        I made a complaint as my laptop got burnt on the top left corner. My complaint number is[protected]. One executive named Sanchi Saxena asked me to send the photos of the laptop. As I don't have any option of sending photos, I made a call to customer care and executive named Yashaswini received my call. When I am explaining my problem, she is not at all helping with my query and moreover asked me to contact any electrician. To buy a laptop, should we have to use smartphone or need to have a nearby electrician?
        Dell is a multi national company and should have proper customer service. I bought the laptop 4 months back and this is the third time I am facing the problem with this. Last time also they took 10 days for resolving the problem.

          I have purchased two dell laptops from m/s. sysmantech, m. g road, ernakulam-682016, ph[protected] the complaint is as follows.

          01. the first laptop (sl. no. 2qdh732, dell 3442) purchased on 26.1.2016 (invoice no. smtr/39462015/2016) and complaint noticed in the keyboard and informed the shop. they directed to the dell service center at ernakulam. according to service people, the warranty expired in june 2016. actually the warranty is one year from the date of purchase. the service center directed me to the shop again to update the data by the dealer. but the shop manager asked me to call dell toll free. the toll free man advised to visit the shop again to solve the issue. now i am very much depressed with this faulty laptop and i will never purchase dell products and will never recommend to any one in my life. also the m/s. sysmantech is cheating me by giving a faulty and outdated laptop. i need to replace the laptop at the earliest; otherwise i will initiate legal action against dell and m/s. sysmantech.
          02. the second laptop (sl. no. 9cvx432, dell 3546) purchased on 29.3.2016 (invoice no. smte/1767/2015/2016) and complaint noticed in sleep function, sometimes works even it is shut down etc. and informed the shop. they directed to the dell service center at ernakulam. according to service people, the warranty expired in feb 2016, i. e before i purchased the laptop!!!. actually the warranty is one year from the date of purchase. the service center directed me to the shop again to update the data by the dealer. they said the problem may be with os and not the hard ware. the shop technician re - installed the os, but no use. then the shop manager asked me to call dell toll free. the toll free man advised to visit the shop again to solve the issue. now i am very much depressed with this faulty laptop and i will never purchase dell products and will never recommend to any one dell products in my life. also the m/s. sysmantech is cheating me by giving a faulty and outdated laptop. i need to replace the laptop at the earliest; otherwise i will initiate legal action against dell and m/s. sysmantech.

              Hi..
              I would like to bring in to the viewers of this complaint that beware of buying a laptop or a PC or any other products from the official website of Dell India.
              I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 3558 Laptop on 23rd June 2016 for which the order number is :[protected]. While buying the laptop I had cross checked the price with other E-Commerce websites wherein I found the price a little expensive on the Dell website where as other websites are selling it on a cheaper price, then too I thought that if I'm buying it through their own website then the chances of being cheated will be lesser as compared to others but I was wrong and I have been cheated by them. First of all there was an ongoing offer with the laptop which is "Back To College" for which the last date of registration was 15th July 2016 but unfortunately I missed out the terms & conditions where in there was a turn around time of 7 days after the date of purchase. I humbly requested them to consider me as an exception because this is the first time I have ever bought a laptop in my life span but the company straight away denied that since I have missed out the turn so they cannot help me in anyways which is Okay because it was my mistake and the company is not responsible or liable for the same although they could have considered. Now coming to the point how they cheated me is while buying the laptop the configurations mentioned were okay wherein I was getting a OS windows 10, McAfee subscription etc so I was quite happy with the pricing and offers but later I found that a few software's were not configured in the laptop for which I called upon their customer care number where their executives apologized for the inconvenience caused but at the same time they said that they can't help me for the same. That was not just enough, when I tried to escalate the matter they asked me to speak to a senior person as a manager or floor manager and he transferred the line to the floor manager. While talking to him I explained that how I am facing the problem to which he too apologized and said that they will take the matter to the senior level so that other customers don't face the same problem and at the same time he will not be able to help me. Not just that, he was instead acting smart and trying to convince me for paid service of approx Rs. 3500 to Rs. 4000 which I have already paid to the company while buying the laptop. And that wasn't enough, In-fact he told me " You bought it in an good price naa so it is your problem and you need to either contact Microsoft or else I can transfer the line to our paid service" which means they are selling their packages in the name of customer service. Add on to it when I was asking him the reason why they can't help me he just hung up in the middle of the conversation.
              I would like to bring in to the notice to all the buyers that please Dell India although being such a big brand, has these loop holes and are cheating buyers. Please beware and think almost 100 times while making such a investment because 34500/- is not a small amount.
              Totally disappointed by their attitude and kind of service they are providing to the customers, although they are very polite while talking but at the end they are cheating us.
              It is my humble request to all the buyers that please check for other brands before buying one from Dell as they are charging us a higher price with minimum benefits just because they are a brand like Dell.

