Regarding Order No: OD[protected]
Hello,
Let me start by stating how I am feeling now.
I am frustrated, annoyed, disappointed, angry, and feel cheated.
I ordered a Green Soul Chair worth around Rs 15k on 30th July 2022.
I had canceled the order before it was delivered to me on 2nd Aug 2022.
But to my surprise, the package was delivered to the security guard of the building without taking OTP from me (I had an OTP for its delivery from Delhivery). And I came to know about it only after the guard brought it to my flat.
And when I opened the package, it was a different chair and that too incomplete. (Pic attached). The package was so light that anyone could have guessed that something was wrong with the chair.
I had reported this to customer care and it was said that by 9th Aug, the chair that was delivered would be picked up and a refund would be issued to me. I had followed multiple times till 9th Aug for it and always the response was to wait till the promised pickup date. And the day came but the package was not picked up, again to my surprise now, the refund request was automatically canceled stating the seller's replacement policy. I called multiple times to customer care and tried explaining the issue, but it seems like they don't understand the customer's issue and instead just give standard responses.
After failing there, I requested a replacement then, (thought at least I should have a correct and complete chair worth 15k). A replacement request was raised and again I followed multiple times. I had even messaged on Facebook to Flipkart, thinking that they would help me in resolving the issue. I was promised a pickup date of 19th Aug then and a replacement. Again the promised date passed and nothing happened.
I again started messaging and calling customer care, and now to add to my surprise I was informed that the pickup request was not generated due to some technical issue. I was asked to wait again. Then today someone from Flipkart's social media team called and said that she is canceling the current replacement request and will raise another one and will get back to me. I was so disappointed then that words can't explain my feeling and emotions.
And again in the evening, I got an email stating that the seller will not be replacing the product. I have no words to say.
I have a few questions: -
1) How come Flipkart from being such a wonderful eCommerce marketplace is now proving such a terrible customer experience?
2) Shall I forget my 15k and keep that incomplete and different chair as a reminder that never shows from this app now, as they can deliver anything and will leave the incorrect product?
3) Already 20 days are gone, shall I wait more than 1 month or a year maybe for a proper resolution?
Flipkart customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
