I bought dell laptop latitude model 3480 from jaipuria plaza indirapuram outlet.
Since starting it is having noise issues from inside the laptops. They have changed everything but problem is same. I have told them to give me money back or just replace the laptop. They have changed everything hard disk, fan and tried motherboard also but issue of noise is same. My concern is to replace a new laptop or give my money back. But they people don't reply to phone or emails.

    We purchased the laptop in the month of july 2017 & the laptop come with the accidental cover also.

    We just plug the lan cable but unfortunately the lan not connecting due to the port loose & we locked the complaint for the same & the complaint no is as below:-

    Now, they are saying, this issue not cover under the warranty as its comes under wear & tear but if it comes under wear & tear then we had accidental cover also but the same not covering.

    Behavior of the representative is also so bad, he is trying to be over smart.

    Very bad impression on us as we had around 150 laptops & if this so then it’s very difficult to buy dell laptops in near future.

    Please sort out the issue asap.

    As its under accidental cover but why dell refuse to change the same

      My dell laptop is in warranty. All other buttons are working properly but double/single inverted comma button is not working properly. Kindly look at this asap.
      Even chats with dell customer care is not happening and after downloading the troubleshooting software from dell website, its not working.
      Kindly look at all these problems as soon as possible.

        The laptop with above specs was purchased on 28 october 2017.
        Right from day 1, it had the following problems -
        1) touchpad not working
        2) auto updates not taking place
        3) extreme sluggish performance
        4) heating n burning smell

        On raising multiple requests, emails and phone calls over a period of 35 days..3 engineers have worked on the laptop, defective part replaced twice... Yet there is no sign of improvement and problem stands where it was..
        Laptop is in dell service centre, gurgaon from last 15 days. Even there the engineer fails to find out the problem and are trying to fool us by changing statements on every call.

        They are handing over the machine back to us saying this is how it will work... And we cannot provide further solution.

        Service centre directs to customer care... And customer care smartly directs to service centre again.
        They have made a mockery of customers...
        Dell is making sub standard products and later not accepting.

        3) we contacted the customer care and the service centre in gurgaon... Dell is trying all the best possible methods where customer is not even given the basic information & every time it's being given name of internal matter.

        4. I have even told them that as customer i don't want any further association with such a company who are more interested in selling such products in market. If there is design malfunction then why should i suffer as on sales point the product is not opened till customer has purchased it.

        5. Mr gurpreet singh has mentioned that he is the supreme authority from dell & further resolution will not be given to customer. If that be the case then he should answer why at the sales point these issues are written on notice boards. The details of management representatives are not even shared as they are very much aware that sharing such details will create accountability, which dell doesn't believe.

        6. Product with faulty design are being sold in market & it is being branded as functionality of that model. I don't wish to have such a product which have been supplied without even basic quality check by the company. The product has failed on many accounts. The number of problems the machine has encountered is direct reflection of product quality being manufacted by dell.

        7. The redressal mechanism doesn't seems to exist in dell. As manager at every level becomes hindrance to achieve any solution.

        8. As customer the intention of buying a laptop is to execute daily routine task in efficient manner. However such intention has taken a backseat where as customer i am being made liable to prove the basic problems such products. The frustration and agony after paying hard earned money can't be taken for granted by companies like dell.

            Hi dell,
            I came to this point because one of your lady support expert 'bano' from dell support disconnected the call and forget that thing which should be maintained by a customer support. She was talking like frustrated lady... Really i am saying by god.. You can go ahead and check the recording... I purchase dell laptop for my comfort... Not to talk with you guys for this # issue.. If i paid then you have to provide service... These are the issue im facing since i purchase. Even initially i was having issue with frequent boot.. So one of your executive came and changed the back pannel and battery.. So within this 6 month so many issue i faced and for this if im calling to customer care and they are disconnecting the call and behaving like rude.. Please take action on bano... And i want my issue to be resolved as soon as possible. If not possible please take my laptop and send a new peace.
            Purchase date — 23 july 2017,
            1. System is taking too much of time to start,
            2. Support assist apps shows the old warranty,
            3. Heating issue,
            4. Getting shutdown automatically,
            5. Apps are not responding,
            6. Ms office is not working.

