Dear Sir I had booked a Ford Ecosport (1.0 Ecoboost Titanium (o) from a ford authorized dealer in, Thane , Maharashtra on 17-February-2013. Initially they have informed me that they will be delivering the car to me by 15th –Aug-2013. But a week before the earlier confirmed date they informed me that there is a delay and now they will deliver it by 15-Sep-2013. I have escalated the issue to Ford India and soon the dealer provided me .a VIN number and given a commitment that they will deliver it by 20-Sep-2013. By this time Ford India had hiked the price f the vehicle by 5% ( for me it is around Rs50,000) . A couple of days back dealer told me that my car is ready and i can make full payment and sent me an invoice. As the invoice amount appeared more than what i have anticipated, I checked the calculation in detail and found that dealer has added Rs 17,000 to the actual registration and Octroi charges. When I questioned this, dealer told that this is a very regular practice and i must pay and i wont get a receipt for that amount. In addition they have quoted Rs 35,000 for vehicle insurance which around 15,000 more than the current market value (i have received quotes from outside with the same features for Rs 17,000 to 18,000). I have sent these quotes to the dealer but they insist that its mandatory to take insurance from the dealer and its a mandate from ford India. Below is the calculation for registration and LBT I am going to register the car in Thane District , Maharashtra where I have to pay Octroi or LBT at 5% and 9% registration charges. Ex-show room price Thane without Octroi/LBT : 866,290 (As per Ford pricelist) Dealer quoted : 869790 Actual Difference : 3500 Octroi/LBT at 5% : (869790 * 5)/100 = 43,490 Ex-show room price Thane with Octroi/LBT : 869790 + 43,490 = 913280 Dealer quoted : 9,19716 Difference : 6436 Registration Charges at 9% : (913280 * 9)/100 =82195.2 Dealer quoted : 89,274 Difference : 7079 Total difference on reg/lbt : 17015 Dealers Insurance : 35,000 Actual market price for insurance : around 19000 Difference : 15000 So dealer is forcing me to shell out around Rs 35,000 extra.to the actual amount. I had written this issue in detail to Ford India and they have registered my complaint under Concern number[protected]. Then they asked me for proof for what ever I have explained assuring me that they will check with the dealer. I have sent the dealers price list and invoice soft copy as proof. but Ford india has not given any response to me even after multiple inquiries. Can you kindly look in to this issue.     I am a Ford Figo Owner ( RJ-14-CM-6220) registered in the name of Virendra Choudhary. I have been using the vehicle from almost 2.5 years now, recently my car went for service wherein i had complain the service centre ( K.S. Cars Ltd) for noise into Car while turning the stearing to either of the side and also a loud voice into car on a rough rod. I had been charged for Rs. 2500(APPROX) saying a the stearing rod had been changed wherein i have read into a leading news paper( Amar Ujala- 14th SEPT,2013) that Fod has recalled the cars sold between Jan2010 and 2012 due to the same stearing and suspension issues and the same will be ratified without any charges than how come the dealer has charged me for the same . I would request you to pls take an appropriate action immediately on the captioned issue else i would have to knock the door of consumer forum .       Sir, I have purchased a ford figo car from Kairali Ford at Kottayam in Kerala on 20.09.2012. The rear view mirror of the vehicle at the driving side is out of condition when simply folding it. It is neither crashed nor hit anywhere. It is felt that some low quality material is used in the parts of the mirror. It seems that the action of the mirror is out of order, and which cannot be used for driving. The mirror may please be replaced at the earliest. Direction in this regard may please be issued to Kairali Ford dealer at Kottayam, Kerala.         1) I have purchased Ford Figo car ( CG 12 R 1825 ), on 2010. A few
        days ago my car had a minor accident, then i call Ford show room to
        repair the car. The driver and supervisor were sent from there to get
        my car, when i handed over my car it was showing 90 KM DTE, then the
        driver ask me for fuel and i gave him 500/- rupee, but when i take my
        car back on 07/ August/ 2013 after repair it was showing 0 KM DTE. The
        conclusion is that driver and supervisor have not top up the fuel and
        they have taken all the given money secretly.

