The screen was not working in june 2016 and we complained to customer care to change the screen. Twice that man brought screen and told us it will not fit this computer. There is problem with mother board. We told him to repair it or change it. He said let me check daughter board first. Its been 3 months now they say we dont have parts for this. Please wait for 3 to 4 weeks is the standard answer i get wheni get a call. Today 14th october 2016 same reply i got. I dont know what to do. 55000 computer not working and getting repaired. Its very sad that such a big company has no efficient staff or parts available. Plz email to me on anita.[protected]@gmail.Com

    I have purchased one dell wireless mouse with serial no. cnofy15n[protected]s on 10th october, 2016 for rs.650/-. i started to use it on 11th october, 2016. however, it stopped working after 10 minutes. i tried again but it is not working. it is definitely defective.

    I request for a replacement as it is in the warranty.

      My Dell Laptop Inspiron 3521 is under accidental warranty.
      My screen was replaced last month due to dot problem over the screen. After screen replacement on third day i notice that my laptop screen was yellowish in colour, which was replaced to me. I replied to email(medha who created my services) and tell her regarding this. They said it is not a big issue. In the mean time during call and talking to dell Customer Care(Medha) . i again noticed dot on screen. During call i send the pic of dot on 3 days old screen . They noticed my problem and said it will be replaced soon. After two days i contacted dell that due to bike accident my laptop body got damaged . I send them pics .She said are u sure you want to use your one time accidental warranty under which your parts will be replaced? i said yes. pls replace the parts. I also tell her that my adaptor is broken form inside and it gives sparking sound. She booked my service. After one or two days she called me and asked sorry that she booked my service. it was my 10th service and it is company policy that they want their engineer to test my laptop why laptop is creating problem again and again. i welcomed the decision by dell as i was also curious why there is dot problem coming again and again in my laptop. Dell engineer visited home and cross checked that my problem is genuine . He also told the dell customer care some other parts. That call was received by Soumya(Customer Care) and noted my complaints. After one or two days she called me from number [protected] (Now i am calling this number and telephone operator said number does not exist) She tell me that the total cost of all the parts is very much. They offer me two things either to go to chandigardh service center or have refurbished laptop replacement. I denied i can't goto chandigardh and i also denied that i need my parts replacement as i wont compromise with refurbished laptop. She said for parts replacement she need approval from higher authority. I said ok. Then Harish from higher authority called me to convince me. i represent my point of view that i wont compromise with refurbished laptop. You pls replace the parts. He said me to wait for 24 to 48 hours. I said ok. then he called me that my request for parts replacement has been accepted. I need to wait untill their team verify some ppid of parts. i said ok it your internal process . Today on dated 13.10.2016 i got call from higher authority Escalating team (Shalu). She said my parts cannot be replaced as their is ppid mismatch and my service tag has been blocked for future services also.
      I ask following question to dell team?
      1) if i had refused to medha who booked my services and after booking services she requested for engineer check. I cooperate with dell at that point by respecting your company policy as i also want to know why there is dot problem again and again coming.? i cooperate with dell now you are not cooperating? if i had refused for dell engineer visit? then till now my services would have been created by you and services completed? is it my fault i cooperate with dell?
      2) When Miss Soumya was offering me refurbished laptop replacement? on what basis she was offering? then PPID was not checked?
      3) When dell engineer was dictating PPID at my home to customer care(Soumya) of the parts which needs to be replaced ? At that time why did not she said PPID is not matching?
      4) When i refused your offers (visiti chandigarh or have refurbished laptop)and i requested to replace my laptop parts only which is causing them huge amount i guess. Dell has found an excuse to run away from services? When i asked Higher authority tell me the PPID you are expecting ? so that i can check my self (if you allow) where is mismatch then she refused to do so?

