I have paid ₹500 through net banking on hathway website.
But the amount has not been added to my hathway wallet although it has been deducted from my bank account.
It has been two weeks since i am complaining to the customer care continuously but no use.
My vc number is[protected]
Now my package has expired. When i go to activate the package, it is asking me to pay again.

      I have been a faithful customer of hathway for the last few years. But for the past 6 months, i have complained multiple times with only a temporary solution. My 40mbps plans only offer at 700kbps!!! I have complained numerous time but i am tired of repeating the same process over and over again.

      I would like to disconnect my connection with you. Also, i request you to pay back the advanced amount for the remaining two months.

          I had placed a broadband connection vide account number [protected]. I want to deactivate my service as i have moved out of the city. However, whenever i keep calling hathway customer care, i get general replies that i would receive a call from the executive for deactivation, but have never till date.

          I want the disconnection to happen asap, and not be unnecessarily charged for the usage. I have disconnected my broadband and it is not in use.

          Request your efficient feedback, i can keep waiting.

            Hathway lco by the name ravindranath k b has deleted the package opted by me since i had paid for the package online using hathway app. I had an active hathway cable plan until 22 september 2019 but he deleted my package on 17th september 2019 without my consent. He has recharged the package on his own yesterday and now billing period is changed. He is asking us to pay again by cash today and is threatening to dismantle cable if i don't pay him by cash. Let me know how you will solve this issue? Why is your lco forcing us to pay by cash? I am still unable to view any channels since your local cable operator has deleted my packagehathway cable

              I have paid for 6 months plan ie is 3, 180 for hathway broadband connection and now i didn't get any refund from ur side y bcoz my amount debited and hathway ppl doesn't received my payment so when i vl get back my refund. Actually before i don't know hathway ppl said to pay through google pay and there after again i paid through debit card so what about my first payment when i vl get back and more even it's not showing n payment list for hathway ppl. Pls resoly this issue asap.

                Since 3 days internet services are completely down in bhargav tenament. Before that speed was a headache. They don't have any responsibility towards the customer.

                I have emailed almost 20 emails to the nodal officer, appliate authority and your support regarding the continuously happening issues. They just email pre-designed templates.

                Strange is that they told you that they don't have any return policy. If you ask for compensation they will say they will think of it. Don't actually know whether they are really serious about their poor services.

                Not recommended, stay away from gtpl

                  Cheating customer in the name of high speed bandwidth 150mbps. They try to attract customers and make payment, finally they create a scene of trouble shoot, finally blame the customer that laptop has problem.

                  Team like sales, billing, activation team, technical team, fs team operated by third party.

                  For example, if sales team promises something, rest of the team are not resonsible for that, sales team is cheat customer with false information.

                  Technical team will say we are not responsible for sales team promises where as they are operated by different company team, i don't think so that they are from hathway, work under same umbrella.



                  Appellate team will speak polite and ask you to pay 3 months in single shot to get the high speed router for free to get the 150mbps.

                  Knowing my pc has fe, still they will ask me to pay 3months rent to provide high speed dual strength route.

                  Appellate team will say if customer uses some chinese model mobile to connect hathway router, mobile will get 40-50 mobs only. But hathway will provide made in china router only. But they blame customer that they are using the chinese model.



                  They will close the tickets without resolving it to escape the escalation.



                  Service tickets, activation process, trouble shoot calls, downtime everything is 48 hrs. Don't believe if they say 24 hrs and best customer service in india.

                  These information provided by customer care service over calls. If you complaint on some issue they will ask you can't you wait for 48 hrs.



                  Hathway don't even have nodal officer in chennai.

                    I have booked the new hathway connection on 13th oct 2019. Installation happened on the 15th oct afternoon. And the executive /technician said it will be activated by evening 8pm or next day 10 am. But it did not happened. Called to customer care and raised the complaint. Activation happened on 16th oct evening. But even after the activation, the internet is working. Tried calling customer care and complained, the response received is will take the feedback and get it resolved. I even asked to arrange the technician for visit instead of guiding over phone. No response till now. And in the account details over phone to the customer care the data usage is showing as 3 mb. How is it possible when inter net is not working.

                      Hi. I've been a user of hathway broadband service, account no. [protected].

                      In august, i'd to shift from my previous residence to a new one. I'd applied for a shifting of my broadband connection via the customer care. On 15th august, 2019, i paid 3771 rs. As my broadband subscription fee (For four months). Hathway didn't contact me after this, and when i called their customer care, i was sorry to learn that hathway doesn't provides its service in my new area.

                      On 19th august, 2019, their engineer came to collect the modem from my old residence. He also informed me that i'll be getting a call from hathway's billing team within three days regarding the amount of subscription that will be refunded.

                      I never received any such call. Instead, i have been getting offer calls to renew my account which isn't even possible at my new address. I've reiterated this complaint seven times now via customer care, online, and twitter in the past two months.

