Hi Sir,

We were very happy and proud customers of Ford till last month.

The actual values and customer friendliness of Ford(atleast the customer care) has comeout only when our car started giving trouble.

We purchased our Ford classic 2012 model on October 30th 2012 from Elite Ford Bangalore. At the time of purchase as per the marketing person's(name Pooja) suggestion we have opted for an extended warranty of 3 years by paying 7999/- which is an extension of the default manufacturing warranty of one year.

Now around a month back our vehicle suddenly stopped accelerating and the LCD display for km on the instrument cluster has gone blank.

First time vehicle has been serviced at Elite Ford and concluded the problem is with PCM, they have done the PCM programming(charged around 1500 bucks) and delivered the vehicle, but the car is stopped on our way back to home itself. This time its serviced at Metro Ford and again PCM programming(charging the same amount again) is done.

After 20 days again the vehicle is stopped with the same problem and now the conclusion is to change the ABS module.

ABS module costs around 58k and we thought o[censored]tilizing our extended warranty and showed the copy to dealer for module replacement.

As there was a wrong VIN entry by Elite ford at the time of purchase, metro ford could not figure out the extended warranty copy in their database and they helped us in contacting India Ford for their assistance. But instead of helping us they were trying to escape from the warranty coverage

We spoke with one of the Ford team member called Senthil over phone, his multiple answers to escape are
1. First he tried to blame the Elite Ford Management for the wrong entry.
2. Next he said there was no such extended warranty option at that time(attached copy clearly shows an extended warranty coverage of 3 years).
3. Next time he said 3 years of extended warranty is already expired as 2012 is the first year, 2013 - 2nd year, 2014 - 3rd year, 2015 - 4th year(seriously I want to teach him mathematics atleast the subtraction part of it). If a vehicle is purchased on Oct 30th 2012 how the warranty gets over by 3 1/2 years.
4. Lastly, though the extended warranty document says 36 months for the payment of 7999/-, he is arguing that it is 2 years of default manufacturing warranty + one year of extended warranty, I don't know(I believe even he doesn't know) why the hell extended warranty purchase document speaks about the manufacturing warranty duration

We don't know how to reach the top management in this regard, could someone hare please help me out on how to proceed.

    I had purchased Ford FIGO four years back. After completing 60000 kms run I had sent the car for servicing. After servicing the problems started. First the mileage which was 20 KMS per Km reduced to 13 Kms. When I complained here at the showroom. the response was very pathetic and the answer was that they are not responsible for it. After paying money for it, they rectified the problem. Now when vehicle developed the sound while driving, I approaced again the showroom. They again said me to pay 3500/- for bearing problem int he front left wheel. I asked why the problem is persisting, the answer totally surprised me. The adviser at showroom says this will be routine now. After 60000 kms the problems will be regular. I wanted to change my car with another model of ford. But now I have decided to change the brand. Horrible servicing conditions and the attitude of the people at servicing has made me to take this decision. I request all no to opt for FORD.

      I purchase ford figo titanium on July 2015 and now it creates proble driving time. While I drive then there interior make to much noise, all doors and dashboard makes noise like there is lots of coins and screw inside dashboard. I am totally rusted to take this car.

        I have serviced my ford ikon car at talera ford service station at nigdi pune.
        My issue was that, car engine looses power when i downshift the gears.
        First time the technical team of service station changed a sensor named as g sensor which cost me around 5000 rs they informed me the issue has been sorted out. I took the car and drive it for around 15-20 kms the problem occurred agian. I called the service station and the reply was awesome " tow the car, we can't help you". Anyway a drive the car again to service station they took the charge and told me that they will inspect the car again. After 2 days they called me and said that they need to change each and every thing, the price was stated so high that i can buy a royal enfiled.

        I think so the service advisor and support staff has not been the trained.
        They don't know the solution, i agreed that i will spend the money can they give guarantee that the problem will never come back again, but still they are not confident that they can solve the issue.

        So my question is the staff educated well, that they can understand the problem ?

        Can anyone help me out ?