              I have purchased dell inspiron 3000 laptop on 4.3.2015 from brightsum dell exclusive store gulbarga karnataka (Srvice tag 7pg9v232, express service code [protected]). Within 4 months my keyboard was not working. Customer care advised me to format my laptop, i did it. Still the problem continued, for next two months. Latter on my touchscreen was not working. I did complain to dell, because i was not able to work with that problem. They replaced my keyboard and touchscreen in february 2016. The next day they said mother board was not working and they replaced mother board also. Latter, the screen was blinking within 20 days of replacement. I did complain to dell. Product quality is very poor. I am not satisfied with this quality. I paid rs 40000 for the laptop and i have suffered a lot. Nearly 20 times i had been to dell showroom, 10 times i have talked to customer care and once i had been to service center also. Now dell excepted me to pay rs 9000 for cc warranty extension.in spite of safe handling for my phd work, this product has given lot of problems to me. My work has got hampered. I am not satisfied with this. Neither they extended my warranty nor replaced the laptop itself. I had a fear that, this laptop will not work good in future. So i paid rs 9000/- and got the warranty extended till 19th april 2018.

              Again wifi unit was not working-they replaced, they cracked my laptop panel while repairing-they replaced panel, after some days keyboard was not working-they replaced, after some days laptop was getting heated up charger war not working, they replaced all the parts one by one by taking one week every duration respectively. Again same problem now, and this time lcd was getting heated up and i noticed a crack on it on 24/01/2018, touch was not working, it is not a physical damage, it is damage due to pressure on lcd because of internal part failure and heat dissipation. They want me to pay rs 14650 for service of this inferior quality product, stating that it is physical damage after taking week time.
              Dell product and service has wasted my valuable time and money. Now i am in need of laptop urgently, as my work is hampered and stopped again since from last 24/01/2018 date.
              I am dell consumers and i am entitled to seek relie[censored]nder the consumer protection act. I have been cheated and harassed in many ways, many times, as i have been provided with inferior quality laptop and inferior service.
              Before formally filing a consumer complaint in consumer court, i had given a notice to dell and brightsum dell exclusive store gulbarga karnataka, of the fact of deficiency in service and bad quality of product. My time worth rs 1lakh has been wasted by dell. I need justice. I have asked dell to make good the loss suffered by me.
              This is an official complain regarding the product i have taken.

                Dell India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                Dell will not do anything except offer replacement of ANY PART, Including Motherboard with Used / Refurbished / repaired and tested Mother board under Warranty. These are their Warranty conditions. Ive faced the same problem and hence can vouch for their pathetic service. My only suggestion to all Consumers, Please do your due diligence and problems people are facing before investing in any brand!
                A Dell LED Monitor 20 inch has been purchased by me on 17 Feb 18. When I unboxed the monitor I did not find the VGA and Power Cable in the box. Later I contacted the dealer. He replied that contact with company. I gave you a sealed box. He could not help me.

                  I am an ex employee of dell international services (Bpo) chennai @ ambit it park and main branch @ dlf it park.

                  I was relieved from service with dell on sep 2014 from then i was trying to withdraw my pf but they keep saying each time something is missing for apply and especially they (H. R for p. F procedure) were not available on all the time. Only specified day in a week. So because of their so kind & helpful nature i was unable to applied till i left india (Almost 2 years)...

                  Last year in 2017 i was back to india on my leave and after roaming multiple times around the office finally i got opportunity to meet h. R. For pf department with proper procedure to apply which was hardly happened with in 30 minutes (Which was supposed to happens 3 years before if they were willing to assist employee properly).

