I bought a faber hob less than 1 month back. Post installation when I tried to use it, one of the burners was making a lot of noise. Plus, the knob for the same was very tight. I immediately called the place I bought the hob from and asked for a replacement which didn't happen. They asked to call faber service center. Someone came home when I was not there and am not really sure if even checked as I said I wanted a replacement. He said everything was ok and went away. I was away on vacation there after for a couple of weeks. Since the time I got back, I have been trying to call faber. They raise a complaint and say it will be attended to and no one turns up. I have taken leave a couple of days expecting them, but they do not turn up. THis is a brand new hob which is not functioning. the burner leaves black marks on my vessels. I invested 18000. I need a replacement for the hob.

    I have a Faber gas stove and I bought it four years before. From the last 15 days it's not working properly. Specially one stove is making noise while opening. I m using this appliance from the last four years but didn't face any problem but suddenly I m facing this noise problem and when I m opening the knob it's making noise and not starting smoothly.

          My Energy Saver High end Faber Chimney with low Noise, Imported from europe as they advertised, is still working fine. Except the nice looking Glass Hood is getting separated from the stainless still chimney and falling apart.
          On multiple complain, one of their Franchize called me today at Kolkata and requesting a Technical person to visit @ Rs 400 per visit to understand the issue, though I send photograph etc---but they need to see it.

            Since last six month we are trying to contact service centre of Faber, as our Faber chimney is not working due to faulty motor, In the month of May a technician from Prompt services came to our house to examine the fault but could not resolved. After his services there was a small fire also in the chimney which led to the burning of the motor, despite of frequent calls to Prompt services as well as Faber there was no action taken. It was made to understand that this Faber chimney had a life time warranty when we bought some years back. We had also paid substantial amount to get after sales service. And we also have life time warranty card with us, but all this is useless, as we have paid around Rs. 2000 for the repair job but of no use as my chimney is still not working. And all that phone call is falling on deaf ears. Faber I have understood that Faber and his authorize service centers are all fakes and cheaters. If this is not being attended I shall write a complain to the Loke Adalat.

              Faber has provided few customer care numbers : ([protected]/ [protected]/ [protected]/ [protected]). These numbers are supposedly CUSTOMER CARE NUMBERS PROVIDED IN THE FABER WEBSITES. Sadly no one responds to the call. Such a pathetic situation.
              I dont know how do i raise a request for the service of my products.
              I have been trying to reach the above mentioned numbers for last three days.

                I had enered the annual service contract with universal service provider Faber on 21st August 2016 and paid yearly subscription of Rs 3100/-. However, the work was not done satifactoriily by a mechanis named Shamsad. The burners after servicing began to give unusually strong spark. Immediately we brought to his notice. He said he would come later. We kept on calling him but after 8 days he suggested that we should contact the consumer service. We contacted on 29th August but till today no one attended the complaint.

                  Faber one of the worst service centre i have seen. We bought a hob just 3 months back. The glass broke suddenly, and when we complained we were told taht the same shall be replaced. Its more than 2 weeks we are still awaiting for a confirmation from faber. They are unable to even sort out issue, since they do not have the material in stock. Pathetic service. Let me see how long will they take to resolve this issue

                    My complain no is[protected] and I launched this on July, 27th.
                    Let me explain my experience regarding servicing of chimney. I have received call from this
                    phone no - [protected], and got assurance that I will get a call from Faber service Centre, Bangalore to
                    get intimation of my chimney service which will be done at earliest.
                    At 5 o'clock I have received call from [protected] who said they are being asked to call me from Head
                    Office. When I ask them "what is the reason of calling"-they could not give me any answer. This is really silly!!

                    From my interaction to Faber I have contacted following persons related to service

                    1. Service Centre[protected]
                    2. Service centre[protected]
                    3. Faber technician Sibu- [protected] (He lied that he is off duty and out of Bangalore)
                    4. Faber office- [protected] (Promised to send technician after getting invoice of purchase, then
                    disconnected call from Tuesday)
                    5. Mr. Ravi (Faber)- [protected] (Assured technician is on the way to repair, when I called started
                    disconnecting the call)

                    I have enough evidences with me now to file a case against Faber to Consumer Court. This can clearly
                    can go as as evidence of harassment caused to me by Faber. Due to no chimney, both of my kids are having
                    burning sensation in their eye.
                    I will submit my medical expenses and want to claim for this along with harassment by their service
                    centre in Bangalore.

