Ford figo car with reg no:UP70-BE 4382 has got engine fault on 19 Jan'13 without any indication from the vehicle and company through its dealer Brij Ford Allahabad is saying that I should pay 1.25 lacs for new engine without properly analyzing the matter.

The vehicle is lying at service centre in Allahabad since 25 jan and till date there is no proper response from their side.i am being harrased like anything and would seek help and guidance to go further and screw the Ford company or dealer.

    Ford revealed their plans for  their latest car, the new Fiesta Sedan at their Fiesta Cafe in Delhi yesterday at the Select City Walk Mall in Saket. The plans for the new Fiesta Sedan, which has over a million sales around the world under its belt was revealed at the event.

    The Fiesta Sedan has a fresh new design that Ford claims is all for the upwardly mobile and dependent Indian customer. The variations of the car are powered by Ford’s Ti-VCT petrol and TDCi diesel engines. There’s also cruise control features built into the car.

    Ford has taken inspiration from consumer electronics while building this car. The car has a built-in voice control feature that allows drivers to interact with gadgets in the car. For example, you can make and receive voice calls on the phone, change radio stations, climate control and even change the music track being played.

    The Fiesta Sedan is being built at the Maraimalai Nagar plant in Chennai. Ford had planned to build eight cars in this plant last year. The Ford Fiesta Sedan is the first of those cars.

    The Fiesta Cafe itself is for those who want to bask in the Fiesta ambience. There’s plenty of features to keep customers and enthusiasts entertained all thanks to the gadgets and media being played around. Ford streams feeds from social media services about the Fiesta on their digital walls. Customers can also sit around and use the iPad applications to learn more about the new car.

          NOISE issue cannot be resolved by ford

          i BOUGHT A NEW FORD FIGO CAR. since the day i bought it it has noisy engine. several visits to showroom and they could never solve the problem. then i contacted the FORD TOLL FREE number and raised my voice there. since then the car was sent to a dealership as per instruction from Ford and was there for 2 weeks and returned me back with problem still in car. Again the car is with them since last 16 days as nothing is happening. Ford india...

          we purchased a ford escape from kanata ford and we were duped out of $2,300 in cash from the salesman james , when we realized we were being ripped off we tried to get the money back but the managers would not accept responsibility , instead they actually started yelling at us in the privacy of their office , it went to court and the sale man was found guilty of fraud,we were refunded our money , the manager was subpoenaed for court and had the audacity not to show up ,how embarrassing on their part,NOW we know we could have taken them to court because they are equally as guilty as the salesman.EXTREMELY poor customer service,the owner NEVER spoke with us after repeated attempts to settle this before having to go to court.NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

            i have purchased a new car (new ford fiesta) on dated 8 feb 2012. the company gives me appox 68000 discount because of sale promotion of car and give me the bill on that dated i,e 8 feb 2012. now i want to sell my car but when i go to the local dealer he told me that your car's model is 2011 not 2012. then i called the ford dealer, the dealer told me that you are right the car model is 2011 that is we gives you discount. but at that time the dealer never told me for that.


            so plz suggest me what can i do.

              This is the third time I am writing to you because of very poor, unprofessional and non-customer friendly response from your Harpreet Ford .



              It has been more than 20 days no one bother to provide the actual feedback regarding my refund.



              The people who’s working in your company are cheated with the customers.



              This is the worst car dealer in India. Their services are very poor, and sales people are very big lier.



              I had a very bad experience with this dealer. They do not listen once you give advance money to them.



              Ford people are so callous that they do not even bother to provide the feedback to customer.



              Mr. Deepak & Parash who never respond the customer calls on proper manner.



              Both are suggest to me that I will get my refund within an week when I cancel my deal from them due to their false commitment .





              SHAME ON HARPREET FORD!



              I am marking CC to consumer farm request to you please help.



              As ford harshed me lots and I have already wasted my precious time as well as lots of money also.

              please take serious action against these folks.

                Hi,

                We have given our car for repair in Fortune Ford service and car is under extended warranty. But it is told to us as there are no regular service records. Then we approcahed Ford India and they told same intially and we shared our service records. Then they came up with new rejection reason saying Car was driven in sipte of over heating but the Tempearature meter did not shown any rise in temperature while driving.
                Can some help us in availing the waranty.

