water purifier - improper connection - potential health hazard

I am using the eureka forbes reverse osmosis water purifier since several years and had renewed the annual maintenance contract on 11.08.2020 by making a cheque payment of rs 9400/- (Cheque number being 148543 dated 11.08.2020) of punjab national bank to technician mr tiwari.

    unfair charges

    I want to know what kind of service eureka forbes provides? Do you people care for customers or for yourself? If i wish to buy amc contract then why should i be paying for visiting charges also? Is this fair to the customer? Imposing us the rule that expired amc will hve to pay 500₹ visiting, but why should i be paying 500₹ visiting when im buying amc contract? I will never suggest anyone on this to buy eureka forbes products bcos they...

    I had purchased water purifier revivia nxt from:

    Exide power zone (Tt agencies)
    Srk building, 297, sathy rd, amman koil, poompogar nagar, saravanampatti, coimbatore, tamil nadu 641035

    They hadn't updated the warranty with eureka, when i call the customer service they don't see a product registered with my phone number.

    I called your customer service they said they can't help without a customer number and the agency mentioned in the above address don't care and talk rude.

    Regretted so much for doing business with a company with poor customer service center and and have no command over their rude agency.

    Never will do business with eureka forbes again!

      I have purchased aquaguard enhance model water purifier and also purchased amc (Annual maintenance contract). When i complained to them by calling to their customer care they promised to send an executive to check it. I had raised the complaint on 11-sep and even after 11 days they haven't attended to it. Quality of the water is poor.

        Too much expensive dr. Classic plus unit. Every three months have to expense about rs. 2500 for replacement of filters. This is very bad feature. Ask your company to remove this limit of purifying. Then i will renew the contract otherwise. Ask your company to take away this unit free of cost...

          I have an amc with eureka forbes for my ro water purifier. I have called them at least 10 times in a time span of 2 weeks for the servicing of my water purifier. Every time they say that an engineer will contact me within 48 hrs. When the engineer doesn't contact me i call them again. This time they tell me that they have escalated my issue and it will be taken on priority. But it seems they don't understand the meaning of "priority" because i have been stuck in this loop for 2 weeks and my amc is also about to end in 20 days.

            My product is under AMC wranty. The last time they have done service in 2019. After that they are not coming for doing servicing. I raised several requests thru app and customer care but no use. The water is coming bad smell and also water leakage. I have two kids ar home, they are getting several infections frequently. Due to COVID 19 pandemic, we are facing more strougels to visit hospitals. I have done payment for 2 years. But they not doing any service.

            Please take serious action. If required please file a case in the court.

              Unfortunately, i am using eureka forbes aqua guard enhanced ro + ub. On 11 september technician from the third part vendor hired by your company, came to my home for service. He is not able to do proper servicing he don’t know the reason. He told me and also give me assurance that he will come again tomorrow and he also told me to sign the documents that service is done and i signed the documents.

              On next day nobody comes and after that i complained to the customer care complaint number: [protected], then after that on 13th september the technician comes again with another technician. Then on the same day, i got to know that the tds adjuster is faulty and technician don’t have the part and he will come tomorrow to change this also. I agreed on this and on 14th the technician comes and again he repaired the machine. On 14th he was in hurry and asking for the otp code for service satisfaction which i not gave to him. After 2 hours when i drunk the water then came to know that the water taste is not good. Then again on the next day. The technician came without calling me and he was in hurry and told me he can’t wait for 10 minutes. He checked the tds, which is 75 and told me that previously you were drinking water with 20-25 tds and not the water taste can’t be changed.

              Again i complained to customer service on 17th and customer care told me that the issue will be resolved asap. Again yesterday i received a call from someone who given me assurance that the issue will be resolved asap, however till date the issue still not resolved.

              I took amc for two year on 14/03/20, registered mobile number is [protected]. Below are some of my observation and i also request you to reply on the same.

              1) i chose your company water filter for drinking water. When the company is not caring about his customer from last 9 days. I am drinking the unhealthy water along with the bad taste. Then why eureka forbes aqua guard?
              2) my family members started facing the problem of cough and cold due to the bad taste and unhealthy water. Due to this medication also started and doctor visit also started. Who is responsible for this?
              3) this time, i got to know that water tds should be 80 – 150, after calling your customer service. And the technician told me that you were drinking water with 20-30 tds, even one told me that 20 tds water is good. Please let me know the correct tds of water and how it will be adjusted in my aqua guard machine?
              4) your technicians always came to my home without informing me. Is there any protocol technicians, following to visit the customers home?
              5) since 9 days i am facing the drinking water issue, which is a basic necessity, and also paid handsome amount for the amc for two years. Should i keep my mind set ready that i will face these type of issues for the coming period?
              6) during corona timings two representative visit my home at the same time. Is it safe for me and my family?
              7) normally service done for these things within 2-3 hours. It took 9 days and still issue not resolved. Can you please provide me an eta for the resolution?
              8) till date technicians hired from third party vendors came to my home, are you guys doing any timely visits and audits to the third parties and taking any feedbacks from customers on services done by third party by asking questions related to tds taste and other things?
              9) once your technician taste the water and told me that 25 tds water has good taste and its good for health, please confirm this statement is correct?
              10) if still this issue not resolved then where i need to escalate the issue?

