Order ID - OD[protected]
I had ordered Michael kors analog watch amounting to Rs.19, 995 from Flipkart on, Dec 5
2021. On December 11, 2021, the order was delivered and I received a different model of the Michael kors.
Immediately I raised the return request but there was no response from the customer service team. I contacted the customer care executive and they shared me a link through message to upload my personal ID proof and images of received product. On the same day itself I uploaded the ID and images trusting the company. On further contact they told me to wait 48 hrs for the update. After 48 hours, I did not receive any update, and hence I contacted them and the executive told me the return will be approved on 14th December afternoon. On 14th as there was still no update, I contacted the customer care executive and he explained that the reason mentioned for the return ie different product received is not enough for the approval, he suggested he could help and cancelled the existing return request from their side and placed a new return request, and asked me to wait for another 48 hours. After 1 hour I received a call and message from flipkart saying you need to print and fill an FIR filing consent inorder to proceed with the return. Unless you don't share this consent form of FIR your return request will be denied it seems.
Flipkart is forcing me to share my personal confidential documents (Aadhar card, Voter ID, Driver's license) . If the Seller and Flipkart have delivered different product, why are they demanding to share confidential documents for their own faults? Nowhere in their returns policy have they asked the customer to provide the ID proof to process the return request. So, why are they asking me to provide the same? Still I shared thinking they would resolve, but they are just dragging.
And above that, why is Flipkart demanding me to sign a consent form to lodge FIR for a missing Laptop/Mobile? I had ordered for a watch, not a Mobile/Laptop. And why should I sign?
Flipkart is causing me too much of mental stress and discomfort, they are not at all cooperating with the customer to solve this problem. They just want to prolong the issue so that customer will drop it off.
I want Flipkart to -
1. Process my return request.
2. Send a refund of the amount paid Rs.19 995 or replacement.
