Since the day of purchase, i have been facing a plethora of issues as listed below-

1. The auto ignition failed right after purchase and since then relying on on lighter.

2. The flame of the burners is so low that it takes more than normal hours to cook food

3. 3 days back just before my complaint, the hobb ignited with a boom and it burnt the hair and face of my maid and she is claiming compensation for the same.

4. The only task i am left with after purchasing your product is to keep submitting complaints. You can check the number of times i have filed complaints

5. Every time a technician comes, he repairs the hob temporarily and after sometime the situation is back to square one.

Since the month of purchase i have been complaining about the manufacturing default in the hobb, but no one has entertained my request of replacement of the product, neither the dealer nor the elica customer service executives.

No other product from any other brand has caused me so much trouble which elica had, till date to my family.

I had also purchased an elica chimney along with the hobb which is working fine.

    I purchased the subject glass top stove from elica through the e commerce hub, amazon in september 2019 (6 months back). The item was working fine and was a fancy item in my sister's house as it was bought for her.
    The look, its auto ignition working, all was a cheerful thing for her in the new house, until yesterday 16th apr'2020, when the glass surface blasted out.
    The daily cooking task was completed by afternoon and my sister was in the hall when she heard a blasting noise coming out from the kitchen.
    Startled with that noise, she rushed to the kitchen to see and it was the gas stove which was the culprit.
    Fortunately, no one was in the kitchen when it burst and the gas too was not switched on, which could have made things worse.
    At this period of lock down, getting essentials and cooking itself is an himalayan task and now to top it, the gas stove is unusable.
    No customer service is available now to answer the calls.
    Through this forum, i hope someone looks in to this and have an answer for us.
    The item needs to be replaced at the earliest, as am not ready to let it go. The item was an expensive one and it was with so much hope that we went in to buy elica product keeping the other brands at bay.
    It is high time the company revisit the manufacturing section to check if everything is working fine as am sure am not the lone complainant giving one of the this nature.
    If not the repercussions are going to be very ugly, and i assure that i will go on preaching to the public to never ever buy any elica products, especially their stoves.

      brand new chimney stopped working all of a sudden.

      I've bought elica's wdfl hac touch 90 ms chimney on (24.02.2020) from flipkart and it got installed on (28.02.2020). It was working fine but all of a sudden it came to a complete stop today (04.03.2020). I didn't know what was the issue. But, i tried to run auto clean for and after 9min it started working again.

      I need to know if this is a problem or is it supposed to stop working like that when it requires auto clean? I didn't...

      burner not working

      We have been gifted this elica 4 stove burner... For first few days all d burners worked properly.. Now 2 burners don work at all... Several attempts have been made to contact the service team but all in vain.. Pls help.
      We have tried to sent sms for seevice to the number [protected] as mentioned in a sticker on top of the burner but still no response have been recieved....

      I had purchased the elica hob in mar 2018 - i starting using the same in jul/aug 18. This is not the first time that we are using the hob with glass... And enough care was taken in handling hob. Still the glass was shattered and thrown over the place when my wife as preparing the breakfast. Though there was no physical injury, there was a loud noise when the glass was shattered and thrown around.

      Post contacting the contact center we were informed that this kind of instances takes place around one in 3000/4000 cases. Which means the company is aware of the same and it does happen.in that case why the customer should be charged where there is a known flaw in the product. On top of the same they have charged us for replacing the glass and also service fee towards the technicians visit.

      Is it that knowingly the company has kept a flaw to make money through servicing the same.

        elica kitchen chimney

        Dear Elica
        The PCB of my kitchen chimney was damaged and we contacted customer care. The technician arrived one week later and charged for his visit and told us that PCB is damaged and added that we would get a call from the Company when PCB will be replaced. No response from the Company till we reminded. The customer care told us that some body will attend us with spare parts shortly. We are still awaiting and more than 2 weeks have...

