I bought Adidas shoes from Flipkart and they were delivered to me on Feb 25, 2022. I have raised a request to return as the size was not matching on the same day and I got a confirmation email (Request ID :[protected]) and the expected date of pick-up was on March 8, 2022.
However, when I checked the status in the Flipkart app today, it mentioned that the return was cancelled on March 5, 2022. I didn't have any communication, why it got cancelled.
When I contacted Flipkart support team, they mentioned that it could be due to some unforeseen circumstances or issue with the courier and now the product cannot be returned as it's beyond the return window.
My questions:
1. How did the return get cancelled even without my consent
2. Why no information/communication was given to me when the return got cancelled
3. Why the consumer/customer have to be penalised for the mistakes of Flipkart or courier
4. What I have to do with the shoes, which is not useful