      But i beg to differ from you as follows:-
      1) from the very first day when i purchased laptop till now i have been calling dell customer care as my laptop is in warranty. Even for the problem if a screw of laptop is missing. You can check your records. I don't go in market for any issue where there could be possibility of parts replacment of fraud and even touch my laptop. I have my laptop in warranty why i would go to market for this? Every time my laptop is opened by your dell engineer
      2) PPID mismatching is your internal issue i have nothing to do with it? A layman customer only want his laptop run efficiently. it is your engineer duty to note down the PPID of parts. and inform you accordingly. If there is mismatch then fix the responsibility of your engineer not me. why i suffer from this? I have nothing to do with PPID?
      3) the parts like LED back panel which i never replaced till now . Dell is saying that ppid of that also does not match? are you kidding me? The body of my laptop never got replaced till now. They are the parts which i got as brand new laptop. If there is mismatching of such parts then whom you actually want to blame ? customer ? or dealer who supplied the laptop? When you sell your laptop? You tell your customer to note down the PPID of all the parts so that to make record of that ? Is it customer duty? or yours?
      4) Your higher authority team is indirectly accusing me that i am guilty of PPID mismatch as laptop is with me always? if there is mismatch then i am responsible?
      5)It is a clear case of harassment by not providing services as services are being delayed by giving one excuse or other?
      6) I have all the emails conversations and call records with dell Which if asked will be reproduced by me.

      My laptop Screen, laptop damaged body and Adaptor are my priority and You should replace these parts atleast.
      Through this i am asking help to provide me dell services and unblock my service tag or at the end i have to go to Consumer Court to seek my rights and service.

        The above laptop is under extended warranty period which expires only on 12/07/2007. The Service Tag number is F5684Z1 and the Express Service Code is[protected]. The warranty is a comprehensive warranty which covers even accidental damage, and I have paid for it heavily. Today I noticed that the laptop screen was getting detached from the top cover and could ultimately fall off. I reported the problem on their Service Helpline telephone number. After hearing my full complaint the service representatives kept transferring my call from one person to another and I had to repeat my complaint each time. The representative to whom the call was ultimately transferred kept repeating in Hindi that he could not understand anything. I repeated the complaint to him in Hindi several times, and the reply I got from him was that this problem will require repair and that I will have to pay for the repair. This is the irresponsible reply given despite the fact that the additional warranty purchased by me covers both hardware and software, as well as even accidental damage to the hardware. I am stationed in Allahabad where Dell does not have a service centre and so they unceremoniously try to disown responsibility for all hardware problems despite the warranty. There is another hardware problem from which the laptop suffers from the beginning. The battery cannot be taken out even after pressing the necessary buttons because it is completely jammed. This was clearly a manufacturing defect but Dell refused to rectify it although several complaints were made from time to time.

            We have purchased dell laptop from m/s snapdeal, maharashtra on[protected]. it was told product has 1 year warranty which should end on[protected]. but on checking it online warranty has ended on 26th june 2016 and 26th sept 2016 respectively.
            Invoice has been wrongly updated by dealer/ company.
            Now the product is not performing well due to which my work is getting hampered.
            Need to get a replaced asset and compensation for delay in providing promised services...

              Dell is hell

              I had picked a Dell inspiron 7348 in 15.10.2015 for Rs. 65000 from the Dell exclusive store at Sector 43 at Gurgaon.
              The laptop USB ports were very tight and the external drive was not recognised off and on.
              Being a trusting customer, it did not occur to me that the USB ports were malfunctioning and due to the tight port the plastic body beneath the port got damaged. When the issue became persistent I reported it to Dell customer support in July 2013.
              Their engineer on his first visit had fixed the USB port function with a simple screw driver and suggested that the laptop be given to service centre for the cosmetic repair.
              The service centre in gurgaon was a dingy, dismal and dirty place very inappropriate for a company like Dell. I did not want to leave my laptop there and requested them to tell me whenever they need the laptop to order the part I will come with the laptop even if it takes me 4 to 5 visits. I was scared that my laptop will be spoiled looking at the dingy condition of Service Centre.
              The service centre misreported that the laptop fell and got damaged and this was reported without my consent. There are no signs of damage or dents on my laptop which should have occurred had it fell.
              Once I received back my laptop from the service centre...
              serious system malfunction issues started post changing the top plastic pad of laptop . At the service centre at the time of receipt it self the laptop did not boot. They took it back and made me wait for half an hour and fixed something so the laptop at least booted. During use after that I realised that the laptop had developed serious booting and charging issues .
              Let me also bring to notice that these are the words of DELL online executives who were trying to help me with the system malfunction post service centre visit .. " you should not have taken your laptop to the service centre mam, They spoil it."
              Since July 2016 I have been fighting a hopeless battle with Dell. I contacted first their customer service centre..they wasted two months of my professional time in running various diagnostics which led nowhere.
              I even tried contacting their MD Alok Ohrie. But at Dell everything falls on deaf ears. From customer service my case was passed to Some one called Mr. Neeraj Nair..who is from Advanced Resolution group. He was another horror story altogether.
              This man did not keep to any commitment of the so called on-site engineer visits..some time it was rain..and sometime just a sorry for time delay in engineers visit.
              My laptop is so unreliable that I need to back up all my work either on email or a drive. Also using the mouse is a night mare as it has a mind of its own.

