*buying from flipkart*... Read my story...
It was 10th of august when i ordered (Order id: od[protected] my first dslr camera on flipkart, my most trusted online marketplace. Moreover the dslr was flipkart assured so there was no chance of any mistakes and even if there would be anything like that i was very sure that flipkart will help me. I was waiting for 13th august, the promised day of delivery and was very excited, thinking that finally i am going to have my first dslr camera. The day came, and i got the product delivered, thanks to flipkart for on time delivery, as i expected, everything was good. All items were genuine. Dslr which is nikon d3400 came with 16gb class 10 sd card and one beautiful looking lowepro tahoe bp 150np camera bag which is provided by nikon as a part of consumer offer. Everything was well and good but when i checked the invoice there was no serial no. Mentioned, neither of the camera nor of the lenses. I thought this might be a mistake and i called flipkart's customer support. I told them that i am very happy with my product and if they could by any means provide me with a new corrected invoice it will be fine. You might know that, if your invoice is not having serial no. Of item you purchased, you won't get warranty, and i can't risk 2 years warranty for the same. They said that, sir, it's not possible to send another invoice, you will have to replace your item then only we will be able to provide correct invoice next time. They told me to place replacement request so i did. Now, i was waiting for 14th aug as my replacement was coming next day. The delivery guy came, this time package was small so i doubted, how could this big camera bag will get into it. I told the guy that they might have forgot to put the bag inside and even the delivery guy agreed. But he said, sir, i cannot let you open this box before i get the pickup items, so i gave him the pickup item, he checked everything and went. As the box was completely sealed, i trusted the guy. I took my tripod and my mobile phone to record unboxing video as i usually do so that i can have a visual proof. I opened the box, i was shocked to see that this time the seller has removed the sticker which represents nikon's consumer offer and provided me with a very cheap bag. The original bag costs around 5000₹ and it's very classy. And when i checked the invoice, this time they put product id. On the invoice which is of no use. For your information, product id remains same for one camera model and is not unique for a camera i. E. All nikon d3400 will have same product id whereas serial no. Which is written on bodies of camera and lenses are unique, and nobody in this world will have the same serial no. For this model. It's like imei no for a camera. My old issue was not yet resolved and this fake bag is now another. When i called customer care again they told me that they will definitely solve my issue before 17th. On 17th the delivery guy came with another replacement and i was shocked to see that, the package was even smaller than it was last time. The guy checked the pickup items and then called someone who said not to pickup the item and he took back replacement with which he came and told me to keep my item. When i called the guy to know about the issue why he didn't pick up, he said that while picking up the product from customer they have to call consumer support team who assists them while picking up. He also told me that, there was some problem with the replacement so he took it back. Now, when i called customer care on 17th august, they told me that by 21st august they will definitely short out my issue. On 21st again the delivery guy came, this time the package was even smaller, when i opened it, again same problem, they have removed sticker from the top of the box, and no serial number on invoice. Now, when i called customer care, they are telling that on there website nothing is mentioned about bag so they will give me any bag. For your information, the bag is provided by nikon india and not by flipkart and you can clearly see in the picture below or you can check this link (http://www.nikon.co.in/en_IN/about/events_and_promotions/consumer-offer-d3400-d...⇄ how flipkart is cheating by removing sticker. If something is free with my order its flipkart's responsibility to provide me with the same and you might know that on all free items, one line is written i. E. Not to a be sold loose, selling it seperately is illegal. So, if i am not getting wrong, nikon is providing that bag for free to flipkart as a part of consumer offer to give it to customers and flipkart is removing the sticker, sending fake bags to the customers and are selling the original bag seperately (Don't forget that by mistake they provided original bag first time). Now i am fed up, it's so frustrating that you keep on promising me the next date again and again, again and again you keep on providing me with same fake item. Now i can't wait for 27th aug, give me my money back... Now i can't trust you guys anymore... Flipkart gave me the biggest nightmare i ever had...
