On july 20 2016, , we purchased a new dell laptop-x327-inspiron3543-5th gen-4-500-w8.1-touch, service tag 6p5x832, from s. T. Computers, sco-495-496, sector 35-c, chandigarh, invoice no. Crt-16/17-264, dated 20-jul-2016, on a payment of rs.37, 000/-, but in-spite of my many visits and telephonic calls the said dealer has not given the 1 year warrant, till date, on the said laptop which was promised by him at the time of selling the laptop to me. You are requested to help me, and direct the dealer and the dell india, to look into the matter, for early solution of the problem. Other vise this matter will also be taken to the consumer court.

    I purchased a laptop on 2.6.2016 from Computer world, Rohtak (Haryana) bearing Model Dell Insp. 3542 15/1tb/4gb/2gb/dos having Tag No.GCMKN52. The speaker of the Laptop is not working. I requested your customer centre 2-3 times for the same, but they asked that the server is not working, call later. You are requested to look into the matter and direct the concerned person in our area to do the needful at the earliest.

        First thing i heard was you warranty covers till november 2017 (for hardware mind you) when i placed the call (cool) after going through all your mundane exercises and (the support person mentioning herself professional many times over) i get slugged by you people that i need to pay for my battery (rs 2400 — payment first — 7 to 10 days for delivery — when i purchased the system got slugged around 1000 bucks for next day service with replacement service all over india) wow what a service.

        In your ad please put that we are bull company and our product suck — if you buy our product you are in dumps anyhow; just pay and dont bother to call us back.

        Fact: i have a hardware warranty for 3 years paid extra 1000 rs for the same. if i am correct battery is part of hardware of the system (universally it is true; but dell considers otherwise)

        Why do you make false promises for warranty services when you are not going to fulfill them.

        I have four complaint against dell india which no. is [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]. but i have didn't any response for led replacement but customer care told me don't worry sir i have gaurantee replace ur monitor. my dell monitor is in gaurantee.
        The power button of dell laptop is not functioning properly.
        I have to press the button 3-4 times n sometimes it does'nt start at all.
        I have purchase it just 4 mnths back.

            Problem - i got an led display with manufacturing defect (Color line) according to ebay.In and seller, this defected item should be replaced by manufacturer that is dell.
            Please tell me what is truth?

            Beside that i visited dell service center at kolkata.

              I purchased a dell 3459 all in one desktop from a dell store in Tuticorin, Tamilnadu on18.6.2016. From the date, I have a lot of problems in my system particularly the start-up time is very slow (more than 3 minutes) I call the dealer several times for solve this problem but they are not response.                 MY Dell venue 11 7139 core i5 8gb ram and 256-ssd bought from their enterprise folio and supposed to be the high-end 2 in 1 hybrid has turned into a piece of junk.

                I lodged a complaint with Dell customer care in the month of June with the ticket no[protected]. My device is still in warranty and till date Dell has been unable to resolve the issue and today when I called them for an update they say that the parts are unavailable and we cannot tell the date for servicing your tablet.

                This is highly unprofessional and pathetic service from a tech giant.

                Please share who will the country manager for their services, I want him this message to reach to him.

                  Hi Ashwani Bandil,
                  I suggest you some basic troubleshooting steps that may help you to solve the issue.
                  1. Open the Control Panel.
                  2. Select Device Manager .
                  3. In the Device Manager, expand Hardware Devices.
                  4. Right click on your controller and select Properties.
                  5. In the new Tab, click on the "Driver" tab and select "Update Driver". Then select "Search automatically".
                  6. Restart your PC and try to access the device again.

                  You may also try to install "Keyboard filter driver". You can download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website. Then you can install and reboot.

                        I have have purchase a dell laptop from micron computer, on 11 june, 2016. The dealer has provided me the defective laptop. The battery is not responding after the system fully charged up and shutdown. When on switched on the system does not respond. I contacted the dell customer care for the issue which i was experiencing. The executive informed me that my newly purchased system is not registered with them so the stand helpless to provide any kind of support to me. The executive asked me to contact dealer for getting your system registered with dell for getting warranty. But the dealer is asking for extra money for getting the newly purchased system registered with dell. Kindly look into the issue and resolve the at the earliest as i have approached the dealer also but he not responding positively.                           Hi, i have put this complaint on here as i couldn't find any better place.
                          I bought a new dell laptop in 2014 with i5 processor, 2gb graphics, 1tb hdd etc.
                          But it started lagging recently then suddenly 1 day it just crashed.
                          On getting checked i was told hard drive crashed beyond recovery. I lost all my data including recovery drives, os etc. On contacting dell i was told as the 1 year warranty expired i would have to pay for the repairs that would be over 5000.
                          My only question why should i have to pay for the inferior hardware used by dell on the systems we paid over 50k to get.
                          Honestly i am just disappointed with dell and i think i would never ever get a dell myself or suggest anyone.

