Updated by Sayan23Mitra So someone from the Flipkart social media team called me up, stating they are refunding for the missing product, but was unable to do so as according to them the bank account (A) wasn't accepting refund for some reason, to which i stated maybe the previous customer care executive jotted the account details wrong, even though i personally wrote down the exact details in the chat, to which she asked if I could provide an alternative bank acc. details, which I did, then she said she was facing some technical issues so she shall call me back after 5mins,
yet no one called but,
but surprisingly the order page got updated as refund processed to Bank A itself(which was never rectified by the executive, incase it was inputted incorrectly by them) & shall take 24hours,
To which I didn't bother much,
as never had i ever had faced any hassle with flipkart CC service before,
but again to my disbelief,
few hours later
got this odd text stating:
Refund Update: The refund of Rs. xyz for your order ODxyz will now be attempted via NEFT as it couldn't be done through IMPS. The amount will be credited to your account within 5 business days. You'll receive an email and SMS with the refund reference number shortly.
First off,
its ICICI BANK, which does support IMPS,
& I myself have made/received transfers via IMPS before in my day to day life,
So it has got to be incorrect bank details written by your executive,
even though i wrote the correct info within the first complaint chat regarding this issue,
In that case,
no one ever called to rectify the error,
or even asked for a different bank details(albeit call me back, after 5mins, after that technical issue)
while instead
again its sent on a loop of 5days.
Please sort it asap,
can even call me up to confirm the bank details.
