Display problem in dell monitor

Date of purchase - 20 feb 2016

Lower right of the screen became dim as compared to rest of the screen, it happened while i was using the monitor. No external physical damage has happened. Even i restarted the monitor in order to get the problem fixed, it did not work.

    I have purchased this laptop last 6 months ago, and now it has a lot of problem in it, it get heated, mouse pad not work, charging problem also to slow .and operating system is i 3, its he worst company i have ever seen . also now they told me they will replace my parts and install old parts in my new laptop, when i told please replace my whole laptop they told no we can only just replace ur parts and put the old one .so what does warranty means .please help me out in this case thanks what can i do now ?

      Hi,
      I bought a dell inspiron 15 model laptop from dubai. I want to use this laptop in India. This product shows some issues in its first usage. The actual problem is in the boot screen itself. It's service ta code is 30R5K72 and express service code is [protected].

      I contacted the customer service in india. They told to transfer the ownership to India. I have done it as per their request. But i didn't get any acknowledgment for my request and also i am not able to contact the customer service since they are telling like they cant find the express service code.
      Please resolve this issue as early as possible. My mob number is [protected].

        Display is not working properly. Technician has already checked the issue. Its been two months that i have been calling dell customer care which takes about 30 mins to connects the call and issue a complaint/request.

        Still have not got the display panel which is requested due to unavailability of parts. If not resolved in 2 days the complaint will be lodged to the consumer grievances department of govt. Of india.

          Dear sir/madam
          Last year, i purchased dell tablet (Venue 7 3740 lte calling). Service tag of dell tablet is b8g8222.
          From 17/05/2016 my tablet is unable to detect simcard. So i went to dell authorized service center at patna, icon computer kadam kuan patna - 03 on 18/05/2016.
          At dell service center patna, first they checked my dell tablet warranty status and also checked any damage, scratches of tablet. They (Dell service center patna) received my tablet under dell warranty and provide dell sdar report (Customer acknowledgement) with dsp reference no -'enq/rq_fr_patna2/16-17/0000030'.
          They have already mentioned at the time of receiving in dell sdar report that no damage/scratches found on tablet.

          But after two day, they told me dell has denied to give you warranty becsuse there is small scratches on simcard insert kit. Thats why your tablet is unable to detect sim card. I told him, i didnt do. But they told me "simcard jis motherboard kit pe insert hota hai, wahan pe 3 thin blade hota hai, jisme se ek tut gya hai, bahut patla blade hota hai, galti se kavi simcard fasa ho, ya simcard nikalne pe thin blade kat gya ho".. I told him no..
          Again and again service center told me, dell has denied to give you warranty. This service will be cost you 5000. So,

          I called up dell customer number on [protected].. I told everything to dell customer care, dell customer care told me 'your tablet is still under dell india warranty including accidental damage warranty up to 25july 2016.
          Dell customer care told me to tell this to the dell service center to replace that kit under dell warranty or dell accidental warranty.
          Again, i told this to dell service center, but dell service center is saying we also contact to dell india by email, and dell has denied to give you warranty.

          Sir, i dont know what to do now. Dell india should call service center, but no.
          My tablet is still in the dell service center.
          Here, i have attached 3 supporting document.
          1) screen shot of my dell tablet warranty status which i captured from dell website.

          2) dell service center customer acknowledgemnt, where they have mentioned no damage/ scratches found at the time of receiving.

          3) screen shot of my pre - instaled dell app waranty status.

          My dell tablet service tag is - b8g8222.
          Dell india website show my tablet warranty status like this..
          Dell warranty expire - 25/07/2016.
          Accidental damage warranty - 25/07/2016.
          Parts only warranty - 25/06/2016.
          I am waiting for your positive response.

            I have purchased a laptop - Dell NB 3537 i3/4/500/1/15"/W8 - Serial:DK8RRZ1 on 31.08.2014.
            I strongly believe that I have been supplied with a faulty laptop.
            Immediately after purchase, the laptop showed lots of problems. On contacting Dell service they informed that motherboard and harddisk are to be changed.Since it was under warranty period they have changed mother board and
            harddisk. Immediately after that the display of the laptop failed. Since by that time, warranty period is over I have paid Rs 6000 for rectifying the display issue. (Invoice No. INV-EXCSPL-DELLCIS COCHIN[protected] dated 22.02.2016.They have also provided 3 months warranty for the new monitor.

            Within 3 months again the display of the laptop failed. The Dell Service refused to rectify the issue free of cost even though it was within the warranty period.(On 14.05.2016)

            In this context I wish to inform you that primarily the laptop purchased by me is defective. Within a span of two years I Harddisk, otherboard, monitor etc was damaged. Now you have again demanded an amt of Rs 6000 for rectifying the display issue.
            It is my earnest request to you to replace the defective Laptop with a new one.