          I am the proud owner of the my Car and also the biggest fan of FORD, But this time I think that you may loose this customer and many others whom I wanted to provide the feedback.

          This happened because my Car has been serviced thrice and all the time I complaint about my Rear Wiper of making noise while cleaning the water and also it does not clean the water very effectively.
          every time I got a response for the supervisor who serviced my car that it does happen always in every FIGO car.

          And last time I again went to the Bodyshop of the Planet FORD in Pune at Khed Shivpur, there I met with Sachin as the Manager, I also showed to him the same Wiper and he said that the wiper is creating problem even he changed the wiper and tried to provide me the proof and it really worked.

          But when I went to planet FORD service center at Satara Road, they said that it does comes under warranty as the Wiper.

          Even my complain was not registered the last two times in there job card as well, which made me much astonished.

          I was much annoyed if that is the case then why I have not been told the same at the very first Service in that situation, I would have denied to take the delivery of the car as I received the Fault product from FORD company.

          If you want I do have each and every details for the same.

          Can you please answer my question as soon as possible.

            My name is manik reddy i buy ford figo car in 2011 June 20. after 4 years i got a problem from figo. the two front doors catches the rust automatically went and comp lent in show room but no buddy responded in mody ford Hyderabad. what i what i will do now. in the market lot of people said that this is very bad responsible with that company. we are buy that car with lot of hopes.now we are feeling shame in society. we don't under stand becose in my family we are driving since 10 years maruthi company car that now also not catches rust. what is this made by ford. to whom i meet. who solve my problem. always customer feels unhappy by this companies.please sujjest me. i want to complaint against ford company .my mobile nomber is- 91-[protected].

              I left my vehicle for periodical service on 16-Mar-2016 at Rajshree Ford, Coimbatore (Mettuplayam Branch) and I was advised that my car is in excellent condition when I took back the vehicle.

              But immediately on the next day, 17-Mar-2016 my cars torque totally drained and the Engine check warning lamp started to blink.

              I took to nearby service - Rajshree Ford, Coimbatore (Thaneerpandhal Branch) and no rectification was done rather than deleting the error code from the ECM. Then I experienced the same problem with in next 15Kms.

              Then I was advised to bring the vehicle to Rajshree Ford, Coimbatore (Mettuplayam Branch) on 18-Mar-2016. I took the vehicle immediately where I was said that the 2nd valve fuel injector has some problem and it has to be changed which costs Rs.16, 000 + Labour Charge.

              I have done all the periodical services perfectly with the same branch - Rajshree Ford, Coimbatore (Mettuplayam Branch) on time and the vehicle has hit a very low mileage of 21, 000 Kms in 4 years.

              When the vehicle was in an excellent condition on 16-Mar-2016. How could the injector get worn on the very next day that is on 17-Mar-2016?
              I can’t afford such a huge cost immediately after the periodical service which cost me Rs.4, 420/- already.

              Kindly advice me what is to be done as the problem raised only after the periodical service.

                Hi,


                I was very keen on buying the Ford Ecosport and requested for a test drive on 19/Mar/2016; however the Sales Team from the Bombay - Malad West showroom has been extremely unprofessional in their dealings.

                I requested for the test drive for Saturday - 19/Mar at 12pm & was very clear I another commitment at 2pm. A Mr. Kshore was coordinating the test drive with and assured me he would come on time and call me before setting out on Saturday for the stipulated time.

                Upon calling Mr. Kishore at 12pm on 19/Mar, he informed he was stuck tending to another customer in the showroom and hence would be delayed by 2-3 hours for the test drive.

                If a company has the provision of requesting for a test drive online, makes and confirms the commitment for test drive; but decides priority to walks-in the showroom over the prior commitments; why provide the option of booking a test drive online / calling your Sales Team.

                This clearly shows how much Ford as a company values their Customer and overall Service. Add to that the staff lacks complete sense how to talk / engage with the customer. I was also told by Mr. Kishore how he also needs time to arrange for Ecosport Automatic for the test drive as there is only one car for test drive available...I mean are you kidding me, what was the whole purpose of chalking out day / time for test drive prior?!?!?!

