as my time.So, I am going to take legal action against them and will never suggest anyone to purchase Dell laptop in future.

              Sir/Madam,
              I am a professor, Loyola College, Chennai. I bought a new Dell Laptop with service tag FPYNRX1 and service code[protected] from Pinnacle Dell Store, Anna Nagar Chennai, on 15th Feb'2014. After the billing was done they opened the pack and explained the features on my laptop. They found that one of my USB ports(close to the HDMI port) not responding with my pen drive, 3G Data card and the dongel for wireless mouse. They told me to contact the customer care as it was due to some software issues. I tried the customer care but I was unable to contact them since it was a saturday. Finally I contacted the customer care on Monday(17th Feb'2014) but they said the mother board has to be replaced. how can I accept for the replacement of mother board for such a defective laptop that too immediately after the the payment of Rs.45500. When I asked the salesperson in the Dell Store about this faulty machine, he proved himself to be very rude after selling the machine. So I humbly request you to replace the laptop itself as I am completely dissatisfied with such a selling of a defective product to the customer by the Dell Store.
              Totally disappointed with the new dell laptop since the Dell people don't even inspect the product before it is packed.

                I had bought a laptop last year and now my laptop is well within the warranty period. Now I am having a problem with the in-built web-cam of the laptop. I tried to call the service center and for once they took remote of my system, performed all the necessary checks that they require and later on it was found that the problem was not a software problem rather it was a hardware problem. Then after 5 minutes they disconnected the phone. After this incident whenevver I tried to call DELL service center(for the subsequent 3-4 days I did) they disconnect the phone. This is really irritating on a consumer's side as it feels that I have been betrayed by the company's service center. Kindly suggest.

                  I GOT THE DELIVERY OF XPS 15Z ON 20.11.2011. TILL NOW IT HAS BEEN FORMATTED 7 TIMES THROUGH ASSSISTANCE OF DELL' S TECHNICAL TEAM. NOW THEY HAVE FORWARDED THIS CASE TO THEIR SENIOR TECHNICAL ASSISSTANCE (ESCALATION DEPT.). EVERY TIME I OPEN MY LAPTOP FOR USE THERE IS SOME NEW PROBLEM.

                  THE EECALATION DEPT. PROMISED TO REPLACE THE LAPTOP OVER PHONE, & AFTER PASSING OF ONE-TWO DAYS THEY ARE ASKING TO REPLACE IT ONLY WHEN THEY RECEIVE IT & AFTER THAT THEY NEED ONE MONTH TO DELIVER THE REPLACEMENT.

                  I REQUESTED THEM TO TAKE THE OLD ONE ON VICE VERSA DELIVER THE NEW ONE, BUT THEY ARE NOT READY TO LISTEN.


                  I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO?

                  THIS IS MY THIRD DELL'S LAPTOP AND I FOUND NOW THEIR SERVICES WORST.

                    I purchased a laptop from one of the dell authorised dealer in Ernakulam kochi. After two months of purchase it started giving some major problem. i lodged a complain to their call centre as the authorised Dealer washed his hands and advised to directly deal with Dell. after lodging complain dell engineer came and replaced hard drive. But the problem did not go. Then dell service engineer said waiting for other parts .After one week some spares are came in my home and replace mother board.But did not solve my laptop problem. Then Dell service engineer said this parts did not match your system. So we will replace other parts. This type of repairing dell service engineer took 5 times - 6 time and damaged screw and other parts .Then I contacted Dell centre thru call centre and requested for replacement of laptop as the unit supplied was defective. They advised on telephone with mail that unit will be delivered and faulty system pick up within 6-7 working days. But they didn't give any status even after two weeks. Again I contacted their call centre. every time to call there they will transfer call to 4-5 persons and you have to explain everything to all of them. Finally nothing will happen. I have been talking to them almost every alternate day , but every time sme new person will come and assUre that replacement will be done within 2 or 3 days. They will never reply to our mail only talk on telephone. even they will not connect to their top people. Surprisingly they don not answer by mail and I have doughty that Dell have any internal system to handle customer comp[lain by top people. it is always left to the call centre junior persons who do not reply anything else than assuring you. Really I do not know how to get back my replacement. My system has been totally dead from fast 2-3 months. System is very needful for my daily life and i am suffering from 2-3 months.my system complete coverage (NBD + CC) warranty valued from[protected] to[protected]. Please note that my case nos.[protected], after Ur customer care gave case no.is[protected]. My warranty order acknowledgement customer no[protected] and Quote no 25613859.                       Subject :- IRRESPONSIBLE RESPONSE IN RESPECT OF DELL STUDIO 1558 SERVICE TAG NO. 86N55BS

                      Sir,

                      1. It is to bring to your notice that I, Lieutenant Colonel Amit Kumar Deoli bought Dell Laptop, Model Studio 1558 with Service Tag No 86N55BS on 28 Jun 2010 from Jammu (J&K)and then after couple of months later realized there was a major manufacturing defect with this particular machine, as it use to break down very often. And due to the pathetic and irresponsible attitude of the DELL Company, I have suffered a lot of mental agony and distress since a long time. After finding no solution anywhere for a very prolonged time I am at last approaching you with a definite hope that you are going to help me out on this. Sir, I had earlier also written to you and other Consumer Forum but did not received any positive response. May I request you to please help me out on this as I being deployed on line of control (LOC), am completely out of touch with the civil world.

