My Dell Inspiron 5547, service tag 5YOJK22 was experiencing problems with Wi-Fi and had a damaged right hinge.
The gentleman at the Dell Service Centre represented by Apex Systems located at 102, UG Krishna Plaza, Sec-6 Dwarka New Delhi. Committed me with refabrication of broken parts of the hinge and Wi-Fi repairing. The laptop was under the service centre from 19/Aug '16 till 27/Aug'16. And the service provided has been absolutely nonsense. The refabrication of broken parts was not done and parts of laptop are still broken, leaving exposed areas as seen in the attached picture. And there has been no action to repair the Wi-Fi. The person has just told me to get the mother board changed even after 4 days of false promises that the Wi-Fi circuit has been repaired and they are just running diagnostics before finally informing us to just get the motherboard replaced. He has also charged me with full rates even after doing a ghastly job at repairing. This is just plain lying to the customer and a totally unacceptable behavior. I want immediate action taken against your above mentioned representative.

    Worst Service by Dell Center


    I had purchased laptop from Dell before 3 years, recently i face a error regarding hard disk in laptop, so i went to DELL SERVICE STATION VERAVAL which is ( Zas Infotech ) . After few days they told me that hardisk is crashed and you have to replace hard disk. so we collect laptop from store without replacing hard disk. after that when we check the laptop there is no any screw in laptop around 17 screws are missing from laptop . so i went to store for make inquiry about screws and they told to bring laptop and pay 4000/- so they can replace hdd and fit screw. i asked for screw but they denies for it and talks like bullies. They charged 400 rs. for service but they do nothing with laptop.

      Please find attached herewith photo copy of your service center
      Ervice call report no.3670 dt. 06.06.16 of my dell mini inspire laptop. The issue is that the start menu gets hidden and goes down on the screen and also the screen display gets hidden on the movement of laptop. I have paid rs.1, 850/- for service charges at the time of 1st delivery of the same. The said laptop had gone on your service center so many times but issue is still not resolved. I, myself have gone to drop the laptop at your service center at delhi to resolve the same technical issue as your technical officer refused to take delivery from onsite. Request you to kindly look into the issue and arrange to resolve the same at the earliest.

        Dear Sir / Madam,

        I am dany, owning one dell inspiron 7537 laptop. I had a problem with my laptop LCD(dead pixel) and it got replaced with some refurbished panel just before 2 months. after one month of replacement the screen started to show some problem (flickering / freezing) again I raised service request, this time I asked them to replace a my own lcd panel after serviced. as per the technical support they are ready to replace the part with another refurbished one. they can't replace it my original panel or new one (which I didn't ask) reasons they are saying is like my laptop is old so Dell policy not supports to replace a New Panel to it. OK no problem what I am asking is to get me the original part of my laptop after serviced. There will be no age problem / or dell policy issue. Because I know how much I cared my laptop. And I don’t want someone’s unknown parts that too after refurbished state. Get my laptop’s own part after serviced. Because as you see after fixing a refurbished part, it is not even passed at least a 6 month (most common warranty period) then how much I can blindly trust it again. This is my personal laptop. So I don’t plan to spend another big amount just after the warranty period expires.

        My Laptop warranty remaining for another 14 months that included accidental care protection (This issue is manufacturing defect)


        Please consider this as genuine case and do me favor to get the right product to replace in my laptop.

          As I have serviced my laptop around four times when it's covered with warranty and changed motherboard four times by dell technical team, now I had a problem in motherboard but now it's not covered with warranty and I think there is a major fault in manufacturing so Iam going to register a legal complaint about dell

            Hi Sujoy Gayen,

            I would suggest you to check the display driver as an outdated driver can cause such issues. Refer these steps:
            a) Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
            b) Locate you display adapter, right click on it and select properties.
            c) Click on the Driver tab and click on Update driver.
            d) Install if any updates are available.
            You can also check in the manufacturer’s website to check if any updated display driver is available.

