मेरा नाम शुभम गुरुचल हैं में dish tv की service का उपभोक्ता हूँ। जिसका connection ज्ञानेश्वर गुरुचल के नाम से है। VLC NO [protected] हैं। हमारा dish setup box पिछले चार दिनों से बंद हैं जो कि life time warranty में हैं हमने इसकी complaint (complaint no[protected]/09/2019 को dish tv customer care में दर्ज करवाई थी। जिसमे हमे बताया गया था आपकी समस्या 24 घण्टो के अंतर्गत सुलझाई जाएगी। 22/09/2019 को 3:18 दोपहर को complaint दर्ज की गई थी । जिसके बाद 22/09/2019 को 3:42 दोपहर service team से call आया जिसपे हमे बताया गया कि आपको technician का call आएगा । उसके बाद दूसरे दिन सुबह 23/09/2019 को फिर customer care पर शिकायत दर्ज की गई जिसमें हमे शाम तक का समय बतया गया resolution के लिये। पर कोई action नही लिया गया। उसी दिन शाम 7 बजे फिर शिकायत दर्ज की गई उस समय भी यही कहा गया कि आपकी समस्या जल्द सुलझाई जाएगी। आज चार दिन पूरे हो चुके है आज भी ओर 3 दिन का बोला गया है यह कह कर की dish box available नही हैं। technician का अभी तक कोई call नही आया हैं। आपसे विनम्र निवेदन है कि हमारी समस्या का जल्द से जल्द समाधान करवाया जाय।

    Date of incident :-25/9/19 time :-09.40

    I had taken connection of dish tv for year... I faced many problems of bad weather condition error 301... Weather was absolutely fine here... All other companies working perfectly but dish tv was not working

    So i decided to disconnect my connection...

    After a year.. I decided to reactivate my connection so i called up dish tv for packs... They said by recharging 219/-, you will get validity for 1 month with sufficient channel... I asked the executive that i am seeing error 301 already before activating also...

    He said after recharging problem will get solve or call again we will help you..

    Problem persisted and i called again... They are now saying they need to send executive to check antena... And it will be charged as 200 rs...

    Why should i pay rs200 now... They should have informed me earlier that it is going to happen...

    I then told me to refund my set top box deposit and amount paid 219

    Vc no:-[protected]

    They are now like both are non refundadble...

    Is this the scheme to lure customers...

    I want full refund my settop box deposit and amount paid 219... I dont want your services..

        402 viewing card error, raise complaint at customer care technician attended actual charges 450 include gst, as per customer care told me, for swipe set top box. And he is monopoly me to if want repair have to pay 200 extra than actual charges. I. E 650, i denied him and send back. Again contacted customer care problem is not solved from last 5 days and my recharge also wasting days.

          My tv screen is displaying "102 no account balance". I have switched on and switch off the receiver so many times as per the customer care instructions. Customer care is instructing to change the channel to 96. But from this screen i am not able to change my channels.

          My account is already recharged with full year amount till september 2020

          The current switch off date is 06/10/2019?

              My programming i have had all of a sudden i dont have now!! My bill is automatically paid so thats not the problem, cant logon to dish online. Called and after waiting 40 minutes they finally answered then disconnected me! This is not the first time this exact problem has happened, its always a problem getting any customer service, biggest mistake i made was changing from direct tv to dish

                I am dish tv customer since 10 year and now i have problem regarding set top box so i complained customer care number 18 september 2019.

                But problem was same till date. No body response properly.
                I was called many times around 20 time to customer care every time they answer me that wait 1 hour or two hour but any technical staf not visit.
                Then i called a number that provide by your customer support team but he was misbehaving and after that not answering my call so i request you please take a necessary action on your side against your service team or technical team. And inform me what your next step.

                  We made payment of 3 months to dish tv but since last 20 days i had to contact dish tv customer care to ask them why we were getting 101 error - ie. Channels not subscribed. I called them 4-5 times and every time they said it’s technical issue. They do not even transfer the calls to seniors to escalate the matter. And if the call is transferred to a second level customer care employee, they cut the call within minutes without understanding the problem of the customer.
                  I feel cheated that even after making advance payments and being associated with dish tv from the year 2011, such instances happen. It was a mental torture that i had to hold the call for 40 long minutes to talk to the second level officer. This is totally unacceptable.
                  I want strict action should be taken against the company that for a technical issue the customer is made to feel cheated - an accusation without checking. Why can’t they simply write that there’s some technical snag and after checking the financial details resume the connection.