                  After applying my p. F withdrawal procedure h. R. Informed us which will take up to 3 months average... But no information so long after i left india & back to my work in oman. Only problem my indian contact number not working so i was unable to received any update status but when i checked online by using uan & my pf number... Which was surprising me when i look at the result it shows there was no claim details found under my pf account or uan... I really don't know what to do and how to contact proper responsible persons about this... Even i have been enquired with pf office with my person as per them company not yet send any details about my pf account. So its something mess up happened with dell international internally. They always maintain high professional privacy where even employee can not able to contact them for any queries by telephone or email with proper responding manner...

                  So if someone from the respective department found my complaint please assist me with the proper solution. I am clearly telling that again i can not able to come to the branch directly just like that because for my job its not easy to take a leave and coming back to india again & again applying for the same.

                  My Dell Inspiron 13 is 11 month old. Since purchase it is too slow to work with. Simple PDF/Word file/PPT takes too much time to open and perform.
                  Audio output port for earphone connection is also not working for last few months. Please fix the problems as soon as possible.
                  Win starting time 15-30 min this system not work properly i call the castmer care but i not found any solution their speaker is very problematic i want to my pc is replace i am not satisfy your company products because these not work properly

                    My work is stopted from 24/01/2018. As per my conversation with mr mukesh_kumar on 31/01/2018 he said to give compliant to consumer legal grievances and got to consumer court. Already four times failed parts of my laptop, have been replaced, no guaranty further laptop will work good, after my warranty period gets over on 16 april 2018. This time, its not worth to pay nearly rs 15000 for such an inferior quality laptop lcd (Sv. Tag:7p9v232), for damages caused by internal heat and pressures, its not an accident. Again because of same insecurity, that this laptop part will fail, i have pay another rs 9000 for increasing warranty period. Insted, will buy new laptop of other company. I will hire an advocate to go consumer court with same amount.
                    I am your consumers and i am entitled to seek relie[censored]nder the
                    Consumer protection act. I have been cheated, my time has been wasted

                      We purchased dell 5570 laptop on 26th jan 2018 evening. Night time using laptop it's noice i find... Register complaint on dell. Complaint number :[protected]
                      & technician visited and he told me hardisk and motherbord problem.. I need replacement on urgent basis.. I get mail from dell clearly mention hardisk and motherbord issue i need replacement

                      While i power on my laptop then display get blank for sometime, after 5 mint works ..
                      Dell will not do anything except offer replacement of Motherboard with Used / Refurbished / repaired and tested Mother board under Warranty. These are their Warranty conditions. Ive faced the same problem and hence can vouch for their pathetic service. My only suggestion to all Consumers, Please do your due diligence and problems people are facing before investing in any brand!

                          Each time i call them they are saying wait for 48hrs and after 2 week they said that invoice in invalid,
                          After resenting the invoice picture they took other 2 weeks and finally after lots of calls by me they said that the monitor is not a dell made one and hence they cant provide me the warranty.
                          The store from which i bought the monitor says that the warranty is claimed by a centralized service from dell through this kind of call centers
                          So i am unable to replace the monitor
                          Its more than 2 months now and still they are saying that issue will be solved within 24 hrs