                  Hi radhakrishnab,
                  Based on your post, it may be a driver issue. I’d suggest you some basic troubleshooting steps. It may help you to solve the issue..
                  If the HDD appear with yellow circle with an exclamation mark in device manager. So please follow the below steps to update the drivers.

                  -Open the Control Panel.
                  -Select Device Manager .warr
                  -In the Device Manager, expand "Universal Serial bus controllers".
                  -Right click on your controller and select Properties.
                  -In the new Tab, click on the "Driver" tab and select "Update Driver". Then select "Search automatically".
                  -Restart your PC and try to access the HDD again.

                  Hope it helps.

                  You may try the following steps:
                  Control Panel - Device Manager - Mice and Pointing Devices - Double Click onTouch Pad -
                  2) Driver's Tab - Click Update Driver drivers,
                  3) RIGHT CLICK on TouchPad and UNINSTALL.
                  Then go to USB Controllers and UNINSTALL EVERYTHING except the category itself (all in it). REBOOT
                  This will refresh the TouchPad Driver and the USB Stack.
                  Hope it helps.
                  Hi Venkatasrikanth,
                  You may try the following steps:
                  1. Press Windows + R to run Regedit
                  2. Follow the address: [HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWindows]
                  3. You will see the string called Load, and its value is something like this: [...]LOCALS~1Tempmsuwflvuc.exe
                  --> That's the root of the issue.
                  4. Make sure you have permission to edit the key, by clicking menu Edit > Permissions..., then tick the box Full Control in the Allow column > OK.
                  5. Just delete the string Load you've seen in step 3.
                  Hope it helps.

                    I have Dell Inspiron N5110 laptop.
                    I have an issue with laptop display which shows white screen only.
                    My system is out of warranty now but as per the Dell's policy I can get the replacement support for my system's part if it falls under 90 days replacement policy.

                    Which means if Some of my system's part is changed and if it gets faulty I can get a replacement for it in 90 days even if the warranty is over.

                    As I'd got this part after 9th March 2016
                    I can get the support for the same which is also confirmed by Dell Support.
                    But now they are denying to support saying Sir system tools are down, they are under maintainance, they are saying me the same from last 10 days
                    And sometimes they disconnect my call by giving reason of transfering call to senior.

                    I hope to get the resolution ASAP.

                        Hi ansh auto mobile,
                        Based on your post, it may be a hardware issue. To confirm the possible reason, why PC is shutdown by itself. There are possible reasons like high temperature, MOBO, RAM, HDD or PSU causing the issue. I give you some basic troubleshooting steps. It may help you to solve the issue.
                        -Remove the Overclocking if there is.
                        -Try to install Real-temp software. It will help to monitor the temperature of the system. If temperature is more than 40c, so I'd recommend you to add the cooling system.
                        -Download HD-tunes or DLG software to check the HDD. If possible, try different HDD with same MOBO.
                        -Try different RAM or MOBO to make sure that the problem is with the RAM or with the MOBO.
                        -Try different PSU to make sure that the problem is with power or with hardware.
                        Hope it helps.

                        Generally, anything above 90 is when you should be worrying as dangerous periods at this temperature can ruin the lifetime and wear down your computer components.

                        However, temp is almost same as prolonged periods, it can affect the hardware anytime.

                        To overcome the problem, you can consider getting a new liquid cooling system or take regular breaks.

                          The same thing happened again and again:
                          We gave the laptop, inspiron 14 (3420) in the end of service warranty period with the problem "getting shutdown (Some times cannot turn on without any reason after normal usage" at the end of warranty period (I think after the period was finished) they returned me back my system and they told they changed the almost every part of laptop which includes mother board too. After i got the system back, the frequency of shutdown has monotonically increasing since it got repaired (At that time it was shut downing very hardly but now it increased drastically).

                          Few days back after normal usage and shutdown, we tried to on the system, but unable to on it. No response from any other device and led.

                          My concern is, how inefficient the servicing or servicing staff is? This is my second laptop (Previous one is dell studio 15) got repaired in the same way (Cannot turn on after the normal usage) and that both got the same problem after 3~5 months after the warranty finished. I also serviced my both laptops at the end my service period. How come these service technicians are inefficient in the prestige company? Or this is by intentional for non-warranty laptops?

                            I have a dell laptop the hard disk of which crashed. I called up dell india and specifically said that i only need the hd of the same make model seagate 500gb st9500423as. The personnel said that the hd is available in their us warehouse and hence it would cost 7000/- alongwith the engineer visit charges. I paid the same and after following up for a month they said the hd was never available and now they would give me a western digital which is available in india. It would no longer cost 7000/- also wd is not as good in performance as seagate. When i cross questioned they said they would not give me wd but get seagate only. But then they sent the engineer with wd again. I denied giving my laptop to the technician. Dell then decided to refund my money back on april 15, 2016.