              I bought a dell labtop on Dated 6-1-2016, in the next four month the charger of labtop was hitting hard.
              Almost too hot to touch .It was extremely hot.I called at dell's customer care, they refused me to change it. After a long
              discussion of an hour they agreed to change it (charger).when i asked that if i had to give the old one to
              the delivery man they told nope. then the next day delivery man came to my home and told please give me the old one
              i said why he said we could not give the new one without taken the old charger.
              i shocked and said please asked to your customer care what they told me and he asked his supervisor then the delivery
              person said to me "we were just 3rd party member over here so we have to do what our supervisor tell us"
              it seems like i am telling a lie in front of my family.
              by that time i was nearly in tears .i really want to know is this how you will treat your customer
              with no regard of their condition, made to feel like liars.
              this is clearly a case of emotional and mental harassment .what kind of customer service was provided by dell.
              with extreme frustration and tears in my eyes at the inhuman,
              inconsiderate and absolute lack of customer service that i have had to face at customer service desk.
              what was my biggest mistake, for which i was humiliated and made to have an emotional breakdown.It's my request first of all ask to
              your company before deliver the product .

                I have premium phone support warranty but when i called them they told that my warranty expired, how it is possible when my warranty will expiry on sept 01 2016, this is how they cheat with customers. disgusting ...and i have warranty but i cant access them as they said that warranty expired ...this is impossible ...is this your service??? i dnt recommended dell to any one

                    I bought a battery from dell authorized service centre - excotron solutions pvt. ltd. at andheri. i have the bill dated 1/1/2016.in that it was written that 3 months warranty was from dell and 9 months from excotron. 4 months later i realized that the battery was fake. on 1/7/2016 i went to them to complaint. they took my battery saying they wanted to check it and gave me a sdar report (i dont know what it means) with dell's name on it. i kept calling every week, but they did not give me a replacement. i finally called the dell customer care number and was told that the battery was more than two and half years old. so they could not do anything about it. it was obvious that i had paid rs. 3, 000/- for a used battery. i cant understand how a company like dell can allow an authorized centre to cheat people like this. i dont think in my life i can ever trust dell again.

                        I had ordered a dell lap thru amazon on 21st july, 2016. The said laptop was supplied to me by manas merchandise pvt. Ltd, bangalore on 25th july, 2016. The said lap top stopped functioning from the very first day. After a long wait i could get dell customer care. The had deputed on technician to my place to check the fault. The technician having found the laptop not working, informed dell office. Finally dell replacement division agreed to replace the laptop. But the problem is that their current stockist does supply material to west bengal. They are insisting me to give alternative address at rajasthan, delhi, jharkhand, mumbai which is ridiculous suggestion. I have told them to send the replacement at my current address only but till date nothing has happened. No body is there to take the responsibility. Where to go? Whom to contact?

                          I gave my laptop for diagnosis and they found out that motherboard and touchpad is not working. i brought back my laptop from the service center and when i am pressing power button, the message is displayed "no boot device found". which means the hard disk is not working. please help. this is not fair. i do not stay in kolkata. i went to the dell service center there. after diagnosis i brought home my laptop because the cost for motherboard and touchpad was not feasible for me, and then i saw that my hard disk drive is also not working which was perfectly fine before i gave my laptop to them.

                            Issue of Warranty not understood by you ( DELL India)/ wrong done by dealer ST Computers at Chandigarh
                            Thanks for your reply/ mail. It appears to me you have not understood the real issue.
                            The line of action suggested by you through the online 'link'sent to me is concerning transfer of ownership/ or to other name .
                            It is not related to me.
                            Please look into the following facts ---
                            1. I purchased a brand new Dell System ( Laptop ) with service tag 6p5x832 ( photocopy of dealer Invoice enclosed for your reference ),
                            in the name of my son Siddharth Gupta, from an exclusive Dell store at Chandigarh.
                            2. Company's dealer/ Dell people update Warranty on this product in some other name. ( I fail to understand, why it was done and by whom )
                            3. I just want a correction of this error, which was committed from Dell people/ Dell Exclusive store.
                            4. the other reason seems to me could be that your dealer has given me a second hand product, which was earlier purchased in some other name.
                            5. Now it is your duty to investigate the details for this blunder committed at your end/ or by your person.
                            6. Important : If this issue is not resolved at the earliest, by updating the Warranty in the correct name as Siddharth Gupta, and extend it for 2 years under the Back to College offer, I will left with no other option than to highlight it in print/ digital media,
                            and also report the matter to -- 1.National Consumer Forum 2. Consumer Court, at Chandigarh,
                            under 'Cheating & Unfair Trade Practice'.

