Glass Broken

| am having faber glass top and chimney. After one month o[censored]se glass of the hob broke down automatically and blast is such that glass is scattered every corner of the kitchen. If anyone is present there at that time then it will be a serious human injury. I called customer care and ask them to replace the glass hob, there representative come and click the photo and told me that they will update after 2 days. There is no call from there side...

Hi, I have purchased Faber Kitchen Chimney on 18th May, 2014 and then sent Registration Card along with Tax invoice to their Pune office address in envelope provided with user manual on 3rd of June 2014. I was communicated from customer service that request has been processed with 90 days. After 90 days when I contact them again, they told me that they have not received Registration Form. This is very disappointing and frustrating service.

    I purchased Crystal 30CT AI DG Glass Cooktop from on line shopping through snapdeal. Which was delivered to me on Friday 4th September 2014. Consignor was M/s. JSR Distributors Pvt.Ltd. B-77, Okhla Industrial Area Phase-II New Delhi-110020 as per their invoice No. R-3636 Dated 30th August 2014 As soon as I Installed the product and tried to test it whether it is O.K.. I came to that one of the burner is not working I than contacted snapdeal through E Mail I cane to know that they would not replace the defective product I have also mailed to Franke Faber India Ltd. And the consignor M/s. JSR Distributor Pvt.Ltd. So please help me out to resolve the matter so that I can get a replacement with new fresh one

      hi - i have purchased faber chimney on[protected] in bangalore along with aluminium pipe, we have called up the faber chimney customer care executive for installation in nellore location which is situated in Andhra Pradesh. when we called the service person for installation they have demanded to buy the aluminium pipe from them only or else we will not do the installation. Finally we requested that the pipe already is there pls do the installation, after all installation guy has demanded for installation fees will be Rs. 3500 and the same was paid to install, By the time of purchasing delaer it self has informed that you will get pan india service. when we called to customer care they have cleared informed us installation will be max Rs. 500 for pan india. there is no proper communication and service from faber end. faber chimney cost itself only 17000/- and installation would be the cost of 3500/- i have never ever seen this type of cheating to customers.. i have a orginal installation bill also which is issued by authorised person.. expecting a positive resolution and appropriate action that it will not to happen to other customers kiran [protected]

        I recently purchased a hob a month back and it's giving us a lot of trouble. One burner is having issues and we have pipeline has so the meter is also steadily being consign more gas.. I have lodged complains several times. The technician came to visit too but then a nozzle needs to be replaced but then they are just not coming to change the part, may be because it's still in warranty. +[protected] this is the number of the complaint centre. They receive my call and put it on hold. It's really harassing. Faber is horrible and all the people who work there are rude.

          1.My annual service contract is with your centre on S P Mukherjee Road, Kolkata. Phone no.[protected]. 2. I was called by your centre on23rd July and the timing was fixed for 25th July - after 3.00 pm - as the kitchen is not free before that. 3. On 25th, at 11.00 am one Anand Lal called and wanted to visit then. 4.This happens every time - as my residence is near your centre and they try to finish it first. 5. Today, I talked to Ms Chakrabarty there and tried to explain that I should not be penalised for residing near by. Nor I enter into this contract to make your technicians' travel easier! 6. Unfortunately, I failed to explain this simple thing to Ms Chakrabarty - and the matter is hanging fire. 7. Incidentally, I am a very old customer and service was not like this earlier.             I purchased faber glassy 60 sunzi 1200 chimney, within one year I complained more then ten times Still it is not working I tried many request but till date 14/08/2014 they are not hearing me, The company is making me fool by saying that we will repair it .             i have bought a fabber chimney in 2012, for the past 2-3 months the chimney is not working

            I have purchased afaber chimney- fabio bk tc ltw 90 on 28/10/2020 and installed on 06/11/2020. After two days active service it went wrong and the hood is not opening its glass panel is not functioning.

