Dear sir/madam,
I sagar d. Mansatta am using dell inspiron 3521 form approx 2 yrs. Since last one month i was facing a problem of wi-fi in my computer. I was unable to use the internet using wi-fi, so i took my laptop to the dell authorized service centre in thane (24/25/26, 1st floor, shreeji arcade, panch pakhadi-thane west, thane - 400602, opposite nitin casting company, panchpakhadi) on the above address was informed there that the problem was due to the update of windows from 8.1 to 10, so they told me that they would restore the version of my windows to windows 8 for which i was charged rs.1364/-. Two days the laptop was lying with the service, than i was informed that my wi-fi card is not original one that provided my dell and is was a duplicate one, so they could not help me with the problem as dell doesn’t sell parts and only replaces if required, so when i went to collect my laptop a person form the service center gave me a address of a third party from where i can get me problem solved. I feel the people in the service center only have stolen my original wi-fi card.
Please look into the matter and oblige.

    Dear team,
    I had purchased expensive laptop computer from dell india pvt ltd. After 1 and half year, had a minor problem and reported to dell service. Dell service visited and replaced the parts; however i was not happy on replaced part as it was physical damage in it, however computer working normally. I reported to dell the same and dell agreed to replace but not immediately. The replacement will be done when any issue occurs in future.
    After a month noticed lcd monitor had a red spot which is defective, and reported to dell and dell sent the service engineer along with both pars to replace.
    Dell service engineer replaced the parts and switched on system, found computer not functioning. He dismantled and re-assembled multiple times and damaged further more parts, another 3 parts had physical damage and electronic board (S) not functioning.
    Dell service engineer had not used electronic device production equipment while handling rapiers. And not handled proper methods to repair computer, the engineer is not having enough skill to handle this model machine. So due to defective workmanship, the computer is lost its originality.
    I have asked dell to replace the whole unit, deliver the new computer of the same model and pick-up the damaged computer. Dell did not agreed, and agreed to rectify the computer back to working condition, but all required parts will be replaced with refurbished (Already used defective parts in some other computer will be repaired/rectified) parts, which dell confirming it is the warranty terms and conditions. I did not agree to that as the damage due to unskilled service engineer from dell, required to rectify the system with brand new parts and do not want refurbished parts.
    Dell confirmed that cannot done repair with new parts.
    This damage due to dell service engineer defective work, hence i wanted dell to deliver the new product as replacement or rectify the computer with new parts replacements.
    I would be very thankful if you could please suggest on the same to go with consumer complaint.

      I'm kuldip patel from surendranagar, gujrat. I have bought dell laptop 2 year ago. After 1 year i apply for new warranty. Yet warranty was over last month but i put the laptop in the service center for the some hardware issue in on warranty. They say to me the bottom part pp id wasn't match and they can't inquiry for it. They say to me doesn't possible service in this laptop. But i never change the part from another so why they said to me pp id doesn't match??? It's dell misunderstanding. They can't give me regularly answer. How do i get justice. Pls give me suggestion. My laptop was last one month in the service center.

        I purchased the lap inspiron 3551on 26th Aug.2016 at YOHANA COMPUTERS in Calicut (device tag:98NWD32 and express service code [protected]). I failed to turn on, not getting charge, l call (on 13 july)the customer care for service, they said that the warranty had not registered by the dealer and adviced to contact dealer .But the the dealer did not registered yet.I use the lap with the adapter plugged on now.but some key sunk, so l can't turn on now.Will you please register the warranty, the bill of purchased show the warranty is alive .

          On july 20 2016, , we purchased a new dell laptop-x327-inspiron3543-5th gen-4-500-w8.1-touch, service tag 6p5x832, from s. T. Computers, sco-495-496, sector 35-c, chandigarh, invoice no. Crt-16/17-264, dated 20-jul-2016, on a payment of rs.37, 000/-, but in-spite of my many visits and telephonic calls the said dealer has not given the 1 year warrant, till date, on the said laptop which was promised by him at the time of selling the laptop to me. You are requested to help me, and direct the dealer and the dell india, to look into the matter, for early solution of the problem. Other vise this matter will also be taken to the consumer court.