                  Respected sir.
                  I bought ford figo car last year on 11 Aug 2011 Number UP 16 AE 8168 . Upto now I am not satisfied with this car because the major problem with this is that on applying brakes suddenly in high speed ,the engine stops and steering and brakes does not works which increases the risk of accident . most of the times ,engine stops even in low speed also . secondly ,lube oil ‘s level becomes low in every 15 days and I have to fill it again and again , as there is a probability of engine being ceased .
                  Many times I have complained about it but there is no action , so I want to ask that for what period common in ford cas? Or if there is any other fast ,as this is the only car I have and I can’t run my business without it .
                  Please help me in this reference and provide a fast suitable soloution

                    Since the day, I have bought this car - Exi Metro Diesel, Car no. DL7CN 5074 in August 2012 from NCR Ford Defence Colony , i have faced numerous issues.

                    - One week after the purchase of my car, a battery and engine check sign used to appear constantly while driving - which thank god got fixed after my 3rd visit at Badarpur work station.

                    - Later on 2 months back, another issue came up - my power windows started making unusual noise and when they were pulled down to a certain level, a constant noise of vibration is experienced, for this i have visited the Harpreet Ford outlet in Okhla, almost 6 times, but the common reply i get from there supervisors and branch manager is that - "ITNEE AAWAAZ TO FIGO MEIN AAYEGEE HEE SIR"...!!! Still the issue is persisting.

                    - The series of problem dsnt end here, today morning, while driving down to work, suddenly the steering of my car got locked and the car ignition got turned off...I managed to save myself from a narrow accident.
                    TELL ME IF I WOULD HAVE COLLAPSED TODAY BECAUSE OF THE CAR STEERING ISSUE, THEN WHO WOULD HAVE BEEN RESPONSIBLE - FORD INDIA OR FORD GLOBAL?

                    I FEEL MY LIFE IS AT RISK, WHILE DRIVING THIS DISGUSTING VEHICLE.

                    To be honest, my trust and faith in Ford is lost now and now what i demand is a money back...!

                    I am a salaried employee and i feel Ford has seriously robbed me by selling a poor quality car.

                    TO REPEAT - I NEED A FULL REFUND OF MY CAR, ELSE THE ABOVE SAID WILL BE DONE BY ME IN NEXT 2-3 DAYS.

                    Car — Serious issue

                    My father has purchased a car Indica Xeta form Lexus Motors, West Bengal, Kolkata BekhBagan.regarding the spare accessories the price mentioned in the products' box like a car perfume car cover are much less than what they charged for eg the cost of the car perfume mentioned is Rs.165/ where as they charged us Rs300/ not only this there are many such articles which we purchased in high cost as we have to purchase it when we asked them they told us that the price of all articles is higher in show room than what mentioned in the box please take care of my query as it has not only happened to me but to a lot of people who had purchased a car/cars from this showroom but my voice can at least stop this for the future consumers.please take some action I can provide you with all the details if you want please take care and action!

                    when we purchased a new car from maruthi kvr dealer in kasaragod we had reported some complaints about the vehicle to sales manager named Mr.joy had not behaved properly.He spoke rashly with us.He is saying that he does not have any responsibility after purchasing the car.if this type of sales manager are there how can customer buy cars from maruthi cars.This is shame maruthi company to have sales manager like this.

                      This is to bring to your notice that I had towed my Ford endeavour 4x4 september 2005 model to Bhagat Ford workshop in Dehradun in the state o[censored]ttrakhand.

                      Here are te details of job order:

                      RO ABC 051590A dated 20 dec 2012. Time in 1024 hrs.

                      Vehicle number - GJ 1 HL 4648

                      I must say that the way the whole situation was handled was as good as a road side workshop.

                      Firstly I had to personally coordinate between supervisors, .mechanics and other ground staff.......before it was put on bay. I literally had to shout and walk all over the workshop.

                      In the very first stance I was told that they have only two men who are trained on ford endeavour. Hence the time taken to attend the suv is long and sometimes it can take days.

                      on the second stance I was also told that this is an old model suv and does not have a computer diagnosis port and hence the unsurity about working on it.

                      I would like to mention here that if for cannot provide expertise on a 7 year old car.........for repairs or diagnosis.......then why should ford sell cars at all. 7 year is an old car. Perhaps the company should sell cars saying that they will support the service on cars till a new model is launched......and d after that the customer is to buy a new one for hasselfree service.

