    I bought a new laptop 10 days back from a dealer in ranchi, now i am staying in bhawanipatna in the state of odisha.in my new laptop i am facing both hardware and software problem which is in connection to the touch pad of my new laptop. The top right corner of me laptop is not functioning well, when i touch the top corner multiple applications are getting open. Random applications are getting opened. And my system is going to magnify mode automatically.

    So its a kind request to your service team to please send a service engineer to my place so that it can be rectified.

    My model is dell inspiron 15 3000 series.

      DELL DOES NOT HONOR ITS WARRANTY #NeverDellNever

      For Black Friday Dell has sent out a brochure claiming half price on its computers. Don't buy it, I mean this figuratively and literally. Be on guard to the other holidays coming up as well. If a company is not respectable enough to honor the warranty then you are essentially are buying a computer without one. How much of a reduction in price does that carry when there are so many fine other computers out there? My laptop had a myriad of things go wrong with it, in less than a year. DELL suddenly forgot what a warranty is. They sent mine back with the message and I quote "your laptop has been returned to you unrepaired." I recommend you don't buy from this company at all - not even at 70% off. In less than a year you could end up with a very expensive doorstop.

      My whole experience is recounted below:

      A Tom's Guide complaint about Dell in 2015 asked, "Is DELL's customer service as bad as they say?" I couldn't say for sure but I can tell you its really bad right now.We're talking about a company that will do most anything to avoid making good on its warranty. Senior management knows, (I wrote most of them) they just choose to do nothing about it and they're sitting on my laptop. They've neither fixed nor returned it. (Just recently it was returned not a single problem fixed nor probably looked at).

      I told Karan, one of the DELL "managers" in India, that the corporate unresolved issues website isn't working. I'll make note of it and make another post later in the week. I tried a few more times and gave up on that avenue of communication.

      Meanwhile, I told him in the interest of complete transparency, I'm going to post this email on the ripped off consumer websites both Domestic and International.. Karan probably knows most off the same ones I do. Turns out DELL gets a lot of complaints about its customer service.

      54 emails. That's how many since September. Always, the same lame people offering the same lame communication that they had drilled into them during training. It could not be more clear: DELL ii trying .to duck it's responsibility to repair under warranty. There was a brief attempt by your people to shift responsibility - "there's a spill on the keyboard, " I was told. No, I've understood the responsibility that needs to be exercised around electronics since I was five.

      If there was a spill then it happened at your shop, I told him. After this response the best his team could do is to repeat itself endlessly though at least two or three promised they would take care of it and then didn't. Generally, the corporate line was towed, in hope that the customer would go away. I know this technique. I teach it. Nissan (like virtually all Japanese companies) has been using the strategy since the late 80s early 90s. Prior to a piece I wrote, I spoke to their Director of Communication in Smyrna. Of course, the difference between DELL and Nissan is that I've never been sorry I purchased something from Nissan. DELL's another story.

      I told the employees, if the laptop is not back in my hands, fixed to my satisfaction and at no cost: then I would launch a media campaign using web, social media and all the usual resources. DELL was once a good company, everything indicates it no longer is. The laptop was a problem as soon as I hit the power button - or are you going to claim 100% quality assurance. As a Professor of Communication the campaign isn't going to be taxing. I come into contact with hundreds, if not thousands of Professors worldwide through conferences. The academic community will want to know what caused DELL to go downhill so badly. Don't call me. Fix it or don't. I don't want to hear anymore about why you are going to evade responsibility for your job. The story is nonsense both in reasoning and content.

      Please know, I'll continue the campaign until it takes root. Also, I'll have a good American technician have a look at the unit so they can tell me what you did. It's not a threat. It's simply my communication plan as expressed in 55 (now) emails and over the course of months..

      Find someone at Dell who can read and ask them to help you process the messages I wrote you last. It could not be more direct. The point where I was interested in discussion has long since passed.

      Once, I had a problem with my Lenovo. Want to know what that company's team said? "In three days you'll get a box. Send it in, we'll take care of it." It was five out, fixed, and back. My Lenovo 910 runs like new. The difference in corporate practice is stark and perhaps that is all the consumer needs to know.

      Monetary Loss: $1200.
      Preferred solution: Full refund.

      I wrote everyone in DELL america the President, the Vice President, the Vice President for Customer Care - not one sent as much as a single sentence email. If DELL Care's it's not about the customer. There is such great variety in the computer market, many of excellent quality and excellent service (see Lenovo above). Buy one of DELL's competitors and save yourself a lot of heartache and headache. Don't just take it from me. Run a web search and see what consumers are saying about DELL's customer service.

