My concern being Flipkart customer care does not have any means to connect with logistics team in case of emergencies once the order is shipped, this obviously affects the end customer.
This is regarding my order with flipkart for Iphone 13 pro max. The day i was supposed to receive the order, i missed flipkart calls in the morning (not sure if these were calls from flipkart or logistics), tried connecting back to the number and i couldn't, spoke to customer care representatives multiple times but to no use obviously hence the complaint here, they just kept telling me that i will get logistics details once the order is out for delivery, by the evening the delivery date changed to 2 days later, and i was going to leave the city for a month or so on that day. I needed to speak to someone from logistics and get a confirmation on the delivery plan so that i can manage my schedule or will not have to stick to my phone the next day so that i do not miss the call again. The concern being no out for delivery message was received on the delivery day so that i can connect with logistics directly and no further attempts were made to connect with me. Not sure how things would go if I missed the call on next delivery day as the customer care was completely useless on this matter. Flipkart please add some connectivity between customer care and logistics so that they can be helpful to customers, i understand when they say it will be delivered the next day but what if the call is missed the next day as well, or the customer is unavailable.
