We bought 15 laptops (Dell-latitude 3470) and all laptops are raising same problem while setting up the ubuntu which is pre loaded with the laptops - while setting up if giving error - installer crashed, please resolve this issue as soon as possible.

    Sir I have purchased dell machine from a dell exclusive showroom and today I call customer care mr Deepak gupta he told me and showed me rude behavior and he told me to get replaced heat sink but hence I bought this laptop only one month ago so I want to return this bad and faulty product. I m very disappointed with the service I have invested 80 thousand on this product. so I want to get back my money

      Dear team,

      I purchased dell laptop on march 2016 and it has been very slow from day one onwards. When i called the customer care they tried with some trouble shooting which made my laptop a bit better. When i asked them i need much better performance they are saying the issue could be with os. As still my laptop is under warranty why should i pay the bugs again? If the os which was installed in my pc properly done i couldn't have faced this issue. Already i was charged nearly[protected] rs for os. I was questioning the same to the customer care executive and they disconnected the call immediately. Is it not responsible of the dell india to provide the original product and support? Kindly help on this.

          Hi,
          I purchased a Dell laptop -inspiron 15R this month (it has just been 15 days) and it seems that it has become the worst mistake so far.
          First, it's webcam was not work fine and the laptop had to be replaced.
          Then after a few days, the Ethernet port wouldnt work and I had to give it to the service center again for fixing.
          Now, after all this, the laptop is not opening . I went to the service center and now they are commenting that the motherboard needs to be replaced.
          When we buy a laptop, this shouldn't become a weekly trip to the service center. It was bought for some work and now I am stuck with a faulty piece yet again waiting for it to be fixed. I have to travel out of town and now all my schedules have been completely ruined because of this.
          Does the company not run a quality check of the laptop or any other electronic device for the matter before selling to the customer. This is not the first time I am using a laptop so I am aware that so many issues cannot arise unless there has been no check on the part of the seller. It was recommended to me that Dell laptops were high quality but now after this awful experience which may be followed by many more as it now seems, I don't think I will ever recommend buying this brand to anyone.
          Kindly note that it is not possible for anyone to keep running to and from the service center everyday and please ensure that this is my last visit for the same or replace the laptop totally with a proper check beforehand. There already has been too much headache for the same.

          Hope this mail doesn't go unattended and the problem gets resolved soon.

            I purchased dell laptop and within 2 month its power button gone inside, i have raised complaint to dell service center before oct 2015(laptop purchase date aug 2015). that time they have given excuse that they don't have power button in stock. once they ll get in stock they ll contact me for repairing, till now they haven't contacted me back, i have raised complaints 3 to 4 times. worst service after sell and product too.
            i have raised complaints many times but too worst response.

                Hie, this is prashanth. Actually before two months my laptop screen has been damaged, i took it to the dell store(chemit) in mehdipatnam(hyderabad).
                It had been replaced with the new screen charged rs 4000/- and given the warrenty for three months, screen has damaged again and again i took it to the same store, but the person arguing with me that it was my fault. Beacuse of his rude behaviour, i just came back with out screen replacement. This is not fare. In future i dont support anyone to buy the dell laptop.

                  I have purchased a cpu model no cn-0657pn[protected]f-0rfb from hi tech computers suncity building shop no-4 pen khopoli road pen raigad vide bill no 049 dated 03/08/2015.
                  Since fifteen days one white line is coming on the monitor while being in operations.
                  Two persons from hi-tech computers had visited my residence and the problem was shown to them.After checking they told that it is there fault and they will look into the matter within three days, but regret the same has not been attended till today.
                  Now i request your good self to kindly depute your representative at my residence at the earliest so that the problem of my cpu is solved once for all.

                      When i am trying to enter something on laptop screen unable to type anything.. Because continuously * symbol coming and also at that time cursor not moving up to restart the screen, after some seconds iam facing same problem.

                      Hi Ramesh Chebrolu,
                      You may try the following steps:
                      Control Panel - Device Manager - Mice and Pointing Devices - Double Click onTouch Pad -
                      2) Driver's Tab - Click Update Driver drivers,
                      3) RIGHT CLICK on TouchPad and UNINSTALL.
                      Then go to USB Controllers and UNINSTALL EVERYTHING except the category itself (all in it). REBOOT
                      This will refresh the TouchPad Driver and the USB Stack.

                        I had purchased dell laptop (Service code hfy5qx1) inspiron 3537, i5 series on[protected].
                        Mother board mb of this laptop has developed some problem and needs to be repaired. On enquiring with toll free and walkin repair centres of dell they have informed that mb will cost rs 14000 and will not be new, it will be refurbished with 3 month warranttee.