        2) When i take my car back, the fittings and repair of my car were not
        acceptable, i told about it to maintenance head R.D. Borker and Sanjay
        Bharti. they told me that, it is good repaired and they were making
        fool of me.

        3) When i complaint to them for fuel money theft and poor maintenance,
        they insulted and handed over my car to me forcefully.But they did not even take my
        complaint seriously. However i have mentioned during bill signing that
        i am not satisfied with service that was given to me.

        4) They have changed my car's Head light, but they did not set the
        focus level. And because of that, i have faced to much trouble during
        drive at night. Moreover the head light of the right side was showing
        moisture and fog, i am confused that whether they are providing a
        duplicate parts or original. i thought that it will be worked 2 or 4
        month at least. But it was disabled with in 3 hour, i was totally
        unable to see the road during driving,

        5) When i was on the road at night, i was about to be accident-ed on the road, because
        of low focus of light on the road

        It is showing poor quality service and maintenance. my car can be checked at my home, you will also observe the same complaints.
        I am asking for justice and complete repair or replacement of my car free of cost.

        Please do the needful.

          Dear Ford,

          I am an ashamed owner of Ford Figo. When I bought Figo, I thought I am doing an intelligent thing by switching from Maruti to Ford, just to learn that it is one of the biggest mistake I did while selecting a new car.

          Ford Gurgaon only knows how to cheat customer. They know nothing about the technicality of their product and the car sits more at service centre with repeated visits just to get harassment. I got windshield changed and was harassed at every moment. Ford changed my wiper blades without my permission and charged 900Rs. Third day I made complaint that wiper blades are faulty and if i use it it will scratch the windshield. My car was again called at service centre with no resolution and to tell me that it is physically abused by myself.

          The car is with me. Let me have somebody who knows about car products and tell me how it has been physically abused where is it is a fault at design.

          This is not the first incident. Every incident is just a painful journey that I have had with Ford from last 3 years.

          I like to broadcast here to every visitor, PLEASE DON't BUY FORD

          I already booked a ford figo diesel taxi permit at Cochin show room in Kerala cars pvt.ltd, Kunamthai, Edappally. I enquired about excise refund. They told that they had no option. What I do for getting excise refund. Please give details as early as possible.

          i saw online price of ford figo is 4,12,000 but ford agency in rewa is charging 4,16,121 for same model even they r not giving any discounts i want to know why there is so much of price difference.

            I have attached bangalore times paper ad dated[protected]. The ad clearly mentions there is exchange bonus of Rs.15000 for all Figo cars except Lxi irrespective of petrol and diesel. When i approached Lathangi ford Bangalore regarding the same, they said the exchange bonus is applicable only for diesel cars. Then whats the neccessity of these ads. These are filthy ads confusing people.

              i buy a ford figo titaniam car at 2011 in rajashree ford in erode. the car was good but the the dealer service is very bad,
              i have attend 1 accident in my car at 7 months before , its body shop works in cbe rajashree ford they have taken so much time to ready it ,that's ok i don't care about that but service has many repute work i don't satisfied about this work they have no manpower iam in gobichettipalayam 40km how many time iam go to that company now also they have many problem in my car i don't satisfied my family also,so planned sold my car and go to that rajashree ford ask him i am planned to change my car i want to buy a new ecosport or new figo or endeavour they company staff said they don't exchange my car because that accidents they don't say prize also ,when accidents happened that company will ready my car that bill amount 2,50000 that time that company told now u got full ready but now they don't accept my exchange car because the reason was accident car i don't like that rajashree ford response ,i refer many customer to buy figo car but that dealer response is not satisfied 2 me plz saving me .

