Dear sir/madam,
I bought a laptop (With 1 year default manufacturer warranty) from dell site on 23-dec-2017 for rs.34, 490 and i was having problems with it since then. I registered multiple complaints about high disk usage (100% disk usage all the time) and after many many firmware upgrades and system updates (Both suggested by dell in email in jul-2018), it is still behaving the same and not letting me do any basic things like browsing or opening an application. Dell doesn't seem to understand the gravity of situation and constantly raise tickets and close it without providing any resolution. When requested today (13-nov-2018) about replacement or refund of money, the customer support agent said i have basic warranty and it doesn't cover replacement as there is no hardware failures as per their diagnostic tools. However, the laptop is of no use for me as it freezes most of times, and is no value for my money. Please note it is still under warranty and something tells me that dell wants me to go out of warranty and hence can say, can't do anything.

Please help me as this is nothing but cheating with inferior quality laptops that do not work.

    On 16.09.2018 while purchasing dell laptop from dell authorized dealer m/s skope digital noida my transaction of rs. 31000 was cancelled but amount was deducted from my account. This amount was credited in m/s skope's account on 17.09.2018. Since then i am continuously following up for reversal of my money but they are not bothered about it. Rs. 31000 is huge amount for a middle class person like me and this incident will ruin the image of dell among the customers. If any amount is deducted from customer account and credited in merchant account then it is the responsibility of merchant to either deliver me the product or reverse my money but i got none of these. I am waiting for your reply regarding this issue otherwise i will file a legal case against this.

      I bought a Dell Inspiron i5 3000 laptop on the 25th of October 2018. The price of the laptop was ₹53, 000. The laptop had one year warranty form the date it has been purchased. It started showing problems the day I bought it, the screen flickered. It flickered now and then when I was moving files or watching a video on the laptop. Even when the laptop was on but idle the screen flickered and laptop was very slow.

      So, I took it back to the shop on the 29th October where they ran the diagnostics and said that the system is fine, but the next day i.e. the 30th of October they replaced the laptop with a new one of the same model and provided me with a new bill. This laptop didn’t seem to have any problem at first other than the fact that it was not much faster than the first one. After two days the laptop stared to flicker again, but not as often as the first one. The windows update was not getting installed either.

      Since I was facing these problems, I called up customer care immediately and they asked me to troubleshoot by running the diagnostics. After running the diagnostics no problem related the screen was found. Then they told to update the BIOS and the Intel and AMD graphics. They said that it’ll help the system run smoothly, but it didn’t. The screen flickered several times while installing the Intel update and the AMD updates. the customer care told me to inform them in the mail if the problem wasn’t solved and then they will send a technician to fix the problem.

      The screen still flickers sometimes and the computer is still very slow. I sent customer care a mail regarding the problem of the laptop, they called me up on the 3rd November and I explained them my problem, they told me to take my laptop to the Dell service center where they will reinstall the Windows OS again. When I asked if they could send technician to fix whatever problem there is with this laptop, they said that they cannot because during the BIOS update they didn’t come across any problem.

      I am a final year student in college and I am not able to continue my project work with this laptop and I cannot spend so much time on a new laptop that needs to be fixed, buying this laptop has created a big headache for me. One hopes that a new laptop will work smooth and fast, but this is quite the contrary.

      The customer care cannot even provide technicians to come to the house to fix this laptop which I bought 6 days ago and they cannot even take responsibility to provide proper service to a customer whom the company sold a bad product.

      I have complained to the NCH about this matter and my complaint no. is 997050.

      I expect either to receive a new laptop that will work without any problem or they should send a technician to repair this laptop so that it'll work like a new laptop as it should.

        We have ordered a laptop dell vostro 14 3000 co after the payment and now we have received the message that the item has been cancelled due to limited stock availability with the seller and the amount will be refunded. I am very disappointed that the item is still in your web site for sale and do not understand the reason for this. When i contacted the customer care number i did not get the clear answer and advised that the refund will be processed and the amount will be credited after 6 days. How the stock has come for sale without checking physically? What is the guarantee that i will get the stock if i order next item. You will loose credibility if this is continued and i am very surprised that you have not supplied the item after the payment and the amount will be at your disposal for one week. Is this an ethical hehaviour of the reputed company like you. So sorry.

          Hello, my name is sanjeev chopra (M-[protected]) and bought dell inspirion 5570 in april 2018 for rs.61, 500.

          . After purchasing this laptop i am contiously facing problem with this laptop. As graphic card related, slow startup, slow pc, wifi not working, display fluctuates especially when i connect anything with usb or bluetooth. Also i figured out that whenever i connect any device even mouse, the system becomes slow, when i emailed them last month, first time dell cust. Care called me and they suggest me update drivers, reinstall operating system.. But it didn't solved and they are trying me to go through same loop again.

          Lot of time wasted in discussing my problem with your customercare department... First they started disconnecting phones and didn't gave any response. (It was not error with my network … they didn't even lodged complain that time (In april) so after then after shopkeeper's effort.. Finally they recognised the issue and a dell technician came and reset the pc)
          But after a week problem is at is and called cust care many times but didn't got any response.
          Why you gave me defective laptop, quality is very poor and i feel my money is totally wasted in purchasing dell laptop.
          So i request you pl. Replace it as soon as possible and solve my problem. I feel being harassed when calling dell cust. Care again and again but my problem is still not solved.

