Hi Team,
Ranjit Baidya ordered a Ford Ecosport, diesel variant(manual platinum edition), from one of your showrooms in Silchar. We had fixed a delivery date of 16th September 2017 and the dealer was also notified the same.The dealer confirmed us that the car is available as per our need and that we can take the delivery as per the decided date.
We have made all the arrangements for the travel to Silchar tomorrow as we are not natives of Silchar. The delivery executive called us this morning and informed us that the car has certain technical issues and cannot be delivered tomorrow. Was he sleeping for the whole week?
This is really not acceptable on my behalf and I believe that Ford is answerable to me regarding this.
I want the matter to be escalated and prompt action be taken on it else I will to have to knock the doors of consumer forum.

    I not happy with the mileage what i am getting presently only 15 kmpl.
    Very poor milage in my vehicle ford ecosport.
    No response from ford for my concern.
    I am totally disappointed
    I thought ford focus on customer satisfaction but not even taken my concern to slove my issue.
    Turst gone..
    Exchange and give new one.

      In my last e-mail dated 4th september 2017, i had taken pains to bring to your notice the shortcomings of your service workshop at patiala so that such like experiences are not suffered by other gullible 'valued' customers of yours.
      I understand it may not possible to refund me the money fleeced by bhagat ford, patiala but curtsy demands that you be honest enough to acknowledge my letter, irrespective whether you agree or do not agree with contents. Any way i have done my bid as customer and its up to ford india to prevent slide in service standards of workshops particularly in cities of lower classification and semi-urban areas.

      Dear sir,

      Sequel to my last communication dated 29 aug 2017, i had taken my vehicle to harpreet ford workshop, moti nagar new delhi-110015 for re-inspection on[protected].

      My complain to workshop was ' vehicle very noisy specially when running at low gear or at slower speed, exactly similar to one i made at patiala. (No mention was made about pms and repair work done at bhagat ford workshop at patiala).

      The vehicle was taken out for road test by service engineer and after rudimentary visual inspection o[censored]nderbelly at workshop i was told that engine mounting pads are damaged and so are fan belts ; rear right tyre is damaged (Source of noisy flutter); i was also told that there may be some problem with wheel bearing but can only be confirmed after opening it up. Thereafter a detailed inspection was carried out by the service engineer and mechanics, a list of essential and non-essential repairs was prepared along with, all inclusive cost estimate for my approval and final preparation of job card (Invoice attached for ready reference). Vehicle was finally handed over to me at around 1700 hrs on clearance of bill totaling rs.13580/-. On my way back, i replaced the defective tyre with a new one and was pleased to return home fully satisfied with no regrets of spending rs.20, 980/- (Incl cost of two replaced tyres). Ride home was cushion smooth with no external or internal noise to distract. The harpreet ford did a thorough professional job. I wonder why such sequence was not followed by bhagat ford patiala. It could have saved me dual repairs and cost, not to mention harassment and mental agony.

      This is no letter of appreciation but a comparative statement of two ford workshops. Personnel of all levels at ford workshops are expected to maintain high technical understanding and no sweet glib talk to lull the faith of customers and win them. Harpreet ford workshop lived upto the former ie quality of reliability wheras bhagat ford workshop at patiala was not found wanting in later attribute with a total unreliabity lackadaisical attitude coupled with technical competence no better than roadside garage.
      With no visual link from well appointed customers waiting lounge to working bay in patiala workshop of ford one may wonder whether jobs listed in job card are actually carried out specially when it comes to replacement of "defective" parts. Replaced parts were not returned to me as is practice.
      No local purchase procedures were followed; floor manager claimed to have purchased and fitted a new rear wheel bearing and a controller, charging rs.2300/- in cash from me. This has not been recorded in invoice even after my insistance. This speaks volumes about ethics and scruples prevalent in bhagat ford patiala.
      Finally i would say, my faith in ford service stations had been badly shaken which has been salvaged to some extent by harpreet ford workshop at moti bhagat new delhi. However depending upon your response i maybe constrained to approach consumer's forum for harassing an ex-serviceman and a senior citizen.