              I just wanted to write since I feel that the installation charge to install the Chimney is too high. I recently bought Faber chimney from Trivandrum showroom and logged a call with Faber service centre to install the same. The call was not attended in a professional way and they did not mention about the installation charge or additional charge or requirements to install the equipment. When the technical person came over to install the same they have asked about the pipe and informed that they need to drill the wall and it would cost additional charge. I bought the chimney from FOR HOME and they have NOT informed anything about the same. Even I called the service centre and they DID NOT inform anything. All thing came to be as SURPRISE after buying a Chimney which has cost of 21000. Can’t FABER offer a free installation for this equipment which just needs to fit in to the wall? Further to this I am not happy with the installation as the drilled hole is above the Chimney and it can be seen for others. I have to get a painter to fill putty in now to get that closed. They have charged me as below. Pipe: 1300 Chimney fitting 600 Drilling to bypass the pipe to external: 300 In Total: 2200 This is ridiculous. This was installed by Travancore services, Trivandrum

              While our experience with Faber itself in terms of after sales services requiring both the installation of a Chimney and a Hobb was certainly bad, the worst was our experience with the cheating sales persons who assured that no installation charges would be charged due to the price of the products and an ongoing scheme. The name of this store is AM 2 PM, Aurobindo in Delhi and it is the absolute worst store to buy the product from. For future buyers, I would suggest that you steer clear of Faber and particularly of the AM 2 PM Store, 252 B Sant Nagar Isckon Temple Road, New Delhi 110065. They cheated us in terms of the very specifications of the product and after the money had been paid refused to offer any and all services (including the basic service of having our invoice stamped- which I need to get a warranty on my products! The owner was certainly a changed man after the money had been paid) that they had previously promised. I am completely disgusted and disillusioned. I have never had such a bad experience.
              I guess this is what all installation guys are doing in the name of free installation. AC guys wants us to bear the drilling, force us to buy a outdoor unit stand, stabilizer etc. Washing machine guys wants us to buy a stand. Ive come to the conclusion all free installations would cost around 2000rs. Recently Faber installers wanted us to buy a aluminium hosing from them even thougj it was provided free along with the chimney siting it as inferior quality. Demanded 2000rs upfront and I have to arrange for somebody to drill the wall. To all sellers pls be transparent and mention no free installation. Faber website says 500rs as chimney installation charges.

                Greetings I write this email with a lot of regret around a purchase of Faber Hob .We got it installed on the 6th Aug 2014 &on 6 th Aug 2014 it broke completely . My mom was cooking at that time &; the entire granite piece just blasted.She has been following up with the dealer Aditya for the past 4 days now & has got no success. Faber is a renowned brand &; never expected one this to happen & to top it up poor customer service.The hob could potentially hit in the eye or cause serious injuries I expect this to be completely replaced asap & install my trust back in this brand.                   Hi I have registered complaint for Faber service center on May 29th about my hob auto ignition was not wroking, I never got proper response form the faber service center, finally after 1.5 months have asked for the service center contact number, I contacted them . Again the irresponsibly continues after 2 weeks of follow up i got a service engineer at my house . As per him some instrument has to be replaced in the hob . He said with in 3 days it will replaced .And my complaint will be solved. Now today is august 7 still my problem is not solved. Every time i call a service center they say they will get back in 10 minutes and after that no response. If faber cannot give a proper service to the product which they are selling . why the hell they are selling product. I don't know how this consumer complaint help me . But i want to make sure that if products are getting sold in india they should give a service at a appropriate time . I have been talking to KK service center in bangalore Thanks Dilip

                    This is in reference to my service request
                    registered with your customer care call center on[protected]. I was
                    told that my docket no./complaint reference number would be sent through
                    SMS right after the call. I didn't receive any message with the
                    reference number.The service technician who visited my
                    house informed us that PCB needs to be replaced and will be changed only
                    if we pay for AMC charges. I referred the warranty booklet/manual which
                    does not say anywhere that AMC has to be taken every year to keep the
                    life time warranty cover. My consequent conversations with customer care
                    on this matter ended up with very rude unfriendly behavior which was
                    un-called for.Realizing my helplessness to be
                    stuck due to worst after sales experience, I promised myself not to buy
                    FABER ever again and spread the word to everybody I know. We paid
                    Rs.1450 to the service technician to get this resolved. After few days,
                    on[protected], another technician visited and replaced PCB and informed
                    us that motor is also bad and needs replacement. He said that he has no
                    updates from the previous technician and cannot help it.Today,
                    on[protected], even after paying money contradicting life time
                    warranty, I am at mercy of FABER technicians, waiting for them to do the
                    needful to make things working. Service technicians clearly mention
                    that it is the fault of seller who didn't inform you about warranty. In
                    addition to that, after paying additional money, I am doing a endless
                    wait for some body to turn up. I would like to take this as intimation
                    that I am going to take harsh actions and take legal action for the
                    harassment and will not tolerate this negligence on your part.