                In 10 days, it stopped working... Goes into auto shutdown freqently... Was given to dell service... Still..In 2 days... It stopped working... Today again a service fellow from dell attended the service... Now he says the motherboard is gone... Touch pad is gone... Battery compartment is gone... I spent 97500/- for this defective piece... Still the dell service guys don't even care.. They say they will send another service guy next week.. They will not replace with a new piece... I feel cheated by dell. Just bought it on may 16, 2016 online from compuindia. It is so frustrating... Now what do i do... Pl advice

                  Hi pravinabhishek,

                  I’d like to help you, I am going to list down the possible causes:
                  1)Not enough power
                  2) You also might have a faulty graphics card.
                  3) BIOS/UEFI errors( BIOS hardware incompatibility)
                  4) Improperly installed components

                  To resolve the above causes you might need to do some troubleshooting.

                  Make sure your graphics card is properly seated.

                  Make sure the power supply is enough.

                  Next, check your BIOS/UEFI(preboot environment) for errors.

                  Finally, test the graphic card with other device.

                      Respected sir,
                      I am an unfortunate dell customer writing to you about not so happy experience i had in recent times regarding your after sales service given here in new delhi, india.
                      Let’s start right from the beginning. I am based in new delhi, india and purchased with my hard earned savings dell inspiron 7520 received through courier dated[protected] and its invoice date is[protected].Invoice and tag numbers are [protected] and fspdmv1 respectively. Let me tell you one thing genuinely. Your service was exceptional to support the machine but machine itself is not that good is what i felt. So i had numerous services done under warranty as well as under extended warranty and you name it like lcd, hard drive, optical drive, mother board, ram, cooling system, speakers, key board (Refurbished parts not new, mind it) and more whenever faults occurred during last 3 and half years. But after last warranty extension, your service also bite the dust is how i felt.
                      Before that, your engineer used to book the service after remote diagnosis and your service vendor technician used to come with required parts and service used to get done. This is called fix it right first time. So generally i was happy with the service but not the product due to frequent malfunctioning. But after last warranty extension, you changed your path for worse in terms of service quality too.In present scenario, your engineer will book the service first for inspection by technician to ascertain the root cause and then he will over the phone suggest the required parts to your engineer, then parts will come and again on second visit technician will replace the parts. I can say, ask any dell customer and nobody will be happy with this process of servicing.
                      The present situation is that of late i felt my laptop is heating up excessively and accordingly i called dell technical support dated[protected]. After many attempts, my call finally routed to desired section and mr. Tushar mishra attended me. He created the service for inspection and service request number/case id was[protected]. But nobody called me for the confirmation of visit. Then i mailed tushar mishra dated[protected] that nobody called me up for service to be performed for inspection. Then on[protected], i received call from dell confirming that service need to be performed on my laptop. Same day, i received call from service vendor that technician will come on[protected]. Mr. Shashikant visited me and he said that heat sink and mother board are faulty and he gave ppid for both parts to your dell engineer over the phone. Please find repair order form attached serial number being [protected]. After that i got call from service vendor that parts have arrived and service technician will replace the parts dated[protected]. The visit was scheduled between 16:00 to 18:00 hours. I was waiting with my system but no one turned up nor did i receive any call proactively. I had the mobile number of technician shashikant and called him at 17:45 hours that i am waiting with the laptop for his visit. He said dell has cancelled service to be performed due to ppid mismatch.