        My vhical no mp 04 c. F. 3862. I have take insistence clame before one and half month sai for bhopal but body shop does not checked lower probation due to this starring ball joint loose but dealer is not responding problem detected at the time of servicing
        2. On the consurn of sai ford bhopal vhical went sainath ford indore due water inning problem at the time of receiving front wind shield damaged from dealer
        Ford india also not responding. So if i don't want solve my problem then i am ready to go for leagle

          I purchased ford figo from varanasi (Gsr motors). After the first service the mileage of the car reached 9 km/ltr. Since i was using it for commercial purpose this was a big concern for me. I contacted ford and they replied that it will improve in 2nd service.

          At time of 2nd service, my car horn was not working properly and was defected.in spite of replacing it they did desi jugad. After this service mileage become worse. They gave me test drive on highway and showed me that mileage is 27. But this was beyond my imagination as in city the car remained to give average mileage of 9km. Moreover when i reached service center they rudely denied giving any facility to me.in their view i was a ordinary driver, not an hni customer.

          At present horn is malfunctioning and mileage is 10 km and irritating behavior of gsr ford is stopping me to contact them.

          I have emailed to ford india also, but no reply received. There is no other service center in varanasi. I have started hating ford.

          Please help me.

            I m having car eco sport while driving from karnal to panipat my car hit on a stone and left conductor side front alloy wheal, tyre, fender and bumber get damaged.               Hi, this is jai prakash ray, i had booked a commercial ford figo aspire in february and i was informed that it will take maximum of 60 days to get the offer letter at the cost of 17000 rs. And 5000 for booking amount. After 60 days they could not provide the offer letter then cancelled the booking and i was refunded with 17000 rs. But for 5000 rs. Of booking amount, they are just playing with me for last 5 months. They are not doing anything about that.
              Can you please help me with that?

I went there several times but all in vein as they seem to be least bothered

                Hello sir,

                I have purchased two ford figo cars from astro ford dwarka, new delhi in july & november 2014.

                The car, which is purchased in november 2014 is start to rust internally from four to five

                Diffrent points of body. The rust appears to come from the base of paint from doors and boot area.

                Please do the needful as i kept my car in good covered parking area and my all servicing is done at your authorised ford centers.

                I have mailed to [protected]@ford.com but they come up with solution that rust will be scrubbed out and re painting will be done at effected areas and for that work i have to pay half of bill.

                But this type of work... Is just patching up of problematic areas and in my view point complete paint is removed and re-painting of car should be done after replacing the effected areas.

                  When i drive my ford figo at any speed which is more then40 and if apply brake to slowdown my seed then engine suddenly got stopped while applying brake and clutch. If i leave the clutch then again my car engine starts. Between this incident steering locked and brake gets hard to apply.
                  Mene bahot baar complaint kia par ye resolve nahi ho parahi hai. Kidly suggest.
                  I have ford figo titanium 1.4tdci 2012 model.

                    I gave my ford ecosport mh02ek o638 to kavish ford workshop.. Car was not working due to recent flood issue in mumbai... Car was given to. Them on sunday 3rd sept n today even after 4 days (7th sept) i didnt get a single call regarding status of my car.

                    I have been calling them since last 2 days but everytime i call the receptionist gives me. Different reasons n faulty committments that someone. Will call me but all in vain.

                    In the era of prompt & excellent post sell service this kind harrasing treatment to the costumer is not expected from the international brand like ford.

                    A customer who is already frustrated by non working car n damage by natural calmity is harrased even more by ford kavish workshop

                    I expect atleast one call informing status of my car that was given 4 days before... Am i expecting tooo much???

                      Dear sir,

                      This is to bring to your kind notice that i own the above registration no. Ford figo car, which i gave at ganges ford workshop, tangra for servicing and few other faults along with an insurance claim.