            Bought new laptop model latitude 3480 on 6th of september, 2018. However, i had multiple issues within just 1 and half month. Speakers were gone, battery won't charge, snag/lag. So, i called on 26/10/2018 and registered a complaint regarding the same. After a couple of trouble shooting by tech team. They said replacement could take 45 days since i could not wait that long as this was for company's used. They said they would send the parts asap. Followed up with them on 27/10/18 however, they requested asking me to give another day. I received an email saying on site technician visit has been schedule for 29/10/18 however, nothing happen till today. Really pissed off

              Sir mene 8 august 2018 ko new dell laptop purchase kiya. Usme after 1 month window problem huyi to usme new window dalva di but usme software installed nhi ho rahe. Me service center bhi chala gya but vha bhi unhone 1days rakha sahi nhi hua. I m journalist. Mera all work nhi ho pa rha. Muje bahut problem ho rahi h. Mene news work ke liye hi new laptop purchase kiya.

              My Inspiron 13 7000 series purchased around Dec 16 - Jan 17 is giving trouble opening the Laptop as the bottom screw came off and the cabin opening up .

                I purchased a laptop on 16th march 2017 from dell exclusive store. The dealer did not give me any kind of information about warranty offers or warranty extension while purchasing the laptop.

                After 1 year, on 26 april 2018, i applied for the extension of the warranty, i got the information that i'll have to pay rs.10, 000/- for 2-year warranty extension (For onsite service and accidental damage protection). And i paid rs.10, 000/- as per the quotation submitted to me.

                I had received the confirmation of my order, just after the payment.in that document, it is clearly mentioned that the end date of the warranty is 27 april 2020 for accidental damage protection as well as for pro support.

                Dell has an online support page, where one can find the information regarding everything, there is one tab for warranty also.

                There, one part of my order has been updated (Pro support and pow is updated) while the other is not (Accidental damage protection is not updated), which is against the received quotation.

                I paid rs.2000 more for additional accidental damage protection, whereas the thing, which is updated online, costs only rs. 7999 as per the quotation, i received from dell authorised representative.

                I requested the representatives many times by writing emails, but they are not taking any action. Every time i ask them for an update, they say, we will do it by today. But it never happened since last 5 months.

                I checked the website even today, it is not yet been updated.

                Status of the service: not delivered

                  We are using about 40 nos dell computers from last few years.
                  Now only 3 computers are not running (I. E. System is not switching on).
                  Few computers having problem with lan port.

                    This is a complain.
                    I am a owner of the dell inspiron 7460. I bought this laptop about 1 year, two months ago. I am in the third year of my engineering and was recommended by someone to buy this laptop. My laptops motherboard has been replaced 3 times. Now my warranty of the laptop would not be replaced because it has a dent in it. I don't think anyone who is careful also can drop their laptop. My laptop is not working right now and i have loads of work pending. I am very disheartened by this and wouldnt recommended anyone to buy this laptop.

                      Gave laptop for service as it is getting shut automatically and the service man said that it is because of circuit short-circuit inside and the processor is getting over heated.

                      He did that and when asked for bill he replied that no bill will be given anf you can take the Debit customer copy and can be showed again if required.

                      The problem is still same and it did not change even after the repair and had to visit again for the poor service.

                          Team dell india, i purchased dell optiplex 7040 last year for my business use. Ever since it purchase, i have been facing issues almost every 3-4 months. A blue screen appears with a sad smiley : (Stating that the system has run into a problem.

                          On every occasion, it takes a lot of time in doing the diagnosis of the issue and rectifying the same. What is more concerning is that it’s motherboard and hard drive have already been replaced once, within the span of an year since i purchased this machine. I wonder if there is any loop hole within your sales channel that someone has fraudulently shipped a refurbished machine in a new dell cpu.

                          To make matters worse, your after-sales customer support team is highly inefficient in resolving the issues in-time. It has been almost a week that i am again stuck with a non-working machine due to malfunction of one of the rams that came with the system. I have a trail of follow-up e-mails but not a single one of them replied with a resolution. All i am hearing is their sorries again and again. Is sorry going to resolve the losses that are being incurred due to non-working of the machine?

                          Can you please explain the worth of spending so much on purchasing a complete packaged system, along with the on-site warranty, from a company like dell? Your warranty services are clearly not of any use. I think an assembled system from a local vendor will by far be a better option. I agree that you may require to spend a little extra in case any issue arises but it saves you to a great extent from the losses you incur due to time wasted in following up with the customer service representatives.

                          At least, i am thankful that i only purchased one machine from dell and rest of the systems from apple and asus, for my business. I can say that i have not experienced such an unprofessional customer service from any of the other two brands.

                            I was submit my laptop on 2nd october they are given my lappy on 3rd oct in 6.30. After that still its working slow when i ask them then thay are told me i am reset the laptop. I wanted my laptop working fast but still it was slow. Need to improve the performance. They are not supporting good and customer get truobled for that. Laptop still in warrenty period.