                      Then i mailed dated[protected] to service engineer tushar mishra that service technician didn’t turned up to replace parts. He replied dated[protected] that a team is working to resolve the concern. On the same day i. E.[protected]Before reading his response), i made call at dell technical support and mr. Amandeep jamwal attended me. I apprised him the whole situation and he arranged a call back from his manager. I was not satisfied with the response of the manager so he arranged a call back from escalation team. From escalation team, i got call from mr. Sahil sundhan dated[protected]. Again i apprised him of the whole situation. He again arranged for the inspection of laptop by service technician for[protected]. Same technician mr. Shashikant arrived and took the ppid of each and every part. He gave all the ppid numbers to one mr. Haider as desired by him. Then i had conversation with him that whether all the ppid are matching or not. He confirmed it’s matching. Then again i enquired whether he has taken all the ppid’s to complete the formality so that nothing is missing this time which may again result in service cancellation when the parts actually need to be replaced. He reiterated that he was provided with all the required ppid’s. He then mailed me on same date i. E.[protected] that despatch has been created to replace the required parts and he arranged for visit of service technician again. This time to replace the parts. Please find repair order form bearing serial number [protected] having despatch number [protected] attached with this mail.
                      I received message as well as call from service vendor dated[protected] that parts have arrived and service technician will visit to replace the parts on[protected] as per despatch number [protected].In evening, dated[protected] on 19:27 hours i received call from service technician that service to replace the parts has been cancelled again by dell due to ppid mismatch. I was shocked second time and cursed you people literally from my heart. I mailed mr. Sahil from escalation team to call me dated[protected]. We had a long argument over the phone because he accused me if i had done any repairing done from other than dell. My answer was why did i spend money on extended warranty and can you prove it that it’s been tempered from outside. I mean what’s the need of it and what a silly question? He finally told me that as of now part replacement have been kept on hold. Don’t you think it’s an absolute crime on your part to harass me like this? And now today i. E.[protected], i again received call from mr. Sahil of escalation team that as of now service has been still kept on hold but we can arrange for technician visit for the inspection of laptop. I asked him who is accountable for the delay in rendering actual concrete service to resolve my issue which is pending since[protected] and what’s the difference this inspection will make because the same has been done twice earlier.
                      Till the writing of this mail, i didn’t confirm my consent for inspection of laptop third time. I am asking you, had you been a dell customer what would have been your approach? So now you will understand why i was saying that your service is now just like your laptop. It’s towards downward progression and pathetic. Hope being ceo you’ll understand my agony and will do needful on urgent basis.

                          I order a new alienware on 4th of july 2016, and got it delivered on 15th of july 2016.
                          I tried to register on dell website for warranty and got a result saying its already registered. My service tag number is 72b2n72, and its showing the warranty from march 2016 to march 2017, that means i only get 7 months warranty? I purchased with a full one year premium warranty. Please resolve the issue.

                              I ordered a laptop dell inspirion 5559 on 6th July 2016 but it is not delivered yet
                              when i track in the compuindia website the carrier name in it is custom value but the carrier name they sent in the mail is sp and the awb number they sent is waste not working to track
                              when i call the compuindia they say some lame reasons
                              yesterday when i call them they talked in such a rude manner
                              compuindia doesn't even know where the order is

                                Hi

                                I have faced terrible service with my 6 months old laptop.The laptop does not allow any apps for video conferencing to run.The laptop immediately crashes after showing a blue screen of death with the error code snp2uvc.sys.

                                Your poorly informed/unqualified technicians kept calling up and doing the same steps with failed attempts to resolve the issue.No driver update works.

                                My laptop is under warranty and therefore I expect an immediate check of the hardware and software on this system tomorrow !Failing which I will have to make a serious complaint against Dell for cheating me by selling a faulty laptop and put a consumer forum complaint.

                                I need a technician to come down and check the laptop without fail.