                      2. Since the time I bought this machine one or the other problem kept on developing even after using it very carefully and sensibly. I requested the DELL Company to look into it in detail but despite all cosmetic efforts by their technicians on number of occasions to resolve various issues, this machine could never become fully efficient and perfect and now when my laptop has crashed since last one month nothing tangible has been done from their side even after my continuous reminders and request to them. Sir, for your info they have changed all the major parts of my laptop i.e. Mother Board, RAM, Hard drive, Speakers etc once or twice in past, and still the machine could not become fully efficient due to the major manufacturing defect. This I, learnt after showing it to my unit technician ,who after formatting my laptop a month back, told me that the laptop does not have any kind of software issue(as stated by The DELL Company) ,and the issue is actually with its LCD and mother board ,which has been changed in the past also. Now my laptop has totally become redundant for me even after spending a exorbitant amount on its purchase (Rs 54000/-Approx) and there after extending its warranty for two more years (till 2013) by paying Rs 12700/- additional. I being in Army, am deployed on line of control (LOC) where the civil mobile network is also not available throughout, rendering me out of touch most of the time and at the same time as you know it is also very difficult to come down frequently to resolve such issues as we also have other important operational concerns to look into.
                      3 Regardless of my requesting DELL company/service time and again, regarding the replacement of the laptop, one engineer had come to me on 10 Dec 2011 on service reference No[protected] with refurbished Motherboard, LCD, RAM etc . The engineer by the name of Mr Gurpreet Singh asked me to allow him to change the parts so that my system can work again. As I had already elucidated my lack of contentment towards their superficial theory of changing parts earlier, I declined his request immediately. Sir, my contention is if my laptop has no major manufacturing defect ( as per The DELL assumption ) then why is it breaking down so often and why the problem is related to its major parts always. As mentioned earlier all the major components have been changed once or twice in my laptop and it seems that it is mere superficial endeavors from their side to give only momentary relief to their customers. The engineer send by them , after inspecting the laptop also realized the problem and gave me assurance that the issue will be resolved shortly. Mr Gurpreet Singh (engineer) than spoke to Mr. Prateek (Dell employee- costumer care dept ) and told him the complete issue in detail and thereafter was given the new Case ID[protected].

                      4. May I request you to please look into this matter as now I am totally broke and you only can help me in getting me justice . This unsolved issue has actually troubled me so much now that, I regret as to why I Purchased is machine from Dell in first place and thereafter got its warranty extended also.

                      Keeping my predicament in view may I request you again to help me in replacing this machine at the earliest .

                        I bought this machine in May of 2010. Firstly the software was not properly installed. The video card, blue tooth and facial recognition drivers were faulty. But I sorted out these driver issues myself. Now in less than 18 months the tech support has diagnosed that the heat sink is bad. The computer looks crisp brand new and has never moved from my office desk. It does not even have a scratch. I don't know how the heat sink stopped working without any reason. The machine automatically shuts down after one and a half hour o[censored]se. I read the online forums and it is a known problem with Dell Studio. But there has been no recall. I guess Dell India does not care and is just like any other Indian company. They want to charge Rs. 14,000 just to replace the heat sink of a Rs. 58,000 computer. That’s almost 25% of the cost of the price of the computer. What a rip off or I should say robbery!! The technical support person was really stupid and aggravated me. I asked why should I pay Rs. 14,000 to repair just a 17 month old machine? I invested in an expensive machine and expected it to last at least 3-4 years. But to my surprise the tech support guy coolly said, “You should know that expensive computers are expensive to fix!!” I wanted to curse him out give it back to him by saying that one buys expensive computers for reliability, better performance and peace of mind. But I thought this would be way too much for his “degree of caliber” and so called “common sense” that he was trying to explain to me.

                        I was told that my computer is now out of warranty by 5 months or so. But I never received a call or email from Dell India to renew my warranty. I would have extended the warranty. But probably Dell India knows that their machines would not last for more than 17 months and did not even attempt to offer warranty extension!!

                        I understand your point here. If the issue is with heatsink, I am suspecting the thermal paste must have worn out. The Rs 14000 is cost of repair + warranty. You also have an option to go for one time repair. I would suggest you to check with our Service Centers regarding this, they will be able to help you in a much lesser cost since you only need heatsink replacement.                           One year back I have purchased dell Vastro 1015 model laptop. In that warranty period the lap having heating resistant and white blank screen.

                          I went to the dell service centre at chetpet. They attended the problem and also said mother board problem.
                          They replaced new mother board.

                          Last one week back the same problem is created. Laptop was not working properly. Shaking are created and suddenly close the windows white blank screen shown.

                          kindly rectify this issue and give the solution ASAP. This is not acceptable for within one year period.

                            I bought a dell laptop and also an extended warranty which reads "complete coverage".

                            Today I find out that the stupid company will not pay for the battery. Even though they said it it is complete coverage end to end.

