    I'm thoroughly disappointed with the way Dell is handling my case. Every time I call customer care, they keep transferring me from one person to another to another, and then in the middle of discussing the issue the line gets disconnected and Dell never follows up with an email or call back and it's utterly frustrating. I've spent hours and hours over the past few days trying to resolve my issue but Dell's team has been highly unprofessional in resolving my issue.

    I have raised a simple issue: I just purchased a new Dell Inspiron 5410 on 20 April (Service tag: 6TTLLG3) and right from Day 1 it's giving me problems. In the store itself where I had purchased it, it was generating some static electricity on the metallic part below the keyboard where the wrists rest while typing. I requested the store people the very next day and a couple of days later directly to Dell to return or exchange my model. This problem is only happening on certain surfaces and not on all, especially while using a converter. I am a world traveler and speaker, I'm always traveling to different countries, doing conferences, events etc. So, I can't always choose the surface on which I have to work. I live in Central America and on my visit to India I purchased this new Dell laptop, as my old one started malfunctioning here.

    And even if they fix the static electricity issue, I've learned that the other problem I'm facing cannot be resolved on this particular Inspiron model. It has some magnets on the part below the keyboard probably due to the 2 in one lid, and every time I place my hands to type, my metal bangles keep getting stuck to the magnet making the typing experience extremely uncomfortable. I'm a writer, blogger, author, influencer and I usually type for hours at a stretch. With the magnets pulling at my bangles all the time this is just a horrible thing to live with for the next 7-10 years. And these bangles I can't remove as they're a form of protection for me; I've been wearing them for years and I'll probably take them to my grave!

    This is not what I signed up for when I paid nearly 80K to purchase the latest high-end Dell model, and I didn't mind the investment - I only wanted the best laptop in the market. I was not informed before purchase that there are magnets below the keyboard; anybody wearing metal/iron jewelry: rings, bracelets, bangles will face this issue while typing. It's just so uncomfortable as the click-click sound of the magnets pulling at my bangle are such a distraction when I'm writing or composing a piece, coupled with the great discomfort the magnet pulling creates. Over time, it can also spoil the laptop surface.

    I've been using laptops for the past 20 years, and I've patronized various brands such as Toshiba, Asus, HP, Lenovo, Dell... a couple of them were metallic too, but never faced this issue before. And Dell cannot compel me to live with this situation for the next 10 years. I'm willing to pay more to get a different model such as XPS or Latitude where this problem won't be there, but I need to return this one first. How complicated is it to return or exchange a laptop? Why is Customer Care giving me so much trouble?

    In conclusion, all I want is a return and replacement of the model I have now, so I can go for a different Dell model with a different surface, where this metallic/magnetic issue won't be there, a Latitude or XPS model. I am not even using this computer as I want to return it and for the past so many days I'm unable to work because Dell is not resolving my issue. I need immediate assistance to return or exchange my current computer, so I can get back to work. Thanks!

    I have bought a model with service tag HGJ1ZH3 in October 2021 only. within few months the monitor is separated from the keyboard.
    after applying for system replacement the company is not responding to my query. i have mailed them a no of times. they are still searching for the solution. at least the least you can do is assure your customers. after investing a huge amount of money what do i get in return.?

    such a huge brand name still not showing any positive gesture. is this a way to treat your customers? i have a ton of work to do. where do is supposed to work now.? you are using your customer time, money everything.
    Such a pathethic service quality.

      Very bad service by dell they give us faulty laptop, even when i have purchase dell laptop for three month i did not used and then after i started used so i used by external mouse so how the parts can be in fault .

        I am having very bad experience with Dell support team !!

        I had raised repair request on 25 th April 2022 but there is no change in status of my request from that day .

        I am calling to customer support but they are putting me on long hold and disconnecting my call.

        On wts app support the person who is in touch with me, he is not supporting me in my case.

            1. Service request for new laptop under warranty was placed on 19 Apr 22 for 'hinge' of laptop that was broken and it was conveyed that the same will be resolved within 5-7 working days. However, the part has still not been shipped.
            2. The laptop is being used for college studies and repair was urgently required, moreover laptop is essentially required for exams.
            3. The details of the service request is as under :-

            4. The poor response from Dell is quite unpleasant and has led to unnecessary stress to the customer and the student.

              I purchased Dell Inspiron laptop in October 2021. On April 12, 2022 the hinge popped out & touchpad stopped working. I filed complaints with dell. They created case & promised repairing 3-4 business days. It's now 3 weeks no response.

              It is unfortunate that after having purchased the DELL laptop, I encountered two major problems within just 6 months of single-handed use. Both the issues - one popping up off the right side corner of the screen near the hinge and the second malfunctioning of touchpad despite my drivers and windows being up to date.

              This has put me in immense trouble as it has rendered the laptop non-functional and has hampered my work. I wonder if Dell understands how much hassle a customer has to go through if the product he/she purchases gets damaged within just 6 months o[censored]se, over and above the monetary loss caused.