                      I had purchased 1 No.
                      Faber Gas Hobs Glass Burner – Model G.B. 30 MT on 25th April, 2014
                      vide Bill No. Apr/147/14.


                      Unfortunately while
                      the above gas burner was in use on 13th July, 2014 morning
                      hours, the glass top totally collapsed and broke up almost causing serious
                      injury.


                      A complaint was made
                      to Customer Care on 13th July 14 itself

                      and your technician visited my residence on 13th July 14 also. Your

                      technician informed that we have to replace the glass top at our own

                      cost.


                      Please understand that
                      1 gas stove is required for daily use and delay in response and action in
                      handling the issue is creating problems in our life. Request you to kindly take
                      corrective actions as the earliest.


                      Now its has been more than 10 days now
                      of the particular case and incidence

                      has happened and reported to your good company but regretfully I have

                      to say that no action has been taken and even my mails has gone

                      unanswered. This was neither expected and nor acceptable.


                      Please let me know by which date we can
                      expect a reply and corrective action from your end.


                      I must say its really disappointing that
                      A BRANDED & BIG COMPANY like your are not handling customer
                      grivances.

Faber is the worst comapny i have ever used ...10yrs before when i bought my chimney i was very satisfied . Recently few months ago i bought for my inlaws .., the company jkust donot bother after sales service & suction is too bad

                          It's just been 1 month that I bought this hob 3 burner model HGG 653 CRR BR(EI). Surprisingly, Just after a week the bi ggest burner stopped working, I complained about the same (complaint number[protected]. The service person came after 4 days and rectified it. Now just after few days the ignition stopped working and one of the small burners was fluctuating and I complained on 7 July ( complaint number[protected]. The service man came on 9th July, he just saw the hob and told me that the ignition stick is ruined so he would come the next day and change it. For the burner he said he is unable to understand what the problem is. No one turned the next day. I called customer service again and told my issue. They promised a call back. I received a call from customer service that I need to pay Rs 160 for the ignition stick. I told them about my warranty period but the customer service woman said that even we need to pay to company so I have to pay them. I again called there toll free number and got the number of service manager Kolkata mr Ganguly. His number is [protected] he told me not to worry, I won't have to pay anything. Still no one returned. Then I got a call after 2 days that a senior service technician will visit my place soon. The so called senior technician came and after wasting half an hour he also said the same thing about ignition and for the burner he said that the jack needs to be replacedalso. And he would come the next day and change it. Still no one returned but I again got a call and the faber woman on the other end told me the same old story that I will have to pay for the ignition as well as for the jack. I told her that I have already spoken to there service manager that nothing needs to be paid. Then she said ok. Some one will come the tomorrow to do the job. Today is 18th July and nothing has been rectified. There service manager is disconnecting my call. Just unable to understand how long should I wait before I go legal against these people. This is real harassment.

                            I bought a faber 3 burner cooktop which is not working properly since day 1...it has been just a year and the metal portion of 2 of the burners has started melting...it is giving me a lot of trouble while cooking...please help... immediate attention required..we are suffering a lot...