                      Apart from the insurance claim, the following points were there to be rectified:-
                      1) annual servicing with brake checking.
                      2) car was shaking,
                      3) rain water or any other water was going inside the car from back side, which was rectified last year but still the problem remained.
                      4) there was a sound in the wheels.

                      On 16th august, 2017 they delivered the car to me but it was not starting up at their garage gate due to battery fault. So they kept the car for inspection and reported me next day evening the battery has gone dead. This was the two year warranty battery which i had purchased from them during april 2016 due to load problem. Now, they change it to a one year warranty battery instead of a two year warranty battery, which was of low grade.

                      On 18th august, 2017 finally they delivered the car at my home, but that day after 3 hours i reported mr. Pritam singh who was looking after my car, that apart from point number one listed above all other problems are still existing. I wanted to contact mr. Rajat, but i failed. After a week, at last i contacted mr. Rajat and discussed with him. Mr. Lahiri (G m) also contacted me after reporting my complain. On 1st september, 2017, again i told mr. Rajat that rain water was again coming inside the car. Then, he told me nest week they will pickup my car for checking i. E., on 4th september onwards, because that is a discounted period, but no one contacted me yet. I want to know that why i have to pay for the same service again & again.

                      They have billed me a whooping amount of rs. 15, 374/-, but at the end all the problems are persisting.

                      I have changed last year august brake pad. Again i have changed the same in a year where i have not run my car over 6500 km. Why i have to change my car’s battery every year. I want to know is ford india supplying so-cheep parts that are not persisting for even a year or less for which we have to pay again & again.

                      I thought of purchasing another ford car but now i am thinking otherwise and convey all of my friends and would talk to the media.

                      Hope you will look into the matter and act at your earliest and inform me.

                        I bought a ford ecosport titanium+ from the for dealer, tanis ford, sohna road, gurgaon. The dealer showed us titanium+ and also provided the brochure with all the specifications and details of titanium+ to us. I immediately paid the full cost of this model of the vehicle on 29th aug.2017 and took the possession of the vehicle on 1st sept.2017. To my surprise the vehicle does not have the facility of rear view camera. Neither i was informed of this omission nor the dealer and the manager able to explain why the rear view camera was not fixed in the car. The rear view camera was part of the specifications indicated in the brochure, website and the deal promised by the dealer tanish ford. I have been charged for the rear-view camera but this devise was not fitted into the vehicle i took delivery on 31st aug.2017.
                        I was surprised and shocked to realize that the rear view camera which was promised for which ford india has charged me was not fitted in the vehicle delivered to me and no proper and valid reason given for such omission. I was also not informed this omission till i noticed after the delivery of the vehicle to me. This feature/ devise is available in top models of all other brands and manufactures of car and i am so surprised that the so called well known ford car manufacturer is not able to provide this feature.in fact i bought the ford ecosport titanium+ because of this particular feature and devise. If i had known that this feature was missing/ not provided, i would not have bought this vehicle.
                        The act of ford motors and their agent tanish ford is unethical, unlawful and fraud committed to their customers. Indeed, it's a criminal breach of trust. I want ford india and/ or tanish ford to fix the rear view camera in my car or pay the cost of this devise to me, which is included in the total cost of the vehicle.
                        Has any of the responsible person in ford motors or tanish ford would have the courtesy to respond and resolve this issue? Please remember i do have all the legal course of action against ford motors and their agent tanish ford.