                        Now issue is that if i put rs 14000 on mb as it is repaired what is the benefit if it does not work. Why cant dell provide new spare parts for laptop sold by them two years back.

                          I bought a dell inspiron 3147 laptop (Sevice tag no.- 1gmy812) with windows 8.1, know i want to upgrade into windows 10 but it shows your windows not activated & this is from wheni bought this laptop. Then i call your customer support its says that its charge is 1225/- & then i go to customer care and they also said one time non refundable charges 1364/- is applicable on it. This is not good service from dell.

                            Sir i had purchased my laptop in may 2016 service tag no.H620K72 and after 2 days o[censored]sage it had motherboard problem as told to me by dell customer care, the laptop was not starting even after pressing the power key. So i opt for product replacement and they provided me the faulty piece that too after 25 days in product replacement and has the problem of wifi. The service tag no. Of the new product they provided me in replacement is DQTDFC2. Sir i need a new fresh product not a faulty product. Sir pls help

                              It seems the dell zombies are back in india. After going through the dell phone maze and reaching dell technical support. Their zombie's attitude was amazing and pathetic. We were under impression that after the dell buyback the customer service would be at par with apple but sorry to say that it has gone worse. It also seems that customer service in india would take another century before even reaching what singapore has to offers. Wasted 40mins (30mins talking to a zombie) two calls and again placed in a que. What was use of paying extra for the warranty when the support guys are not reachable or are not interested in serving. We have already started to move away from dell to apple. 20 years back i had a dell laptop being fixed in remote india within 24hrs of complaint and now when they have shops everywhere they are note even ready to take or listen let alone honouring the warranty.

                                The laptop inspiron i purchased from dell in 2014 in usa. Laptop did not power on suddenly from march 2016. I called technical support of dell. They asked me to check ram and battery. I said i cannot do it. So they asked me to first transfer the laptop registration to india and then visit the nearby service centre. They said tag transfer will take 8 to 10 days. It took 33 days. The neraby service centre (I am based in vizianagaram) is in hyderabad -700 kms away. I requested some help for trouble shoot atleast to know what the problem is. On may 3rd they told me that a person will come and trouble shoot my issue and it will cost rs 1500. I refused this offer. A week later they informed me that i can try in vizag service centre (60 kms) away from my place. I was not able to go to service center until june first. When i visited the place they said warranty expired on may 29th. They refused even to trouble shoot my problem.

                                I mailed to customer service after coming back to my place. I did not get any response for any of mails. I called them multiple times on customer service number. Each time i explained the case i was transferred to another dept or disconnected the call. They promised me to call me back but did not call me on any of the three disconnected calls.

                                Problem is
                                1. They do not have any service centre to trouble shoot problem
                                2. They do not respond to emails
                                3. They do not provide complete solutions on phone

                                Worst thing is
                                1. Customer service does not listen to you and they agressively lie.
                                2. They bully the customer forcing him to say the fault is with customer
                                3. The internal report does not match their communication to customer. They are not willing to share the recorded conversations.
                                4. Warranty terms and conditions are very strange and read carefully
                                5. You will get standard response - service centre has 1000 problems. We have no control on them. Tag transfer is done by some other team, we are not responsible for the delay, this is problem with another dept and not mine and they will hang the call

                                My experience was very bad. I decided to email the complaints to michael dell, the ceo of the company. My sincere advise is do not buy dell products unless you have a service centre. If any complaint is not resolved fast escalate to vice presdient, directors and heads of depts of dell india

                                  I have buy a dell inspiron15r5521 laptop I have received it with intel corei3 3rd generation 1.9ghz processor and with no os quick fix kit but when I visit official website of dell it shows that my laptop has 4th generation core i3 processor and after visiting I noticed that I have paid for my original configuration I have make many calls to customer care but no action was taken from their side.

                                      I bought this Laptop on 16th June 2015. I have power issue in my laptop.
                                      My laptop is not starting due to which I call Dell Toll free customer care number [protected] in the month of May 2016. They told me that you laptop is out of warranty but according to my bill, my laptop is in warrant period. Then I contacted my dealer 20 days ago and told all this problem but they didn't help me.

                                        A dell inspiron 5558 was purchased on 24.12.2015 from m/s. R. S. Computers & systems tonk phatak, jaipur vide invoice no.241 & mobile no. [protected] now the adapter of laptop is not working and i have contacted to the dealer for replacing of adapter but the dealer refused to change the same.
                                        We have contacted several time to the dealer and dell company support also. Our important work related to laptop are held up please get it replace as early as possible to avoid inconvenience.