                Then Mr. Kishore makes tall claims as to how he will make it for test drive on Sunday 20/Mar by 11am in the morning and will call me when he sets out.

                As expected I heard from at 11am that he intends to leave now; and I tel to come ASAP. My mom and I wait for 1.5 hour, there is no sign of him. Upon calling I'm told we're on our way too much traffic. I told him I have other commitments to get to and they need come ASAP.

                Another 30mins pass no sign of them & I call again, now I'm told we're not too far & asking for directions. I tell the lady accompanying Mr. Kishore why not call me for navigation instead of causing undue delay. To that I'm told we don't want to inconvenience you.

                DO YOU REALLY UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF NOT CAUSING INCONVENIENCE?!?!?!

                Not showing up at the stipulated time on the decided day & again the following day; where we've waited 2 long hours; how much more inconvenience do you intend to cause?

                Firstly, why does Ford give the option of booking online test drive if you only give priorities to walk-ins? You clearly don't value your Customers and their time.
                Secondly, can you hire staff that has understanding of engaging with Customers?

                I am from Bombay and it does not take over 2 hours on a Sunday morning to get from Malad to Wadala West. Additionally, I'm well aware of this fact as that is my daily work commute. I finally told the Sales staff to come ASAP, as I have a condolence service to make it for.

                Since I couldn't wait any longer I asked to cancel the test drive, as I'm totally put of with Ford's idea of getting new customers on board and this experience has completely ensure I never buy a Ford car.

                I certainly don't intend buying a Ford car anymore, cause of the Customer Service experience with your company. You have employed a bunch of in your Sales Team who no regard for your Customers.

                Most horrible experience & least expected from a brand like FORD...

                  Hello Team,

                  Finally you n your team got time today to reply to my email dated 5 March almost 15 days later that also after so many reminder mails and calls.

                  Is this is kind of service you are providing?

                  Your customer service representatives have no idea how to deal with customers. They are very rude and do not have etiquettes to talk especially Mr. Sarvan and Mr. Sudalaiyandi. When I asked to transfer my call to concern team and higher manager who can solve my problem, they said " You are wasting your time and no one is there in office to address your concerns."

                  I seriously want this issue to be escalated to higher management. This issue is unnecessarily taking so much of my valuable time, which can be handled and solved in proper way.

                  I want proper justification of all this which is happening and my time which is getting wasted on unwanted customer care call for hours and repeating same words again and again.

                  Also customer care many times put my call on hold and then also come up with no result. They also disconnected my call without any intimation while I was on hold.

                  Worst customer care service provided to customers who called to solve the issue.

                  Is this the reason we have customer care. Better shut this pathetic service.

                  Mr. Naseer was to reply after discussion with me in three to four days as I mentioned in below mails but still no reply on mail.

                  Now its high time and I want my compensation whatever was discussed with Mr. Naseer.

                  Whatever is to be done intimate me ASAP.

                  Kindly take this issue seriously. Already requested you so many times.

                    I, nishant bakshi, am deeply disappointed the way my new ecosport has been behaving. I purchased my car on 23 feb 2016 and the new car was delivered with defects. It took me a lot of pain to get it rectified. A week later another disappointing act has happened that my ecosport has toppled and during this course when breaks were applied no abs function took place as a result vehicle kept on moving and banged the near by area and top. I have landed my vehicle to talera ford, pune using road side assistance. The concern there has told that whatever happens your vehicle will not be delivered back before 2-3 months. This accident has minorly injured one of the co-passenger and i will blame non functioning of abs. This also gives a psychological setback to me as i have been told the vehicle will not be available for months. I have been mailing and calling ford india since the day it happened but still no appreciable action has been taken.