        Hi team, i have submitted my laptop for in warranty repair on the 13/11/2017 and still waiting for part. Service center has confirm that they have requested for parts the same day. I have called multiple times to service center they are giving the same excuse that waiting for parts. I have spoken to then today and they have mention parts will be available next month and was referred to dell customer center. I have spoken with dell customer care they have asked me visit the store call from there this is not accepted as i m using the laptop for business and without it for 1 or more month is not acceptable. I have purchase a device from you and if parts are not available you have to make other arrangements for me.
        I have spoken with dell customer care and was promised that they will expedite the part availability or give alternate option however they are not giving any option.
        Just telling me wait till 7/12/2017 that not acceptable to be without laptop for 2o days

          I order (Order no.[protected] dell laptop inspiron 3520 battery on 13nov2017 i recevied it on 19nov2017 from dell authorised shipment dealer gng electronics pvt ltd. Add:- gng electronics pvt ltd, c/o ych logistics india pvt ltd, no.67, mathiravedu village, vellappanchavadi, chennai, tamil nadu - 600077.

          The product received by me is dell inspiron n5010 which is not order by me. The product is defective also unable to take charge only discharing. When i am complaining about it they are not agree to refund or replace please help me.

            I have bought vostro 5459 dell laptop one years ago from punjabi and its good laptop. As you know, it has three usb ports, but this time i can`t plug anything to this laptop as it is not recognized means not detected totally. Pendrive, keyboar, mouse anything is not detecting on my laptop. I have tried a lot to solve it but nothing found.

              I have purchased new laptop from amazon having service tag number 2l728f2, on first day bio matric not working, i load a complaint on same day in dell and dell fixed issue for the same by using my internet services and my 3-4h time.

              After one week i got second issue with hard drive, hard drive have same clicking noise and i load complaint also and dell replaced hard drive in my new laptop, but issue not resolve with new hard drive, replacement hard drive have clicking noise.

              After 20-22 days one side speaker got stop, and again my laptop opened by dell, during this diagnostic found that audio jack is not working also is confirmed by dell technician.

              Now laptop have many issues as flowing
              1. Hard drive noise.
              2. Data transfer rate.
              3. Mother board faulty its confirmed by dell.
              4. Speaker not working.

                I have following complaint against you.

                I have spoken sanil from dell customer care and was informed that he will send email to escalation or some team to expedite the request however no eta.

                I m using the laptop for business and without it for 1 or more month is not acceptable.

                I have purchase a device from you and if parts are not available you have to make other arrangements for me.

                  I purchased dell laptop from pune dell store & now i am not able to use it properly due issues in laptop software or drivers. Now their support is not able to resolve the issue. It costed me 114000 & it is going useless now.
                  I am not sure where i can do register complaint against dell for this case, as it is like financial, mental harassment.

                    Hi, i am highly unsatisfied and quite furious with dell's laptop services. It's not even been one year, and i don't even use the laptop that much but already one service guy had to check it over and over again within one month, even then after he last checked, it's been only few days it's again getting worse, is this the kind of service you put your employees upto? I heard dell was one of the best, but now i'm saying it's one of the worst, it has second class duplicate products and even third class employees under the service section, i don't know what that person (Who checked my laptop) got from lying to me but i have to say if this is the only kind of thing you sell or do or employ, i suggest do the world a favor and please stop producing at all! At least then students like me won't have to face the problems i'm facing! I'm not a forgiving person, i hope you go through the same kind of problems i'm facing due to making the wrong choice of choosing your product.

                      I have purchase inspiron 15 and its touch pad not working. When i called your service partner creative com infotech which is at noida they told me to come over there. But one thing i told you that i opted dell because your seller told me that we provide home service. I clearly tell you if you dont resolve it then i ll see you in consumer forum. Your seller misguide me to sell the product because he told me that we guys provide service at doorstep otherwise i am happy with sony wio but due to your seller misguide i go for dell.                             I liked dell computer very much so i took a dell laptop 8 months back but within two months the key board got damaged... Some of the keys are not functioning well... I need to give a long press on such keys to work... But now the body also got some damage... When i opened the lap a kind tick tick voice is coming... So i need to get it repaired as soon as possible...

                              I purchased a dell inspiron 15 5000 series on 29th june 2017 and after 2 months of purchase the audio system and the keyboard was damaged and it has a 1 year warranty and only 7 months are only remaining and we tried and called the customer care number and they answered the call and after few minutes they ended the call. We tried and called 5 to 6 times but they did the same because of the problem we are facing a lot of problem and we are not able to do anything important on the laptop. So, we request you to please come and repair the laptop.

                                Dear sir,

                                I have purchased a laptop (Service tag no : d1fsw32) from dell exculive showroom from vsm technologies pvt ltd, shop no : gf-23, kirti shikhar building, janak puri, district centre, new delhi - 110058 on[protected]Copy of the invoice bill is enclosed). Further, i would like to say that :

                                1) registration was made by myself through my mobile no : on[protected] for book my show and the ref no 221017d654892 was generated at that time. On[protected] i have received a message giving the win pin code.

                                2) a) to apply for extended warranty purposes, i went to dealer (Vsm technologies) on[protected] requesting to fill the registration form for more two years extended warranty on my behalf and accepting my request they filled the registration form. At that time the ref. No. 221017f660489 was generated. (Copy is enclosed).