                                    Dear sir/madam,
                                    I sagar d. mansatta am using dell inspiron 3521 form approx 2 yrs. since last one month i was facing a problem of wi-fi in my computer. i was unable to use the internet using wi-fi, so i took my laptop to the dell authorized service centre in thane (24/25/26, 1st floor, shreeji arcade, panch pakhadi-thane west, thane - 400602, opposite nitin casting company, panchpakhadi) on the above address was informed there that the problem was due to the update of windows from 8.1 to 10, so they told me that they would restore the version of my windows to windows 8 for which i was charged rs.1364/-. two days the laptop was lying with the service, than i was informed that my wi-fi card is not original one that provided my dell and is was a duplicate one, so they could not help me with the problem as dell doesn’t sell parts and only replaces if required, so when i went to collect my laptop a person form the service center gave me a address of a third party from where i can get me problem solved. i feel the people in the service center only have stolen my original wi-fi card.
                                    Please look into the matter and oblige.

                                      I have ordered dell inspiron 3558 then i have recieved faulty piece... And after that i have send it back for replacement... And after waiting for weeks, till now i havent recieved my order... Please do something unless i have to take strict action regarding your company... Dont make me do that... Today date is 11 july... Now i ll see how much time ull take...

                                      My worst experience with dell, i don't know why are you still running your compay just to make money, do you really care for your customer service, my laptop is in your service centre from last 15 days but still there is no response when i am going to get back my laptop. If you are unable to provide service then why do you sell your laptops?
                                      today is 14 july and still no action is taken...my laptop is still not with me and now your company not picking my call...what a careless attitude...just give my money back ...i cant take it anymore...or iam going to complaint your authority...i know the name and face of the employees...

                                        I am facing problem to get service for my laptop from dell because they are saying that some parts serial number mismatching. Read below u will know

                                        After seeing all scenario and getting worst response from dell escalation and telephonic team i have come across to some of the major points that shows that dell is doing a fraudulent activity with its customers.

                                        If we just take an example that my lcd is not working. So what will be the procedure to get it replaced or repaired when laptop is still in complete coverage and accidental coverage. Following are the steps.

                                        1. Customer calls to dell and lock a call regarding his complaint he is facing issue in his laptop.
                                        2. Then after 2 to 3 days technician visit the place of customer to check out the faulty part. Sometime first he come to check the part and sometimes he come aling with the part to get it replaced.
                                        3. After that he remove the faulty and replaced it with the working part. Then he updates to dell via call about and get a customer signature on mobile. And takes a faulty part with him to send it back to dell.
                                        4. After that we get a mail from dell that ur service is complete with the erof included in it which contains the info about the part is returned back to dell.

                                        O after viewing all points above it is show a clear thing that there is no involvement of customer with any parts. Customer is not responsible for any parts which are sent back to dell by its own technician because the faulty parts are always taken away by technician only.
                                        O customer is not aware whether parts are sent back or not whether same parts are sent which are taken from customer laptop or what.


                                        But the dell escalation team says that customer is responsible for it. How can customer be responsible for it when the parts are taken away by the technician.

                                        And after talking to dell escalation team and seniors i did not got any positive response. They were stuck to their words that your services are blocked now because some serial number did not match.


                                        Now if we talk about mismatch so what i got a response from dell is that all the serial numbers of the all the parts are different and they are not matching according to our database. I again inquire to provide me the details which parts are not matched but they were stuck to their words all parts.
                                        I got frustrated that how it could possible when all parts are replaced by technician only and are sent back by technician only then why it happens now.
                                        Again i tried my best efforts to get the details how it can be possible that all parts are not matching so i tweeted and get a call from person who listen to me and give his best to provide me with the accurate information why this is happening so he told me that the hardive and dvd r/w serial are not matching thats why the service is locked.

                                        If we come to why the serial number of hdd and dvd r/w is not matching so just read the following it will explain whole that what was happen.