              For DELL, it could be just a 'case' in which your technical team conveniently excuses itself citing various reasons like lockdown and logistics issues etc but it has put my work to a standstill.

              Every time I call up Dell Technical services, I have to answer the same 100 questions until I get to talk to a new engineer who is interested in only opening a new case. What about solving the pending cases??

              When I write to you over email, I get the same reply that there are lockdown and logistic issues. May I ask Dell, if the logistic issues are there only for repairing and not for sales?? What is the meaning of having a product under warranty then?

              Please be sensible and try to expedite repairing my newly purchased laptop or replace it.

                I have taken a new laptop on November last year. On 11th of April this year my laptop hinges was broken they said me within 2/3 days we solve the problem . Now they are saying me that we need another 30 days for replacement or otherwise they need another 30/40 for repair my system. I want my money back please DELL TEAM it's a humble request to you please give my money back so that i can take a new laptop and start my work

                  I have recently purchased Dell Vostro laptop on 13 Apr-22 through Flipkart portal(from indospirit private limited), after I received it 18 Apr-22. On 29 Apr -22 I faced problem that display shows blur and displayed suddenly not working. But I tried to reach Dell customer support but they are not working on weekend and after 6PM on weekdays . I hope Dell India thinks that their customers beyond those timing ...even they are not reachable through mail ...
                  And when I checked using my service tag no in dell website it is showing this laptop is purchased on Sept 21 . Does they selling refurbished laptop under new laptop label ...? Doing forgery in sales ...

                    I have bought Dell Vostro laptop 3500 (Service tag Nos. 7LN09D3) on 19th April, 2021. It was working fine, however on 21st April, 2022, the screen gone blank and totally blackout. I took the laptop to the nearby Dell Exclusive store for screening the issue. However, since I missed the warranty by 2 days, the technician are charging me Rs. 1500 only for checking the issues.

                    I even called the Dell Customer care number and raised a complaint for the repair of my laptop (Case number:[protected]. I have raised complaint on 22nd April, 2022 and was asked to wait for 48 hrs to receive the quote. Today is 26th April, 2022 I have not received any email nor any quote.
                    I am not able to use my laptop for almost a week now and there is nothing much left I can do. I was hoping for the better service from Dell when I purchased the laptop but it was just a misunderstanding. I regret my decision now for purchasing the Dell product.

                    I genuinely request you to look into the matter at the earliest. It's been hardly a year I have bought the laptop and neither I can trust third party for repairing nor I am getting any support from Dell support. Kindly look into the matter at the earliest.

                      I have bought Dell Laptop .DELL Inspiron Ryzen 3 Dual Core 3250U (INSPIRON 3505)
                      online through Flit kart sold by seller Indospirit Private Limited. since the day I received the product the battery performance was very pathetic only 1.5 hour whereas company claimed min 3 hours battery performance. Suddenly after three months FAN start making noise and system automatically ask for booting. within a six months charger I got with laptop not working. How this is possible a new charger stop working within a six months this means the charger quality is very poor. I have another laptop of Asus and charger is working fine even after five years. I want please check and replace the product as I am doubtful about the quality.

                        I purchased a new laptop so within a month it having glitching problem but slowly pc screen glitching automatically. So on that time I have urgent project assign by my company so that's why i didn't want to harm my office work I didn't complaint in customer care. But after my office project Done 15-30 days before I registered complaint. Customer care said we will replace LCD. When your laptop getting problems within a month what kind of quality you maintain. I want new brand laptop. I am sure Dell gave me defective piece.my case no. Is[protected]. i bought Dell 5502. Wasted money, never suggest anybody to buy Dell laptop. I was going for hp laptop but my brother suggested me. Wrong decision

                        Not solved problem they replaced parts only. It is not my issue my issue regarding replacement.. i know if once laptop open or part replacement. Issues comes time by time either it is hardware problem or it is software problem

                          Once suddenly my coordinator sheetal singh nagpal(firozpur)ask me for leave the job on 20jan2021 I'm convinced them please take me completely 1month, he was agreed.
                          When I'm asking reason why im leave my job he asked a meaningless word that my old engineer (Amar)is came back now you can leave.im totally frustrated how can they do that is this a way you use a person for get your job done.
                          I'm convinced for leave my job after many arguments with coordinator and old engineer Amar Kumar.
                          After that I'm unemployed for 1month and I'm also married and have a child, I'm also living on rented house u can guess how many difficulty I have faced just because suddenly leave my job by doing so i need take borrowed from my relatives and play my circle.is that clear.
                          Problem start with here when I'm asking for my salary and claim. I'm requesting from feb2022 to till april2022 I'm humble request to my coordinator sheetal singh nagpal and Head of remax services gurdeep singh to give me my salary and claim they daily ask me a word, call pintu he will deposit your salary, when I call pintu he replied i won't get any money for deposit to your account.
                          From Feb2022 continuously after 2days call and msg both coordinator and head gurdeep singh for my claim but both of them no response of my msg and call.