                      Once the SUV was on bay....the boys got Down finally to figure it out. They then started to do their best to work on codes from PAFT. One of the boys sat in the driver seat and tried to read the pattern of the immobaliser light .....like the Morse code. Be did find something but was not sure. He brought a printout of the codes to work on the combinations.

                      After this they seemed puzzled.........

                      So they again started. This time one of the boys tried to do something by shorting all contacts on the diagnosis port with the earth of the car. It was done by non professional equipment and the boy literally tore the I sulation lf a lose wire in his tool box with his mouth and then twisted it to make contact. He then held one side of wire on the earth (a nut under the bonnet) and tried to short all ports one by one.......

                      While he was doing this.....he was in tandem with other boy with whom he was asking if something happened to the lights on dash board.

                      They kept fiddling with their self made jigs and din reach a solution.

                      After this they started saying it is due to a faulty fuel injection system.

                      Hence would require a change of the high pressure disel pump.

                      When I asked that are they sure of the diagnosis.........they were not.

                      I wanted to get the car towed out.......but a senior officer at bhagat ford said that theyhave another expert coming to see the car and hence they would like to keep it a day more for a full working Sunday and hope to get it diagnosed properly. So we were assured and we left the car back.

                      After that its been me calling the supervisors and they promise to call back and never call back.

                      Today also when I called.....mr Joshi.the supervisor......he said that the problem is fuel injection system. And to which I asked if they were sure.......he said he will call me back in ten minutes. Well as usual......no call.

                      So my complaint is that as a customer of ford......what should I do. Or should I regret to have a ford suv.....known for reliability n strength.

                      It is very callous on the representation of ford in India.

                      I feel I should somehow get the car fixed and sell it off fr mental peace.

                      I feel frustrated and the way the customer is treated is also like a govt office. I never got any call from the workshop. Its either me calling, or visiting the workshop in person or my father who goes to check on them.

                      If this suv from 2005 does not have a computer port.........and these new ford workshops do not have the technical expertise to handle these cars.....then as a customer what do I do.

                      I almost feel like that I should just push the damn suv off the cliff. Because it is Ford and the company cannot provide support for a veryyyyyy olddddddd 7 year old car.

                      It is not a 70 year old car.

                      I hope to hear from some one responsible.

                        I had taken “Affordable holidays” offer from Bag it today on 5.3.12 and paid Rs.7000.00. The offer included accommodation for 7 nights and 8 days in 3 star, 4 star& 5 star deluxe hotels/apartments/resorts. I wanted to avail this offer for the period between 27.10.12 and 9.11.12 by giving them 2 destinations (Istanbul & Beijing) and 2 dates according to their terms and conditions. I had sent the form along with the draft for the value of Rs.750.00 by courier, the courier came back saying that the address was wrong, this was the address mentioned in the form as well as on the website. I called their customer service number when I was told that the address was changed.
                        I then sent the form along with the returned courier cover to them by speed post on 25.9.2012. They refused to give me an accommodation saying that one month notice was not there. First of all it was their fault that they did not correct the address on the website (till today their website shows the wrong old address), nor did they inform the customers about it, secondly my second date was 3.11.2012 which was quite within the one month notice, so I sent them an email to this effect. I received an email from them on 4.10.2012, saying that they can give me accommodation in Thailand in December. I obviously do not want them to decide where and when I should go for a vacation, and that’s what I wrote to them in my email, to which I have not yet received a reply.
                        I had sent them another letter by courier on 7.10 2012 and also wrote a complaint to them on their website. Till now I have not heard anything from them. I had asked them to refund my money since they cannot provide what they promised.
                        They do not reply to letters, to emails. You cannot talk to them on phone as they keep disconnecting the phone. I must have called them at least 8-10 times. This I feel is a big fraud and cheating the customers.
                        Surprisingly even after refusing to give me accommodation they went ahead and cashed the draft for Rs.750 which I had sent along with the application form.(it was cashed on 19.10.2012). This just shows that they are there to collect money without giving any service to the customers.
                        I would like you to take action against them so that they refund my money (along with interest) and stop cheating more people with offers like this. This obviously is a big fraud and scam.
                        I would be happy to provide any other information you need. I can send the photocopy of their brochure and copies of my correspondence with them including the emails.