                First thing i heard was you warranty covers till november 2017 (for hardware mind you) when i placed the call (cool) after going through all your mundane exercises and (the support person mentioning herself professional many times over) i get slugged by you people that i need to pay for my battery (rs 2400 — payment first — 7 to 10 days for delivery — when i purchased the system got slugged around 1000 bucks for next day service with replacement service all over india) wow what a service.

                In your ad please put that we are bull company and our product suck — if you buy our product you are in dumps anyhow; just pay and dont bother to call us back.

                Fact: i have a hardware warranty for 3 years paid extra 1000 rs for the same. if i am correct battery is part of hardware of the system (universally it is true; but dell considers otherwise)

                Why do you make false promises for warranty services when you are not going to fulfill them.

                The power button of dell laptop is not functioning properly.
                I have to press the button 3-4 times n sometimes it does'nt start at all.
                I have purchase it just 4 mnths back.

                        MY Dell venue 11 7139 core i5 8gb ram and 256-ssd bought from their enterprise folio and supposed to be the high-end 2 in 1 hybrid has turned into a piece of junk.

                        I lodged a complaint with Dell customer care in the month of June with the ticket no[protected]. My device is still in warranty and till date Dell has been unable to resolve the issue and today when I called them for an update they say that the parts are unavailable and we cannot tell the date for servicing your tablet.

                        This is highly unprofessional and pathetic service from a tech giant.

                        Please share who will the country manager for their services, I want him this message to reach to him.

                          Hi Ashwani Bandil,
                          I suggest you some basic troubleshooting steps that may help you to solve the issue.
                          1. Open the Control Panel.
                          2. Select Device Manager .
                          3. In the Device Manager, expand Hardware Devices.
                          4. Right click on your controller and select Properties.
                          5. In the new Tab, click on the "Driver" tab and select "Update Driver". Then select "Search automatically".
                          6. Restart your PC and try to access the device again.

                          You may also try to install "Keyboard filter driver". You can download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website. Then you can install and reboot.

                                I have have purchase a dell laptop from micron computer, on 11 june, 2016. The dealer has provided me the defective laptop. The battery is not responding after the system fully charged up and shutdown. When on switched on the system does not respond. I contacted the dell customer care for the issue which i was experiencing. The executive informed me that my newly purchased system is not registered with them so the stand helpless to provide any kind of support to me. The executive asked me to contact dealer for getting your system registered with dell for getting warranty. But the dealer is asking for extra money for getting the newly purchased system registered with dell. Kindly look into the issue and resolve the at the earliest as i have approached the dealer also but he not responding positively.                                   Hi, i have put this complaint on here as i couldn't find any better place.
                                  I bought a new dell laptop in 2014 with i5 processor, 2gb graphics, 1tb hdd etc.
                                  But it started lagging recently then suddenly 1 day it just crashed.
                                  On getting checked i was told hard drive crashed beyond recovery. I lost all my data including recovery drives, os etc. On contacting dell i was told as the 1 year warranty expired i would have to pay for the repairs that would be over 5000.
                                  My only question why should i have to pay for the inferior hardware used by dell on the systems we paid over 50k to get.
                                  Honestly i am just disappointed with dell and i think i would never ever get a dell myself or suggest anyone.

                                    I just lost the CD that came along with the laptop. After exactly 1 year when warranty expired, the laptop started troubling with hang issues. As it was out of warranty, I just asked some technical person to format my system so that it speeds up a bit. But now after formating, it is asking to activate windows by putting key which I have lost with the Windows cd. Now I had no option but to contact dell and check how they can help me. I called their helpline at 10:15 am and ended the call at 12:45 pm without any solution. They were just transferring my call from one desk to another. I thought of contacting them on Facebook but again the response was vague. The only options I m left out with is to spread the word about the bad service I have got from Dell and prevent others from making mistake of buying such poor laptops of such self-centred company. Of course, this is not it, I'll surely take this case to next level and file legal complaint against the company.

                                      I have purchased dell venue 7 service tag no 7py3222 on 28/07/2015. On 27/07/2016 my sim card slot stopped working. I went to dell authorized service centre and to my surprise they said your warranty has expired in dec 2015 itself as warranty period starts from manufacturing date. It should have been updated by the dealer.
                                      Whose responsibility is to update this. And who will pay for my losses. Even i talked to customer care and provide thm the option to mail the scan copy of the invoice but they refused. This kind of attitude is not expected from the company like dell.
                                      Dell India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