                      Chimney model is hood trato 90 cm. The chimney hood glass is blasted out of sudden in the middle of the night. Luckily no was around otherwise could have seriously injured could have lost eyes.
                      After that i lodged complain for repair since three weeks i am waiting for repair but not getting any proper answer.
                      This is seriously carelessness from company side.

                        I have purchased a feber hob gas fusion 372sspcig h [protected] bill no. 176 dated 04.06.16 from vendor lokenath systems, jadabpur kolkata
                        But during installation it noted that it is defective.
                        Vendor cheated me they have supplied unsealed material without warranty card.
                        Now i am helpless to get free service to rectify. and it become useless. please help me to rectify it.

                          My complaint is against faber customer service for my induction cooktop. the glass of the induction cooktop is broken and hence lodge a complaint to customer service no. [protected] on 5th june-16 (complaint no. 1603). customer care advised that initially i have to order for glass and the glass factory is in pune and it would take apx. 2/3 days for the glass to arrive. service center guy is not definite timeline for the glass to arrive mumbai and after the parts arrive the machine will be repaired. very pathetic customer service of faber. today i repent buying this machine from faber.

                            We are having 3 burner cook top. After some time of purchasing we got disappointed with the quality and performance. Of late flames from all the burners are not performing satisfactorily. For repairing, on our calling the company's mechanic they have come /taken their visiting charges promptly but after their leaving one burner has been thrusted deep downwards (It has come down to the level of glass top) thus become useless/ we are not able to operate it. On again calling the company's mechanic he has informed that part required to rectify the is not available with the company any more thus compelling us to abandon one burner permanently. We are under great distress for this irresponsible, unprofessional and anti consumer behavior of the company.

                              A. Following facts are submitted:
                              1. Hob fusion 472 ssp (106.0203.835) purchased in february 2015, vide invoice dated 646 dated 03.02.2015
                              2. Same installed by their representative, on 26.05.2015. The installation amount is rs.500/- vide cash receipt no. 6970 and job no. [protected] dated 26.05.2015
                              3. They issued a warranty card dated 26.05.2015 (For sl. No. H[protected]) and said that warranty will start from 21.05.2016.
                              4. Inadvertently we have not read the terms and conditions, which says that warranty is for 12 months from the purchase of product.

                              B. The complaints were lodged on toll free number - [protected] as per following details:
                              1. First complaint lodged on 28.04.2016 for the hob not working vide complaint no.[protected].
                              2. The representative (Santosh) came and said generator box and its wiring shall be replaced. I said that this is within the warranty period. He said the same shall be replaced free of cost and he took the photo of warranty card & receipt of rs. 500/-. He said that this will be replaced free since it is within the warranty card. He said that he will come on 02.05.2016 and will replace the same.
                              3. No body did not turn up till 4th may 2016. I called again then they have given the separate complaint no.[protected] again saying that this is the complaint number for replacement of generator box.
                              4. Their representative (Pawan) came and said that the warranty starts from purchase of product and not from the date of installation, which was confirmed by their head of northern region of faber - mr rajeev sharma - his phone number is[protected].

                              Issue:
                              1. When the renovation work is going on in any house / kitchen, the product is generally purchased in advance for the measurement of place wherein it is installed. The installation of such product is done, when all the work in kitchen is completed and gas pipe connection is installed. The gas pipe connection is installed later on. The installation of gas pipe is also with us.

                              2. My issue is that warranty of any product should be started from the date of purchase or installation by keeping some target for installation period. E.G. 18 months from date of purchase or 12 months from installation of product. Which is generally is done by indian companies.

                              3. Here, the head of northern region of faber said that you can go anywhere, this is the system of our company (That the warranty will start from purchase of product) and i will not take any risk if the customer purchase the product and do not install two years. We are not responsible.
                              4. They are making the fool to customers.
                              5. The matter should be taken up for changing this system in foreign companies.
                              6. I saw their site (Faber) wherein in european companies, the warranty of product is for 24 months, why not in india.
                              7. The call center of such companies should explain all the things in advance to avoid such rift between their representative and customer.
                              8. At least they should change the defective generator box on payment basis. But no body turned up for anything.

                              Now it is requested that the matter should be looked into and accordingly the decision to be taken in case of such foreign companies, taking care of consumer interest.

                              worst company in terms of service. staff is very rude and shouts on customer instead of listening to them. i have reguistered my complaint on 27th may its 2nd june but no technician has visited afted many calls made
                              Yes, Faber is very bad company in terms of service. Technicians who come for services are pathetically bad. The service center is not interested in listening to complaints and despite providing all the details, tecnician is not provided any details about service requirements and comes to home without any spare parts.