                    This is regarding my dishtv account ending with 8483. The pain that dishtv has been putting me thru in the last 4 days has been just unbelievable. I had recharged my account well before the switch off date and it’s been more than 3 days now that dishtv has been saying that they have not received the money and that they are investigating it wit their accounts team. Inspite of repeated follow ups with dishtv they keep asking me the same complaint details and keep providing the same update since last 4 days. Worse, they tell me how they are sending email to their account department - come on now, as a customer why should i care if you follow up with your accounts or hr department. And why should i be worried about if these inter department communication is not happening. Totally frustrated with dishtv especially in times when customer service is been taken to a greater level by other companies.

Dish tv mujhe dhoka de raha hai inke offers hote kuch hai lekin nikate kuch or hai. Apke dish tv packages m sabse bada pack titanium hd ka hai lekin usme bhi apke pure chanel's nai hai. Really kahu to abhi tak ka sabse bakwas company lagi. Apki jankari k liye bata du k maine tri k rule read kiye usme koi aisa rule nai hai k jo ki apni pasand k channel nai mil sake

                          My dishtv set top box is giving problem since last week of august, 2019. When i contacted dishtv, they told that their technician will visit to resolve the problem and the charges for the same would be rs 200+gst. When i refused to pay the visit charges, they agreed to arrange technician visit free of cost (Foc) but told the if the set top box needed to be replaced, i would have to pay for that. But i didn't accept their officer and denied to pay set top box charges as well. Then they said both the above services (Visit+replacement of stb) are foc. Then their first technician came and according to him stb needs to be changed and he asked for money and went back. Next time another technician came and according to him my stb was ok but adapter needs to be replaced and demanded rs 330/- for the adapter. Actually as a general practice at dishtv, they force the customer to cough up some money by any means. I don't understand that why should i pay for the repair of their equipment for which i pay monthly rental in the form of recharge.

                          I have decided not to take the services of dishtv and looking forward to launch jio service.

                                I, shiva prasad. M the customer of dish tv (Digital tv network). I am facing the problem of service form the dish tv service provider.
                                I gave a complaint in april regarding technical issue of my setup box. They didn't resolve my problem what the assured me to clear it in 24 hrs. Many times of giving complaints their technician visited my home in the month of may an concluded the problem was my setup box and it needed to replace. I paid the money to him for service & for the setup box. After that he didn't attempt my phone call. Again i call to customer care and i explained to them what happen. They assured me it will clear. But till its not cleared and now they are saying the complaint was closed.

                                And the second issue is now going..

                                I gave the same complaint i. E., changing of setup box on[protected]. They replied your problem will clear within 24 hrs. Next day[protected] sunday) their technician call to me and will come in 2 hrs. So total day i waited for him and tried to contact him. But his mobile number won't reachable. Today is the 4th day, but till my problem was not cleared. If call to dish tv customer care they giving same answer it will clear within 24 hrs we'ill follow up.

                                These all nonsense made me mentally disturbed. From last six months all of my family suffered with their negligence. By this effect i am mentally suffering i wont put my efforts in my job also.. And i lost my peace in home also.
                                So kindly support me and take necessary action on dish tv network.

                                I am requesting trai also please make favor to me.

                                Here so many people facing same problem so please take action and support our middle class people because we don't know whom to approach and too poor to file a case against like this worst service providers.

                                Again the service persons cheated me..They fix another model instead of my previous model and said adapter not suitable for this have to purchase new one and need to pay Rs. 320/-.

                                Yesterday they called me three times we are coming to chabe the box but they not came. All over day I am waited for them without going out and postponed all of my works for them but they not came..

