Dear Sir,
I Have purchased VU Tv from flipkart with complete TV protection Plan for 3years on jan 2021.
In Jan'2022 I have observed the following issues in TV
1. Earlier when I bought TV I used to watch movies through external hard disk & recently when I have used same hard disk it is not getting recognized.
2. Screencast from Mobile phone is not working i.e, TV is not getting identified for casting while searching from mobile phone.
3. While watching any Program, TV is getting hanged & restarting/going to home screen with out remote usage.
Same compliant has been raised to FLIPKART & its PARTNER JEEVES SUPPORT on JAN 11 2022.
After rigorous follow up FLipkart service team informed that they are about to replace motherboard of TV (" after raising 3 complaints with JEEVES & 1 with FLIPKART & earlier complaints were closed without any response and intimation to me")
On 14th FEB 2022 a new motherboard was brought by the service personnel, while replacement I observed that the motherboard which is to be replaced is not the exact replacement & I objected for replacement. So same was taken back.
On 25th FEB 2022 Motherboard was replaced & at the same time TV has been checked for resolution of raised issues then in presence of service representative the following issues were observed
A. External Hard disk is getting recognised but after sometime an error is displayed " It's parsing this folder, please wait" this is there for 30min until TV got restarted by service person.
B. After restarting the files in EXTERNAL HARD DISK SHOWN earlier (i.e in s.no A above) are also not showing & same error in S.No A is displayed.
C. Screen cast from mobile also connected from my phone & then service person also connected from his mobile for checking purpose. After checking when I tried to connect my phone back, in notifications it is showing that it is connected but in display of TV it is not showing/casting & same with service person mobile also.
D. TV got restarted 3 times next day.
For all the above malfunctions, M/s. FLIPKART SERVICE or M/s. JEEVES representatives (Mr. VIKRAM & Mr. Ganeshan) have taken video recordings & photographs to repair & escalate from their office and informed me that they will next day for further checks & resolution.
After the above incident the service personnel not responded to my calls & with no option I have again raised complaint on 26th FEB 2022 to FLIPKART & JEEVES.
On 3rd Feb 2022 Mr. Ganesan has visited & informed that the External HARD DISK SHALL NOT BE USED FOR TV CONNECTIVITY & SCREENCAST WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE WITH VU TV FOR MI/MOTOROLA/SAMSUNG Phones and the above complaints are baseless & cannot be resolved.
I didn't understand 1 thing from above statement he himself witnessed the connectivity of EXTERNAL HARD DISK to TV & is getting recognised and watched 1 video for checking purpose & same for screen cast also.
After 1.5 hour argument with him & their technical support they opted for again replacement of MOTHERBOARD.
STILL I AM AT THEIR DISPOSAL FOR RESOLUTION. I HAVE DOUBT WHETHER I AM THE CUSTOMER TO THEM OR FLIPKART/JEEVES ARE THE CUSTOMERS TO ME.
I am completely fed up with improper TV functionality & their service. Daily I have been chasing for resolution & raised around 45 mails to M/s. JEEVES for resolution.
The service technician himself informed that these complaints cannot be resolved & if you require you can raise another complaint so that he will visit once again & close issue as resolved. He also suggested to stop raising complaints & sell the TV.
As per purchased complete TV Protection plan, the following were the clauses that I find as resolution
1. there is a BREACH of TAT (Turnaround time for repair completion):
as complaint was raised on 11th Jan'2022 & till today repair is not completed.
2. IF repair is not possible refund shall be provided:
technician himself informed that it cannot be repaired.
I humbly request you to lodge a complaint on FLIPKART for selling faulty products, bad customer service & JEEVES for BREACH of contract of TV Protection plan. Further I request you to provide the refund as contract of TV PROTECTION PLAN.
NOTE: I HAVE MAIL'S OF COMMUNICATION WITH M/s. JEEVES, PHOTOGRAPHS OF TV ERRORS & VIDEO'S OF TV MALFUNCTIONS. DUE TO WEBSITE TECHNICAL ERRORS I COULDN'T LINK AS ATTACHMENTS.
