Within 20 days DELL Laptop starts giving problems. In 8 Months of purchase, DELL has offered to replace Mother Board, Touch Pad, Battery, Cables, Screen of a faulty laptop. And the best part ... these parts will be refurbished. So you don't know if you get a 2 year old reconditioned Mother Board and other parts. First they supply a defective Laptop (over other companies I have Experienced, DELL is the most low Quality Product) then they Show you the rule book of Refurbished Part replacement under their one sided terms. Do you as a Consumer have a choice? You are stuck with a Laptop that doesn't work, DELL shows you rule book that repaired parts will be put into your system with only a 90 day warranty on these, and no guarantee that your Laptop won't give you problems again. Man has reached the Moon, DELL is still producing Cheap Low Quality laptops that are bound to give you trouble. Guys, AVOID THIS BRAND !!

    So let me begin it this way...

    Family Members (FM) - "Since you want a high end laptop why not take Mac? Why Dell?"
    ME: "I've been using Dell since 7 years...I think I'll stick to DELL" (MISTAKE NO 1 - Ignoring the suggestion)
    FM: "Are you sure! Think over!"
    Me: "I have my loyalties with Dell...I won't change my mind. (MISTAKE NO 2 - Not seeing the warning)

    What next? I go and make my purchases and show my devotion to Dell!!!

    Day 5 of purchase - Noticed Touchpad Issue
    Step taken: Contact Dell for immediate assistance. To my surprise, I realize during my call with the CSE that my warranty expires in 1 month!! (READ - DAY 5 from purchase of laptop)
    Action: I send my bill as proof, they rectify it. Then they mention, the touchpad will also be replaced as they agreed its faulty.

    Day 15 of purchase - Screen freeze, start bar freeze
    Step taken: Contact Dell, they take remote access. Make some settings, ask me to observe system and revert.

    Day 20 - Not just facing screen freeze and start bar freeze issue, now my application and task bar also freezes!
    Step taken: Contact Dell, they take remote access. Make some settings, ask me to observe system and revert.

    Day 25 - Wohi rona dhona!!!
    Step taken: Contact Dell, they take remote access. Make some settings, ask me to observe system and revert.

    After a MONTH, with this constant emails and support, (trust me I can now write a manual of instructions on how to give remote access to Dell, contact so many times) they finally mention I should get my OS reinstalled.

    Take backups, get the OS reinstalled!

    Outcome: My wifi started giving trouble too.

    Solution: Maam please install CCleaner, disable skype to run on start of window and your problem will be sorted. (In my mind, wow really!)

    I patiently agree (although I know it's the silliest suggestion ever), and for what?
    To continue facing this issue.

    Here comes the new twist: My laptops start heating up so much that I can probably use it to heat my food(This is Dec month where the temp was almost between 12 - 20 degree C!! And TRUST me when I say this... I try to use my tablet and realize my USB Port doesn't work either...What next...The fans (2 fans) don't work too!!!

    This went on for SIX MONTHS!!! Finally, most of my hardware was replaced after loads of issues and misbehaviour faced by CSE.

    Outcome: I'm still facing multiple issues and have no solution.

    Frustrated I asked to speak to a higher authority and get a call from Escalation team...

    6 months of being PATIENT and POLITE and I get to hear 'Ma'am please try to understand'

    TRY TO UNDERSTAND? DID I just hear TRY to UNDERSTAND coz I was asking questions for a solution and was frustrated (Imagine my time, resource, and money put in - I'm a freelancer, every minute for me counts).

    Here I am finally with no solution...all I'm told to do is reinstall my OS (which mind you was already done prior as well with no success)

    I NEED TO CONTACT SOMEONE SENSIBLE WHO CAN GET ME A SOLUTION AND HOLDS SOME AUTHORITY TO TAKE SENSIBLE DECISIONS.

    My laptop is not for experiment purpose, where each CSE keeps changing some or the other settings and tells me oh this setting was missing and that setting wasn't enabled and what not!!!

    Disheartned, Irked, Vexed DELL USER!!!