                                Dear Sir/ Madam, This complaint continuing for the previous Grievance Number: 1611769 - Reg. Yesterday Dish TV technician visited my home and fixed the Set top box depends on the previous complaints. On that I am not at my residence, he came fixed it and went away. Evening I went home and checked the box. Then I found he may be fixed fault set top box. He fix secondary box (like it may be used for multi/secondary connection). In previous box it has record option also. But they replaced cheep quality box its without having record option and even Chip (smart card) also not having. Once again they cheated me. In previous one of their technician escaped with money (Service charges and Set top box cost) without resolving the issue they closed my complaint. Now same problem I am facing. Now the charged for set top box and service charges but fixed fault set top box. In this issue without resolve my problem how can u close my request sir? Today I login in your web site for knowing my complaint status, I found it was closed. By depends on one side hearing (Dish TV side) how can u close my issue sir? Without my conformation, without contacting me how U can you concluded it as resolved? Please be transparent sir. After hearing both sides only take necessary action. And before closing the request/complaint please inform to both. I already mentioned my contact number. Ref: from your last Grievance Number: 1611769 As per our conversation with the subscriber Mr. Shiva Prasad M on [protected], it has been communicated that STB issue has been resolved post swapping the existing STB with other modal STB. New VC number is [protected]. Moreover, communicated that no need to pay the technician for adaptor charges. Same has been confirmed with the service team that adaptor charges will not be applicable if STB swapped with other modal STB. For the final confirmation we tried contacting subscriber on [protected] & [protected], however numbers were not contactable. Case stand closed.But I already informed to them there is no alternate number, they can contact only to me (+91-[protected]) My conclusion: On that time, when they call to m, I am in Driving. So I am not able to pickup the call. In next couple of minutes I call back to them. But their contact No’s (+91-[protected]) not reachable. I called to technician (Ph: (+91-[protected]) who visited my home, he said he was not responsible with that and to contact his superior (Venkatesh: +91-[protected]), gave his contact number. But he was not responded properly (I think he was on bike). Quickly I call to Dish TV customer care explained all the issue and gave new complaint (Ref: service request No:[protected] but till I didn’t get any call r response from them. From last one week I am facing problem with the service persons. I never saw this much of worst service provider. Because of them I am loosing my mental ability. So please make favor to me. No one had supporting me even from your side also. For their safe zone they changed my VC No. [protected](P) to new VC [protected]and mentioned all queries was resolved. But still I am facing problem from them. If I contact their Customer Care they said no complaint were registered. By the above discussion please look in to my query and resolve my problem as soon as possible. And take necessary action against the cheating of Dish TV service provider by the cunning mind with changing VC and closing the complaints and also they make you also in wrong track by their fraud things. Now I just want to replace my set top box with recording option and upto date update model (DishNXT HD:: Model No. D-7000HD) Thanking you..

                                  The problem started some 20 days back when some of the channels were not coming on my television and only one small grey spot shown on left side up corner on my television although the dishtv sign on right side down corner is very much clear. This happens for some of channels and other channels were coming normally. When I called customer care they did some troubleshooting and thanks to him all channels went blank. He said that the antenna is faulty you have to change it. But on my complaint he booked a technician visit next day who did nothing but realignment of antennae and the problem was resolved for the moment.

                                  It went well for 3-4 days but the problem reoccured. Now the setup box show channels for sometime (say 5 minutes, 15 minutes sometime even 2 hrs) and then it goes blank, same grey spot and now for all channels. When we restart the system it again start normally but after sometime it goes blank again. This time technician came and told that there is problem in adaptor, he changed adaptor but the problem remained. Then he removed hdmi cable and sold us a video cable saying that the problem was with hdmi cable. The then it solved the problem temporarily but the problem occur again after 2 hrs.

                                  Again another technician came and he told that there is no problem with hdmi cable and he replaced the hdmi cable. Then he tried another setup box but the problem was not resolved. He told us that there is fault in my television. You first get your tv repaired then we will see the problem. We went to service centre, and there engineers kept our tv under observation for a day and diagnosed that there is no problem with our tv.

                                  This time when technician came he told us that there is no fault with our tv but unless he himself see the problem, he can't suggest anything. He also told us that he will change the setup box the next day as he doesn't have spare setup box. Surprisingly the dish tv went well without any trouble for 2 days although the technician did nothing but after that problem reoccur.

                                  Now the setup box refused to show anything although it shows booting but then it went blank and again show booting. Now the technician without coming without diagnosing the problem tell us over phone that he will change the setup box and it will be chargeable. When we told that first the problem should be resolved then only we will pay anything, he refused to come and now the technician is not picking up the phone.

                                  I am being harassed by your complaint management system, your incompetent technicians and your customer complaint personals. I want that the problem first should be diagnosed properly, remedy should be suggested the sytem should be kept under observation and then the complaint should be closed. In previous occasions also the complaint was clsoed without our feedback, this is so unprofessional from a company like dishtv.

                                  For the past 20 days we are not able to see any channels but are being charged for each day. Look into this matter as most urgent otherwise I have to change the operator.

                                  Sorry for writing this late. First of all a big thanks to this forum because of which my voice was heard. I got a call from Dish TV within a day after I posted the complaint on this forum mentioning about this complaint and the problem is resolved within two days by simply changing the setup box with a new improved setup box (without VC card). I waited for this long to see that the problem should not reoccur, but now I think the problem is resolved. Thank you Consumer Complaints forum.

                                        Hi,

                                        I have been getting non stop calls from dish tv from different numbers for vc number on my registered mobile number with them. Many times i have asked them to stop calling me but they don't. This is mental harassment. I can't even block the numbers coz they call from different numbers everytime.

                                        kindly make them stop calling on my number.