                            I just lost the CD that came along with the laptop. After exactly 1 year when warranty expired, the laptop started troubling with hang issues. As it was out of warranty, I just asked some technical person to format my system so that it speeds up a bit. But now after formating, it is asking to activate windows by putting key which I have lost with the Windows cd. Now I had no option but to contact dell and check how they can help me. I called their helpline at 10:15 am and ended the call at 12:45 pm without any solution. They were just transferring my call from one desk to another. I thought of contacting them on Facebook but again the response was vague. The only options I m left out with is to spread the word about the bad service I have got from Dell and prevent others from making mistake of buying such poor laptops of such self-centred company. Of course, this is not it, I'll surely take this case to next level and file legal complaint against the company.

                              I have purchased dell venue 7 service tag no 7py3222 on 28/07/2015. On 27/07/2016 my sim card slot stopped working. I went to dell authorized service centre and to my surprise they said your warranty has expired in dec 2015 itself as warranty period starts from manufacturing date. It should have been updated by the dealer.
                              Whose responsibility is to update this. And who will pay for my losses. Even i talked to customer care and provide thm the option to mail the scan copy of the invoice but they refused. This kind of attitude is not expected from the company like dell.

                                We have released the po (7542) on 16.06.2016 and payment is done on 22.06.2016 and inspite of follow ups for the spare parts for laptop, there is no response from you. payment details were mailed to you immediately after payment was made and now again we received the mail on 25.07.2016 asking about payment details and biiling & shipping details and today we received the mail informing us that spare parts are not available with us and will be coming from singapore and still it will take 3 -4 weeks more, which is not expectable, after taking payment, if still there is a delay then we need a proper clarification on this.
                                Please note that requirement is urgent. expect a quick response on this.

                                  I bought a laptop in 29july 2015. but my warranty end on 31 march 2016. i complint for this issue to dealer and he update my warranty to august. but my battery warranty end in 7th months ago. i call dell support and then they are said my product is very old to seal by dealer. so i totally shocked.

                                    My tablet dell venue 3741 service tag 4b21x22 has a problem of shutting down occasionally and i have to reboot it. I gave it to the service center in kolkata on 21.6.16. After their servicing, the problem stopped for some time but from yesterday it again started now and then and my important official job is being hampered.

                                    I would request if you replace the tablet.

                                      I bought a dell tab on 03/10/2015.I was also offered to but an insurance from the dealer where I was told that at any circumstances, if a damage is caused on the product within a year of purchase, then the insurance will take care.I contacted the dealer and then the insurance co.(appsdaily). appsdaily is trying to help me now what they need is a quotation for the repair of the damage.The damage that happened on my tab is screen is ok but the liquid got logged.I went to one of the dell auth serv cent., where I was told that it would cost me RS.5500 but refused to gv me any quotation.Now I am in need of a quotation to proceed further with appsdaily.I need your help.
                                      Dell India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      I purchased a brand new dell 7000 series 2 in 1. The touchscreen started giving problems within s few weeks. It stopped working completely in a month. I gave it for repair, it took a week for them just to order the required part. Apparently, the dell warehouse doesn't have enough spares.
                                      Disappointed with the service and the problem.

                                      You may try the following steps:
                                      Control Panel - Device Manager - Mice and Pointing Devices - Double Click onTouch Pad -
                                      2) Driver's Tab - Click Update Driver drivers,
                                      3) RIGHT CLICK on TouchPad and UNINSTALL.
                                      Then go to USB Controllers and UNINSTALL EVERYTHING except the category itself (all in it). REBOOT
                                      This will refresh the TouchPad Driver and the USB Stack.
                                      Hope it helps.
                                      The issue is not yet resolved. there is no call being made by dell.
