2 years warranty extension

My issue is regarding the extension of the 2 year warranty of my DELL LAPTOP that I bought on 02.07.2022.
The dealer has told me to login to www.dellconsumeroffer.com/backtocollegeoffer, where I can login or register myself and get the warranty extended for another 2 years at Rs. 1, 999.00. Because of this offer I bought the Dell laptop.

The dealer has told me to login to www.dellconsumeroffer.com/backtocollegeoffer, where I can login or register myself and get the warranty extended for another 2 years at Rs. 1, 999.00. Because of this offer I bought the Dell laptop.

I did the registration on Monday evening and I got the message and mail that after 72 hrs I can make the payment of Rs. 1, 999/- but 12 days has been passed and still the link for making payment is not activated and it still shows ‘ Your claim is under process’.

I am very upset with the services Dell is providing.. Because of this extended warranty offer i opted for Dell laptop.. I dropped a mail to Dell team but everytime I call or write them mail they say, they need another 48-72hrs.
Daily I have to take follow-up / call customer care in order to get the link for payment activated, but no me essay action is taken from the Dell team..

    I live in Gurgaon. I went to the Dell Exclusive store in M3M Urbana. My laptop battery wasn't working fine including my keyboard so I went there to replace this. The manager there [Name: Ajay Yadav] is very rude and talks in a very annoyed manner. He took 8500 total for battery replacement and keyboard replacement + servicing [5500 for battery, 2000 for keyboard and 1000 for servicing]. When I received my laptop the next day - the laptop wasn't cleansed at all. It still had the same dusty spots. I mean you take 1000 for servicing and don't even clean the visible spots on the exterior of the laptop? it makes me question if the interior was cleaned or not. The battery- when tested at home worked for 1 hour after charge with minimum usage and took 2 hours to charge full. Makes us question if the battery installed was even a real one or a fake refurbished product. Furthermore, he took 15 minutes and then complained that the bill software wasn't working so he cannot make one right now and will send one the next day. We told him this wasn't an option since the reason we went to a dell exclusive store was to get original products and their authentic bills to use in case of warranty. He complained a lot with attitude and after 15-20 minutes hands us a bill with no price breakup at all? We called him the next day to tell him that the battery he installed works even worse than the one that was previously there in the laptop. He told us we can come and get a replacement 1 or 2 hours later since it was under a 1 year warranty period. When we went there - he tells us we should've told him to get another battery and that we are coming. We told him he was the one who agreed and he instantly took his words back and acted like it never happened. We cannot afford to go to a dell store everyday to just get harassed and waste 2 hours of our time. We are working individuals and I don't think Dell acknowledges this. We would like to replace our battery from another store which actually installs real parts. We would like to converse with someone from dell and show documents like the invoice so they can guide us with this.

      I have a dell laptop. Right side hinge is broken because of manufacturing issue and it's effecting the LCD panel. I registered my complain on 22nd June. I thought the service will be done by 31st of June. But In June I didn't receive anything. On July 2 I needed to change the service location because of my job. Yet I haven't recieve anything from Dell.
      I can't wait for 5-6 days or more.

        I had ordered a Dell Inspiron Laptop using the Dell India portal on Sunday 3rd July 2022. While placing the order I got an error message however the amount got debited from my bank account. The customer sales person assured me the issue will get resolved. However on Sunday no technical support or finance person was available. The sales rep called me the next day (4th July) and manually submitted the order. However status of the order was showing as received even on Tuesday 5th July. After calling the customer care number I was assured this is being looked into by the finance department and the order status will change to confirmed. After multiple followups again on 7th and 8th July I was informed it will get cleared end of day. Today I received an email asking to send proof that the amount got debited from my account. I have never experienced such poor customer experience in my life and certainly did not expect this from a company like Dell. While I will go ahead to share further proof I am not sure now if my payment has got stuck in some bureaucratic loop hole in Dell. Also now not sure of the quality of the product itself if this is the importance given to customer while placing orders.

          Not at all worth going here, believe me, not even single star deserved, I don't normally give reviews, but this is the worst experience. I have brought a laptop from this place, I was over charged on the laptop price when I asked them why, they said they would install some genuine software's on the basis of on store policy, so I went a head and paid, and I was told that they will charge 2% extra because of the credit card charges as they told me, which I am not sure not many stores are charging us especially on the laptops (I enquired about it after the purchase all of the dealers said no to 2%), after making the payment and was about to receive my laptop, they turned on my computer and I was told to enter my details which I entered, and when I asked is this why you charged extra, they said yes, you can do this home also, and they even fought with me just because I asked that question.