                            I have a dell vostro 5459 which is still under warranty. I am facing an issue since day one. I contacted the call centre on 3rd january’18 and until today my issue is still been dragging. I have written several mails to mr. Ravi gutta too and even he is not responding nor directing his team to work on my issue.
                            1) my complaint was my finger print scanner not working since day one and my system takes half an hour to start (Rebooting is very slow)
                            2) your call centre team took remote access of my laptop and corrupted my os. They were supposed to reboot my os but they restarted (This statement was said and confirmed by your call centre/tech support executives).
                            3) your tech support said the technical person will not come home to reinstall my os irrespectively i have two year additional warranty.
                            4) hence i had the trouble of taking my laptop to your authorised service centre, m/s. Regenersis at egmore and had my os reinstalled.
                            5) your technical support confirmed after reinstalling my os still finger print scanner is/was not working and hence the part has to be replaced.
                            6) with great difficulty and argument got the same changed and now it is working.
                            7) now again my ram is slow so they said i can increase my ram to 4gb and then i should get my speed. This laptop has only one slot and hence i have to purchase 8gb ram which means my 4gb will be of no use.
                            8) its been 10days i am yet to received a quote leave alone to parts.
                            Even writing several mails to mr. Ravi gutta, i don’t know why is the team not acting on this. At one stage your call centre says, dell does not support in upgrading the ram. Is this true? Seeing the current condition of all executives dilly dallying, i am thinking whatever the tech support said may be true.
                            Probably because dell does/might not have confidence of their own product or their services. Iknow i am being rude but i waiting patiently for 22 days and now i get a mail from mr. Rajashekar kumbar
                            Stating that dell does not support part upgrade. Does each department act independently. I am surprised even the head of vostro is not aware of this. I can very well walk into any of the dell stroes and ugrade the ram but again dell will say since you upgraded the ram the warranty will not be covered. Unfortunatelyi am struck with you for the next couple of years as i have taken extended warranty thinking dell services would be great. I am repending for buying dell and also for buying the extended warranty.

                            Would want the intervention of the heads to look into the same and kindly advice as to what i should do?

                              In 2007 i bought a dell laptop which i used for 4.5 years without any problem except battery that’s okay i can manage with charger at least.in 2011 i bought a macbook and used for 5 years with minor issues like charger (6000₹) lost one key (Still button works) fo that i should change complete keyboard (7000₹) which i haven’t done.in 2016 again i bought a dell i5 intel core within one and half year i lost my intel graphic card which is associated with mother board and faced problem with display and their staff is irresponsible and they are about to charge 20000₹ for this because this is out of warranty. So please take some action on them. Make a compulsory warranty period of 3 years for any product through out india.

                                I had purchased two dell laptops from dell latitude compuinida they have given us different product what was committed and quote at time of trade i have been approaching that guy and his manager from 3 weeks but not getting any response from them

                                I think dell should take a call on this we are premium customer of dell and comers in sme industries and been waiting for response of dell

                                  I have made a request of a service that my laptop fan is not working and i send the request on 17 January 2018 and it is still unattended and i have a serious problem here as i am not been able to work on my laptop i am having a accidental warranty and which is expiring on the 28 January AND I think that they just want to not repair my laptop and they just want to get rid of me.

                                    Within 20 days DELL Laptop starts giving problems. In 8 Months of purchase, DELL has offered to replace Mother Board, Touch Pad, Battery, Cables, Screen of a faulty laptop. And the best part ... these parts will be refurbished. So you don't know if you get a 2 year old reconditioned Mother Board and other parts. First they supply a defective Laptop (over other companies I have Experienced, DELL is the most low Quality Product) then they Show you the rule book of Refurbished Part replacement under their one sided terms. Do you as a Consumer have a choice? You are stuck with a Laptop that doesn't work, DELL shows you rule book that repaired parts will be put into your system with only a 90 day warranty on these, and no guarantee that your Laptop won't give you problems again. Man has reached the Moon, DELL is still producing Cheap Low Quality laptops that are bound to give you trouble. Guys, AVOID THIS BRAND !!

                                      So let me begin it this way...

                                      Family Members (FM) - "Since you want a high end laptop why not take Mac? Why Dell?"
                                      ME: "I've been using Dell since 7 years...I think I'll stick to DELL" (MISTAKE NO 1 - Ignoring the suggestion)
                                      FM: "Are you sure! Think over!"
                                      Me: "I have my loyalties with Dell...I won't change my mind. (MISTAKE NO 2 - Not seeing the warning)

                                      What next? I go and make my purchases and show my devotion to Dell!!!

