We have ordered redmi 5a gold, 32 gb on june 18 which was delivered to us on 19 june. While checking out the phone, we realised that the display of that phone is too yellowish which not even effects looks of the phone but also effects the photos and videos as the photos and videos in that phone shows photos and videos in very dull colour. I had purchased this phone only because of the camera, which is defected in my case because of display.
Also i want to add that this was my second redmi 5a phone which i had purchased within one month from the purchase of 1st one. My first phone is absolutely perfect without having yellow tint.
On 20 june we started calling flipkart and applied for replacement policy. I had applied for replacement for around 5-6 times through flipkart portal. On the first 3 requests, technician from "jeeves" visited us and told us that our seniors strictly told us not to accept replacements for display defects and hence every time after their visit our replacement request was cancelled by the flipkart. Then we raised rest 3 replacement requests and called flipkart customer care center who told us to wait for 29 th june, as our 4th technician visit was scheduled in between 29-30 june, the reason behind this late schedule visit was simple, as the 10 days replacement policy was going to end on 29 june so they just wanted to pass on those remaining 3-4 days. And on evening 29 june flipkart cancelled my rest two replacement request also. Also we had job sheet provided by mi customer care center that mentioned that product had defect.
At this moment, neither i am able to raise my request for replacement/ technician visit nor we are getting any satisfied help from flipkart customer care center.
In these 11-12 days, we have flipkart numerous of times, we contacted them through chats also which they left in between conversation many times, through mails also which are not replying back. We only received one mail from flipkart which says that "flipkart is not able to reach us" but frankly we have not received a single call on that date. They are just making excuses.
And now they are saying that my request was cancelled because we have settled the case with the seller. How unprofessional they are behaving.
I want replacement of that defected product, cant flipkart do that much only.

And we have provided that to flipkart . in response to that mail flipkart replied to wait for 14 july, i.e more 12 days . I am not getting the point, why flipkart wants us to wait more ...