          Later after coming home, I inquired about the laptop price and enquired about 2% charges, all of the distributors said no to 2%, and the laptop price is way lower than at this store, they are also Dell exclusive distributors. I didnt worry about the money but if they can't answer a single question from a customer they dont even deserve to be in any sort of business where they face customers. I made the biggest mistake going here, if I didnt pay the amount I would have immediately left.

              their customer care executives are way too unprofessional
              many a times they just disconnect the call in the middle of the conversation

              neither dell is refunding the money nor delivering laptop

              it has been 28 days since I placed the Order but dell has not even intimated me about the details of the
              product for which I made the payment

                  I have bought a Dell inspiron 14 5410. I have bought this laptop on 23rd Aprill 2022 . It has a problem with speaker from the day I bought this, I requested for replacement. Its been more than 2 months still they have not replaced the product . They have pixked up the faulty laptop also. Kindly help me with this issue

                    I tried ordering Dell business Laptop last week[protected] .
                    During the payment process, the amount got debited from my account but unfortunately I didn't get any order confirmation message.

                    On the same day[protected], I dropped an email to indiaconsumer.[protected]@dell.com and they have asked me to wait for 48 hours.
                    After 48 hours, I didn't receive any update and I kept following up with them but no proper update, so please help to refund the money so that I can order a new consumer laptop.

                    I have been following up daily and all I get is to wait for 48 hour.

                    One week has been completed, till now no progress.

                      I purchased dell laptop inspiron 15 with i7 processor for 83500 on 18th may after consulting with sales support person Raghavendra kumar. After 8 days whn i called him he said that product is discontinued. Then he convinced me to wait for newly launching inspiron 16 model.
                      But even though the product is launch he is still giving me new dates of delivery and kept cancelling my orders on website n putting it for new date.
                      Today i spoke with another sales guy for new order of same product and he told me that deliveries are already started for this product.
                      This is been biggest fraud.

                          This is in refernce to the trailing case case #[protected] || connection with dell international private limited
                          there are certain points but for understanding whole case i want to draw the kind attention for material things firstly
                          1 - time waste by dell top consumer head department of approx 2 month by sanjith shetty and gurpreet singh
                          2- and after 2 month of baseless things here to there and not even know what they are doing it says its not in our assistance to help you further
                          3 - whose deficiency whose responsibility nobody knows
                          4- issue is simple for system lacking badly which is
                          5- but gurpreet singh closed the case many times in consumer forum on the ground that they refund the money in refernce to mother board replacement which is not even a material fact to the issue and what material in this is that your engineer without getting the issue just casually make a statement in writing to replace motherboard
                          6- this whole incident badly effect my study and now they say it after wasting so much time such a malpractice on every part
                          7- i also not completed my lecture for june attempt 2022 just 3 days my exam got over
                          8- treating the consumer as a consumer is such a big thing on every part to resolve
                          9- only blame game is there sometime to amd sometime to microsoft and so on i assist with amd earlier also and other too everything i mentioned in mail also but only waste my important time

                          all other conversation with dell officials are hereby send to the persons if anyone needed it for refernce

                          i only need to be resolved my issue its very late because
                          i request to the sister concerns to take this matter on a serious note please i have to start my penidng lectures which i wont see bcz of this badly lacking on my laptop

                            I own a Dell XPS 15 and I bought the laptop in 2019. I have had to replace the motherboard on my laptop five times within a span of two years. After the repetitive nature of the faults that arise at certain time intervals in the motherboard, the company keeps on delivering a temporary fix by replacing with not even new, but instead refurbished motherboards which keep on failing after an average of 5-6 months. All I demand is to get the laptop diagnosed, not just blindly keep changing the motherboard and replace it with a new one instead of a refurbished part.

                              I placed my order on the 13 of May 2022 and paid Rs 84, 989 online. However due to several issues the supply of the order gets delayed by Dell and the team. I have been assigned a salesperson, Mr.Raghavendra Sharma, with his mobile no if I have any queries or issues with the order.

                              But as of today, I couldn't reach him if I have any queries. Every time I have to contact the WhatsApp team and they inform the sales person then he will call me back with reluctant answers and a lot of wrong commitments and misleads till today. I have never got any proper replies or even a proper response from your end. even from the persons in the loop.
                              I paid a huge amount and I am begging you for a reply.

                              I am running a company, I ordered my laptop for my business purpose. Because misleading and wrong commitments made by your sales -coordinator resulted in a delay of my order. I have faced a huge loss which led to severe depression for me.

                              Whenever I am approaching the customer care or salesperson they replied reluctantly.

                              I have been struggling for more than a month but till today I haven't got any solution for the issues. After a long struggle, My order was confirmed on the 10 of Jun 2022. but up to date, it has not been taken for production even after a week.
                              In the meantime, on the 21st of June 2022, I received a message from Raghavendra Sharma via WhatsApp saying that " we have rebooked the order and are in the process of expediting. it should get within 6 working days" vide new order no:[protected] order dated 21st June 2022 and cancelled the previous order no:[protected] order dated 9th June 2022 without my knowledge and concern.

                              Now the status of the newly placed order was cancelled. I don't know the reason why. If I call Raghavendra Sharma thru his mobile and thru whatsapp as usual he doesn't respond

                              i sent mail to his managers Amith Naik & Rahul Raju they are also not responded.

                                I ordered Dell Inspiron 7425 (2-in-1) laptop directly from Dell India website and they sent me a defective laptop through BlueDart on June 08, 2022. I raised a complaint with Dell about the damage within just 2 hours of the product delivery however, there has been no proper update from Dell till date (22nd June, 2022). I requested for a replacement of the whole unit but they keep telling that they will be contacting me in 24-48 hours.. Its been 2 weeks since i raised the issue. Still not resolved.