                                        = got my laptop hardrive and dvd replaced=
                                        If i say about my service so in april i locked the call for hdd and dvd drive replacement, on 12 april technician visit to my place with the parts and he replaced both the parts and installed the windows in drive. When he completed all then i asked for my faulty hdd so that i can recover my data from it so they told me sir it was not told me to do so but i said i have already told them and then i locked the call so he talked to dell and they told him to give faulty hdd and took the parts that u have replaced and put all faulty parts back and hand over the faulty hdd so that customer can go for recovery.
                                        So he took all the parts he brought and placed my faulty parts back and handed me my faulty hdd to recover data from it. I have also got the erof from ur side in which serial number mentioned for both the parts which where returned back to dell because they were not replaced because faulty hdd handed and faulty drive putted back into my laptop and the parts that technician brought was returned back and technician also took my signature of mine on mobile. On 19 april i mailed that data recovery is done please process further replacement. On 25th technician visited my placed and replaced both faulty parts with the parts he brought and installed the windows and he took my signature again. But i did not got any erof from your side for the service provided to me on 25th due to which i am facing this issue because technician has not updated the data with the dell and he has not generated the erof for my faulty parts.
                                        Due to which serial number is not matching.. When the data is not updated with the dell then how will it match?

                                        So who is responsible for this.

                                        And after last service i am facing many issue in my laptop because technician was not aware of this model due to which many parts got damaged and now when these issue were intolerable i called dell and locked a call and when technician came and verify all the details so what i found that some parts of serial number is mismatched.In last 4 years i have never faced such a thing that i am facing this from my last service.
                                        The parts that are mismatched are the only parts that was replaced in last service it was the technician only who has not updated to u. So this is not my problem how u take it i have invested 26k to get complete coverage and now what i am here is that no service can be processed.

                                        And i am not so foolish that i will replace or purchase the products my own and will get replaced in my laptop when i am having complete accidental coverage.


                                        So just contact vipin patakh who had visited my place.

                                        Dell team is not sharing even a signal thing with me about my laptop. Its my laptop why u cant share it with its owner even bank share details with account owner so whats the problem of sharing the details of my laptop with me.

                                        Dell team is not providing even a single thing that information rather they are saying that whenever we have received the parts back for ur laptop the serial number doesn't match. I cannot trust this thing because in last 4.5 years i haven't seen this problem but from my last service which took place in april i am facing this issue. I had already mentioned about the whole scenario that happen to me while getting hdd and dvd drive replaced. But no erof provided to me for the service which took place on 25th april when the faulty parts are taken away by the technician and working parts are placed in my laptop.


                                        So from all the scenario i want dell to answers some of the below points because ia m the owner of laptop and i have full rights to know about my laptop.
                                        Following are the points for which i need answers from dell. (If dell is unable to answer any of the following it will clearly shows that dell is misleading its customer and doing fraudulent activities to deceive customers)

                                        1. As dell says that serial number were not matching whenever they received the faulty parts back.
                                        (Is serial numbers are not matched then why i am not informed about this)

                                        2. Secondly i want to know which was the first part/s whose serial number was not matched and want to know the details of it when it was replaced.

                                        3. If the serial number was not matched suppose in 2012, 2013 2014 or whenever then why i was not informed about it. But service provided to me whenever i faced the issue with my laptop.
                                        (But after last service all happened this that parts didn't matched, before it was matching thats why the services provided to me in april 2016)

                                        4. The service provided to me on 12 april and 25 april 2016 shows that in last 4.5 years all the serial numbers matched that why the service provided to me in april 2016.

                                        5. If the update is not given to u by ur technician so i am not responsible.

                                        6. I have a complete coverage service. If the details is not updated by ur technician its not my fault. At least u have replaced all the parts whose serials are matching. I have complaint about lcd back cover, woofer, bottom base, headphone jack.

                                        Dell must have replaced this items whether hdd or dvd drive serial matching or not because i have not locked the call for these parts because they are working perfect from my last service. But technician has not updated it and even i did not got erof so i am not responsible for it.


                                        On high priority i need positive response from ur side and get my laptop serviced.
                                        Dell India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                        there is no update from dell. dell is not providing any information or nothing.

                                        can anyone provide me dell address for filing complaint against the company.