                I have purchased a Ford Figo from your dealer Priyadarshi Ford – Patna on 15/10/2012.
                During the process, I was offered a choice of a gift out of six items. I opted for the microwave oven. At the time of the delivery of the car, I was told that the gift item had not arrived, hence will be delivered at a later time, when it arrives from the company.
                Since then I am in waiting and am narrated a new story every time I call. My place, Muzaffarpur, is 80 Km away from Patna (Priyadarshi Ford). I have visited Priyadarshi Ford-Patna four to five times specially to collect the gift, but every time got some new excuse.
                Being a customer I feel like cheated because of no proper response. I only request Ford team to be transparent with the customers. This incident shows the total negligence towards customer grievances. and also making false scheme to expedite the sale. Hence one doesn’t have any options left other than to approach you.
                Please revert at the earliest.

                I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED A CAR FROM KAIRALI FORD KOTTAYAM.WITH THAT WE PAID 12000/- FOR MUSICAL SYSTEM WITH SPEAKER WHICH ACTUALLY COST AROUND 8000/-.AFTER 3 MONTHS ONLY WE CAME TO KNOW THAT WE ARE BADLY CHEATED BY THE DEALERS.

                  My name Charanjeet and I have Ford Figo TDCi 2013 and Car registration HR72 A 6040. I purchase this Car 16 January 2013 and now total running 5700 km. My car some front side damage in march. I change all car parts those was damage to Harpreet Ford Gurgaon and pay total amount of parts was 105000. Then my car total run only 1700 km after this i done first service to Harpreet Ford Gurgaon then my car 2500km run only. After this no any problem in my car and 11 May 2013 I drive my car and automatically broken car mounting. While my car speed very slow and not jumped any breaker. After this I reached my car in Harpreet Ford Gurgaon and requested for replace my car mounting in warranty. Harpreet Ford Gurgaon replied to me on 13 May 2013 and told me that this part not changed in warranty Because my car already damaged to accident. I told Mr. Surender (Service manager Harpreet Ford Gurgaon) that all parts has been changed those were damaged by accident and also paid 105000 Rs. and all my car in warranty right now. So please I requested to you my car mounting replace in warranty. Please My contact n. [protected] Please I m so sad about my car. Pease do the needfull.

                    Ford is a completely mismanaged company who is out there to cheat customers at every step. Even a couple of email to the MD of the company did not help get a resolution to the brake problems in my car that Harpreet Ford(OKHLA) refuses to rectify. Extremely poor customer support/service and to top it off unheard o[censored]nprofessional attitude.

                    Can someone please explain to FORD that if they go to a doctor to get a tooth ache checked, the doc. does not tell them to first get an enema done only then will the actual problem be addressed.

                    I hope you guys realize such PONZI business practice is against fair trade and consumers rights.

                      ear Sirs, I have a Ford Figo 1.4 EXI. brought during 22.06.2012 at Bangalore from FORD dealer.
                      My vehicle has completed First service at 2500 kms and Second service was due by 22.06.2013 and it has covered 5700 kms. There were no indications or warnings on the vehicle for breakdown. The vehicle failed to move due to clutch malfunctioning on 20th April 2013. During that time, I requested for Road side assistance and dealer help to tow. They washed their hands stating that, owner has to do on their own and end up in paying another additional Rs. 4000/= (Rupees Four thousands only). The vehicle reached Elite FORD service station on 20th April 2013 around 10:45 PM. Nowhere mentioned in the manual that the road side assistance is limited to 50 kms only. but now customer relationship department is arguing.
                      On 22nd April 2013, the clutch assembly is dismantled and found that the complete clutch assembly is failed due to malfunctioning of Clutch assembly. The Plates are completely damaged and plate friction material is converted as jelly wool. It is a clear indication of Plate facing material problem and clutch malfunctioning. It may be due to Faulty slave cylinder / Incorrect alignment of Flywheel / release clip incorrectly fitted / Misalignment condition between engine and gearbox / increased speed of the gearbox input shaft / Faulty oil seals / Faulty release mechanisms / Insufficient release bearing clearance / Excessive bearing preload / Damaged release bearing / Incorrect clutch assembly and high temperatures in the clutch assembly. It is purely premature failure due to manufacturing and defective system.