                      I own a Ford Figo purchased on 2010 and was maintained good with all services done on time..Unfortunately I was not able to complete my service last time and it has just run 43000 KM.I was taking my kid from school all of a sudden the steering belt and timing belt got broken and I was held in the middle of the road for almost 3 hours(after informing ford service)..My vehicle number is KL09Z4705 and the incident happened on 12th Feb 2016.Yesterday(11.02.2016) I had received the card back after service from Kairali Ford, Kochi.The total cost for the same is 58000(after deducting the discounts provided).But the root cause is breakage of the belts and it was clearly told by the service engineer the same needs replacement only after 125000 KM but this is really bad experience which nobody can expect.The vehicle was used single handed and has been maintained as per the specs provided by the company.This is total dissatisfaction on the product purchased and is not expected from a company like Ford.I am hereby requesting for complete waiver and refund of the service expenses incurred in this connection at the earliest.

                        Hi,

                        I purchased EcoSport Ambient on 01/03/2016, and after one week price reduced by Rs 50K. As per your Ford dealer, price would have been increased in April 16. I am extremely disappointed and feeling cheated. This is my first Ford car and experience is very bitter. Can I expect something from Ford or should keep this for whole life and make sure not to recommend Ford cars to dear ones.

                          I would like to bring your attention regarding on serious and common problem with Ford Eco sport. The clutch become quiet harder and it is not working properly, On2.3.2016 at 7.50 am my Ford Ecosport vehicle was suddenly break down at Luz corner signal Mylapore and it was not moved.Suddenly I called Ford Road Assistance Service, the vehicle recovery van came on 6.00 pm evening and it was taken to OMR workshop of MPL cars Perungudi.After attending the fault it was told me that the clutch is damaged and it has to be replaced. I purchased car only in the year 2013.I drive my car single handed around 13000 km approximately till date .I have 10 years of driving experince and driven more. The service enginer told that clutch part is not under mechanical defect and it same will not be under warranty ( 4 years contract has been taken by me). Further the spare part ie clutch part is out of stock and it is not available now. I am senior citizen and open heard surgery done recently by me. I request you to do service early and to replace the clutch part free of cost i, e it is only mechanical defect which is covered under warranty

                            Dear Ford,

                            I bought my New Ford Figo 2015 Titanium model recently and drove for nearly 9400 kms. It is self driven.Since two days I started facing issue with clutch and after giving it for service, I was told that the clutch has to be replaced which would cost around 10, 000/-. I have been driving for last 5 years and drove many cars(Toyota Corolla, VW Polo, Swift) without any problem. I am aware that clutch problems would arise due to bad driving habits such as riding the clutch, holding the car on the clutch etc., which I would definitely would not do. I have had so much of trust on Ford for its built quality and bought this New Ford Figo even though there were several other manufacturer options to buy from. But I am really disappointed with this incident and sorry to say that I lost my trust on your quality make.

                            Please can you guys look into this issue seriously, as I am seeing so many complaint threads on clutch plates issues from Ford make. Otherwise, it will definitely cost you badly and customers will soon lose trust on your quality make and will start ignoring products from you because quality is the main thing which customer would look for in any product.

                              The MPL FORD Service Centre in kovilambakkam has Successfully completed 3 months which i have submitted my own car ford figo diesel TN 14 B 0130 after the accident ( towed by own for 25 KMS ) on Nov 2015 (1 month in Body shop, 1 month in service centre and 1 month after insurance parts arrived ), still car has been not touched by Service persons. ( i may have appreciate the persons whoever WORKING ). Now has started the 4th month...I'm Waiting... is this Legal Justice, I'm proud to be an INDIAN. by Senthilkumar. [protected]

                                I Would like to log a complain of fraud and cheating against M/s
                                Jayshree Motors Pvt Limited, Jamshedpur

                                I had bought an Eco sports Trend from M/s Jayshree Motors Pvt.
                                Ltd, Jamshedpur on 20th December, 2015, bearing Chassis no
                                & engine no: MAJAXXMRKAFT83343

                                While selling the car dealer had confirmed me that its a new car
                                with 100 PS engine. Even during test ride they had shown a 100 PS model.
                                On being delivered I got a suspicious of car being old model because
                                its wiper and indicator console units were in opposite direction.

                                All new Eco sports has Wiper on right side and indicator to left side
                                of driver. But my car has reverse setting.