              After this hellish experience with their dirty service centre I have been insisting on a complete refund of my money from Dell . I have had to force purchase an HP pavilion for my suffering professional work due to Dell for the last 3 months. This is with in a year of purchase of DELL straining my finances .
              It's a shame the way Dell treats it's customers. Thank God they don't have a monopoly and we have other good brands like HP.
              Hoping they feel ashamed of the way they take their customers for a ride
              They have replaced
              the hard drive, the mother board still system issues like windows., Mouse senstivity and adapter recognition are persisting off and on.
              They still have the audacity to propose more engineer visits and an extended warranty...What will the extended warranty fetch me when the system is damaged beyond repair.

              I am in the process of sending Dell a legal notice.
              My advice to all small time professionals and students...NEVER BUY DELL YOUR MONEY IS LIMITED AND PRECIOUS ...BE SENSIBLE

                Am fed up with Dell Service, I raised a complaint on 18th October 2016 still my laptop replacement process not happen till the date. You asking to mark a mail for any Quotations...?? call me i have few dotes for my laptop replacement. After that I will approve for my laptop replacement. I don't have time to write the mails that to I don’t have internet to check my mails,

                Note: - in the below paid the amount for laptop Extended warranty for Defective DOA laptop same extended warranty need to come for my replacement laptop then only I will Approve for it. otherwise I will file a complaint in consumer court.                   I bought a DELL monitor in February, 2016 with 3 year onsite warranty. After 6 months the monitor is having trouble displaying proper picture as there is a reddish tint always. As procedure, I contacted the customer care and told them the issue. But they responded in a very strange way. They told me and that have changed their policies of onsite warranty and I have to upload some documents and scanned paper. Please tell me from when buying a DELL monitor we also need to to buy a scanner, high quality camera etc for claiming warranty? Normal person from a developing country can not afford a DELL monitor--is that the new policy all about? i have used 10-15 monitors in my lifetime and nearly used all of the leading monitor brands for myself and my friends. Nobody issues such a dictate for claiming warranty. Onsite warranty means somebody from technical team will come to the buyer and verify the problems and do the necessary action and it was an agreed upon term in 'onsite warranty service'. How can you change the policy so that claiming warranty becomes so difficult? And I recommended to almost all my friends to use DELL monitors instead of LG or Samsung for their excellent quality and customer service. Did I do something wrong trusting you Dell? Waiting to hear from you soon.

                    Hello,

                    I have purhcased dell laptop on nov 2015, with the bill. On month of september 2016, my laptop keypad suddenly stop working. I called customer care - [protected], regarding this issue. They told me that my laptop is out of warranty, which in case should be in warranty as i have purhcased laptopn on nov 2015 i. E. The waranty is not updated by detailer after purchase. So u called to my detailer, they told me that it will take 10 -12 days, but it take 20-25 days for warranty updated. So as my waranty updated, i called to customer care (Nearly 7-8 times) for my laptop keyboard issue. The customer care disappoints me bcoz i was told that a technician will be sent to check my laptop and resolve the issue. But when i called customer care i got answered like that -
                    1-the technician first tel me to diagonise the issue and technically check the issue by myself only. I told him that i cant do that please provide me service center so that i can take my laptop to check dere, the guy give me the address with no. When i called there, the service center told me that they are not authorized to give service under waranty laptop. This is really. You guys only make fools. Is that a customer service by making them fool.

