The parcel was shipped from tanjore to New Jersey on 9th November. On 13 th dhl delivered in damaged condition .all the communication since then is delayed .till daye I have not received any positive reply and refund .

    I have shipped one parcel from bangladesh to india which contains dresses two weeks ago.
    I have paid all duty tax on 24th and KYC documents also completed.
    Still I didn't get my delivery yet. I have called customer service twice. Everytime they checked and confirmed everything is fine they will inform their team to proceed with delivery. 25th November also they have confirmed that it will be delivered by 26th Nov.

    Now today It's saying ON HOLD.

    Could you please take action so that I can get my delivery.

      Package on hold post customs clear

      I sent a package to my parents In Faridabad, Haryana via DHL USA and paid $237 for shipping it. The declared value of the package is $200 and it contains my wedding album and some cosmetics. The shipment cleared customs and was supposed to be delivered last week, on Wednesday, Nov 11th.       Our daughter has sent photo album of marriage n face creams vide HAWB no [protected] .n your office has sent invoice DEL474806 demanding import duty of Rs12590.96, Rs13950.78 asIGST n Rs 1259.10 as SW charges, disbursement fees of 695.92 plus IGST iof Rs125.10 .which is self generated invioice n no proof of payment being made .The value of the good is £200, n £ 250 has been been pre paid as freight .The goods were insured for Rs400£ ..The import duty would be on value of the goods only n would not include freight n insurance value .We have applied under RTI act to get details of levies n payment allegedly made by you without our knowledge n consent n it could not be arbitrary .This is notice to you to deliver package and in case we are to approach authorities for redress keep the package in safe custody as couriier as album is invaluable to us .We are also proposing to initiate legal action in USA too.The import duty on gift on creams is app 40% and books 5% only and by no stretch of imagination it would be about Rs29000/- that is 200% of the value of goods .You are a courier n entrusted with goods to deliver and not lay fraudulently claim and we were neither consulted nor asked to consent for this .Hope you would resolve this within a day or so n not hearing positively from you we will be cinstrianed to intiate legal action and also on media to High light our grievances n your business deal .please

        Dear Sir / Madam,

        I just received a call from Mr Avinash (12.10pm on 14th November 2020) from [protected] regarding the KYC documents for my shipent from Netherlands. WB:[protected].

        I am a senior professor aged 60 years and he is 23 years old. He addresses to me as Nalini throughout the conversation and kept me waiting for more than 5 minutes on line when my correct KYC documents are already in DHL account.
        This is not good manners at all and does not speak of any basic discipline. He can just say Ms or Mrs. It was disgusting to have a conversation with him. I hope that DHL will have and ensure minimum manners while speaking to the customers.
        He should be warned.

          I booked a courier for US, at dtdc with Ref. No. N21452852, on 6Nov at 1PM
          Dtdc transfer it to dhl ref no. [protected]. In tracking observed that my courier was not moving, I repeatedly called & visited dtdc office, then on 12 Nov dtdc taken my undertaking for medicine, earlier I was given Dr. Prescription & purchase receipt. During this period nobody informed me anything. Then also my courier was on hold, again I reached in dtdc, & made complaint. On 13Nov dhl officer made grp discussion. With me & dtdc, then received msg, i was shocked my same & above courier was booked with new dhl tracking no [protected] on 12 Nov. I was sent diwali eatable for my son, but still the courier is pending. You are requested to pl analyse my complaint & give me compensation for day wise delay, and take prompt action on the person/s Who made negligence. In this case dhl quality & prompt delivery status spoiled. Pl treat at this complaint very urgent, & deliver my courier urgently. Thank you waiting for your urgent reply.

            Hi I sent a parcel canvas painting from Botswana to India as a surprise gift to a person there .my parcel still sits in Bangalore India since one month from October 17th

              I recently made a purchase of a toy figure from Amazon Japan which was solely for collection purpose but then made a huge mistake of getting it shipped to me by DHL. At the time of making the purchase DHL collected an amount from me which was higher than the price of the figure and claimed that it was an approximate import fee collected for customs clearance. I agreed noting the fact that DHL agreed to refund the difference amount once customs fees was taken care of. It’s been more than a week now, the item hasn’t reached me and DHL is asking me to declare the price of the item so that they can charge customs on me. So now they will calculate the whole amount which includes the price of the figure and the customs fee collected already and charge me a customs fee again? Never ordering through DHL ever again.