                                I had purchased a faber built in oven (Fea 771 xs) in september 2015. It has been intermittently giving problems - it won’t start at times, or would suddenly start working after an hour or so.

                                A technician had already been called last year end to troubleshoot the problem. But he came a few days later, after the oven had started working again on it’s own.

                                On 1st may 2016, i made a call to the faber customer care since the oven had stopped working again. It has still not been resolved and no one has had the decency to call me and update me on the progress of my complaint. Mr shailendra desai ([protected]) is the person incharge in mumbai and he does not answer his phone. Fantastic!

                                I just want the built in oven to be replaced, since it is still well within the warranty period. Any repairs will not be accepted as it is still a new piece which has been used very sparingly.
                                But above all, i would like to mention the appalling after sales service that doesn’t take any responsibility or even have the courtesy to call back. Now here is the frustrating part. The customer care does not have the authority to do anything and the service center guys don't pick up the phone. And here's the kicker - the technicians don't pick up the phone of their own customer care executives. And to add to the helplessness, as told to me by the customer care, faber as a policy does not replace appliances even if they are within the warranty period. They just repair it when it suits them and raise their hands when they can't. I love the way they want unsuspecting customers to buy their products, without investing in the after sales service. If you ask me, it is a crime in today's age. That's my hard earned money.

                                  I purchased perla energy ltw 60 on[protected] . Company gave me life time warranty ( ltw ) i. E. 12 years from the date of purchase . My chimney did not work from[protected] . I registered a complaint on[protected] on customer care which telephone no. Is[protected] . Customer care gave me complaint no.[protected] . After 2 days service engineer came and inspected the chimney . He told me that motor does not work and need to replace it and problem is solved in maximum 21 days . After 21 days i again call to customer care . They told that motor is not in stock and with in a week problem will solved. Again and again they assured me that problem will solved 1 day or 2 day . They gave me a mobile no. ([protected]) of mr. Gopal choudhary, jaipur for contact . When i contact to mr. Gopal ji, they told that with in a week motor will replaced but after 15 days there is no progress on my complaint. I contact mr. Gopal ji and customer care frequently but no positive response gave me. I think that neither faber nor mr. Gopal ji are interested in my complaint. Now i appeal to all future customer that please do not purchase any franke faber product coz they are not able to maintain service and replacement . I am also going to file a civil suit for mental harrasement and also file consumer complaint in consumer forum in my city .

                                  Faber — Not attending complaint regarding repairing of Chimney in warranty period.

                                    As I let u know that I am a resident of ldh Punjab... I bought Faber hob six months back... There was some problem in it... So I calledup at its service company which is at pakhowal road ldh. There one technician came and done it's service and said if there will b any problem again then call up, but on the very next day I called up again that there is still the same problem in it so plz come and repair it. For this I called up seven times but they doesn't come and always says our technician will come Tom. My motive is to inform u that staff of Faber company ldh is very irresponsible and not doing their service well. Plz do some favour for me and send ur technician to my place as soon as possible.. As I am suffering with grt problem.
                                    I hope u will read my request and ll take vice action against this.
                                    I have purchased one kitchen hood from nikshan electronics Kannur kerala last week. Your technical people called me many times for the installation but no body turned up till date. They are giving different stories every time. So kindly take the product back and give me the cash

                                      I had bought a faber chimney and their authorized agent used to give the service. One fine morning authorized agent was terminated by them without our knowledge and the agent opened another company with the same name and continued to give us service. Now when there is a problem in my chimney they swiftly avoided their responsibility saying that the chimney was serviced last by their authorized agent and it is no more within the warranty. They completely washed off their hands from the responsibility of their agents wrong doing with their customer and put us at the lurch. I would suggest no one to buy faber product ever.

                                        I was pushed to take the AMC of the hob and chimney when installed. i was promised 4 services in a year and it has been 2 years that i have got only 1 service. i have repeatedly lodged complaints after complaints but must say the executives who receive calls are PATHETIC!!!
                                        every time i get an answer that an executive will come to your place and rectify the problem but till date no one has come.
                                        I have a 5 burner hob and out of 5 only 2 are functional for the last 6 months.
                                        the biggest mistake of my life was to invest in such a bogus company. very very disappointed and the worst company ever.
                                        I am also facing problems by using Faber hobs. Performance is poor compared to my traditional stove and now one burner stopped working. Service charges also high.