                          Recently while on travel in the city of raipur (Chhatisgarh) my car suddenly stopped in the middle of the city road. Then i called up the ford showroom dealer of raipur by name g. K. Ford raipur and told him the problem over telephone. After sometime one agent of r. K. Ford came to my car place and took my car to his showroom and also told me to return to my house as he will inform me over telephone about my car problem. After some days he called me and told that my cars engine belt has been damaged and needs replacement. I quickly went to the showroom only to find out that nothing was wrong with my car engine belt and it was fine. Then the dealer told me that they have replaced the belt with a new one and require rs. 1, 00, 000/- more to make my car alright. I took some photos of the belt and asked him that why did not he show us the damaged belt before replacing it for which he could not answer us. My car was purchased on 31/01/2016 and is under warranty period the why should i pay rs.100000/- for the same. It is indeed cheating from customer point of view that even after coverage under warranty period dealer asks customer to pay for it. Please look into the matter and try to solve it on urgent basis before my self going to consumer court.

                            I called ford coustomer car at 6 pm today as my car stopped while driving from panvel towards kharghar, i my car didn't go through any water logged area as i
                            I was in navi mumbai a today, till 7 pm i did not get call from any road side a assistant not any towing can came to help me in mid of highway near mgm hospital till 7.45 pm i was aassured some one is coming i for help but i when finally i did not get help so called a local towing service who took 1200 rs from kalamboli to kharghar, while the towing vehicle came ford road side service informs me that i should drop the car at garage which is in turbe or panvel and was very far from there if i don't do i will not get any reimbursement of the towing amount. My car no is mh01 ch 4715 and ford road side assistance service ticket no is[protected] after coming home also i called at 10 pm and i was assured some one will call but no one called and there is no water logging in any area in navi mumbai, if road side assistance team is such lethargic not responsible not efficient how can ford claim family wali feeling and has improved service delivery in india.

                              I always use ford vehicle only. Now 75, 000. Km completed
                              Service center engineer told now timing tensioner and idler to be replace condition and cost rs.3400, 2600 it is correct and also engine problem
                              Came. As per your advertisement five years maintenance cost per year
                              Approximately 4000.00. So kindly clarify us and advice to your service ceter

                              the main compliant Air conditioner low cooling. before one week i have drop the car to kumaran automobiles service center in nagercoil for service. they are taken one week time. after they show the total bill Rs.37500.00. this is the bad service and very high bill.

                              so kindly inform to your service center. kindly make the reasonable bill.

                                I chatted with ford's live chat.. Asked simple question.. Where can i buy ford original parts in mumbai.. I got a link in reply.. I opened he link.. And guess what.. No authorized spare part dealer in mumbai.. Am asked to go to nearest dealer. That is pune.. 200 km away... And what the hell, i did not know mumbai is a village when it comes to buy ford original part.. A mumbaikar has to go to pune to buy one.. Wow... Am enlightened...
                                The guy then says, "we regret inconvenience caused to you...".. Is this some kind of a joke??? Mr. Ford...???
                                Well you are playing a very risky game here, by making sure customer has to come to service centres even after warranty period.. Make no mistake.. 4th is may be working in short term, there won't be much time before more and more ford owners are aware of your mischief... Wake up until there is time..

                                  Happy you may be on your rising sales in india, but that might be just be matter of few days, thanks to your pathetic after sales and customer service experience. Especially when the car ages beyond your warranty period.

                                  I greatly regret my unfortunate decision today, for decision i took to own ford car.

                                  I don't have complains about cars performance, it's very satisfying to ride a ford car, but when it comes to repairs, then the overall satisfaction level drop below negative. Here are few past and recent examples -

                                  1. Coolant thermostat broke down. I go to nearest service centre, which is 70 km, near pune. They simply deny giving me the part. I have to tow my car to service centre and leave it there. Car is delivered next day. I am strangled in unknown place, whereas i could have fixed the car in matter of hours with help of local mechanic, if i could have got the part. Note, i had the rc book and chasis number with me.

                                  2. Drive belt and pulley breaks - i had to call road assistance. They come from 150 km far, very grateful for that. But tell me they don't have few necessary parts to fix to car fully. They advice to tow, 150 km to their service centre. Still fine, i love this car, i hear it and go to the service centre (Kolhapur, mah). Car is fixed, but with the experience, i ask for spare drive belt, just in case it ever breaks again.. Denied... Straight on my face..