                  The parcel sent to Germany on 28th Oct has not been delivered yet.

                  On Nov 5th, they wanted 110 euros as tax from the consignee and my brother consignee refused to pay the taxes hence the parcel not delivered yet.
                  DHL express is liable to pax taxes if any, as we paid the Rs 9500 and all item's prices were declared correctly. The parcel included 3 t shirts, a sweater and 2 packets of nuts - all price tag intact.

                  On 28th Oct - 1st contact regarding details of materials and weight, they took it and gave the bill. AWB number[protected]
                  Then they rang us up asking if they could repack it and we said OK.Then we received another bill after repacking. AWB[protected]
                  The declaration and price is with them, we don't have a copy.We noticed now that in the 2nd bill, the declared value for customs is 3450 rupees while originally we declared the correct value around 18000/- rupees approx.

                  DHL express Kolkata is not assisting/helping to resolve the issue, We are not sure if original declaration was manipulated during repacking /new airway bill number.Kindly assist in resolving the issue.

                    Dear sir,
                    DHL Shipment AWB no: [protected]

                    with the reference form above shipment AWB number we booked shipment at DHL Poland, Warsaw on 19-oct-2020, my relative from Poland Warsaw Mr.Krzysztof Galoss, mob num-+[protected], he sent us gift product like Toy, mattress, Sope, phone .etc.

                    1)As we attached all document invoice, shipment document.
                    then on 27 oct -20, from DHL email to us for invoice they want so per their requirement we sent them invoice 29-Oct-20.

                    2) After this on 2 Nov -20 From DHL Express email to us us inside the package electronic toy Drone restricted in customs they can not
                    clear in courier.

                    3)DHL representative at poland ask for while shipping the parcel from poland to india, as well removed few items too while cross checking / verifying items like (sanitizer, and perfume )from DHL representative at poland branch which is prohibited to courier and now the consignment /parcel is reached at Bombay custom and they are saying that “ I have to appoint CHA for custom clearance’’ as there is a clearance issue arising due to clearance of one of the electrical toy !!

                    4) If it is prohibited then the same has to be informed to us at Poland itself from DHL team, we are normal consumer we don't have any information about restricted product, its not for any sale this is gift purpose and we don't have idea about CHA agent and all

                    5) Many time we have call and request to at DHL Express regarding same, but they not proper assist and just give same answered appoint CHA, ..! We're just ordinary people so we don't know the customs clearance (CHA) and we don't have any business.

                    6) DHL teams responsibility to clear the consignment and drop the same at our doorstep.. because we charged at DHL Poland PLN 4129 ( RS.80575.29) with insurance, the fault DHL Poland they not inform to us If DHL poland had informed my relatives at the time of booking, we would not have sent electronic toy.

                    7) Now because of this mistake our 2 boxes are not clearing We told them to talk in All Poland but Mumbai DHL executive Ms Swarada Ghone Clearance Support Agent. is not ready for that and she sends us a notice that you will have extra charge for this if we are not appoint CHA .

                    8) They threatens me that if we are late, we will be charged more for this, else shipment will abandon in customs. if we not appoint our own CHA to clear in cargo.

                    9) Now what should we do in such a situation, Poland DHL also not responding to us proper, If such a well-known company (DHL )does such a thing to a customer, it will happen to the common man who has no knowledge of customs clearances.

                      I have asked my friend to courier my used laptop from Netherlands to India because I couldn't travel back to Netherlands due to this crisis. While sending the package the entire documentation was done by the DHL representative and he declared the value of an used laptop as 600 euros.

                      My friend was not told about the huge sum which would be charged in the name of customs duty.
                      On Wednesday a clearance support agent contacted me and asked me to update the address even he didn't inform me about the customs duty.

                      On Friday night I received a mail stating that I had to pay 48000/- . First I contacted the customer care and they asked me to mail to customer care which was of no use. They keep asking me to pay 48000/- for an used laptop just because it was declared by the representative as 600 euros.

                      Being a student I can't afford the money right now and it was not completely my fault either. it's the duty of the representatives of DHL to provide all necessary information to their customers. I am even ready to prove that it's an used laptop but they are not ready to listen. I am aware about the customs charges but asking me to pay an insane amount is definitely disappointing.