                      The dealer and Ford customer relations came back with an one line stating that overriding was the failure cause. I requested for complete Field failure report including the reason(s) for the failure for the parts and complete assembly including diagnosis / Root cause analysis for the assembly but they are denying to provide the complete report except one line answer stating that Override / Over use was the cause for failure and warranty doesnot cover for consumable parts.
                      When a customer has paid more than 7 lakhs for a car what is his intention. Do you mean to say that every 5000 kms keep spending since operational conditions? What is your design philosophy?. I am coming to the conclusion that in the name cost are we killing quality and charging to the customer.
                      Similar incident has been reported in Kairali Ford Kochin, when I brought to theire notice they say they they wont vouche for internet media. They are trying to suppress the failures like this and charging to customer.
                      When you give 1 lakh kms warranty or 3 years of service, it is understood that the vehicle should withstand different driving conditions and environments except accidents. The vehicle has covered just 5700 kms sparingly used in less than 8 months and that to good highways. That means it has covered only 5% of the life warranted. Hence FORD INDIA has provided defective product and hence premature failure.
                      It is expected that when an OEM sells a car to customer, it has to complete the expected life period and cannot be excused by blaming the operation conditions. If you bring operating conditions as an excuse under warranty period then there is no necessity to mention warranty to customers.
                      Now, I am decided to go to court for their disobedience.
                      Can you guide, how I should approach and can I file 2 cases. One for not respecting the warranty and other one for cheating the customer and providing the faulty car.
                      Request Forum advice on the same.

                      Ford Figo — service

                      I Vineta A Rupa Reg no. DL 4C AF6515 not Gautam kapoor. I took my vehicle to Harpreet service station Sahibabad to check my car body care which was due on Dec 2011 for some noise in break shoe and left side speaker. The adviser (Mr. Negi) informed me through phone that the break shoe was hard and it has to be replaced, I gave my concances but while delivering they charged me Rs.1357/- . My question is that when my car is under warrenty and it is not more then one and a half year old (16000 Km Approx) why should I bear the charges and why did they not rub the shoe with sand paper,the quality of your parts are so bad that they get hard quickly?Please reply.....

                        We had a accident in Tamil Nadu Vellore dist. At Jolarpetai in our Ford Ikon 1.3 Car no KA02 P 9092 with Piggo Truck on June 1, 2012. The Truck hit us from back & our vehicle went & hit the lorry in front. The Vehicle was damaged in the front & back right side; no interior parts were damaged only external body of the vehicle. After compliant at Jolarpet police Station, We called the service centre people & took the vehicle to Sarvesh ford service centre at Vellore. Dhakshina Murthy the person we met in the service centre & he asked us to leave the vehicle in service centre & will do the needful. He asked that the insurance people may ask us that they will buy the vehicle by providing the money so we said no we want the vehicle, after discussion he took the signature from us for admitting the vehicle he provided the copy to us but we did not go through the same & also he promised the vehicle will be ready in 20 days.
                        After few days we called him no response from his side & after following regularly for 45 – 60 days he said he is taking vehicle inside for service & told us the cost of service will be approximate of Rs. 1. 10 lakhs & insurance will be getting for 60% he did not provide quotation or estimation on cost for service. We have got Rs. 88 K from the Iffico Tokyo insurance
                        After telling them we have got the insurance amount for Rs.88 K then they provided us the bill on September 27, 2012. Now he is claiming Rs. 1. 68 Lakhs for service. We said we want the actuals because my vehicle was not damaged so much we have the pictures of the vehicle when accident occurred. They damaged our vehicle while toying. Dhakshina Murthy & his team created drama at the ford centre by not giving the correct response. We wanted to finalise the amount discussing with the manager or MD was unable to meet them. Since then giving reasons that the managers are not available Also we asked their phone contact numbers but they did not provide us. Later on Oct 8, 2012 we personally visited the service centre & we were unable to meet the Manager or MD. Dhakshina Murthy said he will speak to the Manager or MD & till date he is not responding on phone.
                        We don’t want to pay money for the damages done by Service centre people & we want the actual bill
                        for the service done & the parts value for the June – July Month
                        Kindly help us in the above complaint