                              I bought a dell inspiron 3148 laptop from us 2 months back (express code [protected]). ever since the laptop was bought, the performance has been extremely slow. it works much slower than my 10 year old laptop! i called the dell support team and they asked for rs 3500 to diagnose the software problem. the dell team should be answerable if a new laptop is not working properly. just saying that software is not in warranty is not appropriate. now even some of the keys on the keyboard are not working fine. this is my worst ever experience with a laptop. request you to please get it checked and repaired at the earliest.

                              1. Update if there is any update in Windows available for your OS.
                              Windows Update is the premier starting point to resolve most common driver issues you might experience.
                              Simply launch it from Start > Settings > Update and Recovery and click Check for Updates
                              2. Try to scan your laptop for any viruses
                              3. Uninstall the programs you don't use or you don't need.
                              Click Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a program. From the list of programs that appears, click the program you want to uninstall, then click Uninstall.

                              See if it helps.

                                I bought inspiron 5547 from usa and its been 1.5 years old i bought for 65000 but now i dint even but the product down but the join has broken and i have to replace the palmrest and bottom base its charging me 11200rupees ... see dell people is this fare this is the quality you maintain i have suggested dell product for many people in my circle but im getting this problem this is not good please try to clear my issue its not physical damage it got broke as like that so please you can have a look at it so that you will find whether it is physical damage or not

                                  Well i am extremely unhappy and dissatisfy with the dell as they made me fool.
                                  I purchased dell inspiron 3542 from dell retailer (Rskrish technology and services laxmi nagar) on 6th september2015. After 10 months my laptop crashes and didnt start again. When i contacted to support they checked the information about my product and gave me a shocking reply that my laptop is out of warranty. When i said its not even an year old then how the warranty can be expired! They said they can't do anything utill i dont have warranty on it. I contacted to the dealer about it he said it will take 3-4 days to update the warranty so i waited for a week still the warranty was out of date i emailed several dell people and also called them still nothing better happened. Its been more than 3 weeks now my computer is dead and my warranty is not updated yet. I really wasted my 41000 on this terrible company and its services which is zero. They dont think for their customer just want to get money and selling the old and garbage products to the customers. I am really so frustrated with dell and seriously suggest people if they dont want to get cheat and feel like me please dont go for dell... Whats the benefit now if they update my warranty before a day of its end!
                                  I will go to any local shop to fix my laptop... Dell seriously a terrible service provider...

                                    I purchased your laptop from a authorized dealer eurotech infosys delhi on 12 august 2016. I started using this laptop now n came across that it is super slow. I contacted your technical support team n they told that there is no problem with hardware n i have to pay for software issues again. I gave extra 8k to dell for windows n still this irrational behavior. The person who was providing technical support didnt gave any satisfactory answer. The dealer and your company are giving false promises about high speed n top rated performance. I have just landed with a 37k machine with only problems. Kindly solve the issue or replace my product.

                                    1. Update if there is any update in Windows available for your OS.
                                    Windows Update is the premier starting point to resolve most common driver issues you might experience.
                                    Simply launch it from Start > Settings > Update and Recovery and click Check for Updates
                                    2. Try to scan your laptop for any viruses
                                    3. Uninstall the programs you don't use or you don't need.
                                    Click Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a program. From the list of programs that appears, click the program you want to uninstall, then click Uninstall.