                              I purchased a laptop of your company from digital world jalandhar on 20th jan 2018 this year. It is wearing serial no. 4gqkyl2. Now a hardware trouble has been seen on screen. A horizontal odd line is appeared on screen. Photos of problem and tax invoice are attached herewith. My device is under one year warranty. Pls do help me to get your best service. Before this i lodged a compliant about slow working of device. Your service could not solve my problem then.

                                Hello, this is gokul raj from bengaluru, i just bought a dell inspiron 5570 on august 1 2018, after a week i came to know that it has some hardware issues, so i contacted the dell and complained about it and they troubleshooted online via call and they found the hardware issues. As they confirmed it they agreed to replace the whole unit and this case was handled by mrs. Geetali chakaraborty. As my laptop was picked up and i got the replacement unit after a month. I received the replacement unit on[protected]. After a complete investigation i found many issues in the replacement laptop, the issues are mentioned below: 1. Scratches in the backside of the laptop 2. Precision touchpad is upside down and its shaking 3. Display is shaking 4. Electric shock (When not connected to adaptor) 5. Crackling sound when playing a song 6. Automatic restart when using for than 30 minutes 7. Battery is draining in minutes like if i charge the laptop before sleeping next day morning it is only 5 percent without any usage 8. Over heating even when using ms word so contacted the dell support again and i was sharing all my issues to them and one of the support executive mr. Sourav has confirmed that laptop is a refurbished unit and really shocked on hearing his words. I did not expect this from dell. Dell is a international brand and so i spent 75k on this laptop. But they provided me a refurbished laptop, they did not inform me before that they will provide a refurbished laptop the dell support says they are ready to service the laptop, i dont need any part replacement or service, its a new laptop not even 2 days old i have all the call records from dell support i spoke and sourav has confirmed it. I want a fresh sealed laptop or refund me the money i paid laptop details : dell inspiron 5570 service tag : cck2lr2 express service code : [protected]

                                  It feels very bad when company like Dell has major market for it's business in India and even though won't make small efforts to represent india's flag properly . I seriously have issue with ad agency of Dell INDIA couldnt they arrange a orginal flag for it's promotions .ad is for few minutes but little parts of it attract the more people .its very sad to see India flag without Ashoka chakra ( circle ) in it, suck a shame and bad marketing stunt ..please consider the voice of India viewers on behalf of me and relaunch it on social media.
                                  hope it would be done soon .! find the difference in pictures sent ...

                                    Hello,
                                    This is gokul raj from bengaluru, i just bought a dell inspiron 5570 on august 1 2018, after a week i came to know that it has some hardware issues, so i contacted the dell and complained about it and they troubleshooted online via call and they found the hardware issues. As they confirmed it they agreed to replace the whole unit and this case was handled by mrs. Geetali chakaraborty. As my laptop was picked up and i got the replacement unit after a month. I received the replacement unit on[protected]. After a complete investigation i found many issues in the replacement laptop, the issues are mentioned below:

                                    1. Scratches in the backside of the laptop
                                    2. Precision touchpad is upside down and its shaking
                                    3. Display is shaking
                                    4. Electric shock (When not connected to adaptor)
                                    5. Crackling sound when playing a song
                                    6. Automatic restart when using for than 30 minutes
                                    7. Battery is draining in minutes like if i charge the laptop before sleeping next day morning it is only 5 percent without any usage
                                    8. Over heating even when using ms word

                                    These many issues im facing with the replaced laptop, so contacted the dell support again and i was sharing all my issues to them and one of your support executive mr. Sourav has confirmed that the laptop i received a refurbished laptop and really shocked on hearing his words. I did not expect this from dell. Dell is a international brand and moreover my friends recommeded my to buy dell, so i spent 75k on this laptop. But they provided me a refurbished laptop, they did not inform me before that they will provide a refurbished laptop
                                    The dell support says they are ready to service the laptop, i dont need any part replacement or service, its a new laptop not even 2 days old before that i came to know all this issues. I dont want any part replacement or service. I need a full laptop replacement with brand new laptop from a factory or refund me the money i paid
                                    . It looks like dell has cheated and made me fool and looted my money.
                                    I have all the call records from dell support i spoke and sourav has confirmed that its a refurbshed one and i have that call record, if you want all the call records i can share via mail. Your escalation team mrs. Shalu was very rude to me and still now my issues are not solved. My last try is writing a mail to director if this does not work, im going to lodge a police complain against the dell store and dell.
                                    Im not a fool to get fooled, you people will cheat me and im not a mad to get cheated. Kindly provide me with a proper resolution as soon as possible

                                        Bought Nokia 3 on July month beginning for my father. No issues in beginning stages. After OREO update. Change draining problem arrived. With Nokia support chat, uninstalled all 3rd party apps, and did factory reset in that device, but still. After charging 💯 percentage. Leaving mobile for 3 hours without usage. Change is getting reduced to 75percent.
                                        Please resolve this issue get me idea to go back back to old OS.
                                        NEED NEW UPDATE IN OS WERE CHARGE DRAINING PROBLEM WILL NOT BE THERE
