My n5010 which was not in warranty period was auto shutting down with a noise of high speed running fan. I contacted dell authorised service partner "4rd group solutions" and to my surprise they changed my harddisk with a sum of Rs. 4500 without giving back my original hdd. However, the issue is not yet solved and now after 2nd service they now claim a problem in my IC(processor) which they are unsure if it can be repaired. My laptop is still unusable and they hav not replaced my original hdd and didnt return the money. Is there anything you can look up into??

        I purchase a dell venue 7 3741 tablet on 4 th september 2015 ..it has one year warrenty...now my charger damaged during physical problem...i contact dell customer support ..they says that ..my product have no warrenty in product only warrenty in software...but in my purchasing time online product detailed in 1 year manufaturer warrenty for device and 6 monts warent for in-box accesories...i am purchased the product in amazon...they provides the detail under the product...this is cheating with customers...i want my product to replace...

          I have purchase dell laptop vastro 9th of nov 2015... service tag number is 573HY52 . i have facing issu of flikrin in on my laptop lcd screen 2times replaced lcd but still not working i did call on dell custmer care service number talked with parshant and his floor manager mr. deepak kumar they argement with me but they dn't know about policy and principal of dell service i wanted to replace my laptop but still nobody help me kindly help me?

            I have given my laptop for service to manipal Dell exclusive showroom. They told service isn't available there so sending to manglore, so that manglore service people will call me back after diagnosis and total service would take 7 days After 4 days manglore service guy called and told that he need7 more days to check since need to open the mother board (my problem is only power button hinge).I told him clearly that 2 months back I have given to service..n mother board was checked properly...its only the hinge I need...and if any case u think u need to open the mother board, please diagnoise and tell me in 2 days...he said he needs 7-10 days only for checking the problem..I said please do it in 2 days(checking). He without explaining anything just stated that"do it in your home, I m returning it to manipal" and hung the phone.I got my laptop without servicing please respond on this issue asap

              On 6 oct i complain of touch and keyboard issue of my laptop.on 12 oct they send technician They take about more than 2 hrs to repair the laptop but they broke screw of laptop and said it is jammed, unable to repair it even gave back to me in unbootable condition. They use poly thin packing to pack the laptop and use cello tape to pack other things & they told me that they are basically from HCL not DELL & told me that they will come again with in week and replace the part of the system. On 15 oct I complain about this and requesting them replacement of the system then about one week they call me &still they conform about the system replacement or part replacement. After confirmation of system replacement.They call me for part replacement but i request for system replacement & was forcing me to go for part replacement & she was shouting on me They were sending me mail for system replacement and providing some defective system with scratch on the system when i requesting them for some other system they dnt respond me. After on month i have call them again regarding my system they hold my call for more than 30 min & connect my call with different people still i dnt find any solution Service Request Number :[protected], last call i receive from Raj Kasnt Jha, Senior Support Resolver, Dell | Consumer, Small and Medium Business, said if you go for system replacement then it will take 25 days on part replacement 2-3 days they i ask its already more than one&half month still you want 25 more days, he said that do what ever you want lets see what happen. then i finally requesting them for part replacement still no response from them its about a week Even the warranty period of my system is till jan & they didn't extend it .

                Three nos Desktops were purchased about 2 yrs+ agoout of which two desktops have stopped working. Computers cannot be started at all. For a religious Charitable Publlic Trust such as ours, it has become chaotic particularly when two of three units stop working. Can some one visit our institution and render repair service.                   I m using laptop model no 3542 tag no.D8PZ812 ...i have many tyms complain against dis laptop...in result ur technician came but there is no better solution provided for dis..i have also visited to service centre..still facing so many problems..within 12 months causing serious problem, ...requesting you to chnge this piece asap..A HUMBLE REQUEST ..

                    I purchased a dell laptop and found a bright spot on the screen, Immediately I requested to replace the laptop asap. So they accepted the replacement request and it took around one month the whole process for replacement. But when i got the new one, I found there are a lot of issues in the laptop like (Bluetooth is not working, System being very slow, touch pad doesn't work, keypad doesn't work properly etc etc). Then I tried a lot to fix the issues myself as well with the help of their technical support, but all in vain. Eventually I tired of being calling and calling the support and stopped contacting dell support. I don't know what to do ?

                    I experienced similar problems with Dell 'technical' support. I spent may hours/days analyzing the hard drive with their overseas support team (I am in US). Issues came up so the device was shipped to have the drive replaced and formatted. Once the device was returned to me, it still had the same hard drive in it, and instead was reformatted.

                    Dell consumer products are overrated, overpriced, cheaply made, and under-supported. Tech support takes their time to resolve issues, is unethical in their practices, and once the warranty runs out they stick you with a bill which would equate to the cost of a new laptop; you are left with a glorified doorstop.

