The replacement product was shipped withing 2 hours of putting the complaint here as well as on social media. Immediately after putting the matter on social media, i got the call from Flipkart support and product was shipped.
I am happy that was resolved but at the same time I am worried about the standard resolution process and escalation mechanism in Flipkart.
Before posting my issue in social media i was struggling to any response from Flipkart support and was getting standard response that we are investigating the issue. Dint even got a call from Flipkart in four days after the issue happened. This is questionable support process.
First I was cheated and then i have to go through the mental stress as looking at the response from Flipkart support I was not sure I will get the replacement product.
In fours day I made three calls to Flipkart support and all response were not fruitful and then i realized that i will not get the solution with standard support. So i decided to post over social media.
All this shows that Flipkart is just worried about his reputation and hence they resolved the issue in just 2 hours upon putting the issue on social media. They dont care about customers. Going by standard support channel they have I would have been begging them to resolve the issue.
This incident had reflected flipkart support process and broken my trust over flipkart, so i will think 100 times before buying from flipkart. I don't want to post over social medial every time if there is an issue.
