I had bought a faber brass 4 burner hob one year back. From day 1 i had a problem with the hob with 1 burner not working well and other burner getting switched off by itself. I had called the service center and lodged a complaint then. They came after 2 weeks and said there is no problem without checking anything. Actually we are all govt employees myself a bank manager, my wife a doctor that we dont have time to always lodge a complaint and make an issue about it. Now for the last 4 -5 months, the situation has become so grave that in one burner flame is frequently going off and when we try to burn it again there is a boom boom sound and my mother and servant are really getting scared to use it as they feel it can burst any time. Really really scared. The under part of one burner has already rusted and its so sad and disgusting to see my favourite company's brand getting rusted in 7-8 months time. Really really sad.

The other issue is that cylinder is lasting only for 15 days as lot of gas is being consumed. I strongly believe that the hob is a defective one. I have been asking for a replacement. Please replace the hob asap. If i don't get a solution, then i will have no option other than to take up the matter legally which i dont wish to go for.

Apart from that your customer service has been so pathetic. They dont respond even after lodging complaint now its been more than a week since we lodge comlaint. They behave so irresponsibly and in a rude manner as if they are the md's. Now its high time that we cant tolerate anymore.

    I had purchased a faber chimney (Model - solaris 680 ltw 90 ss) on 13.06.2009. Suddenly i started facing the issue that the proper suction is not happening, so i booked a service request (Complain number[protected] on 11th sep’17 for the service. The technician had visited my residence and told that the motor need to be replaced and the same will be done within ten days max. I have contacted customer care number several times and even they also gave me the false assurance again and again. Finally today[protected] when i had given a call to the customer care they told me it may be done within tuesday and they are not sure. From them i took the number of kolkata service centre and they told me till now there is no update and they put the blame on the pune office. When i asked them to escalate they told me that nothing can be done from their end and i need to follow up. I got shocked getting information that form the next weekend the service centre will remain closed due to durga puja and the lady with whom i had chat she is very much casual in handling the customer concerns.

    This is second time i am again facing the same issue while changing the motor. I don’t understand why faber doesn’t make their spare parts available in different zones and every time the service centre needs to be dependent on the pune office.

    This is the second time i am facing such kind of casual attitude from the customer care executives of faber. After the last incident i thought that some actions would have been taken, but the situation has become worst. From now onwards i need to think twice before purchasing the faber products and i will not recommend anyone to purchase the same.
    Take necessary action on the same and fix it asap.

      Hi,
      I have bought a faber hob online on feb 2017. Currently facing an issue with hob. While i am connecting to the hob, the whole electricity in my house is getting short circuit. When i registered the complaint they say this is not covered under warranty as i have purchased in online. The hob is only 6 months old and faber is taking a ride on customers by saying it is chargeable.
      The technician calls me and says it will cost me 1150.
      This is very annoying. How can faber expect customers to pay 1150 in 6 months time. I demand to get this done at 0 cost.

        I have booked a complaint on 20.07.2017 regarding not working my energy e 90 chimney, but till today i. E. 13.09.2017 they are not attends my complain. I have call so many times to your customer care no to informed about my complain but always they have replied "our guwahati service center people call you within a short time" but that time has never come till date.

          Mr ali service representative of faber nagpur does not responds to service calls. If by chance responds then fails to keep the commitments.in case he dose respond then the service is not proper in the sense that the chimney exhaust stops functioning the very next day of servicing. There after starts the same process of calling, not responding and if respond s then not keeping the commitment.in my case the chimney after lot of persuation was serviced by mr ali on 7th august 2017 and from 8th morning the exhaust not working. Thereafter mr ali does not respond to calls and if called from different numbers do respond but does not keep the commitment. The chimney remains in active causing inconvenience and damage to the kitchen wall. Have we made a mistake in choosing your product. Please look into the matter.
          For the last 6 months Iam facing problem with one of the burner. I have paid service charges twice during this period. The service is not at all satisfactory since the problem repeats within 2-3 days. Request for immediate help

            Ignition part of small burner faber hob model 604 ci installed on 22/10/2016 by faber service provider one touch solutions services, paschim vihar, new delhi is not working from the very first day.
            Every time their technician visit to repair says that it will be replaced within 2 or 3 days but they never repaired or replaced that part.
            I never expect such type of after sale service from a company like faber.
            Needless to mention that i will never purchase any faber product and never recommend to anyone for purchase of faber product

              I had called faber servicing company, nayabad, kolkata, to set right pcb guard in july'2017. Technician reported that that funzi pcb guard is not available at the moment & an order no. 83859 dated 14th july, 2017 has been placed with faber for replacement. Despite follow-up, the part has yet to be replaced.
              I called up mr sanjay sur of faber, kolkata office but he didn't answer my phone call, his no is [protected].
              This couldn't care less attitude from a company like faber is unacceptable.