                    2 - the other techician, after knowing everything and it seems that the keypad is not working, giving bad solution like format windows as u r using windows version, as it is very clear that this is majorly the keypad issue. As i replied he cut the phone.

                    3- the other techician responds me good, but after diagonistic test, he told me to open keyboard and check, which icant bcoz i am not technical person to do that, if i do so and something bas happens to my laptop then who will responsible for it. But he told me that he will guide me. But i argued him that i am not comfortable with this, send me any techincian to check this and resolve my issue with nerw keypad, but he denies, and forward my call to manager by saying that this is the customer removable part. (Are you out of your mind, that is the internal hardware keypard, not the usb one that i can check). Got very disappointed with such pathetic customer service of dell.

                    Please kindly take some action against it. And help me to solve my problem. Also i want you to take against the dealer too

                      I place an order for a laptop from dell (Vostro 5459), but laptop provides me or received by me after A Month . Thereafter when I open up the laptop, I shock by seeing that the laptop had the wifi issue, keyboard issue, heating up, motherboard issue and also dell provide me a 6-month-old laptop . After that when I call dell and explain that it is a damaged product what I got, then they argue with me and taking 20-25 days again time, for send engineers to my place . and when engineer visits my place he told me same with a declaration, for that you got one defected product. but when I was informed dell regard this then they told me that, they need to consult this thing with superior, but this talking again takes 7-8 days.
                      After a 2 month struggle with a damaged laptop, I told them that, because this is a new laptop which warranty I got only 3-4 months, all parts defect, can’t open up…so kindly refund my money back without any more excuse….then they asked me to send them money of Rs 1500, if I go for refund…uff ..dell send me a defected product and after that when I inform them regard this that they send me a defected product then they ask me money, means dell send defected product to people and after that when anyone inform them they asked money, hahaha, … what a game by DELL ; my opinion)
                      After that I am not arguing with them and simply inform them that kindly replace my laptop though it is a new one and I am not interested in repairing it, because this is very new laptop I am not even working on it than they again take 4-5 days for consulting and arguing with me but at last they agreed for replacement and I was sent them my laptop with my own money by speed post . also they inform me that I got my reimbursement for the post, but till now I was not seen that money in my account. And now, today (5/10/2016) I was aware of knowing that my speed post received them 2 days early; but till now I was not be informed by Dell side, I don't know what they like to do. Maybe Dell India cheats me.
                      Maybe dell thinks, people have lots of time. As a businessman by a profession, I like that thing when are solved in a click; that’s why only my decision toward dell Vostro, because of dell claim that it is a business laptop and they provide express service for this product line…..but as per me 3 months is not a proof for a fast service.(till now it was not solved).
                      But in this Fast world …..Dell took till now, 3 months of time to deliver a product to my place . Before 3 months ago Dell taken my Hard earn money and till now they didn’t provide me my laptop…..
                      PLEASE HELP, AND REMBUSHE ME MY 3 MONTHS PRECIOUS TIME…WAITING FOR A SINGLE PROPER LAPTOP. "IN A 3 MONTH OF DURATION OF TIME A WORLD CAN BE CHANGED BUT IN A 3 MONTH DELL HAS NOT ABLELITY TO DELIVER A PRODUCT /SERVICE TO THERE CLIENT". PLEASE TELL ME IS IT DELL? In the meantime, the Dell company drops farther down my list of competent Companies with which to deal with in .                       Indian government really look upon this matter steadily on this type of company and control their authority with the hand of government.

