I booked my AIR India ticket through Flipkart travel for travel from Delhi to Mumbai on 13.06.23 but due to a delay of the flight AI0814 by 5 hours, Air India staff had to cancel my booking which was done on 14.06.2023 through Air India. I was assured by the airline that a full refund would be issued.
I have since submitted all necessary documents to facilitate the refund process. However, I received a communication from Air India informing me that the refund will be processed through the booking agent, in this case, Flipkart.
Upon seeking further clarification by calling Air India customer care, I was informed that the refund had been issued to a third-party agent (Flipkart).
There is no communication by email or phone from Flipkart about the status of the refund.
Therefore, I am keen to know the status of this refund from Air India to Flipkart and when I can anticipate this refund to be processed to my account. The phone number provided by Flipkart Travels does not work and I don't know how should I get back my full refund.
Flipkart customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
