Dear Concerned Eureka Forbes authority,
I've been using eureka forbes water purifier appliances for more than a decade now, so you would perhaps not be surprised when I write about the kind of pathetic service provided by your service wing. I had bought a Eureka Forbes crystal model back in 2007. Talking about the numerous occasions on which the appliance completely stalled and the time taken by your service providers to fix the machine ( if at all it was fixed) would bear no fruit to alleviate my current predicaments, so I would like to tell you about my present grievance.
On 1 Jan 2013 I had signed up for a service agreement for 3 years from 2 Jan 2013 to 1 Jan 2016. The receipt number for the same is 21680849 and the contract was made by a certain, Satish Gawde, a Eureka Forbes Employee operating in the Kandiwali(E), Lokhandwala Complex region (or so he says).
Last week on 9th April 2014, my machine completely stopped working for which I lodged a complaint ( Complaint Number:[protected]. After getting the assurance that the matter will be fixed in 2 days, I had to call up the person who made the contract (Satish Gawde) on the 3rd day after no response at all.
He further delegated the issue and asked us to contact a certain Manoj (another Eureka Forbes worker ) who further assured that the matter would be resolved in the next 2 days. After patiently drinking tap water for the next 3 days, and no action whatsoever, I called back Manoj only to hear incessant ringing of the phone, but no one picking up the cell phone.
Its been 7 days now, since the appliance has completely stalled, and during which time we are managing with tap water/boiled water, still (foolishly) pinning our hopes, that someone from Eureka Forbes might revert back and resolve the issue ASAP.
Besides this, since the time the contract was signed last year on January, there hasn't been a single occasion on which someone from Eureka Forbes has bothered to visit us for the routine services ( like filter cleaning/replacing) that the contract entitles them to do.
I request you to not enter into contracts with your customers, if you do not have the sufficient resources to follow through the commitments, that is required as per the contract. Please help maintain, if not improve Eureka Forbes already tarnished and degraded image, as far as its customer servicing division is concerned.
I'd like to urge you to look into the matter and take appropriate action in a time bound manner, but that would be rhetorical, given my personal experience, wouldn't it ?