                            This is unfair and these guys are theives.

                            I would like them to honor the commitment.

                              hello, i brought dell xcd 35 mobile on 25 oct. on receiving mobile i observed two dead pixels on center of the screen. so i tried dell mobile support and after ringing for 2 to 3 days i accepted to live with fault and stopped trying. after 2-3 days i observed my mobile getting switched off automatically around 5-6 times a day even when i was kept in idol mode and within week from purchase its dead. nothing happening on pressing power button. Again i tried to call customer care with embarrassing results. tried for email support and site asked me to put service tag product (BJHSBQ1), and when entered product invalid please try again later. after many attempts i searched for carry in service center and got address of Digicomp solutions, Nehru place. so i went to nehru place, waited around 3 hours, they took my mobile for repair AND ASKED ME TO CALL AFTER [B]20 DAYS[/B] . they gave me service paper with no service order no, no DSP reference no on it. after 20 days when i called them on Thursday they told me to call on Saturday. Again i called them on saturday(today) and within second i was replied to call on Friday next week.
                              I am confused where to ask and where to go to launch complain. there is not even simple email sup[port from dell. Me and my many friends have purchased dell laptops and now frightened about dells warranty service. if anyone knows how to reach dell authority personnel through email please let me know. my email id is [protected]@gmail.com

                                My PF A/C No. is KN/BN/24960/33352 and I submitted my PF Form at Dell, Gurgaon on 13th May. I received an SMS from EPFO on 13th Sept, 2011 saying that my PF Account has been approved for payment through cheque and there is no update since then. I have written numerous mails, submitted grievances on EPFO website and made thousands of calls but to no avail. Please help as I need the money urgently and anyways it has been 7 months now since I submitted the form.

                                  i had brought a dell inspiron 15r n5010 laptop on[protected]
                                  there was some defect with the motherboard and they replaced it on february 2011
                                  and i thought that all probllems were over
                                  but after the warranty was over on[protected]
                                  just one month after that the motherboard started showing defects again
                                  this made me feel so bad that that the replaced motherboard didnt last for one year

That was also a defective mobile where calling process system is getting one side as well as my voice is being also dubbing. i also visited some complain website , other guy has also same bad experience as me. At last I got 3rd mobile which IMEI no. is-- [protected] but after 3 months I am facing same problem as before mobile’s Experience. (Touch screen is going to be a abnormal, calling process problem etc. ) i purchased this mobile due to brand value,. i am totally fed up on this mobile and Dell company also so want to compensation . Dell Company is giving 1year replacement warranty on this particular product. But in 9 months I am facing lots of problem which I can’t explain to you. This is my first android mobile which is also highest price in my life ever. So need to Compensation very soon.

                                      I had purchased a mobile (Model-XCD 28) Invoice No.- BMC/6983 dated[protected] from B.M. Computers, Sanjay Place, Agra.
                                      Within some time from purchase, I started experiencing problems with its touch screen. Also it used to get switched off while talking on the phone. I made an oral complaint many times to B.M. Computers, Sanjay Place, Agra. They informed that the set has a resistive touch and is pretty sensitive and told me to use it for some time and I would get habitual to it.
                                      (Before this, I was already using a Samsung Touch Screen Mobile from the past two years but I purchased XCD 28 after seeing its attractive advertising and additional features.)
                                      But after a few months, I realised that the set itself has a lot of problems. I lodged a complaint through e-mail ([protected]@dell.com) on[protected] and on[protected].
                                      I submitted my Dell XCD 28 mobile alongwith a complaint letter to B.M. Computers, Sanjay Place, Agra, on[protected] to send my set to the Service Centre to resolve our problem.
                                      Even after 15 days of submitting the set, no clear answer was received regarding what is the problem with my set and when will it be solved. And since I was facing problem without the mobile set, I had to purchase a new mobile set by spending Rs.4000/- on it.
                                      I received a call from the Company’s Bangalore Office (Phone No.-[protected]) on[protected] that my set is defective and it will be replaced with a new one and will be sent to me very soon.
                                      After waiting for another 15 days, I complaint by e-mail on[protected] regarding the delay, after which I received a call from the Bangalore Office on[protected] that there is some problem with the manufacturing unit and the time of delivery of set is not sure.
                                      After that I lodged request/complaint by e-mail on[protected] to send my set immediately and if the set is unavailable then to kindly return my money thereby releasing my mental stress.
                                      I am extremely disappointed with Dell India Ltd. The warranty period for Dell XCD 28 mobile will expire on[protected] and after this your company will say that the warranty period has expired and nobody will thereafter entertain my problem.
                                      Kindly solve the problem and reply soon.

                                        I bought a studio XPS 1645 in February 2010. On receiving the system, i was not at all satisfied with its performance ans so requested for a replacement/ refund. The technicians said that lets try to resolve the problem and if not solved then we can go ahead with replacement/refund even after 30 days of purchase. Its nearly two years now and still the system is a piece of crap. They refuse for replacement/refund. This is what I get for my 85,000 bucks. DELL sucks. Never go for dell. Bloody hypocrites
