I was using the hathway connection for almost 18 months. I was asked to pay a advance amount for the modem; since was not happy their service i had to move to other service provoder. Now after returning the modem they are not processing with refund. Feel cheated.

Rather they are saying some cooked up stories, like you should have used the connection for a minimum of 3 years.

    It has been 5 days, and over this period we have made at least 15 calls to tech support. It’s the same pattern every time. They say everything looks good on their end, then tell us next level support will call, someone calls the following day and asks us to reboot devices. Internet comes back on, they hang up. And 15 minutes later, back to square 1. There is no permanent fix provided and on top of that, we can’t even file complaints over the hathway app because that doesn’t accept the credentials hathway themselves provided. On top of that, they have the most rude tier 2 support. I was living abroad for almost 2 decades and after coming back, it is sad to see that companies in india still have no regard for customers they’re billing or urgency to resolve issues. I really hope this pathetic service isn’t indicative of other broadband providers in india.

      I have already raised a request to discontinue my connection in october 2018. Even after multiple calls and messages and even complaining them on twitter they are still not disconnecting it. They keep calling every single day with new offers which are useless and i am currently disinterested in it. Please ask them to discontinue my services. My mobile number is [protected]

        I have recently moved to a new place. I have raised a requesy to shift my connection 10 days ago. I have got no response or anything. I then got a new connection yesterday i paid money online and they haven't installed it yet. I have been trying to call them. And they aren't responding.

            My issue is related to Hathaway router low download speed and frequently disconnecting which occur day by day.

            I make complaint through Hathaway app ...My issue is resolved but I am always facing low speed issue and sometime internet is not accessible because router not showing internet light.

            Today LOS light is blinking in red color. I make complaint issue is resolved but speed is very low 10mbs only...hence, I am unable to download or stream in YouTube.

            I experienced worst service from hathway. Low download speed is very big concern for me..and internet is disconnecting.

            Resolve this issue immediately...or take action.

            I think hathway face server problem. In the month of mid December and till today. I am facing this issue repeatedly.

              Neither i have an active account with hathway broadband nor i'm interested to opt-in in for it in any future. So please delete my account details completely and stop sending sms (Vd-hathwy) and do not call me through my mobile for any offers. My mobile number is [protected]. I'll would not hesitate to take legal action if there is no action taken on it.

                This is my account no:[protected]. I have requested the new connection on thursday[protected] and asked me to pay upfront for the connection and i have paid too. But i have not got the connection yet.

                After a continuous call to the customer care and continuous false promises made by them finally the hathway customer care, people are saying that modem is not available.
                What more funny reason yet they will give am not sure?. Being a broadband provider you say that you don't have modem.. Oo my gosh very pathetic.

                Getting money even before installation and not providing the service that is again very unprofessional.

                When i asked for the refund the customer care people i should wait for 30days do you think this is fair, is it my fault for requesting the refund.

                What kind of service you provide in the metro, cant even has enough router to provide for new connections and please don't say as india's largest broadband provider.

                After escalating the above to nodal officers of bangalore, delhi, tamilnadu, noida i have not any reply from them.

                Hathway india's largest broadband provider, please don't name it urself try to earn in on your own.

                Today[protected] when i called the customer care people now they are saying that the connection is not feasible in this area.

                So pathetic service, getting the moeny upfront and after a week saying that the connection is not feasible, its very unprofessional.

                And am done with hathway the greatest service porvider of india.

                the above mssg comes every month . why should LCO be contacted when the payment is made and valid till 8th Jan'20 .

                  I had raised a complaint regarding incorrect plan being provisioned for my account on 27-dec-2019 and the complaint number is 27122019w785346.

                  I had spoken to mr maran, senior person from chennai call center.
                  This complaint was closed yesterday without any solutions or calls being made from customer service.

                  I had made 2 payments in november 2019. The details of these payments are listed below.

                  Currently my plan has got changed to 50 mbps connection.
                  My original plan was of 150 mbps.

                  I was a customer of hathway internet about 3 months ago, but i m not using it anymore and i have discontinued the connection but they keep calling me everyday.