                                B) again, i went to dealer on 29-10-17 and they asked me to pay rs. 999/-, for which the payment of rs. 999/- was paid through my father's icici debit card (No. [protected]) on[protected] for rs. 999/-against the ref no 221017f660489. At that time a status report was generated (Copy enclosed).

                                On[protected], when i contacted dell customer they informed that no registration has been made against my laptop service tag d1fsw32. Customer care and dealer suggested to write the email to – “[protected]@dellfestiveoffer.co.in” giving the full details of the case with enclosures.

                                The following sms was received by me on my mobile on[protected].
                                Message : thanks for reaching out to us ticket no :[protected]
                                Resolution : please note that we have received your email regarding incorrect registration done by the distributor. Kindly expect an update by end of the date.

                                The following email received from [protected]@dellfestiveoffer.co.in :
                                From: festive, 17

                                Date: fri, nov 3, 2017 at 1:41 pm
                                Subject: re: problems regarding extended warranty after payment
                                Dear sahil,
                                Greetings from dell program cell!
                                We would like to confirm that as per our records, your service tag “d1fsw32” has been registered with claim id “221017d654892” under des diwali offer for free book my show gift voucher and the same is under process hence, please expect an update in next 7 working days.

                                I have also received a sms on[protected] on my mobile no : [protected] : message was :
                                “ ticket closer notification, ticket no :[protected] resolution : we have tried calling you twice but were unable to connect with you since the number was switched off. So, we have contacted you distributor and requested to contact their rtm. Also, please connect with dell official care team at[protected] or [protected]@dell.com. Since we are not able to find any details regarding your service tag (D1fsw32) under dell festive offer for additional warranty. “

                                At the end, with profound grief and sorrow, i would like to say i have been harassed since inception that is from the purchase of the laptop whereas
                                - the registration form for extended warranty was filled by your dell exclusive showroom i. E. Vsm technologies pvt ltd, janak puri, new delhi
                                - i have already paid the necessary amount i. E. Rs. 999/- for extended warranty for laptop purchased on 17-10-17
                                - i have produced/enclosed all the relevant documents in this connection
                                Kindly look into this matter immediately providing the extended warranty for more two years for laptop at the earliest for which the payment of rs. 999/- has already been paid through debit card on 29-10-17.

                                  We visited the dell authorised service centre named compusoft in 100feet, coimbatore for an issue of charging problem in our dell inspiron laptop. But the quality of service was very bad. The laptop was damaged. We went for charging problem but when we got the serviced laptop we had many other issues. We buy laptop for huge price and give it if we have small problem. But they worsen the problem and give back the laptop. Even the laptop keypad skin was taken at the service centre. So we have to buy it again and put it. It's your authorised service centre and we go there as it's your dealer. We can reach local service centre and deal it with a low price and get this servic. Why should we reach your authorised service centre for this. Please take necessary action on the service centre else i will go to an extent of registering a complaint or case in consumer court. Am very much upset on my laptop being damaged to this extent

                                  Headphon socket are not working from Some previous days, i am asking for repair .Sometimes they accept the headphon but mostly this not working, and these happend automatically .

                                    I have a laptop purchased in january 2017. But now system is not running. System hard drive has lots of data. If system is warranty, its responsibility of your customer services to avoid the loss of customer. Taking backup should be responsibility of your customer service. Why should costumer pay extra money for data backup when it is system fault, and system is under warranty.

                                    According me its big question mark on your customer services and product reliabilty

                                      I had purchased my dell laptop from vijay sales-bandra on the 30th of september. My laptop model number is inspiron 7560. Within 3 days of purchase the laptop was not responding.
                                      The disk space was 100% utilized although no apps were running in the background.
                                      The laptop used to take time to start (Atleast 3 minutes)
                                      It even used to take the laptop 1 minute for the screen to wake up from sleep.

                                      The dell service people did troubleshooting but that did not help.
                                      After troubleshooting they formatted my laptop-this also did not help.
                                      Many changes were made in the laptop and many of the settings were disabled by the dell service people. But that also did not help.
                                      After this they again did troubleshooting of the laptop but that also did not help. I had spokenmany times to devender chauhan, srivastava, rakesh srivas, kumar sinha

                                      I am a student and i need to work on my laptop every day and because of this problem i am wasting a lot of time.

                                      My laptop is now completely spoilt. It is really slow and is not responsive. None of the dell people are helping me. Its not even been a month and my laptop is giving me so many problems. Even after doing troubleshooting thrice, reseting my laptop twice and giving it to the service centre, there has been no cooperation from dell. I require an urgent replacement/refund of this laptop.

                                        I have receive the laptop with defective display. They say it has 8 gb of ram. But it works way too slower than my 4 gb ram lenevo.
                                        The customer care reps have been making me to do a lot of trouble shooting. Even after about two weeks have passed, they are not sure what has to be done. They never call you as per your request or provide with a resolution. This laptop should be either replaced or i should be refunded immediately for this scrappy product. Will never recommend dell to anyone ever.
                                        This is a horrible experience so far.