                          I purchased my new car Ford Figo (Titanium, Diesel) (TN06 F 7416) in May this year. While taking a decision on the purchase from the dealer Chennai Ford, I was made to understand with great emphasis that I would get a mileage of a minimum of 15 km per ltr of diesel. Since then I have given the car for its first service more than a month back, during which time I had specifically complained about the poor mileage observed by me of just above 11 kpl. This point does not seem to have been given any importance.
                          Recently, I had taken the vehicle on a long drive from Chennai to Tirunelveli along superb roads. Even then I was very disappointed with its mileage of just about 16 kpl, whereas I was assured a minimum mileage of 18 kpl in Highways. This was again raised with them, to which they called me for a mileage test. ie. they insisted I have to spend the whole day with them while they do the testing of the vehicle. Being a working person, while I cannot step away from my office for such things, I really am in a fix and dont know how to deal with them. When the car has to be tested and the mileage checked and rectified, why would they insist on me wasting my time, when they cannot do proper rectification while taking delivery for 1st service itself. Why should they waste my time on this I wonder. Will I get a better deal from Ford company and will this problem be rectified or not?

                            It makes me feel sorry that I am an owner of FORD FIGO LXi Petrol.

                            I had bought this car with huge enthusiasm on a recommendation from my manager who is an American by blood.

                            But, I found that my car mileage was and is very poor and reported it to the dealer.

                            This Saturday, 20th Oct 2012, experience has been very depressing. Due to convenient location I have been getting vehicle serviced from Bhawana Ford, Navi Mumbai.


                            I had a very bad Customer Experience there and made me think that there is not Customer Value Management and Customer Satisfaction at FORD Service Centres.

                            1) I was made to wait long before my car was taken inside for servicing.
                            2) The technicians were not attentive, rather were busy roaming around.
                            3) The service advisor was not cooperative and did not have enough knowledge to answer question.
                            4) I was charged extra from Engine Oil Flush Liquid, whereas it was never used.
                            5) They had also charged me for Engine Oil additive, but did not use it. On my check with the technician and supervisor and when I insisted, the additive was added.
                            6) At the time of delivery of the car, I found that the car seat cover was damaged and showed it to the supervisor also. He behaved like ignoring it.
                            7) Above all, my car mileage could not be improved yet.

                            I did not expect them to damage my car seat covers and deny.

                            The customers would not expect this kind of response from such good reputed company.

                              Complaint against Kairali Ford Kottayam (Sales man name Mr.Vimal), subsidiary of Karali Ford Ernakulam.

                              Last month bought a car from them, with Onam offers guaranteed and corporate offers. This week, when I called them, they are saying all kind of alien excuses, not to give the offers. This just disappoints us.

                              I have raised a complaint in FORD and they are on the follow up. Inform everyone to be cautious.

                                I had purchased a Ford Figo variant 1.4 ZXI in the name of Gaurav Singla on 01/06/2012. The vehicle was booked on 13/05/2012 in the scheme named Ford Midnight Sale offer and won a PANASONIC 32 INCHES LED TV in the above mentioned scheme and the gift will be delivered to me by the company.

                                I was assured by the company through SMS and Ford authorized agency PEARL FORD JAGADHRI that my LED will be received by me in next 45 days but the same never happened. I contacted the dealer who to my surprise showed no interest in listening to me and just passed an asurance that the promise will be kept by the company and asked me to mark a mail to Ford India for further follow up with our further disturbing the dealer in this regard.

                                Since then I have been writing to Ford India with regards to the issue without any revert except a phone call from their side verifying my coupon number and further assuring me that my request has been processed and I would be getting my gift within next few working days.

                                This is quiet disturbing to see that the company like Ford Figo and its dealers (Pearl Ford Jagadhri) is making false promises to attract the customers and increase their car sales just putting the brand reputation and customer commitment at stake.

                                And the most disgusting is the attitude of the company towards its prestigious customers since i have marked a number of mails to the company regarding this issue and the company has not even responded satisfactorily for just once.

                                Would request you to pls take up the matter with the company so that we can know where is the flaw along with delay in the commitment.

