Updated by SumitraDhan I had ordered a colorbar lipstick in a particular shade and they delivered the wrong one. I had immediately called their customer care to inform about the same, and had clearly told the CS executive that I had already opened the package/product and then realized the shade was wrong. And, so I had asked her about what to do with that. She told me that since it is a cosmetic they do not take returns and stuff, and so I do not have to worry about it. And, the right product would be delivered shortly.
I wasn't told anything about this wrong product being returned or picked up. So, I didn't bother to keep it safe for return. When the second product arrived, they refused to deliver it saying they needed the wrong product back, which I hadn't with me anymore. On contacting CS and telling them about the whole story, I was told they can't help and they NEED the wrong product back as per the policies, which wasn't told to me when I had called them and asked as well. Fortunately, I was somehow able to retrieve the wrong product and got it replaced. But, unfortunately, even the second time they failed to deliver the right product!
So, please note these dear FLIPKART:
1. Your CS sucks - big time! They fail to provide help and are hellbent on their own damn point which is not of any concern to the customer.
2. Transparency:
When I told them about what I was informed over the call, they clear-cut denied and stuck with what the exec had written in the record. (how can a customer know what your exec writes or notes down)
3. Lacking dedication and attention to detail:
Please, for heaven's sake, take the effort to check what the customer has ordered. Don't just randomly dump what you have in stock or whatever. You have delivered the wrong procut - TWICE!!! That too after wasting almost an entire day of mine. I had to wait for over 2 week to get that product - which was still wrong! You couldn't get that right even the second time.
4. Robotic customer support executives!!!
Do these guys even hear what we say, AT ALL??? They only repeat what's in their own set of provided instructions. That's no support in anyway!!!
5. Bad quality check!
To top it off, I got another defective item that I had purchased in the same order. However, I got a full refund for this. But, still a total wastage of time!!!
Never going to look back at Flipkart ever again!! Pathetic service, for the brand image it carries!