                                  3. Day before yesterday - outskirts of mumbai - radiator leaks, coolant is emptied. I have to take local mechanic's help to put temporary fix the leak. I drive my family home safe. Yesterday, i call nearest service centre (Sc ford kandiwali west mumbai). I am quoted a price for the part. Part not available, but i ask the total cost with labor, am asked to come down to service centre for details.
                                  Today, i visit personally, the front desk device is kind enough to take me to spare part counter. I ask the price, i am quoted a different price than what i heard on phone, almost 50% high. Ok, may be that is with taxes, i ask for part availability, not available. And before i could ask anything further, "but we dont sale part at counter, you will have to bring your car in..", says the person on counter. This literally pissed me off, this is consistent. I still follow the process and escalate to manager. He does take me to counter again, but does nothing, just gives me bit more information and repeats the exact same words...
                                  And wait, i never said i want the part, my car was standing right at your gate and ready go be taken in. I just stay a km away from the new service centre shifted recently in my locality.

                                  Are you the same ford company who promise their customers on television ads, "we quote the price and you pay it".. And in reality quote different prices on same day?

                                  Are you the same ford company, who again boast about providing original parts to customer on counter, and then straight deny them on the face? Of course your business profits from labor charges more than parts, but you would not help the customer who is genuinely strangled at the road side and insist to bring (Tow) down the car to service centre?

                                  I had planned to book a new ford eco sport in coming sep 2017, and also keep my existing ford fiesta for my parents. But today's experience along with few earlier ones has seriously made me rethink.

                                  Wake up mr. Ford, and have a closer look at your after sales and services. This is only reason you may get killed in india in span of just 5 years, in spite of your wonderful cars you have engineered so far. Or some mr tata may buy your ford unit as they did with your "jaguar", really hope this happens, which will mean good sales service along with a good car.

                                  Here are my details - in case you really care and want to cross verify each of above instances. I can give the dates and receipts of each of them. Or use my details below and find it yourself in your records, you will find it consistent.

                                    We brought new ford aspire car and we were come for 1st servicing in freedom ford nanded there we had a bad service there, there staff is misbehaving with us name called prashant dhavale. And we are not allowed in the hall of servicing i want to see my car how they service or check the car or what they did in servicing. Prashant dhavale he not even asked us for a glass of water or tea. And car washed with water only not with foam and said your car has washed. And i saw mud on n doors.

                                      I always use ford vehicle only. Now 75, 000. Km completed
                                      Service center engineer told now timing tensioner and idler to be replace condition and cost rs.3400, 2600 it is correct and also engine problem
                                      Came. As per your advertisement five years maintenance cost per year
                                      Approximately 4000.00. So kindly clarify us and advice to your service ceter

                                        My vehicle ecosport (Tn 11 w 6153) met with an accident on 1st june 2017 and after completing all formalities the vehicle was towed and bought to hans ford, chennai on 22nd june and the paper work along with insurance claim was done on 23rd june. The repair work started on 26th june and it took them more than 1 month to complete the work and the bill was taken on 30th july 2017. Once surveyor from insurance company wanted to re-inspect the replaced old parts, the service advisor from body shop: arun took more than 3 weeks for arranging the parts for re-inspection on 17th august and surveyor queried for the few parts are missing and service neglected and sent the final bill to the insurance company.

                                        1. Around 20 old parts which are replaced with new are not shown for re-inspection to the surveyor.
                                        2. The cost of those are around! 5000/- which i have to pay even if i had an full bumper to bumper insurance
                                        3. Still the vehicle is having navigation system issues and its not fixed
                                        4. The date for delivery of the vehicle is kept postponing
                                        5. Re - arranging of old parts for re-inspection is not done.

                                        The general manager from service & service manager are not responsive in anyway and are avoiding me at all times during showroom visits and also over the calls

                                        Solution: make sure complete parts which are replaced are covered under insurance as said during the sale of vehicle