    Could we give negative ratings. ? Lower than one star. ? This is what DELL Deserves. Most substandard product quality and bad after sales support. In a few months old laptops these ### want to replace practically all parts with used and second hand parts. What’s THE BEST part ?? It’s stated in their Warranty Terms, which we innocent buyers don’t pay heed to when we put our hard earned money in these low standard products. I’ve used other better laptops and my sincere advice, don’t waste your money in DELL. You are only buying headaches. Buy local cheap brands instead. At least they will work for a few years.

    Very unfortunately it is mentioned in terms of sale and warranty of Asus, HP too that they use refurbished parts

      Since the date 17 december onwards the lap top is not functioning properly i went on the showroom from where purchased they said we have no responsibility at all about the problems you either complaint to microsoft or dell company. Now the microsoft saying our sw is ok and dell company is evading by pretesting one after another excuses and delaying. I have spend almost one month and not believe that my complaint will be cared by dell india. Please help me like innocent customer who is a student and lapsed valuable one month of my studies by either calling to microsoft and dell company or moving to one service centre to another on their telephonic long waited advises.

        The speaker of my laptop (Dell inspiron 5559) is not working well from the date of purchase i. E.[protected] and now this problem is happening 5th time even after replacement of related hardware as well as software including operating system. I had requested them to either solve this problem permanently or give me a replacement of that product but this problem is occurring again and again and they are unable to resolve it and even they are refusing to give me a new product as replacement.

          Gave my dell laptop (Inspiron n5110) for the repair at dell service center, tilak road, pune on 14th december, 2016 (Dsp reference no:- 'enq/dgpune - 2/16-17/0004261-p', service tag:- dbdfnp1).
          Before that, about 6-7 months back; i gave the laptop to fix wifi issue and battery replacement to some outside service center. Laptop worked properly for about one months, but could not started. So, i gave it to same outside service center to fix the issue. They checked and said it is because of reverse current and need to replace one ic which will cost around rs. 2500/-. I refused to give it and decided to give it to authorized dell service center. And submitted to dell service center, tilak road, pune on 14th december, 2016 as i mentioned above.
          While submitting, i explicitly mentioned above story to them and expected the best service. But they took about 22 days to give it to me back and said laptop is dead and can't be repaired. I shocked by hearing that as outside service center engineer said to just replace an ic to start it back and dell engineers are saying it is dead. Also, they haven't gave me any report or receipt of the case. When i asked, they said they will send it via email, but i don't get it it it. Fortunately, i took photos of the report. Pfa for the same.
          So, i gave my laptop back to the outside service center, where i gave previously. When they opened the laptop again in front of me, we found that motherboard is replaced with the tempered one. The outside engineer said, it is not the same which he worked previously as he made some mark using marker on it. And i also saw that the motherboard was so tempered that buslines and ics were missing. Also, laptop was working for about a month properly after wifi fix at the outside service center. And the tempered motherboard is so bad that it can't even start the laptop or blink any light indicator. So motherboard was changed at dell service center only.
          When i visited dell service center again, they said we haven't done anything, laptop was outside opened, we don't accept outside opened laptops.
          But they couldn't answered below questions:
          1) as i told explicitly at the time of submitting laptop that previously i repaired it outside, why you accepted it?
          2) if it is outside opened and tempered motherboard installed by outside service center, how it worked perfectly fine for a month.
          3) if it is outside opened, why you took about 22 days to investigate. Normal human can easily see tempered motherboard if you just remove keyboard.
          4) why you didn't send/give me the report/receipt/document related to my case.
          After discussing this issue with many people over the year. I found many people which got such kind of service from the only authorized dell service center in tilak road, pune.

          Hoping for the resolution and action against the dell service center.

          I haven't get any update about my complaint yet. If not resolved in next 10 days, I am going to file a complaint against both Dell India & Service Center in the Consumer Court.

