I received the phone on the 5th of August. After using it for some time, I realized that it is getting heated and without much usage, the battery is draining very fast. This was very abnormal in a flagship phone for which I am paying such a high amount.

I have purchased the phone, made the payment & also give my old phone in exchange. All the above means that I am a genuine buyer & wanted the phone for self-use. But with this kind of issues upfront, I cant use this phone for long. Since I have given my old phone, I have no phone with me in a decent working condition which is giving me a lot of issues.
I made a return request & the technical person came for testing the product.
His parameters were beyond my understanding but he denied any fault in the product. My main problem is the battery getting drained way too fast and the phone getting heavily heated up during phone calls of more than 10-15 mins. His way of measurement was to keep the phone on video for 15 mins and then measuring the issues. According to him, the phone should drain 15% in a 15 mins video then only he would count for a battery issue.
But my issue is not with the video but rather phone calls which he didn’t test for. If according to him, the phone should have drained beyond 15% in 15 mins then would the phone drain at 1% per 1 minute?
Which means that in 100 mins, the phone's battery would be dead?
I have seen the specs & was impressed by the quality promised.
But since I have not received the quality product, I want to return the same. My original budget to buy the phone was less than half of what I have paid but I purchased this phone only because Oppo claimed all the features and Flipkart assured the quality under the "Flipkart Assured" section.
But I am very disappointed with the product, the feedback, the customer service and my overall experience. I have wasted a lot of my time trying to return this product. From 7th August to 11th August, I have been trying everything to return this product because I don’t want to use such a pathetic quality product.
I am highly upset with Flipkart. There is no customer support that can actually resolve my issue. All the customer executives failed to not only resolve my issue but also give me no solution. The helpline mentioned on the website - [protected], isn’t working and whenever I call on the helpline it says that there is some technical issue. All customer care executives that I have spoken to are junior executives and they cannot solve such problems. Whenever they transfer my call to the senior executive, the call automatically drops.
Till 11th August, 4:05 PM itself I have made 33 call requests on the customer care asking for the solution.
At the end -
1. I have no spare phone.
2. I have wasted so much of my time.
3. I have had to take so much trouble because of this product.
4. Poorest customer experience on Flipkart.
5. Helpline number has technical issues.
6. No executive was able to solve my issue.
7. All of my money is wasted.
8. I have a product that I don’t want to use.
9. I don’t trust the platform anymore and would never buy anything from Flipkart.
My phone replacement period ends on 12th August after which the platform wouldn’t give me the option to take any further steps.
Buying this product from Flipkart has caused so much trouble that no one could ever imagine. I blame Flipkart and Oppo for all the mental trouble that they have caused and would pray to God that this doesn’t happen with anyone else.
