I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with a recent order I placed through Flipkart. Order ID: OD[protected] . However, when the package arrived on 02 Sept 2023, I was shocked to find that the contents did not match my order. Instead of receiving the item as per the specification in the attached image.Since it was an open box delivery I have returned the item to the delivery partner and I immediately contacted Flipkart customer support via phone also and I was assured that this issue would be resolved promptly. I was informed that a replacement for the correct item would be sent.However, since that initial conversation, I have not received any updates or communication regarding the status of my replacement order. I have generated a ticket regarding the same through Flipkart app and then I have initiated a call. The customer care executive told me that the return was not updated in the system and so they will now forward this complaint. This situation has caused me significant inconvenience, frustration, and financial loss, as I have paid for a product I did not receive and still do not have the item I ordered. Also today installation team had contacted me for installing the fridge and I have conveyed them that the item is not yet received.
Today I have again contacted Flipkart customer care and they have put me on hold in several calls which last around 4 hrs and still the issue was unresolved .If my issue is not addressed promptly and satisfactorily, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further through consumer protection agencies and social media platforms.I trust that Flipkart values its customers and will take this complaint seriously.