                    I would not recommend any of their consumer grade products! Stick with either commercial grade (which includes a longer warranty), or a competitor who will take much better care of you as a customer.

                      SR Number[protected]As registered with Dell) India technical support wasn't able to arrange the parts for a laptop in warranty due to certain issues at their end basically the parts being unavailable for more than 30 days and I waited for those many days hence they processed for a replacement of the faulty unit with a refurbished one.

                      The unit was picked up from my place prior to delivering the new system as per their policies on the same day itself and every now and then after repeated emails from my end they replied me stating we're working with our factory team to get this issue sorted out but they didn't .

                      And after awaiting for 60 days they're saying that we cannot go ahead with the replacement as the part number on some parts of the laptop aren't matching their records.

                      How come I'll be aware of that ?? Dell doesn't provide us a list of all the part numbers on each and every component of the laptop while taking money from us initially neither he asks us to open up the laptop and check all the part codes and then confirm with their factory and then pay them.

                      The unit was in their factory for these many days how'll I be assured that the parts are the same or not and how come I being a customer would be aware of the part numbers and all. Dell asks end users to verify the SERVICE TAG/SERIAL NUMBER while purchasing and that I did.

                      And of all, I didn't ask them for any replacement .. It was Dell with whom the parts weren't available I awaited but they couldn't arrange the parts so I asked for an alternate resolution because I was facing a lot of issues for the same.

                      I want to sue them under Section 420 of Indian Penal Code.

                        I given a laptop to dell service store, the problem only an changing the hard disk technician told me, i to agreed for that, he charged me RS5200/-, I asked out side same 500HD is available for 3000/-, He not bothering about the customers yet he havn't given a proper answer.I[censored] want means do outside only, why you came here, He is not at all giving respect
                        More over pls don't buy DELL products bludy

                          I have recieved the laptop after 15days, problem still persists - many Files/folders got hidden up (issue starts the day motherborad replaced on 16th MAy'15) - screen fluctuation/flickering - Itune backup data lost Not able to undertsand the expertise where it lies - out side of cap or inside of mind Before my laptop's warranty expired, I have handed over the laptop so that mother board can be replaced thougt it has not been undertaken. After speaking to your colleague/team member, he said hidden files problem solved and as per his expertise - files copied form hidden files and created a new folder wherein the files pasted and issue resolved. However I as leyhman dont believe that this step/activity should come from service engineer. "C" drive data formatted without my knowledge and now I am facing issue with pivotal docs lost which was saved in ITUNES. - as per discussion with your colleague stating he has taken a backup of c- drive and what i found he has copied all desktop items and pasted in folder named as c-drive back up.. WHAT IS THIS??? I need my itunes backup data back. PLEASE.

I suggest u all pls don't buy dell laptop because the company only believe sell the product and after that not provide good service. Im buying a laptop from flipkart and I want to extend my warranty in festive offer but there is no source. I call at customer care number but he is totally refuse me.                               I have purchased dell Inspiron 5558 a few days ago and was facing some issues with the installation of Mcafee. Assuming that I'll get a better guidance on the installation procedure from customer care, I called the customer care- [protected] [ then dialled 4 followed by the recorded instruction(09.11.2015 at 16:46)] where a " supposed to be customer friendly executive" named Deepti answered the call. It seemed because of some network issue I couldn't get her voice properly and naturally asked her a couple of times to reiterate. Now to my utter surprise or should I Say SHOCK her remaining sense of dealing with so called valued customer had just vanished . She not only became unexplainably rude but also disconnected the call on my face . Till date I didn't receive a single call from Dell Customer Care and my query remained unanswered. If this is the normal way of behaving of the customer care executives of a reputed brand as Dell I really wonder whether there would be a single "customer" of Dell in future. It will be appreciated if customer care executive starts assisting customer instead of arrogantly ordering customer how to talk. Hoping that this mail shall make Dell address the issue of such unapologetic rude behaviour of it's customer care executive . Thanks, Ishani

                                Dear Sir/Mam My laptop(DELL) is not working properly, so i submitted the laptop on 06.11.15(friday) at Shee Shyam Computer & Co, EC-20, Salt Lake City, Ground Floor, opposite city center-1, kolkata-64.At first they told me they will inform me within saturday, but they didn't inform me till now.Today Morning(Monday, 09.11.15) i visit that showroom, again they told me they will inform me within 5pm.Again they didn't inform me.Again i visit the show room at 5:30pm but they couldn't tell me what's my laptop's problem and what will have to do.

                                  it takes alot of time to start, sometimes it doesn't even start, i have got windows recovered once from the dealer from whom i've purchased this laptop.but there is no improvement.