                          I purchased dell inspiron 20 two in one 3052 series from a dell outlet in mumbai on 11 sept. 2016 with service tag jj83b22 and express service code [protected]. The machine was delivered on the same day and after opening the packaging it was switched on by the delivery person and i was left on my own to struggle with all teething problems namely ms office trial version which was installed did not function at all. Further, as per the dell deal with canon for which payment was made by me to the dell vendor, a canon printer pixma mg 2570 was also supplied on 20 sept 2016 by courier which remained unpacked for want of any formal installation or directions in this regard from my dell vendor located 100 meters from my house. A ms office software and a protegent antivirus was also purchased from the dell vendor with an assurance by the vendor that he would come and install the software within couple of days of purchase on 11 sept. 2016. But inspite of daily promises the vendor did not turn up till 28 sept 2016 when it was decided to contact dell india customer service.
                          What followed next was the most horrifying experience of my lifetime (I am 65 years old and have dealt with many procurement of this kind). After explaining the background the customer service was quick to transfer me to technical support who in turn after the entire background transferred me to warranties who in turn referred me to software and i was in turn transferred to technical support again who expressed their inability to help and referred me to his superior who apprised me that as per dell policy dell india does not encourage any installation of machines or live demonstration by their engineer or even deputing their service engineer but expects the user to sit in front of the machine which can last for hours with their step by step instructions for troubleshooting. Only after this fails then perhaps it may be possible to depute dell engineer for on site repairs only after satisfying themselves that the fault lies only with the software. The outcome of my call which took almost 90 minutes was a big zero. Incidentally the entire call was to have been recorded as intimated. I was also told that the warranty was only for hardware and hence a dell engineer could not be deputed under the warranty to satisfy my other concerns.
                          For your information just a simple call to canon for a minor printer issue on sunday (Yesterday) has resulted in their engineer turning up today the next morning for needful. But dell india does not believe in any formal channel for reporting defects or complaints by email or a call center for lodging a complaint which can then be passed on to the concerned department internally. But dell prefers to make the customer jump like a ping pong ball between various sections of dell or sit in front their machines for hours for the step by step directions by dell staff with the blessings of the telephone service provider since god forbid if the call gets disconnected in between troubleshooting the poor customer will be left high and dry.
                          After my prolonged conversation on phone with dell india it was clear that the purpose or effort of each executive in dell was to pass the buck. No wonder my vendor also did not turn up for almost 17 days knowing fully well that he was not obliged to help the customer in keeping with the dell philosophy.
                          The present status is that the computer is running very slow, anti virus installed does not scan and stops beyond 5 minutes, computer gets hanged often and printer shows ready but the document does not reach the printer. It is possible that there is ram problem with windows 10 installed. But i do not expect any help from dell india since deputing their engineer on site is not an easy or desirable option. So much for their after sales service and customer satisfaction.
                          I am sure i could have saved a lot of money if i had purchased it online since as such the help provided by dell for installation, setting up and for trouble free operation was nil. I am now planning to dispose off my machine and purchase one with better customer satisfaction concern and which works on indian philosophy and not us philosophy. But even in us they believe in customer friendly step by step guidance and as such they do not disown the customer.

                            Charger or the charging pin inside the laptop is not working properly. If we connect the pin to the laptop, it is charging at a very small power supply. The white light is not in on condition. Please do take this into serious consideration and solve it.

                              I have Dell Inspiron 15 - 3000 series. This Laptop we bought in March 2015. From the beginning we have observed that this Laptop is very slow with Windows 8.1 and 10 as well. But the major problem is that it is not connecting with Wifi connectivity most of the time. At the same time my other laptop is able to connect Same WI FI connectivity.

                              I am really disappointed with this laptop and i come to know that this series has a problem.

                              Just from experience I will tell you that Dell will not help you. First they may say, oh, I am sorry, blah, blah, you are having such an issue but no worry (worries) I will be able to assist you.

                              You spend a lot of time conveying your problem to the person that is answering the phone for DELL but really has no clue and will just transfer you to another department. If that transfer is successful (because usually they will put you on hold until they either drop you or you give up) you will then have to tell your story again.

                              They will tell you that your software is messed up or something of that nature -- they will not give you any assistance with what they deem a "software" issue because they just manufacture the unit itself.

                              They will however try to transfer you (after spending much of your time explaining your problem to the 1st so-called customer service person) to the technical department. Unless of course you have already been told to go somewhere and have it fixed.