                                On inquiring they told Eco Sports Trend + & Titanium (being high end
                                variants) have Wiper on right side and indicator to left side of
                                driver but as Eco Sport trend is lower end model has opposite
                                setting. On asking them to confirm in writing sever time, they
                                use to verbally confirm that its a new car with 100 PS only consoles
                                are fitted in opposite direction as its lower segment car.

                                In spite of requesting dealer several time to give me a written
                                confirmation when they failed I wrote to Ford India Ltd giving
                                reference of chassis no [SrvReqNo:[protected] and SrvReqNo:[protected]]
                                and came to know that its an old car which was manufactured in
                                Aug'15. This was the first time that I got clear confirmation that
                                car was a 91 PS model vehicle. When I took up the matter with the
                                dealer as advised by Ford India Call Centre Service (Attached in
                                trailing mail) they started ignoring me and always asked for some
                                more time to resolve the issue and each time confirmed that they shall
                                look into the matter. Later they also offered me to provide a Roof
                                rail or spare tyre cover as compensation for their mistake.

                                During mean while (on 13th- 14th Feb'16) I had gone to Mandarmoni, on
                                my way back my car's left side front tyre ripped off completely and I
                                near missed accident . I was driving on National highway when this
                                incident had happen.

                                They say its not manufacturing problem and asking for money for
                                replacement of wheel.

                                On asking why they have sold me an old car, earlier they were saying
                                it was by mistake they had delivered old car but now they (Mr Arun
                                Khendalwal) telling that they had given me a discount of Rs 8000
                                which was not available on other car which were being sold in Dec'15 .

                                They have cheated me and now to make me drop the case offering
                                accessories for worth Rs 15000 accessories.

                                But I want to lodge a complain and get my car replaced with the new
                                model which I had intended to buy(being a 100 PS model). If I had know
                                that they were offering me old car I would have waited for new car
                                rather than buying an old.

                                More over I feel they might have sold me a demo car which is used one,
                                because the way tyre has ripped off I'm sure its a used car.

                                Also I would like some serious action to be taken against M/s
                                Jayshree Motors Pvt Ltd, specially Mr Arun Khandalwal & Mr Amit
                                Sharma, who have been harassing me all the while.

                                I request you to please look into the matter on urgent basis. As I
                                have been trying since last two months to reach out in person or
                                through mail to Ford India directly but could manage to only speak to
                                your customer care.I fear in such a case, as I am not been hear
                                properly I will be compelled to approach Consumer Court and file a
                                case of cheating as I don't see any other way out .

                                and adequately addressing my problem by replacing with new
                                car.

                                  I own a Fusion TDCi 2009 it recently developed some power steering problem and the service center recommended changing the steering (both lower and upper). First they said the part was not available and had to be ordered and was going to take about a weeks time which eventually reached after a month and 4 days. Anyways i dropped my vehicle at the service center and was supposed to get it back in the evening the same day, but since then it has been 20 days approx and still nobody has bothered to give me a call about the status of my car. I had to hire a car for my daily use because of this and I have to pay for the same from my pocket while as i should have been provided a replacement from the service center.

                                  Second issue i am facing is: Even the smallest parts are provided at a very high cost by the service center and every time i go for something they give me the same excuse "the company has stopped the manufacturing of Fusion and therefore parts are not available, costly and other stuff of the same sort". I fail to understand, If Ford has stopped manufacturing Fusion, where lies my fault and why am I made to suffer.

                                  Till now i have owned 4 ford vehicles and i was very happy with the brand for the quality of their products and the level of comfort these vehicles offer, but due to these problems i am starting to think otherwise.

                                    I am owner of ford figo for the past 5 years and during the second year of purchase the car had developed injector problem. As the car was under warranty they replaced the injector and told me to use the car often to keep away from such problems.They also told me to change to other diesel station. Now again the same injector problem has been identified. As the car is not in warranty they are charging me 20000/- to replace the injector. I found that lot of people are facing the same problem. some consumers are so fed up they are not recommending this car to any one. some are also joking that ford is relying on its injector sales for survival.
                                    why is ford not doing enoughto set this problem.