            Hi,
            I request you to forward this mail to the persons concerned so that an immediate action is made effective.
            I had gone to purchase a dell laptop at srirampore (Dell authorized showroom), hooghly, west bengal, india and after making my choice i was told that a card payment was not acceptable. A two percent extra would be charged if i would pay by my card. The showroom was ready to give me in writing stating that it was the company policy throughout.
            I could hardly believe what i heard and left the store without the purchase.
            When our prime minister is trying to make this country minimize its corruption encouraging people to go digital - an authorized showroom of dell gives me this crap and sounded least bothered whether i bought the laptop or not.
            Moreover, the sales person explained that the percentage wouldn't be charged if i make several swipes, each of less than rs.2000. The selected model would have taken me 21 swipes to save my 2 percent!
            Possible in india!
            Could you help? Please?

              Problem: the page automatically scroll down at the end and unable to manage at the top/desired place.

              I am facing problems from the last one year and your warranty is about to expire in the month of january, 2018. I have contacted to the customer care about the problem and they had suggest me to format the system and get a new window. I have installed the new windows two times but the problem still exists.

              I am fed of the existing problem and the dell service center is unable to sort out the problem. Once they said to install window 8 and then they said 8 is not compatible with this laptop. Once again get installed a new version of window 8.1 and they assured that the problem will be sort out but all in vain. The problem is still existing.

              Therefore it is requested to refund my money as your service center is unable to sort out my problem and whenever laptop is required i found it hectic and irritating after spending about rs. 33 k.

              It is also mentioned that the problem i am facing from the last one year and some time later your service center and company will be in position to say that the warranty expired as its warranty will expire in january, 2018.

              It is once again request to refund my money as i have no faith in dell.

              Hi Dell,

              I bought dell inspiron 7570 2 days back and upto my surprise this laptop makes too much noise. It is irritating and does not let me focus on development. I seems fan noise to cool down the laptop but this is to loud when you work silently.

                  My self raju living in tirupathi. I have been facing a problem “ 7 beeps and black screen “ with my dell laptop inspiron 3542 model.in order to resolve the problem i have approached the dell exclusive store in tirupati (Sravya technologies). They said that they are one of the authorised service centers in tirupati. Believing their words i gave my laptop to them for service. After 2 days they gave back saying that “the problem has been resolved and it won’t be repeat again “ with in one week the same problem was repeated, i gave it back for service again after doing service 2 time returned.
                  The same process repeats again and again. Now also i am facing the same problem.
                  Can you please check whether the store “ sravya technologies “ is authorized by dell or not?
                  Recently i came to know that they are not authorized by dell as service center. They are misusing the goodwill and brand value of dell and misleading the customers with name of dell exclusive store for sales ans service

                    Problem in sound port.. I have visited service center 3 times. But they didn't solve the problem at all.. Again again i'm facing same problem but they are reluctant to it.. I told them again again about the problem but they are not at all taking it seriously and as a result i have to go there every month because of only one single problem.. The sound port is not working properly sometimes it is working sometimes not..

                      Hi... I am raju from tirupathi.. I am get an service for my laptop with 7beeps problem. I will pay service charges as they said. I trust the service because it was authorized by dell. I will give my lap and they will give the assurence after service its clear no further issue with these... But i get again and again i patiently asked and visite the service center 5times... But i did not solve my problem... On first they said some board and later time bios... But nowthe mother board is weak you need to change... I ask the person who is in store what is this are you doing the service or not... But he replies sir you will give the laptop for beep problembut now there no beeps if beeps come agian i will give refund.. Now sir we will not give refund and now they said the system mother board is weak and it it cost more than a 10, 000rupees... It not good to dell service.. I dont know you will give an authorization to sravya technology or not but i trust them by see the board luke dell exclusive sales and service... They did not give any bill also... Give me explanation

                        Purchased this laptop on 30th oct 2017 and on 2nd nov 2017 i started facing issue with daughter board of laptop and from that i have raised complaint to dell service support and they send us technical person who told about issue with daughter board and told us that they will replace that part and get new part but now that incident has took a months but still i haven't got any proper response

                          When i was using the LAPTOP, automatically a square inch patch (black color) has appeared ( left side bottom) and continuously flickering for full length of the screen bottom & Right side ( Horizontally & Vertically for an inch width).
                          The incident took place at 1.30 pm.So immediately i had closed it, traced your service center and reported around 5.00 O cloak.Absolutely no physical damage had happened what so ever manner.I had shown to your service center also. But your service center said that, they would sent to Dell and get back.
                          I have six DELL laptops with me. I am attaching invoice copy of all of them.
                          Absolutely no damage done at my end. Service center has also said that. i am attaching the report for your ref. DSP Ref : ENQ/DGCH/17-18/0005450
                          Hence requesting you to consider warranty and do the needful.