                                Refer to my Previous written complaint over email. dt. 10.04.2014. In this regard I want to mention that today on 17.06.2014 your Bhopal Service Centre Executive have misbehaved me overphone for repair of my Faber 30-CT-Ai-Crystal Gas Cooktop. Following persons have misbehaved me over phone and asking to pay Rs.6000/- for lodging boarding travelling and parts.The cost of this cooktop is approx rs.6000/- Bhopal Service Centre Technician Wahir Mobile No. [protected] and other [protected] have misbehaved me over phone. And after use of this product within 3 months the burners are getting band's. I am regularly contacting to your dealer but your dealer have told me that your dealer cannot give any Service. For Service of this product contact to Toll Free number of FABER. Till date neither service is given by faber nor repaired my cooktop. Your bhopal service centre have challenged me that your faber cooktop never will repaired. Your Bhopal Service Centre Executives and mechanics are loosing the reputation of Faber.                                   i have pruchsed faber chimnay four years back . the chimney soesnt work as it should be from the day it is installed . executive visited everytimes calls for as if they are honest and repaired it . but i believe it may have some techinacal or may be its part should be checked. there is no help and reply and also i have not recieved m whole life warranntee and gaurantee car . i have posted the card requiring details already times back. i nees immediate reply or i am forced to function frther as i am now having big trouble with chimney. i will be grateful .

                                    Its been 2 years had bought this cook top looks very beautiful. last week all of surprise night 2am the glass bursted and glass scattered all over the kitchen.
                                    Customer care are saying: if 100 of of 1000 happens its common and replacement will cost Rs 2000+.

                                    The most important factor here is safety as it involves gas i dont know how governament has given them ISI mark

                                    Even though i could get it repaired i would like to dispose it fearing safety.

                                    For all who care for your life or lives of your precious family members. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY FABER PRODUCTS.
                                    they are not safe and just cosmetically decorated. RAVI GUPTA THE MD and SUNIL MEHTA are Andersons in making just like union carbide

                                      April 22, 2014: I called the Faber customer care helpline to lodge a complaint. The auto ignition of one of the burners on my Faber cooktop was not working. I was told that my docket no. would be texted to me immediately and a technician would visit me within 24 hours. I received no message and so I sent an email to the Faber customer care ID. I had written: "The auto ignition of one of the burners on my Faber cooktop is not working. I called the customer care helpline today (April 22) to book a complaint. I was told that my docket no. would be texted to me but I have not received any message yet. Please confirm whether my complaint has been registered." I signed off with my name and mobile no.

                                      April 24, 2014: I received the following email: "We are in receipt of your e-mail regarding the problems being faced in the product. At the very outset please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused on account of our products or services. With regards to your mail, Kindly share your contact details with us. Assuring you the very best in services and look forward to your continued patronage." I immediately replied, pointing out that I had mentioned my mobile no. in my last email (which I quoted again) and that no technician had contacted me yet.

                                      April 25, 2014: I received 2 calls from 2 different service centres claiming to be Faber's authorised servicing agencies! Both insisted they had received the complaint. So now I had a problem of plenty. Both promised to send a technician the next day

                                      April 28, 2014: After 3 days, one of the agencies (SS Enterprise, Garia) finally sent a technician. The other had not followed up after the first call. The technician replaced a "broken part" and charged me Rs 540.
                                      But the same problem recurred a few days later.

                                      May 5/6, 2014: I called SS Enterprise and told them that the same problem was back barely a couple of days after the technician had replaced the part. The lady who took the call noted down my details and said she would send a technician

                                      May 22: I called up SS Enterprise once again and said it had been a fortnight since my last call and no one had called up/visited. This time a man took my call and he promised to send a technician the next day.

                                      May 23: I called up SS Enterprise to give them a reminder and the man once again assured me the technician would visit around 5.30pm-6pm

                                      May 24: I called up SS Enterprise once again to say I was still waiting for the technician. A woman took the call and told me my complaint had been closed! I was alarmed. After much questioning and argument I realised that they had not logged a complaint at all after my call on May 5/6. I was told that I would have to call up the customer care helpline, only then would the call be logged. When I told them that I should have been informed about this procedure on my first call itself instead of being give false assurances, the lady refused to admit any fault. Finally, she said she would log the call on my behalf and send someone by May 26.
                                      I had by then learnt enough so I called Faber customer care helpline and briefed the entire problem to Praveen (who identified himself as a supervisor). I was given a complaint code[protected] and promised the technician would visit on May 26.

                                      May 26: I called up the customer care helpline and was told technician Gurushankar would visit me the same day.

                                      May 27: I called up the customer care helpline again to say I am still waiting for the technician. The lady couldn't give me any explanation for the delay but promised to escalate the matter and ensure a technician callback the same day.

                                      I am still waiting for action.