        Hi elica team

        I had bought new elica chimney for 9000 rs 1.7 years back, suddenly last week chimney stopped functioning. No response when i switch on. Raised complaint with ellica service center, technician arrived and he checked the chimney. He is sayjng the pcb circuit board has to be changed and it wil charged 5000 rs, how come with in 2 years pcb stopped working.

        I just want the pcb to be repaired, no need of replacing the pcb board.

          Life time warranty of my chimney was given but now switches and push buttons are not working. A service mechanic of your company has taken 350 ruppee as service charge and promised to get all the parts which are required to repair the machine but he didn't respond since then.. I m facing a lot of problems due to chimney failure as it's push buttons and switches are not working.

            One my gas burner wasn't working so i registered a complaint through customer care. The service guy came and said the big burner got damaged and needed to be replaced, he said the charge of the burner will be 4200 and servicing charge would be 2100. When i called to check with the elica customer care they said the servicing charges would be 1003 including gst. Now the service guy is not accepting this and asking for 1800. Also the customer care was unable to provide the burner charges and asked me to contact service guy. This is unprofessional and i dont know whom to trust as the service guy seems asking for a higher price and he is not bothered about the complaint. Also the customer care representative are rude and hang up without providing enough information. I had to call 6 times to book a single complaint as they say the technician will visit but they dont registered the complaint. I hope elice understand that they are selling product which can be threat to life if malfunctioning and they must attend every grevience with priority. Also ensure the information/ charges are transparent as the service guy is asking whatever he wants and not responding if questioned. I never thought the services are so poor for a reputed and expensive brand.

            Also by 'Not working' I mean high flames were coming from the big burner and as per the technician only the small top part got damaged but he said the whole burner needed to be changed as the small top part isn't available as spare. I dont know why I have to buy the whole burner if only a small part can be replaced.

              I am waiting for installation of my elica chimney which i had newly brought from amazon service since two months. I placed the request but elica service didn't paying any attention they are very irresponsible in my issue. As i agreed for their terms and conditions, i didn't get any response from them. I didn't have any objection to pay instillation charge which they had demanded rs.590/-.

                I purchased a glass top hob from elica a year back and it was working fine for that period of time and suddenly yesterday the glass top on its own blasted and the bits of glass were splattered all over the kitchen while my mother was cooking and was injured i complained elica customer care service despite of me showing clear evidence that noone can shatter the glass like this by his own mistake they blamed us that this is toughen glass and you must have broken it and not admitting there own mistake telling me that despite our faulty product you are the one who has to bear charges for the damaged product even after causing a life threatening incident as any of the glass peice could have gone in her or produced cuts in various more deadly places i have full recording of their staff misbehaving and treating us badly i would never recommend ANYONE TO BUY ELICA PRODUCTS AS THEY DONT TO RIGOUROUS QUALITY TESTING and manufacture products which may cause you your life.

                  Gas leakage through the nobs. Product is in warranty and purchase 3 months back. Compliant was registered on 11 dec 2019 with crm id 99_1220106 but no action is taken so far to fix the issue.
                  Dont they understand the seriousness of gas leakage? Shalini and manager sriram from rammurthy bangalore branch had shown the worst cx service.

                  Gas leakage is a life threat issue and handling it so lightly shows how elica takes care of their cx. A serious action must be taken against the ppl handling my case and cancel theie license.

                    Issue:
                    I have bought elica chimney 3 months back and we are using it since mid october, during this period we have noticed
                    1. Noise is more than expected.
                    2. The chimney surrounding areas i. E., wall area, cupboards, even the chimney external surface turned out to be completely oily after our usage which is not expected.
                    3. For the very first time after 2 months o[censored]sage we have initiated auto clean function but after the auto clean activity got completed, there is not even single drop of oil collected in the oil collector jar, or surface of filter anywhere.
                    4. An we have tested the sucking pressure of the chimney and even on number 3, the sucking capacity is very minimal.
                    Expected resolution:
                    Please replace the faulty unit with new chimney asap.
                    Have raised an issue with elica customer care: 99_1225139.

                      wrong product delivered by flipkart, dhara enterprises and elica.