                            I had purchased my laptop in august 2017. After using it for certain number of months my touchpad is not working. I complained about it on 6 december. They tried to resolve the issue over phone which it took 1 hour. The service representative then said their senior will call me and try to resolve the issue. When they called, it again wasted my 1 hour over the call again doing the same procedure. The service representative were very rude when i told them can they call back after 15 mins.

                            Further the arranged a technician visit to my place. My visit was scheduled on 15 december between 4-6pm. He called my at 2pm saying he will come in 30 mins. I again called him at 2.45pm and he said that he will take another 45 mins. I again called him at 5pm and he further said that he will take more 1 hour.in this process i had to take half day leave.

                            The touch pad issue was resolved. When i opened the laptop next day, the display was not working.

                            A normal consumer is being harassed by supplying poor quality products and providing very poor service.

                              I purchased this laptop on 19.10.2017. I was entitled for an offer of additional warranty of 2 yrs at Rs. 999. I was told to register my product & request for the addl. warranty on Dell's website till 27 Oct. I did so on 24 Oct. However, I was denied stating that I had to register on partner website which they didn't inform earlier. I raised a complaint with Dell Customer Care & they confirmed to provide additional warranty via email dated 14.11.2017. However, they refused later on & stopped responding.

                                I have given my laptop for service @ 5 computers dell exclusive store shop number 314 (B/c), 80 feet road hrbr layout, bengaluru. It was given for service on 09/12/2017. Since from the day one no one has called me for assistance/ clarification now today (16/12/2017).

                                Also after 8 days when we went to the shop to ask about the laptop, they informed us to that they have changed the ic and need to pay 2900 inorder to get my laptop back. But when we checked whether the laptop was not functioning properly. Still the issue was existing.

                                But they are not ready to provide the laptop back and behaving rudely with us to go and do whatever we want.

                                Very bad customer service.

                                  My new dell inspiron 7560 (Only four months old) has been making a horrible screeching noise since day one. Dell service centres (Delhi and kolkata) have replaced the hard drive twice in the last one month. The noise still persists. I demand that dell replace my machine entirely. It is unacceptable that a laptop so expensive has a manufacturing defect.

                                    We bought a new dell inspiron 5567. From day one the store app is not working. When we contacted the dell exclusive store from where we bought this laptop, we were told to contact their toll free number. On 12/12/2017, support staff made us to hold the line by connecting to various and right departments for nearly 40 minutes and finally their technical team disconnected the line without addressing the issue.

                                    Now today we had the same experience. They made us to hold the call for nearly 30 minutes and told us that since software is not under warranty they cannot help us. Horrible as the laptop is only a week old.
                                    Dell India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                      Dear sir,
                                      I have purchase dell i3 laptop in march 2017
                                      The laptop has hanging problem from 1st day

                                      I have change window 3 time but problem remain same in aug months i had complaind in customer care and dell resolve it on online but problem not solved

                                      After this 6th nov laptop harddisk failed and i have loss of my data but dell not help in recovering data and change only harddisk (Toshiba brand)

                                      Now i have use c gat harddisk but into 15 days harddik fail again and i have loss of data

                                      So,

                                      Pls change the laptop or refund my payment because i have loss of my business and i m feeling harshment

                                        Two months back i have purchased built in cpu computor 20 inches, recently i started working on this unit. Unfortunatly while on working automatically it goes to sleeping mode. But it will not recover from sleeping mode. At the same time power is on. If i want to start working, i have to disconnect power cable and restart it. I called your call centre, they told us it is software mistake, they advised to approch dealer. I contacted dealer (I purchased from dell show room located at sadashivanagar) but he advised to take the computer service centre at far from my location. Is it the system of branded company. The software loaded by company while selling the computer. We have purchased on good faith now company showroom people not taking responsibility of computer working condition.