                              If your laptop is out of warranty - which it obviously is, they will automatically try and get you to pay for support. I have to inform you that they really don't have a clue about what you are having an issue with.

                              They also will save this small detail for the finale: I will transfer you to the escalated technical department... where you will most likely start all over again. That person will tell you -- no worry(ies) I will definitely be able to help you. They sound all concerned (if they have practiced) until the last sentence that will be heard by you: This will cost (the usual figure I always heard) 159.00.

                              I do sound negative. If you have done any research -- and I have for over a year and still have not received what is expected from a company such as dell, you would be as well.

                              So, what I will tell you about your connection is that you need to troubleshoot on your own. Do you know about your network? Are you familiar with how to reset your modem and all of the basic things? Have you made any changes on the laptop or have there been any damages (defects)? You see, I have had the same problem for the last week. The other thing is that this laptop, Inspiron 15, 5000 series, 5547 was manufactured with cheap parts and the right hinge broke (sent this laptop to them 4 times and had a tech at home one time) not once, but this is the 3rd time! In my case the damaged hinged sits directly on top of the WLAN card and when the hinge broke it damaged the card - therefore no connection to my home network.

                              You really need to do some research - start with talking to your ISP. I have ATT/Uverse and they are Useless as well. I have learned everything on my own. Your problem could be a simple fix but you need to do some investigating. First of all, try connecting your laptop with an ethernet cable directly to the modem. If that works and you get connection, it is probably some type of setting or it could be one of hundreds of things. Do the basics. Call the internet provider first to see if they will help you. Wish you luck. This is a very big $ maker for them. It is sad that you cannot just call up and believe it when they say the (scripted) "oh, I am so sorry you are having this problem, I am sure I will be able to assist you" and actually get an answer instead of what could be what I have lived for about a year and a half in DELL HELL.

                              I am sorry to sound so negative. Try to get answers doing searches on the net w/ the other computer. Trust me, there are a lot of people going through the same problem you are experiencing. I will hope for you to find a quick fix!

                              As they say, "knowledge is power".

                              I have spent over a thousand hours on the phone and have over 300 e-mails just from all of the defective machines they are producing with bad parts. To save money they had all of the manufacturing done - well, you know the history -- as well as customer service call centers instead of properly trained DELL employees. Oh yes, if you decide to do an online chat session, they also do not work for dell and you can write til the end of time just to have them tell you - CONTACT ... because they don't know anything at all about computers!

                              Well, I should stop depressing you - honestly, nothing I have told you is untrue. Watch out for anyone asking for $! Take care and good luck.

                                (1) after five months of the operation systems's lcd was replaced by dell there was lining in the centre.

                                  I had a very bad experience at the dell service centre in guwahati (m/s delight solutions) when i visited to get my dell inspiron 13 7349 repaired. there was some problem with one of my usb ports due to which the port was not detecting any device. the person in charge, after examining my laptop, told me that i should get my motherboard replaced, and that it would take 4-5 days to get it done. since i had some important work, i did not submit my laptop.
                                  I had doubt on this solution given to me so i visited another computer service centre which is quite well-known in our city for their reliable services. the person checked my laptop and told that there was some local problem in the port and he repaired it in half an hour.
                                  I really want to put forward this issue because if the problem could have been solved in just a short span of time, then why was it asked to me by dell service centre to get the laptop motherboard changed. my laptop was in warranty period and i neednt pay for the new hardware but it is a big harrassment to get things done when not required at all.
                                  Please look into the matter as i sense malpractice in this particular dell service centre.

                                    I had purchased dell inspiron 15- 3555 windows 10 laptop on 14 june 2016.
                                    From beginning software problem, slow bootup, shutdown, overheating, freezing happened.
                                    I took it to service center twice, but they checked it and said there is nothing wrong in it,.. Finally i submitted my laptop on 17 august for full checkup. They did put default software again by formatting, and i was assured that it will not give problem afterwards. But again i am experiencing same hanging problem. Why wud i accept a faulty laptop.. I have receipt of last service details and now i will complain in consumer forum against it..