However, its suction area was too small and therefore, i placed a request for return of the product and the same was returned on 3rd nov, 2019. However, they never returned my money. Instead, out of their own wish (Flipkart), they forcefully delivered a chimney to my home...

                      Inspite of my repeated complaints and twice changing of new nozzles, the flames are not proper and yellow on the tips causing our utensils getting black from the bottom and sides. We have paid 750/- for the 5 new nozzles. Also we paid for the big burner ring rs.1656/- but instead of it getting solved its blackening more of our utensils. We regret choosing elica brand products and will never recommend any one to buy elica products.

                      The product was purchased in September 2018. However started using the product for the last 3 months. The product is not working properly and water keep to over flow from the base area. Utensils are nor being cleaned. Previously also complaint but no satisfactory response.

                        When i lodged a complaint to the nearest service center, i wasn't informed that there will be a visit charge.
                        Service engineer came for atmost 10 mins and charged us rs. 250 as a visit charge.
                        I have called service consultants before but never before they have charged me with any fee whatsoever, a fee was paid if any repair was done by the consultant.

                          I have purchased a built in microwave from elica. Due to some reason the machine stopped working. I filed a complain with the company on 20th september 2019 to repair the micro wave and get it to the working condition. Since then my machine still doesnt work. Inspite of calling them every single day. The company has not addressed to this problem. Its been one and half month since i filed this complain. I want a refund and want the company to take the faulty machine back. Would never recommend anyone to buy this company product due to horrible after sale service.

                            2 days back i called elica customer care. I wanted to have my kitchen chimney cleaned. They immediately asked me to make a payment for amc, which comes to inr 2950.00.
                            After 2 days a technician came to visit the chimney. He didn't do anything and left telling that he need this big vessel, this much hot water which i was not having. On asking if i can give him geyser hot water in a bucket, he refused citing that the chimney is too oily to be cleaned for that.
                            So he left without doing any work on the chimney.
                            I immediately called the elica customer care, and these people put, y call on hold for 40 mins to tell me that a new technician will visit.
                            For such simple things, i have to take leave from my office and change my schedule.
                            I now request elica to gently refund all my money inr 2950.00 asap. I don't want any service from you.

                              Myself arvind bamb from aurangabad, maharashtra.

                              I have chimney and it's bulb/lamp was not working. After lots of follow up rupali madam from service center pune has promised to arrange two (02) bulbs.
                              Today i have received two (02) bulbs of wipro company having mrp 25/- each and rupali madam from service center has asked me to pay rs 63/- per bulb. I have asked invoice copy but rupali madam from service center has denied to give invoice and forced me to pay rs 120/- for two (02) bulbs.

                              I have paid rs 120/- against receipt of two (02) bulbs. If we calculate according to mrp it is rs 50/- only

                              Who is responsible for this huge difference?

                              I am requesting to refund difference amount and provide me invoice for whatever i have purchased.

                                This elica is the biggest fraud company, who wants to scam people into paying money. Pralhad bhutada is the biggest conman i've seen. Their dealers sell you their cooktops in the name of 2 year comprehensive warranty and lifetime burner warranty. But after buying, bhutada will charge you for installation. Now within a year the cooktop's brass burners have gone bad. The flame in coming from underside of the burner. And sometime it just burns with a huge pop like sound as it the burner will explode. So i complained about it now pralhad bhutada's gang wants me to pay visiting charges during comprehensive warranty. So mr. Pralhad bhutada i want to ask you are you into the business of selling kitchen appliances or into robbing people who buy into your con company's pathetic products. I paid rs. 8000 for this elica patio ict 469 blk ai s cooktop it barely lasted for 1 year. And you want to extract more money from me. I will not leave you so easily, i will go to consumer court for this. You cannot get away with out hard earned money so easily. We do not earn money do you and your family can enjoy luxury on our misery.

                                My kitchen chimney was delivered on 1st october. It was promised that it will be installed within 48 hrs of delivery. But today its 6th of october and till now, no one has come for installation. Such a bad experience. I am tired of calling the customer care for so many times. Its really a worst service experience.