                I would like to bring to your notice my greviance regarding my purchase of faber chimney from cloudtail india through amazon. Kindly see the attached

                Purchase details.

                The faber chimney was installed on 15 th july through toll free booking. Though the package was apparently in good condition, the chimney made much noise and one of the led bulb was not working.

                The service person advised me to lodge a complaint via toll free because only after that any service could be done. If any major problem is found the company would totally replace the product only if the chimney is opened for service after toll free complaint booking. Also he registered in his installation report about both the complaints.

                After booking in toll free a second service person came and checked the chimney. Due to damage in some parts of motor, he dismantle the motor and took it for replacement. Also told that led bulb would be fixed along with motor installation.

                During third visit, the third service person came and fixed the motor but he was unaware of the fused led bulb and that was not replaced.

                Every time i lodge a booking for service in toll free i had been telling that the led bulb was not working on the day of installation itself. Moreover the person who installed the chimney also registered that complaint in his installation report.

                Then, after so many calls to the service centre located at salem and booking in toll free, a fourth service person came on 23.08.2017. Alas!!! He was not given instructions about the fused led bulb and he came for service without a spare bulb. He promised me that he would definitely take care of complaint and he would definitely fix the bulb the next day.

                On 24.08.2017 i received a call from service centre in charge. He said that he could not exchange the led bulb free of cost and i had to pay 200 rs towards the cost of led bulb. He told me bulb does not come under warranty.

                My grievance is that after so many days of continuous phone calls and toll free complaint booking, the service incharge is telling me that the led bulb does not come under warranty and it can't be fixed free of cost.

                If at all they had told me on the day of installation itself, i would have asked for exchange of that motor damaged fused bulb chimney, or would have returned the chimney unit through amazon.

                I am sorry to convey that i am not satisfied with the purchase of faber chimney and am in mental agony and stressed a lot due to unfixed problems inspite of repeated toll free complaints and repeated phone calls to service centre in salem.

                I really don't understand in what way i am responsible for the fused bulb and how can i pay for the replacement of fused bulb which was not working on the time of installation itself.

                I really dont understand the warranty replacement policy. Even for an ordinary cfl and led bulbs we buy in stores or online, we are getting 1 to 2 years warranty. For a branded chimney, which is topmost selling product led bulbs not under warranty is a real pity.

                Finally, after so much of mental stress, i request you to kindly look into this matter and do the needful for free replacement of fused led bulb.

                  We purchased 2 chimneys from banglore faber galleria i #159/2/40, 15th cross, mts layout, 80 feet road, kengeri satellite town, bengaluru, karnataka 560060

                  Since the day we have got it insatlled its touch pad is not working, i called the store for the issue and was told to call the customer service, after half hour wait i was able to speak to customer care people,

                  Technician came after 3 days after complaint and he clearly told that the chimneys are faulty there will besapring in the tocuh pad and its moved we cant repair the spring but have to change the whole chimney,

                  He will contact the store manager and inform but even after a week i haven't received nay response so had to call the service center again to my utter shock the technician has reported saying noise problem is resolved and the complaint is closed.

                    I have mis-placed my invoice but have warranty card and purchase order, but i have missed my invoice, hence i have given all the details about when i have purchased the chimney, so that i can get a duplicate copy of invoice. But the owner of the shop is not even ready to listen about the situation and do the needful. I want to know how i should proceed so that i can duplicate of the invoice.

                      Im completely fedup with faber cooktop and will advice noone to ever buy it even if given free of cost!

                      I have a 4 burner faber cooktop, since the time i purchased there was some or the other problem... Till 1 yr it was serviced free.. After that each time the techincian would come he would say that some part needs changing.. I have paid 500-1000 rs on each such visit in the last 3 years.. Almost it has been giving trouble every second month but no permanent solution was given.

                      Till date i have paid more than the price of the cooktop -8000 on service and spare parts and still continue to suffer

                      Their service network is extremely poor and so are the staff - untrained and unoraganised and not at all customer friendly

                      Pls do not suffer like the way i have.. And go for some otther cooktop in the market

                        One of the worst and pathetic gas stove we have ever experienced. We bought 5 burner hob worth 24k from distributors in udaipur. We somehow managed to use it for almost 14 months and from the beginning of 2nd month we started facing hell lot of issues. Called the service center people but never received the proper response, we also mailed them couple of times and wrote a complain but they were just least bothered. After hell lot of issues and no response from the company people we literally threw it in garbage. I won't even ever suggest for this companies product to even my enemies.