                                      Day 5 of purchase - Noticed Touchpad Issue
                                      Step taken: Contact Dell for immediate assistance. To my surprise, I realize during my call with the CSE that my warranty expires in 1 month!! (READ - DAY 5 from purchase of laptop)
                                      Action: I send my bill as proof, they rectify it. Then they mention, the touchpad will also be replaced as they agreed its faulty.

                                      Day 15 of purchase - Screen freeze, start bar freeze
                                      Step taken: Contact Dell, they take remote access. Make some settings, ask me to observe system and revert.

                                      Day 20 - Not just facing screen freeze and start bar freeze issue, now my application and task bar also freezes!
                                      Step taken: Contact Dell, they take remote access. Make some settings, ask me to observe system and revert.

                                      Day 25 - Wohi rona dhona!!!
                                      Step taken: Contact Dell, they take remote access. Make some settings, ask me to observe system and revert.

                                      After a MONTH, with this constant emails and support, (trust me I can now write a manual of instructions on how to give remote access to Dell, contact so many times) they finally mention I should get my OS reinstalled.

                                      Take backups, get the OS reinstalled!

                                      Outcome: My wifi started giving trouble too.

                                      Solution: Maam please install CCleaner, disable skype to run on start of window and your problem will be sorted. (In my mind, wow really!)

                                      I patiently agree (although I know it's the silliest suggestion ever), and for what?
                                      To continue facing this issue.

                                      Here comes the new twist: My laptops start heating up so much that I can probably use it to heat my food(This is Dec month where the temp was almost between 12 - 20 degree C!! And TRUST me when I say this... I try to use my tablet and realize my USB Port doesn't work either...What next...The fans (2 fans) don't work too!!!

                                      This went on for SIX MONTHS!!! Finally, most of my hardware was replaced after loads of issues and misbehaviour faced by CSE.

                                      Outcome: I'm still facing multiple issues and have no solution.

                                      Frustrated I asked to speak to a higher authority and get a call from Escalation team...

                                      6 months of being PATIENT and POLITE and I get to hear 'Ma'am please try to understand'

                                      TRY TO UNDERSTAND? DID I just hear TRY to UNDERSTAND coz I was asking questions for a solution and was frustrated (Imagine my time, resource, and money put in - I'm a freelancer, every minute for me counts).

                                      Here I am finally with no solution...all I'm told to do is reinstall my OS (which mind you was already done prior as well with no success)

                                      I NEED TO CONTACT SOMEONE SENSIBLE WHO CAN GET ME A SOLUTION AND HOLDS SOME AUTHORITY TO TAKE SENSIBLE DECISIONS.

                                      My laptop is not for experiment purpose, where each CSE keeps changing some or the other settings and tells me oh this setting was missing and that setting wasn't enabled and what not!!!

                                      Disheartned, Irked, Vexed DELL USER!!!

                                      Could we give negative ratings. ? Lower than one star. ? This is what DELL Deserves. Most substandard product quality and bad after sales support. In a few months old laptops these ### want to replace practically all parts with used and second hand parts. What’s THE BEST part ?? It’s stated in their Warranty Terms, which we innocent buyers don’t pay heed to when we put our hard earned money in these low standard products. I’ve used other better laptops and my sincere advice, don’t waste your money in DELL. You are only buying headaches. Buy local cheap brands instead. At least they will work for a few years.

                                      Very unfortunately it is mentioned in terms of sale and warranty of Asus, HP too that they use refurbished parts

                                        Since the date 17 december onwards the lap top is not functioning properly i went on the showroom from where purchased they said we have no responsibility at all about the problems you either complaint to microsoft or dell company. Now the microsoft saying our sw is ok and dell company is evading by pretesting one after another excuses and delaying. I have spend almost one month and not believe that my complaint will be cared by dell india. Please help me like innocent customer who is a student and lapsed valuable one month of my studies by either calling to microsoft and dell company or moving to one service centre to another on their telephonic long waited advises.