                                  I bought Ford Figo a year ago. Last week it suddenly broke down in the middle of the busy
                                  road. I had my servicing done one month prior to the incident at the Ford Service Center (Ganges) in Kolkata. At the time of servicing they overlooked the problem in the oil tank. Now my car has seized due to low oil pressure.
                                  The FORD SERVICE CENTER is Charging ME Rs 50000 for repairing the car, though its under the warranty period.
                                  The Service centre is fooling common man by giving false service report. The company is
                                  selling car with faulty parts and trying to make more and more money from the General Public .

                                    i bought ford figo 1.4 zxi tdci from ms. astro ford, delhi on 24th august'12 , next day i found that the car delivered to me was a damaged car & the required touch up was done so as to hide all those patches , imm.ed in contacted dealer , not got positive response, after lot of follow ups yesterday they picked up my car i.e. on 8th sept'12 with a prmoise to deliver the car same day, later on the called up to tell that they will deliver it to me on monday i.e. t'row 10th sept'12 , i requested for an alternate vehicle since i have a family function at my place , they provided me an indica car , which was in bad shape, doors not opening, headlight not working, tail lights broken, stinking badly, a.c. not working , i returned the car after having a look at it, today they promised to deliver after lot of follwups , they failed to deliver by giving cilly excuses , their dcrc manager, dgm & team leader behaved very casually , irresponsibly with no proper response & allowed me to continue with my sufferings,i demand a very strong disciplinary action against them(all 3), & a compensation against the damaged car delivered to me .
                                    looking forward for prompt action in this regard.

                                    Hi, Astro Ford, Dwarka is the worst dealer I have ever came accross. There is no value to the customer.

                                    Incident Feb'13:

                                    I noticed some rusting on both the rear doors near the window, I complained and left the vehicle for the job.

                                    I got a call from the supervisor that the work is done and I can take the delivery... I visited and saw that the paint work they did was a waste.

                                    They just put the paint on the small 4 inch rusted area instead of putting paint on full door OR ensuring that the paint should match the rest of the door paint is and looking very ugly as if this was done by some 3rd class road side painter/ company.

                                    It came to my surprise that the firstly the job was not done as per the industry standards and secondly no one inspected it before calling the customer for hand-over.

                                    On my visit, I again highlighted this bad work they acknowledged that the work is not been carried out properly and arranged to send the vehicle to body shop again. The question here is, why I was called for the delivery without inspecting the work; is this the level of customer centricity 'Ford' is looking upto. I came down from 35 Km (one side), incurred around INR 300 in fuel and tool which was a total waste...

                                    Finally, the vehicle was again sent to body shop for rework... I called up the supervisor and enquired about the vehicle. He told me that the vehicle just arrived from the body shop. I again enquired about the paint work, on which he said that it is not satisfactory as they almost haven't did anything much and in right side door the patch is less visible (but visible), but on the left door it is visible in single view. He also stated that we highlighted this issue to the General Manager (body shop) and he is saying that this is what we can do and will not do anything more about it. He further highlighted it to General Manger (Services) and he is saying that if the general manager himself saying that he will not take this vehicle for rework, then I have no say.

                                    This clearly means that no one is ready to take it up and finish the task as per the customer's satisfaction and industry standards...because it has no value to all of you... Posters talking about customer centricity, customer first...hanging on the service center, workshop and sales counters are just carrying words and actually means nothing. They were hanged to fool customers and to pull them to sell products.

                                    Now the staff is asking me to visit their body shop to have a word with Mr. Choudhary (GM, body shop)... means, incurring more time, money and this is putting mental and physical pressure on me. Why every time a customer has to face this type of pressure for the job the companies has to perform as a duty.

                                    For sure with this type of services, I will definitely not recommend Ford to any one and more over, will definitely not recommend 'Astro Ford' to any one for services...

                                      I recently did a servicing at Metro ford and found that the mechanics didnt have much of a clue on what they were doing..Below given are two incidents which gave me this impression
                                      On my first service I asked them how I can fold my ford figo rear seats flat. Mechanics started discussing among themselves and went to the extend of refitting my rear seat.. One senior guy came in and told me that Ford Figo doesnt come with rear seat folds. Only partial fold is possible.. I was shocked to realise how simple it was to do a full fold of the seat later.
                                      In the second incident, I had given it to repaint my door due to an accident.. After the work I found that one plastic piece was missing from my door.. I later found the piece in my boot.. Was really disappointed at such lack of professionalism.. I am no longer trusting these with my car.