                                I spoke to two representatives even this morning and both of them updated me the same thing that they are awaiting a response or someone else will assist me at the earliest. Its been 18days today after the product delivery. This was my first Dell purchase and it went pathetic.

                                Because there was no response regarding replacement, i raised a request for refund and i hope its in process.. But again, no one from Dell has contacted me to give an update.

                                  I placed the battery replacement order for my company provided laptops, made the payment 4 weeks ago. There is still no update from the team and the status is showing as cancelled. I tried reaching the customer service but nobody is able to provide a reason why my order is cancelled, also there is no update about my refund. Customer service just picks up the call and keeps routing it to different teams and none of the team provides a proper solution.
                                  Dell provides worst customer service and is not at all user friendly. Buying battery from local shops is better than ordering from dell support.
                                  We are disappointed to know about your experience with us. Kindly drop in a DM to Dell Cares on Twitter regarding this. They will certainly get this resolved for you.

                                    I purchased an Inspiron 5410 2-in-1 in June last year. I found an issue with the keyboard very soon and raised a complaint through Dell Technical Support on Whatsapp. Only after giving them a thorough description of the issue and sending a dozen pics, they could finally understand what the problem was and arrange a service for me. After some days they sent a service technician to my home and got the keyboard replaced. Althoug it was quite a lengthy process and took quite some days, I was satisfied that the issue was resolved in the end. That was the last time my experience with Dell's service ended on a happy note. After that, the experience has been no less than pathetic. With the passage of time, I noticed issues with the Hinge and the Headphone Jack. I tried to raise the complaint over Whatsapp like usual. But the Dell Technical Support on Whatsapp is so annoying and useless. The agents available for chat are extremely incompetent and inexperienced. You have to put in so much energy and effort to explain your issue. If anything they know about is Driver Updates. Thats it. Nothing else. You tell them any damn problem from software to hardware, their one and only solution would be to update the drivers. What adds to the misery is that after every certian amount of time interval, the agents keep changing and you have to explain the damn entire sitiuation to every new agent, even though they do say that they will review the case history. Coming back to my case, I had to spend days of tiresome conversation with dozens of agents and provide detailed verbal and video explanations. I also installed every damn software and driver update which I they told me to. After all of this time consuming and so lengthy process were they able to probably understand the issues and set up an onsite service for my laptop. I was given a certian amount of days to wait until the parts needed for replacement were available. After over a week, I get a message from them that the delivery of the parts has been delayed and it is now gonna take some time. After about one more week I get another message that the parts have been further delayed and it is going to take about two months to arrive. And alternatively I was offered a replacement against my faulty system with a refurbished one. I was a bit hesitant at first to accept a refurbished unit, but having no choice I decided to proceed with it. They gave me a 40 days timeline for the replacement process. Can you believe it? 40 days? I mean this is 2022 we are living in. I expressed my disappointment but again, being helpless and having no choice, I gave the approval with a heavy heart. Weeks passed and I received no response from them. Finally, afer about a month I received a mail that they could not find any refurbished unit with the required specifications and will be therefore providing a brand new unit. At this point I was a bit suspicious and skeptical, and I expressed my concern and denied the offer and demanded that my existing laptop be fixed. They again gave me a 60 days timeline for that and since I had already waited for over a month I didn't want to wait any further. I hesitantly accepted the offer and was assured that the new system will be delivered shortly. I had to wait another 10 days approximately before I recieved a call from a Dell retailer informing me that the system has arrived. After recieving the laptop, I immideately found issues in it within a few hours o[censored]sage. These issues were worse than what were present on my old laptop. I was feeling so angry and disappointed. I rightaway got in touch with Dell Techhnical Support on whatsapp and expressed my frustration. Again I had to deal with their sheer incompetence and a deep lack of knowledge and understanding for days. Again I was asked to install every damn driver and software update. Again I had to give detailed verbal and visual explanations. Again they set up an onsite service and again they are sending me daily texts that the delivery of the parts has been delayed. Again I'm stuck in this horrible cycle of their pathetic service. It has been more than 2 months now since I raised my service request for my old laptop and here after 2 months I have ended up with a laptop in a much worse condition that my old one. You can understand the level of my frustration. I'm done with Dell. I want them to please take the laptop back, give me my refund. I have lost all trust in Dell. My next step will be to take a legal action against Dell.

                                      Very regret to inform that the Dell Support Team couldn't fix my issue where my Dell Inspiron 15 3000 with Service Tag-FPTB8F3 is repeatedly getting hanged & restarted with BSOD error as "Machine Check Exception Error". Though I have visited the nearest authorized service Centre but they can't solve the issues with giving stated advice as to contact Dell Toll Free Customer Service. But after repeated follow-up with the customer care executive the issue hasn't been fixed as yet thereby raising the complaint in customer forum. Requesting to replace a new Dell Laptop of the same model and replacing the faulty one.