                    On 7th dec '19 i had called a hathway connection team and asked for a new setup wifi along with router, and i had paid money through online. On the same day evening itself i called again, told that now i don't have need of getting wifi connection. So i contact u guys whenever need i said. He said he will talk to his manager and come up. 3 weeks gone he didn't turn up, myself again called for refund status. He answered like u call this numb refund will be done in 2 weeks. After calling that customer service also its been 3 weeks still i didn't get my refund

                      I am a new customer of hathway, and faced worst possible service from hathway. I subscribed for a hathway broadband on 24th dec 2019 & paid Rs.2300/- with receipt No R[protected], Account No. -[protected]
                      The modem & cable setup was done on the next day, but connection action was a real problem for the technical team. I have made couples of call with your assigned assistant till date (7th Jan 2019) and surprisingly he sounds busy all the time. even he dont have time to take our call (assistant No. [protected]) If new connection activation takes so many days, I can not imagine the service quality Hathway provides. I decided not to continue with hathway and I decided for Refund of my money. Raised 2 tickets for the same, surprisingly those tickets are also closed without any update and action - This is the worst part of the service.
                      I understand from this - Hathway helpdesk team does not read the ticket and priority, calls the customer, reads out the description and answers "Another person will call you in 3 hours" and CLOSE THE TICKET. No words to describe the service provided and also my frustration. I am still trying to findout who can help is getting back my money.

                      Hope You will understand my issue and find out any opt solution on this.

                        Then i submitted the consumer complaint here and they got in touch with me.
                        They contacted me, assured about the disconnection and then collected the router also from my house.

                            Dear officer in-charge,

                            I had gotten a hathway internet connection installed at my residence in mumbai around december 2018. Later i did not find their services to be as per committed standards and discontinued the connection. I did request the hathway personnel several times to collect the device from my residence but instead of doing that they continuously kept calling me on a daily basis to reactivate the connection.in march 2019 i shifted from mumbai to lucknow, and even then when hathway did not stop calling me up regularly, i clearly told them that i had shifted base and that the device was left in the same apartment (The address where the connection was installed in mumbai) with the current occupant, and they could collect it from there. However, they still kept calling me up, asking me to reactivate. I would every tie tell them the same that i have relocated and your services are not even available in lucknow, so please stop harassing me. Now, today i received a threatening email with subject - avoid legal hassles - submit device urgently.
                            I regret that i ever chose hathway and am not sure how to get out of this dirty trap.
                            - hathway has been, for the past almost one year, harassing me with regular calls for reactivation.
                            - after repeatedly requesting them to remove my number from their calling list they still didn't take any action.
                            - i requested them over phone to collect the device from my mumbai residence while i was there, and then also gave the option to collect it from that address from the current occupant of the flat, but they did not take any action.
                            - now they are sending threatening emails to me to take legal action for not submitting the device

                            Is this a tactic to make money from consumers by either forcing them to continue with hathway or pay to them for the device which they themselves never came to collect.

                            Please help me get out of this dirty trap.

                                It's been months that i've disconnected hathaway account, however, even after requesting them to stop harassing me by calling 7-10 times a day and blocking every possible number i can via true caller, this nightmare doesn't seem to end. Shifted to a different consumer as the internet never worked for which i've raised complaint and prepaid for 3 months.

                                  The entire december month my broadband connection was interrupted. I called the customer care and raised complaints for almost 7 times. They say that my internet is fixed and it works for 4-5 hours and again it’s interrupted. I did not have internet access for almost the entire month and hathway did not do anything about it. Now i get atleast 10 calls a day to pay for december month which i will not do. I will not give 1 rupee and i want my account to be deactivated immediately. You can come and take the router and leave but do not expect me to pay. I want the connection to be deactivated asap and do not make any calls further for payment or this will become a serious issue and i will raise complaints wherever possible and make sure the company is under serious problem.

                                    I was a hathaway broadband subscriber till December 4, 2019 in Delhi. I terminated my connection because I left Delhi and shifted back to Assam. They took away the modem and said they've deactivated my account and removed my phone number. But till date I've been getting sms and calls every day. Please stop this harassment.

                                    I see this is a common problem for all those who have once used hathaway. Maybe it's time for the management to be more consumer friendly

                                    But instead of solving the issue, customer service centre redirected me to download fraudulent software

                                      My cable operator does not provide Peace of Mind channel from 2 months which is free to air channel instead of paying proper bills on time. And he says that this channel is not being provided to them. But he had provided this channel since 2-3 years and now he is saying like this.Please make sure that it should be provided to us as soon as possible.

                                        I have been using hathway services since year an half
                                        The day government announced for channels of your choice we have been asking our service provider to change the package..
                                        The service provider refused us saying we cannot change the package of the given to since the whole society uses the same package...
                                        Within the package there are many channels which we don’t even see we need something else for which we are asked to pay extra amount...
                                        When we filed our complaint we are threatened that the whole connection will be block in case you complain us gain...
                                        Why do we pay amount for the channels we are not even seeing and why are we not having the right to see them now when the government has made it an option for us to select channels of our choice...
                                        We need a firm step for this injustice done to us