                          I'm humble request to you Dell company please ask your DSP vendor to pay my salary and claim with late fees and also give a guideline that don't do that anyone that he do it with me.
                          Once more thing your vendor dont give me my tech id they will give me a other engineer tech I'd 612836 oneforce I'd, you know this is also a fraud
                          At last lm again humble request to you please give me my salary and claim
                          Im having all evidences of all call services and your vendor excuses.

                            This is in concerned to the laptop I purchased on 21.04.2021 and laptop is Inspiron 3501
                            The product has not yet completed its 1 year period and I have already got it repaired for 4 times. I do not wish to continue with this product anymore.
                            I trusted the Dell company and the laptops provided. I am a loyal customer to your company. The laptop provided had the issues of Display, Sound, Blackout of Screen, Camera

                              I received a faulty product from dell, dell is using such a low quality raw material to manufacture Laptops, which i experienced now, i bought this in Nov 2021, this is for the business use, The defective peace of laptop is given to me, which store and dell might thought that within warranty wont happen anything, let the customer suffer later on. This is how Dell is doing fraud by delivering a faulty product to the customer via store. Now i Asked for the replacement still there is no response.

                              One fine Day in the morning just tried to start my work and tried to open the Flap of laptop and saw that not able to open only, then came to know that inches are damaged which is pathetic, without doing anything how could something like that can happen to laptop, this is the Laptop which most carefully been used. when went to the store with complaint, they said its not their responsibility. When Contacted Mr. Labesh ASM Mirabhayander Dell, He say it doesnt comes under him, it has to be taken care by the technical team only, he not the responsible one.

                              Not ready to replace my laptop as well within warranty. Customer care of Dell as well as the store Reliance digital Mira Bhayander not providing any support related to the same,

                                I approached the dell service centre on April 9th 2022, in secunderabad- Telangana, as my laptop was not working . The service centre people collected my laptop & gave me a receipt wherein I can Track the status. My tracker ID: PI[protected], dt: 09/04/2022. During this week I had called after 2 working days to understand the status, as there was no communication from the service centre . In spite of the number of attempts to reach the contact number mentioned in the receipt[protected], there was no response on this phone number . So, I personally visited the service centre on 16/04/2022, but to my surprise, no action was taken after collecting my laptop on April 9th till April 16th.. The service centre people are unaware of the status of my laptop which they collected. After insisting for a mail about the status of my laptop they have sent the below mail . And the mail says that it would take another 3 working days depending on the parts available.
                                I wanted to understand what the dell service centre was doing from April 9th to April 16th i.e. 7 working days without attending the complaint raised by me. and also without any communication to the customer about the status of the complaint. I think the Dell Service centre VDALPH TECH Shop No 1 2 and 3, 1-2-61 and 62, HYDERABAD / TELANGANA / 500003 cannot handle customer issues. All the staff are trained well to answer "we don't know when the system will get repaired".
                                So kindly let me know, if my Dell system is in warranty then whom to approach other than DELL Technologies.? where the service centre people keep the laptop without attending to the problem for 7 working days, and unless customers insist no mails would be sent about the status .I am attaching copies of the receipt and the mail and the status of my system for your kind referral. Request to close this issue at the earliest as my office work is getting disturbed as my laptop is with the service centre without attending from APRIL 9TH 2022.

                                  This is to inform you that I have been scammed at your service center, Master technology, B4 building no.56, Erose Building, Nehru palace, New Delhi. 110019.
                                  I was Having issue with speaker but instead to fixing speaker, motherboard was changed without any information. Why speaker was not fixed in the first place? When job sheet or SDAR report is created no mention of motherboard change mentioned. And not even in the link shared to check the status for service request. No, transparency in the service. When spoke to service center manager, he said, now we will write and give to you.

                                  New motherboard stolen from the Laptop while the issue is with speaker.

                                  I want reply for the same otherwise first it will be social media and than file complaint That is FIR and complaint in the consumer court..

                                    I had to replace the key pad of my daughters laptop Dell 3515 on 3/4/2022 . I got the job done from Dell Exclusive store, - A one music & Computers, 6A Megacity Mall, Mehrauli gurgaon road. I paid Rs 2500 for the job. The issues are - (i) large gaps between the keypad and the laptop panel (ii) Caps light emitting from side of the key (and not from the hole specified for it) (iii) loose fitting of the key pad on the right hand side of the lap top. Sent the laptop again to repair the above on 9/4/2022 and got it the same way with the same problems mention above. The sales person mentioned that key boards replace have gaps and hence do not look like the new laptops. I have the invoice with me and the pictures which i can send across you when demanded. I suspect that the keypad is NOT an original Dell keypad. Please help me

                                      I am facing an hardware issue with my Dell laptop and it's under warranty period. Dell support team is not agreeing that this is a hardware issue and forcing me to upgrade software again and again. I have followed the suggested steps multiple times but the issue is not resolved. But still they are not interested in sending someone who can investigate physically. As per them all the issues can be resolved remotely even If it's and hardware issue.

                                      Please help me in getting the solution for this problem.