              Still Not get any resolution after doing continuous follow-up, I don't know but they people are not concerned about their customer. And no body answers a single question till date. They are making fool of their customers.
              Till Date no support provided by the company. I haven't got a single answer also.

                  Previous amc ended may 2020, in which 6-monthly service due in april 2020 was not done. With repeated phone calls from them, i was made to renew amc for another year. However there is no positive response to my complaints [protected] dated 7 july and [protected] dated 15 sep 2020, except for an automated message quoting covid restrictions. Like many other reputed agencies, eureka forbes should intimate all their customers as to how they will look after maintenance under the prolonged covid conditions. As clean drinking water is an essential need of families, filter maintenance should not be unduely delayed, and should be carried out on priority.

                      Brand new aquaguard geneus ro plus uv filter bought from bajaj electronics kothaguda, hyderabad in jan 2020 developed sensor problem within 2 months of buying then giving water with white jelly suspensions since july. Company refuses to replace unit despite several complaints. Repair not possible as cause not known. Demand immediate replacement or compensation. Wasted lot of money buying bottled water. Aquaguard service very bad in hyderabad.

                        My above said water purifier comes under amc from 7.10.2019 to 7.102020 which comes under two times services. Due to lock down, it was given only once and when i asked one mr. Sasi (Ph.[protected] he says he cannot do anything and its hand of god. Since the service has to done once in 6 months and my last done service was in june, i requested him to extend the warranty. This is highly unjustice

                          Had raised a complaint about water not filling on 4th. On 5th it was replaced but was defective. Tried calling the executive, customer care no response. New service request raised. Have been calling Customer care daily, the Manager in charge, escalated the issue, mailed the CEO too., Registered a new complaint again. But in vain. After having taken AMC for 2 years, they are refusing to fix the issue. Need to be taken to court for taking money and cheating customers. The customer service branch and Hyderabad branch are hand in glow and they are playing with us that it will be fixed for the past 11 days.

                            Dear sir
                            The service call [protected] was booked on 28th aug 2020
                            After several follow up - 7 days later the call was closed and asked to open a fresh call.
                            Raise the issue an escalated service number was issued efl1481115
                            The vaccum cleaner was picked by service agent in kurtigate sarjapura bangalore on 4/9/20.
                            Service agent informed the power cable is faulty. Agreed and requested to repair asap and can pick up from the service centre if delivery is a concern
                            Several follow up made no update till date when the vacuum cleaner will be serviced and returned
                            Seek help to sort it asap

                              Hello there,

                              We purchased the aquaguard classic+ from eureka forbes on 9th december 2018 costing rs 10, 190/- and the machine has worked for a week. Now since the machine was in guarantee their representative came and rectified the issue and this process was being repeated until the next year. On 15th december 2019 we purchased an extension of annual maintenance contract amounting to rs 2140/-. Now unfortunately the pandemic hit and lockdown took place so we kept the matter on hold but the machine stopped working from 17th december 2019 till date.in between when unlock 1 happened we contacted the company and called for the service and the representatives came and tried to rectify but the results were same as before. We have been extremely annoyed by the experience we have faced. Also, when we started mailing the company regarding replacement of the machine initially they replied and sent their representatives but later they started ignoring us which was a huge disappointment.

                                  I am from hyderabad, my aquaguard genius water purifier stops working every 3 months, after every 3 months the technician needs to visit and repair it for it to work for another 3 months.

                                  The problem now is no one knows when the technician will come after giving a complaint, last time when a gave a compliant the technician came after 40 days, i waited for 4 weeks got fed up and got my water purifier repaired by a technician from urban clap by paying him 800 rupees.

                                  If we call the customer care and ask them when the technician will come they say that they cannot tell when the technician will come as that is backend team job and no one knows when the technician will come and you need to keep on waiting, it may even take weeks and months some times.

                                  They only time they come on time is only when there is some service that is going to generate them revenue like filters change. If it’s a free service then gone case they don’t care, they come when they want and there is no other option for us except waiting for weeks and months till the technician comes or get it repaired by a outside technician by paying them extra money.

                                  The other thing is when i asked the customer care representative more questions on this kind of pathetic service and they don’t have an answer they put my call on hold until i get fed up and disconnect the call.

                                    After sales service is pathetic. I had to follow up for 2 weeks to get water drain issue. They were prompt to collect the AMC money post that they will never showed up. When ever I call they will mention as short of manpower due to COVID. But to my surprise eurekforbes emp itself visited when I booked repair on Urbanclap.@livpure seems to better option. I lost 9k for annual maintaince plus repair charges on urbanclap.
