I received the laptop from flipkart on 24th august. From the second day o[censored]sing the laptop, i faced the issue of laptop not switching on as it was taking around 40 mins to switch on. If I'm not wrong i requested for a return on 27th august. I was told a technician would come and visit on or before 2nd sept.. When they called me, i said i would be busy on both 1st as well as 2nd, so mentioned a specific time to give a call. Apparently they called during my class twice. I called them back after 15 mins, to know that my return is rejected because i did not pick the call (this happened on 2nd sept).
I immediately requested for a return as the 10 days replacement policy would end on 3rd sept only to know later on that my request got cancelled again without any fault of mine. This has ever since happened for 4 times continuously and each time flipkart did not bother to call me and update on my return request. Once a technician came, said switch on the laptop only then he will be able to take it and since he has 2 near by deliveries, he will come in 20 mins, but never returned nor bothered to take my call.I have spoken to almost 15 different people in flipkart over the due course and i havent received any solution. The company is giving me mental pressure. I even requested yesterday, if they are not willing to refund atleast tell a technician to solve the issues or give me a new product.As an MBA student, laptop is a very high involvement product for me on a daily basis, and because of flipkarts below average poor services im not able to complete my work as i have to depend on others for a laptop. Infact i have received several messages about escalating issues to higher authorities and none bothered to call me till now. Yesterday i called flipkart and told them to give the call to a higher authority. I spoke to them, they assured to call me today after 2pm. Nobody has yet called me. Every person i have spoken to has only made unkept promises. I also asked for an e mail through which i can send my complaints, as the one [protected]@flipkart.com says its invalid id.but the people who picks the call are resistant to give a valid e mail id. I wonder if a company like flipkart does not have an email where customers can reach to.
Since it was an emergency to use my laptop, i had to reopen the packaging and asked my friend to temporarily fix the problems, and thats how the switching on problems got resolved for the time being. I do not know what problems will arise in the future, but to continue with the product received from flipkart, im sure they wont be accountable for any issues.. I have invested a large amount in this laptop and i do not intend to use a defective product. With this laid back attitude of customer service from flipkart, i wonder if any customers are even satisfied.
