I have been a user of hathway for the past many years. I did a recent plan change last month. And i have a data usage limit of 220gb per month. However, i can see that my usage has reached 100gb as of today. While i am within my plan limit, i want to report that the data volume shown in the billing page is incorrect.

There are days in which it's reported that we downloaded ~20gb. And most of the days it shows that there is more than 5gb download from my account. This is impossible as our data consumption is mainly around streaming movies/series. There has been no download of any kind apart from this.
An entire 10 episode series on netflix is not more than 3gb. How can someone average 5gb everyday and even hit more than 10gb on 7 different days?
This is wrong reporting and i want you to investigate this. Attached screenshot.

On a separate note, i called hathway customer care and asked the lady who picked up to raise a complaint. I asked her to give me the complaint number for which she said i will get an sms. However, no complaint was raised and no sms was received. Literally like how mtnl/bsnl customer care used to be 15 years ago.
Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I have disconnected Hathway connection more than a month ago but still I’m getting calls again and again.

    The worst service provider ever i came across. There is frequent disconnections and the complaint we raise are hardly catered to. Infact, they have the odacity to close the raised case in 24 hrs and the worst part is that it does not matter if the issue is resolved or not, but the ticket needs to be closed. On top of that the customer service is good for nothing. I am not sure if they run out of options or they really dont have that tech advancements to resolve the issue. I will never recommend hathway isp to anyone for their sheer incompetency and lack of resources to resolve the issue permanently.

      Dear sir/madam,

      Even after recharging my hathway internet service, i am unable to get the resolution and after repeated calls to them i only heard a response that our technical team is working on it. Mr. Mayur sawant who is the floor in - charge has hanged up the call without providing any resolution.

      My complaint is against him and hathway company. Because of no internet, i had a huge client loss in 24 hours. I had scheduled 5 meeting with my clients but could not show them my work samples appropriately because of no internet service. I had recharged the internet for 3 months by making advance payment but that also could not happen because of the problem created by hathway

      Hi my name Ashish kumar .mobile num:[protected].due to poor speed and service I was removed the connection last month. from last 45 days your excutives daily 4 times calling ..informed many times please remove my connection.please remove your modem and cable please dnt call.

        Hi team, i am using gtpl broadband since 5 years and this has been the worst year for me. That too in last quarter, i have lost all my patience, have to call customer service so many times and they do no support in resolving queries.
        Recent open ticket # 3796223 opened on 3rd oct, i have been told that issue will get resolve within 24 hrs and still struggling after 48 hrs. The nodal office and apalette authority are only means of sending auto acknowledgement emails to customer. They don't even think of resolving issues. Last time my complaint was raised on 10th sep and it got resolved on 14th sep that too after so many calls and emails. There is no escalation matrix further. I emailed their md, ceo and board of directors too but no one even dare to help. On the contrary, gtpl has twitter account too god knows who handles it. I am ready to go in consumer court this time because these guys have crossed all limit.

        Need urgent help.

          I have oped for their plan on may 3rd 2019. As far connection ran well but on september month connection was totally lost. I have registered nearly 7-9 complaints on september month but my connection never started. But on nearly 25 september connection came back but on today onwards also connection lost. I need strictly actions against this fraud company. There are just looting your money. On customer service there were #. Don't go with them. Never. Save your money guys.

            I took hathway connection on 27th sep 2019 with customer id - [protected]

            My package - 1770 /- for three months

            From starting day there is no upload speed

            I created 6+ tickets from the last 7 days but no one came to resolve! Just closing the tickets!

            I tried to talk customer care 4+ times but no help came and they talked rudy.

            So i finally decided to end this connection!

              I removed my Hathway connection year ago because i moved from chennai to another city but still i am receiving calls daily from Hathway.
              i told them please remove my mobile number but they keep harassing me
              its really irritating and exhausting for me to daily inform them please stop calling me

                It’s been two days they are playing with their words by saying within 30 mins and 1 hour from the past 2 days. The manager Prabhakaran phn no. [protected] even he is not sticking to words been 2 days and now he is not even receiving the calls I wonder how such people get managerial position. Strict action should be taken.

                  I unable to browse hathway internet service internet broadband in east delhi, school block part -2, shakarpur.

                  I am facing worst experience. Less than 4 days. I complaint against hathaway internet service. Which is solve in 2 days.