                        Awb no [protected] .dhl wash there hands to get the packet clear from customs . if they do not have such experience why they too parcel at first place . i am ready to pay nominal Customs hire agent ( cha ) and what ever custom duty on my packet . but still dhl is not helping out .

                          This is with regards to a gift that I have received from a friend from Singapore .

                          I was not expecting the gift and had no idea of the same. Started receiving messages from DHL to complete KYC. SInce I was not aware of the background, thought this to be one of the marketing gimmicks. After checking around, realized that one friend from S'pore had sent the gift and thereby submitted the KYC docs online. Whatever docs submitted...

                          My brother in law send a laptop (worth 20000 INR, 4.5kg) from Australia to India he already pay 10000 INR for transportation charge but dhl say to pay another 20330 INR for custom clearance .. actually while my brother in law send package they said customs clearance is not too much than transportation charge .. airlines ticket charge is only 65000INR from Australia to india ...they are get too much of money for just delivery a 4.5kg laptop

                            Hello There,

                            I work for an MNC and I got a gift card from my business owner. Because that could be only used on their country sites so I made them send some toys for my new born baby. Those were some around cost of 10k in rupees which included the insurance with delivery charge. Now my complaint is : Because these are non-customable things but still I got a call and was told by DHL representative that I need to pay 8.5k as a custom duty charge to make my parcel cleared and delivered to me.
                            I asked because its just a pack of my individual use and should not the custom charges applied on it because whenever I used different mailing service then I had not faced such a bad experience. Because these toys has some feelings attached so i am raising this issue as a complaint to you for why i need to pay more because it's already been insured and should have been delivered to me as I had paid the delivery charges. I am completely dissatisfied with the service and kindly let me know that how can i get my parcel delivered to me because I was told by their rep - its upto you that you can forget your parcel or pay 8.5k. I will never ever use these DHL services for any of my future use.
                            Another interesting thing that when I requested to send me the document - the one i received that had 7.5k as custom duty. I believe that DHL is making their customer fool and not willing to deliver the product. I am not sure if they want to sell it somewhere else or what. Please help.

                              Kindly note that from 5 days we are continoues follow up for the parcel for the subject shipment ...After 5 days they inform me it should be cleared in cargo document ..So we submitted transfer document as the mail received from the BOM.csa mail id..After that from your customer care are teaching me the clearance to take the time and not taking the responsibility of my parcel ...The name Mr.Mahesh nareker / ANIL DEMALLO/Priyanka patil told me to do clearance yourself ...AND ALSO GIVEN THE RUDE REPLY ...

                              This is the way there are treating the customer and giving the answer which is nonsense...

                              We need our parcel anyhow which is very urgent...

                                Its been three months and I did not get my parcel.
                                Cost of the shipment was 15, 000 India Rs and we had submitted all the bills.
                                All the items are for personal use still 21, 000 duty was charged which is unfair.
                                I had asked DHL about the detailed report explaining how such huge amount of discount is charged.
                                But I did not get any email regarding that.
                                The Customer executive Ruchita BOM13 who had called me has very rude behaviour.
                                She starts screaming and yelling at me when I ask her anything politely.
                                Its been three months and I did not get my parcel nor I got the message why incorrect duty is charged.
                                If my query is not solved the I will have to take legal help.
                                I will also show the recorded voice message which shows rude behaviour of DHL customer care.

                                  KYC requires mobile number to be off DND list

                                  DHL is holding my package and their KYC website requires the mobile number to be taken off DND list to make an account and upload KYC docs.

                                  This is ridiculous.Every other website sends me an OTP when I am on the DND list, why can't they?

                                  There is no other way to create an account and their support people tell me to "use someone else's number" which is fraud....

                                  Recently I shipped a parcel using a retail outlet of DHL Express in Mumbai. This concern should be taken up by DHL express for all their outlets so I don't think it's needed to specify the center.

                                  In these times of Covid-19 we all are required to maintain social distancing and when it comes to shops and offices the concerned official or shopkeeper is expected to moderate the situation and ensure safe social distancing in their office.

                                  At this DHL Express center which itself was hardly 10x10 feet, at the counter the official allowed all in queue outside people to enter inside while I was not yet done and at a time they allowed 5 people in a small place. See the photo, you can see 3 people plus I am the fourth and there was one behind me.
                                  So 5 people were standing in a crammed place.
                                  DHL must ensure that they strictly follow the covid-19 guidelines of temperature check, social distancing and only one person at the counter at a time, no matter what.