                          I am a resident of guwahati Assam.brought a faber chimney from a nearby store 3 month ago and dealing with problem since 20 days.registerd a problem 20 days ago but they are not responding.aak me to share the problem and warnanty card via watsapp which I did and told me to wait 2 or 3 working days.but aftr 15 days nobody arrived.i tried asking them the reason by calling almost everyday during those 15 days but they kept me on waiting.i called their manager but still no help received.today they called me asking me rs 900 for the service they are going to provide which was meaning less coz the product is still under warranty. I asked the service centre again but they told it is the rule of Faber that I have to give the service charge even when the product is under warranty.isnot this some kind of fraud act I m facing ? Please make some action against the poor servicing ..Time taken to respond a costumer which is more thn 20 days.asking money for the product under warranty..thankyou
                          Fan's bearing and bush are getting replaced every six months now, and according to service provider's ridiculous reply, that's the life of replaced bush or bearing. I want to inquire from company officials that is this the quality of your product. That it has to be replaced after every six months.
                          Earlier in July 2017, we purchased one gas stove from the local vendor of Faber first time its burner melted so I asked him to change it. I thought it might be one stove fault. he changed and gave me a new one. in the second stove after a two week only its melt and broke down. attached picture for reference.

                            I called the Faber technicians to clean and service my chimney. Even after instructing them to use the soft sponge only, they took my steel wool scrub to clean the chimney leaving large marks on the entire surface. After refusing to pay and complaining to the Chennai Office, I was told to replace the whole thing by paying an additional 5k+ despite it being the fault of their own unprofessional technicians. Kindly take action on the same.

                              The service center guwahati is keeping us misguided about their time of arrival. I have paid ₹ 22, 400 to buy it but could not start since 26 may 2017 till date due to blunder of technicians & service center.

                                I bought faber hob 2 1/ yrs back, that was the biggest mistake i made. From the day one this product has given me only problem nothing else, i have to keep on calling service people they will come after 10 phone calls. Even after that they do poor quality job. Since 10 days my hob has gas leakage and nobody is attending it. I have spent 17000 but that hob never worked for even 17 days properly. I dont think anyone will even see this complaint or i am just taking out my frustration. Saw so many other people are suffering due to this poor produst.

                                  The worst experience with the worst product and service!!!

                                  Here is my terrible experience with faber hobs (#faber). We bought a stove a year and half back. The stove has given us nothing but problems. Every 3-4 weeks it stops working and we had to call a service person. After a while they sold us an annual service contract saying it will save us money. Now they don’t even show up to honor the service contract. It is possibly the worst product experience i have ever had.

                                  We paid for a stove of poor quality and for a service contract of even poorer quality. #neverbuyfaber. Now we don’t have a working stove!!

                                    I have raised the complaint regarding my hob which i have bought 1 month back. Once a technician visited and he asked for the warranty card and invoice detail, after that i watsapped those details to this number :[protected]. Then i am following with this number but am nt getting any response. Also i have called to customer care several times and every time customer care person is giving me assurance that they will call me back but i am not getting any update on this.

                                    Now this hob is behaving crazy. Yellow flame is coming over the burner, sometimes gas comes out of burner heavily which is dangerous, small burner is not working properly through the auto ignition. Its not more than one month and i am not going to put any spare parts on it. If the product s getting worse in one month how will i believe that it will work fine after warranty period.

                                    When i am speaking with service centre they are instructing me to speak with customer care, then i am calling to customer care they are instructing me to speak with dealer and when i am speaking with dealer he is instructing me to speak with service centre. So basically i have trapped in this nexus which is moving through round robin fashion without any conclusions.

                                    Now they have given karnataka regional manager's number. Mr jagadeesh. Who either will disconnect my call or make his phone off. I have textes several times but no response yet.
                                    Suce a reputed company and the service is below standard. Really frustrated with this guys.
                                    No response on service complaint after 3 days also. I need to call back and check with customer care. We will check on this. If we ask further why service engineer not available within 48 hours as per their SLA and they are asking to check with service centre. Very very bad service support.

                                      I have purchased faber chimney topaz plus ltw 60 from a. K. Enterprises, 2 ashok nagar, near hanuman mandir raisen road pulbogda bhopal (M. P.)
                                      462023. I have complaint this dealer, he has given customer care phone no.
                                      [protected]. I have dialed this phone no so many times but no response from customer care. It is much regretted that no body is attending my complaint. I am very disappointed with such irresponsible executives of faber company.

                                        I had puchased faber cooktop eco 400 cta1 from m/s birju mal budhu lal ring road kalyanpur Lucknow vide book no 02, serial no 062 dated 15.12.2016.
                                        Right from begining unit has leakage problem which Lucknow service centre has corrected on 21.12.16 24.12.16 29.12.16 30.12.16 31.12.16 2.1.17 5.1.17 6.1.17 7.1.17 8.1.17 & there after severally., once faber Lucknow service centre owner (Ph:4072210) has also visited which temporarily solved the issue, they have also tight the loose Knob which lead to its damage however same have been replaced by them but of different model, as leakage is persistant and same may cause any major mishap ., in persuit of this kindly replace this cook top with a fresh one at the earliest may be with your authorised dealer m/s. birju mal budhu lal Lucknow.