                          I was to happy to buy the ford figo for the same i have paid initial amount of 10000 to Mr.Parul Ahluwalia. at the time of booking amount he clearly mentioned that in case you were not interested then we will refund you the full amount. Due to some reason we have change the plan to buy verna instead of it. The problem arose when i call for the amount at that time parul is not their and i have talked with his senior Mr. Yogesh and visited to his showroom on 15 march that is the worse part i have experienced means how they tackle his client. he is too rude. when i asked for my money he said we will deducted 2500 rs for cancellation fee. i told him what commitment has been done by the Parul but he is to rude.. after all the conversation i agreed to accept and he told me the check will be delived with in next 5 to 7 days now its about one month no such kind of promise has been done. every time i called to one of his colleague he told me i am out of the showroom when finnaly i reached to Yogesh he told me another story to provide the account number then he will create the check.
                          please tell me how we can trust these giant organizations.. and how we can stop these kind of harassment..

                            Dear sir,
                            This is v r yadav from soalpur ( Maharashtra ). we had booked the Holiday package for Munnar ( Kerala ) on 25.01.2013 to 31.01.2013 from Book My Holiday Agent. But unfortunately it was not booked by them, and then we had to pay the hotel stay. they had send reimbursement letter and agree to pay the Refund amount in 15 days when we return back from the kerala.
                            We have paid Rs. 8000/- in advance as deposit to the Book My holiday. They have to send us Rs.14400/-. But still we have not received any positive sign from there, becoz its 3 months completed for the journey. and we have send hard copy of our stay hotel at there Noida address through Courier and through Email at there [protected]@affordablesalespromotions.com. Everyday i tried to call them but, everytime it was busy or call disconnected.
                            This is my request to you please contact them and convince them to refund our amount immediately. Here we are sending the documents regarding this package please check it.

                              Recently took my ford mondeo car for a service center at Lathangi ford opposite IIM bangalore with a prior appointment for the service . The funny part was after I reached there the service technicians are like "sorry sir" we can't lift your car in our garage since they can lift only fiesta : figo cars. Around 11 months back I had done the service from the same dealer , when they dint have the so called " lifting issue " LoL. Secondly the service center is so much unorganized that the people there have no idea whether the customers are waiting for the car to be delivered or whether they came to drop in the car. Thankfully my friend recommended me Metro ford on st marks road Bangalore and the service they carried out was excellent and they have a good customer relations unlike the other.

                                i want to complaints about my institute they are so useless they take my fees and not complete my courses i want an strict and immediate action for them or i will sue you very badly you wont except that cos when there is time to pay money they welcome us apart from that they behave like they dont know us..so ridiculous...

                                its basically about rajori garden institute E-Accounting students its really so bad and am expecting strict action ASAP.

                                  After a lot of survey I too bought a Figo with great expectations but it seems I was cheated and deceived. Whether to blame the Ford as a company or the dealer I dunno ? But I am sure a well known company like Ford would give it's dealership to responsible people. I got a 2012 manufactured Ford Titanium in Feb.2013 from Astro Ford, Dwarka. I made the payment is cash as the dealers preferred and insisted. Now when I started driving I noticed that the car has dents on the hood and the bonnet which is visible from a certain angle and in proper light. At the time of finalising the deal when I wanted to see the car, the salesperson Ms. Shilpa made excuses about getting the car to the showroom, instead she took me to a bodyshop 8 kms away which was not even well lit. I was a little apprehensive and asked a her many times why the car is there but she kept saying all is fine and that she did not want us to go to the warehouse as it would be very dusty. Again while taking delivery we were made to check the car in the basement which again was not well lit. but we trusted them and Ford as it is a big and reputable company. But now I am disappointed an annoyed and I am scared what if the car has other internal problems as well? I want some action to be taken asap else I shall write to as many consumer grievance forums as I can and have already done on one . I am a working class person and I can't afford to be deceived like this? My no. is [protected]