                  I loss of payment because of worst connection. Very bad

                  I want excellent speed for my daily office work. I am depends on internet for my daily work.

                  Since hathway give me worst connection and speed. My plan 50mbs with unlimited data.

                  But my speed is very low and i am unable to browse.
                  I think this is scam of this type of company to looted there customer and make profit.

                  I am serious on this issue i am facing worst service in last 30 days.. Wire connection to speed of hathway broadband.

                  I never recommend this broadband to anyone.
                  Please, solve my issue immediately.
                  Otherwise hathway broadband provider give me refund.

                    Hi, I have been trying to get my money refund which paid for hatway connection.I called customer care many times and received multiple fake responses saying going to refund in 15days, 30 days. I tried again after 30 days, they asking me to reach out in headoffice. I also mailed to hatway Hyderabad help desk and same kind of behavior faced as no response.

                      I applied for Hathway broadband connection in Velachery chennai and paid the full amount a day back and they assured me to give me the connection by today morning 9:30 but there was no response upto 11 am. I then called them they didn’t receive in my first call and when they did they said they will give by afternoon and again in afternoon they said within evening. I even spoke to manager and called him atleast 15 times but he didn’t receive and still he didn’t. I further spoke to customer care twice in which they said they will provide the connection within an hour but nothing happened and again I called he said tomorrow afternoon. The same story they are repeating.

                        I am very much frustrated with the fraud going on with this gtpl fraud componey, they take money and give no service at all, first i am facing lots of issue of no network from there end since long time average every next day internet stop working and start after some hour's or next day and same happen next day i already complain about that but now i tested my internet speed and i found that my plan is 40mbps and the speed i am getting while checking on internet speed test it is lessthen 1mbps and even google open with 10 secoud delay. I mean really in india there is no provision to stop this fraud componeys gtpl they are literally cheating costumer i am wasting money extra on mobile data because of this fraud componey i need my refund or the proper connection as in six month plan i would be hardly able to use internet 2 month i need solution we are not fool sitting here please take action against them 🙏

The modem had some power issued and was not functioning for which i had complaint on saturday itself to sunil gaikwad from hathway, but seeing no relief i called the call centre and lodged the complaint which they would be solved by next day but even today 02.10.2019 no one has called to see what is happening

                          Highlights of the entire situation are:-
                          1) the nodal officer mobile no is switched off
                          Landline no, is on auto fax
                          2) call centre guys just listen to you complaint, keep you waiting and eventually hang up
                          3) sunil gaikwad is alway in some meeeting or he just switches of his phone
                          4) the complaint section on the website is not functioning

                          All in all it looks like they dont care or purposely just ignore once money is receicved

                          day 2 of the same situation

                          1) the nodal office vishal is also not answering calls
                          2) the call centre is giving false assurances
                          3) sunil gaikwad is not answering calls
                          4) no one from technical team has called me yet

                            I took a new hathway internet connection on sep 7th, 2019. According to the site, i was suppose to get 100 mbps but later they said that we cannot provide 100 mbps. Then there sales team called and told us that this 2588 is valid for 3 months. You don't have to recharge before 3 months, but now after a month they are asking for money again. And the worst part is out 30 days that we have installed since, hardly we were able to use the internet for 15 days. Rest of the days, there internet connection is down always. And when i call the customer care they are threatening us.

                              I was using thier services since 2017 but somehow from last year i discontinue thier broadband services. From then their calls starting, i told them to come and ollect thier modem i am not going to continue thier services but no pne comea and calls start more frequent from then, i am totally fed up from thier calls every time they use a different number to call. Please take some action against them or give them a rule that they not to call again and again who discontinue thier services. They are not even inactive anyones account. My account is still active.                                         From[protected], i have been complaining to gtpl for speed issue and cable improper installation issues. I registered multiple complaints to solve the issues i'm facing. They did not solve any single complaint.

                                        Instead of solving my problems, gtpl support team closed my all complain without even solving the issue.

                                        As gtpl support team failed to provide solution in 24 hours, i contacted nodal officer of ahmedabad city. As nodal officer only answers queries related to cable tv only, i called appellate authority (Chintan dudhia) on +[protected] and shared my issues. They told me that they will solve the issue but did not do anything.

                                        According to gtpl policies and regulations given by trai, company and appellate authority are legally bound to solve customer problem in max 30 days.

                                        From[protected] to[protected], it has been more than 30 days and entire company has failed to provide me any kind of solution.