                            It's been a month and still the refund is only under process and no transaction reference number. They just loot you into saying they will give you the same product and quote a price of importing the product with duty and later just give you something which is available locally and charge the same. Also refund is slow process and they get to use your money.

                            Never ever get any services from dell india.

                                Issue with laptop - accidental ingress of water in the keyboard resulting in non functional keyboard.

                                Visited dell exclusive store Belapur sector-15. Navi mumbai.india

                                I was asked to come back after 8 days . On the day of my collection of my laptop I found several keys are not working.

                                I told the store manager mr. Anirudh
                                What to do next. ?
                                He exclaimed "what can we do sir. Aapka display aa gaya. Hamara kaam khatam. He said those keys
                                might have been non functional
                                before he received the laptop. So he cannot do anything. All this in a very high pitch and rude manner. When I retailiated by saying this behaviour is not acceptable to me and is this how u treat a customer?. He exclaimed you don.t teach me how to tackle a customer. All this while he was pointing fingers and shouting at me. Finally I had to pay him the due fees of Rs 3750 just to get back my laptop.

                                Current status. 5keys not working.

                                Isn.t it obligatory on their part to check the keys when their is water in the keyboard.

                                The point of this complaint is to point out about this horrendous experience. I went to dell just because I did not wanted all this mess.

                                If need be pls take action against such practices. It only harms the brand.

                                  I Amey Ghatge purchased Dell Inspiron 7000 – (7548) – Purchase Date: 25/12/2015 – From Dell Exclusive store (Dombivli) . Within a
                                  week of purchase I notice that there is problem with the display –
                                  screen flickers intermittently, which I immediately inform to Dell
                                  Exclusive store – Dombivli.


                                  They advise me to contact Dell Customer support. Upon contacting Dell
                                  customer support, bearing patience killing wait, I followed steps as
                                  told by your technician but till the end I have not given any
                                  resolution. Instead I received the strange advice like this laptop is
                                  not designed for software like Adobe Photoshop (being a Professional
                                  Photographer by Profession I used these software and my primary
                                  purpose of purchasing this 7000 series laptop was running these
                                  software only)


                                  I have contacted customer support few more times after that but of no
                                  use. I again contacted your store and called customer support from
                                  there itself and with the help of their technical person Dell
                                  Technical support registered a call and agreed to send their engineer
                                  with Screen for replacement.


                                  Upon your technician’s visit He inspected the laptop and also noticed
                                  and confirmed that there is problem in Laptop. Still he replaced the
                                  screen but issue was not resolve.


                                  When I contacted Dell Customer support and spoke to technician I was
                                  asked to follow all the diagnostics again and came to conclusion that
                                  motherboard could be faulty and they will replace motherboard now.


                                  I was facing problem immediately after purchase of my laptop, I
                                  contacted immediately as per directed by Dell Store, But Dell took 3
                                  months to accept the technical problem and send engineer at my place.

                                  Now it is not at all acceptable that Dell will keep on replacing all
                                  parts of my brand new laptop with no resolution.

                                  I am extremely unsatisfied and frustrated after purchasing Dell Product.

                                  Moreover as A product also Performance is not acceptable and I am very
                                  unsatisfied.

                                  I face problem with Screen colour reproduction also they are not as
                                  required even after this laptop is having top quality 4K Display.

                                  Software I used like Adobe Photoshop does not run smoothly.


                                  I want full refund for this purchase also compensation for the time
                                  and money I lost because of this problems.

Is not working properly from 2 months. The battery system not charge properly and charger system is creating problem and some problem genrate. I am distrubed a lot with this presiously, i field complaint to dell (Your) customer care service and tthe executive said that the warrenty has been expired on 19 march 2016. And said laptop warrenty not updated so contact your respective dealer. I know dell default purschase warrenty 1 year given but i am purchaced laptop approx 4 month ago. Therefore i contact the dealer on 26th april 16. And the dealer filed complaint by mail and other process, after that he asked me to wait for 24 hour. But after 2 days again i contact the dealer and checked my warrenty online but still the warrenty has not been updated, there was no response from dell support, and dell executive mr. Ankur. Then again said to me that wait for 7-10 days for procesing was continious. Today is above 15 days there was not response from dell support care and dell excutive, this make me unsatisfied and i was very much distrubed as my work was pending from last 15 days. I am use other people laptop some day, i fell gilt a lot purchased a dell laptop. I am very much puzzeld now. This kind of behaviour is not expected from dell authority. I am continously puzzled with my dealer also but no response at all. I am that much frushated and please reply to this issue or otherwise i sell my laptop, and i will never suggest some one to purchase dell product.