                                        I Mr. Sasi Kumar purchased Eco Sport (Black) on Sep 2014 bearing Reg. No. TN 05 AY 0090, chasis.no- MAJAXXMRKAEP17476, Eng.no.-EP17476 and maintaining vehicle in Chennai Ford. I raised complaint on Dec 10th 2015 for starting problem but they denied continuously picking my vehicle for service for long days, after my continuous follow-ups Jan 5th they picked my vehicle. Till this date I have not received single call from the service centre about my vehicle and even if I call they are saying they will call us, till this time I don’t know the status of the car, even ping Service Advisor ([protected]) more than 40-50 times.
                                        Previously I have been used Maruthi, Hyundai, Volkswagen but I never seen feckless brand like Ford and their Service Centre Chennai Ford. Because of their negligence I distress and got mental agitation, and I propaganda my worst experience about Ford and about Chennai Ford to everyone whoever i meet daily, because no one should get worst experience by spending lacks and lacks of Rupees to purchase a car. Daily am spending Rs-1500/- for call Taxi, even own a car. I can’t express my grievances in mail, I need to meet MD of Ford and higher official of Service team, to express my unpleasant experience. Kindly arrange meeting otherwise I need to force to go to another level to get piece of mind.

                                        With reference to the trailing mail, am able to understand clearly that the vehicle delivery status is tentative & still the status is hangover & even a senior most management person cant able to give a clear picture, infact this makes me more fishy & worried to have such information on condition of the vehicle, also to note, there was a repeated service issue on water flowing inside the car thru some portion and that has not been stopped so far, even after repeated compliant registration, definitely seems to be a manufacturing defect & that need to be rectified on top most priority without any other reminders...

                                        Ford is a Global brand & trust in which is expected thru dealer network service & the company officials promptly commitment in terms of timely service or warranty replacement & that is the assurance which each & every single customer expects for a brand to keep trust moving forward...

                                        Hope my trust is still alive...Expect timely delivery with proper replacement in parts for non repeated complaints.

                                        Its really surprising that a prestigious car makers like Ford India is not at all having any concern towards its valued customers. I have been continuously harassed by Chennai Ford dealer and inspite of serious feedback given to Ford customer care on the feedback call, But no action has been taken by the concern authorities/representatives from Chennai Ford or from Ford India. Otherwise i would not have been so much in trouble incase necessary action would have been taken by its representative based on my feedback.
                                        Looks like there is complete policy and process paralysis with such a prestigious car manufacturer. Will request you to check all the recorded feedback call of the respective customer care.

                                        In the trailed mail, Mr. Joseph Mathew stated delivery date tentatively on 3rd Feb 2016, but today only they are sending the estimation for my vehicle. This is really a inept customer care and ineptitude of their service. Even in high ranking management person also could not able to give proper commitment.

                                        To attend the same and repeated complaint they are giving estimation of Rs-1, 70, 507/-, this is really unethical and fraudulent act and merely a looting a money from the customer pocket. Even to produce this false estimation they are taking 2months time, and now they are telling the horror stories which I could not able to listen or spend single penny because which is deliberately deceptive. From the purchase of this car, which is in Chennai Ford Workshop more days than in my parking shed.

                                        Really very horrible experience and pissing more of the reckless attitude and service of the Chennai ford executives and representative and authorities.

                                        Expecting to give more priority to resolve my issues and to deliver the vehicle in this week, without getting solution or a positive response, need to force to go another level.
                                        Chennai Ford become Monopoly with TamilNadu Politicians Backing so what do you expect?

                                        when they sell a Tyre they told it has warrenty now they are telling nowarrenty for this model...

                                        I gave the car for periodic maintenance (Oil Service) but when it came, it make more noise on the self motor and it the central locking is no more working...

                                        Tata Motors lost their position because of their dealership with V.S.T Motors (India Garage) that is the same management which owns Chennai FORD now...

                                        they killed lot of TN based Agri equipment manufacturers with their Man/Money/Political Power...

                                        Now its time for them to Pay Back. letz stop buying FORD products and who ever already owned Ford Cars dont take it to Chennai FORD for service...

                                        latest news., they even killed MPL Motors in chennai now...