                                    I am Naresh Kumar from Faridabad Haryana.I purchased Ford Figo EXI diesel model from NCR Ford on 04.02.2011.with extended warranty for three year. This vehicle is registered in Faridabad and registration No is HR 51 AM 0861.
                                    Brake of this vehicle are not effective in this regard I complained to NCR ford at Faridabad they replaced brake pads but problem is not solved after repeated complaint. In this regard I contacted GM of NCR ford Faridabad last year but problem was not solved . I am left with no option but to drive vehicle with less effective brake and put my life to risk.
                                    On 01.03.2013 I met with accident as my vehicle did not stop after applying brake, during sudden brake from front vehicle. I handed over my vehicle to Riddhi Ford Okhla phase 1 New Delhi which is nearest Ford service station as NCR Ford is closed.
                                    Today I received call from Riddhi ford that chesis no mentioned in extended warranty is MAJIXXMIJRBC83566 and actual as mentioned on vehicle is MAJIXXMIJRBC88566 and there is mismatch 0f 3/8 in chesis No. scan copy of extended warranty is attachedfor reference .
                                    Major warranty replacement is in brake system as per service station Riddhi Ford service manager Mr Vikram. My vehicle is not yet handed over to me and held up at Riddhi Ford due to non settlement of warranty claim after post accident repair.

                                    I have booked Ford FIGO EXI Model colur white with dealer in Jammu
                                    When I approached for the delivery of vehicle they refuse to provide me
                                    the vehicle of my selected color i.e white which is a big harassment to me
                                    I have also made the advance payment for same.
                                    please look into the matter.

                                      I has purchased Ford Figo Car from GRS Ford, Varanasi on 2nd Nov 2010. From the very time of delivery, there was sound from the front part of the vehicle which were made known to them at the time of delivery. They said as the car is absolutely new some nuts may have got loosen which will be made OK in the first service. Since then they are fooling me and calling me to Varanasi. I had contacted there corporate office also and written to their President also who just requested me to go there GSR Ford service station. I made uncountable times but the problem still persists. I had almost spent more that lac in coming and going to Varanasi for the same. Still there is sound which anyone can hear and in experiment of rectifying the complaint they had spoiled my vehicle.

                                        I have recently purchased a ford endeavour automatic, when we went to take the delivery the car had already run in excess of 400 plus kms, the interiors were filthy , there were shoe marks on the cream upholstery, the carpets were dirty , on asking why the dealer (avk ford chandivilli , Mumbai ) told us that it was driven down from kollahpur as the container bringing it was stuck there !! We were promised the car would be cleaned if we could send the car to the workshop. On opening the bonet we found that the coolant bottle was empty, which meant that even the per delivery inspection was not carried out properly!! When asked why, they asked us not to worry as they would take care of it once we sent it to the workshop. We did not wish to take the delivery of such a vehicle, however we were told that now the registration is done nothing could be done !! It was a horrible experience. When the car came back the carpets looked worn as threads were sticking out, the installation of DVD player took two days for installation and the music system has screw driver puncture marks on it.
                                        On the first service I mentioned to the supervisor that the breaks are not working properly, he told us that this only had abs and not eps system , thus the breaks felt the way they did. However after some days I again took it to another ford workshop and they were shocked as none of the breaks were functioning properly, the front bumper had come loose without being hit, finally the breaks were changed, however the endavour automatic breaks are not responsive at all , for such a large vehicle. Even now after the change the cars breaks have improved, however the whole car shudders, so I got a demo car to see if that vehicle also has the same problem, the breaks are more or less the same However they are smoother so now I am told the abs needs to be checked!!