                      Now, they are telling me that i cannot get a refund because of their stupid policy (Which nobody even bothered to inform me about in the past eight months), and that they're going to 'steal' my money since i'm not getting anything in return. This is highly unprofessional and unethical of hathway. If it can't provide me the service, it should refund me my money. I made that payment on the goodwill that hathway will be providing me the service at my new residence. 3771 rs. Is a big amount. I've only used their internet for 3-4 days, while paying a whopping four month fee!

                      Neither INGRAM (consumerhelpline.gov.in), nor CPGRAMS (pgportal.gov.in) helped. Hathway responded with the same reply they had given to me, and both portals gladly shut my complaint. What is the point of making online portals if the most they can do to help is generate a response from these companies? What is even the point of being an informed consumer?

                      My advice to everyone is to be thrifty regarding your money, because if it gets into these companies' hands, they'll throw all logic and morality away just to keep it and the government will just act as an impotent bystander.

                      Thanks for your response. consumerhelpline.gov.in couldn't help, so I wrote to pgportal.gov.in today. Let's hope that it can resolve my issue fair and square. For a service company, Hathway has a selfish, unfair and non-consumer-friendly policy. In 2019, it's not difficult to transfer/return money to someone. Hathway may be cheap, but I'll never recommend it to anyone in the future.

                        Dear Team,

                        I am new customer to HATHWAY, A/C: [protected].

                        Right from Sales, Installation, Activation, Technical Support till Customer Service. Everything is pathetic.

                        No Proper Information and Response from customer service.

                        Once a/c is activated, in same call i had informed to technical person about the speed issue. He told me that he had raised ticket to technical team to look into speed issue on 10Oct.

                        i waited till 14Oct Monday, Monday Morning and Evening called and followed up to customer service.

                        On Monday, Issue has been diagnosed by Mr. Vasanth, L2 Engineer. He accepted the problem in hathway and promised that hathway will replace the Double strength router with no cost. He informed me that he had escalated this issue and told me not raise any tickets.

                        I waited till tuesday, On tuesday evening i called to customer care, there is no information on a/c. i explained everything once again, asked customer service person to make a note on everything. He noted too. I asked him to send technical person to home for replacing high speed router. He said he will send.

                        I waited till wednesday, Early morning on Wednesday i called for follow up. Customer service confirmed that the will send by 10 am Wednesday. I waited till 2pm, i called around 2-3pm. Till that no response from hathway.

                        I called for followup, my call has been transferred to senior member and later floor in-charge. I dono whether this is true or drama.

                        Floor incharge Karthick promised me that he will call me and update with in 30mins to 1 hr to resolve the issue. Now time is 11pm. TIll now no calls from hathway,

                        No Proper Speed,
                        No Proper Customer service,
                        Fake sales information,
                        No proper technical support,
                        No proper help desk and mail response.
                        Cheating customer with fake information.

                        Finally, When will you replace double strength router in home.

                        Every day you guys saying that we will send technical person, its around 6 days now. till now no technical person replaced the router and resolved the issue.

                        You have a such a worst customer care service.

                        As per the conversation with Mr.Vasanth, L2 Engineer, I would like escalate an issue on Bandwidth Speed.

                        My A/C Number : [protected], I have opted for the 150mbps, 1000 gb plan. But at present i have in and around 50 - 80 mbps speed.

                        Kindly replace my single strength router to double strength router.

Now I am writing this complaint at 9:00 PM[protected], after complaining 7 times to customer care that installation not completed. On the final call to Hathway, the customer care employee told I haven't completed yet even after 6 times a complaint completed already.

                            I am facing worst internet service from hathway broadband. Yesterday (16/10/2019) time: 9:59pm. I fill service request from hathway app for router not showing internet light and i am unable to browse and internet is frequently disconnecting.

                            I face this issue regularly in last 7 days.. Internet speed is also cutting down without intimation.

                            Service request i filled.. There is no proper action taken now... Today (17/10/19) in the evening i faced same issue. No internet.

                            I am freelancer and i am depends on broadband connection. I am facing huge loss.

                            I want take proper action immediately. If hathway team not solve this issue yet immediately. Or facing this issue in future then i sue in the court.

                            No customer satisfaction.. Zero unprofessional employee of hathway.

                            Issue is resolved now... But please don't this in future. I used your service last 2 years.. but this time you can't make it.

                            I am facing same issue again and again.. after 1 or 2 days Hathway company do this again with me.

                            This company making me fool 😤 I got download speed with LAN less than 1mbs .. I am unable to open webpages.

                            Just give me refund all you looted me.

                            In t.v we cannot see the channels because the channels show the technical problem we are suffering these problem from last two days. We are request to you do the solution for these problem fast

                              This Company has first demeaned by sending a legal notice without sending a prior email about a useless modem. Secondly their sales guy never mentioned that the modem had to be returned. This is deception. I have used a prepaid connection and left the flat in April 2018. Now after these many months they have sent an email now asking me to return the modem. Why didnt they email me in the first place?
                              Your pathetic sales guy never mentioned anything about IPC sections or that I have to return the router if I am not using it. which is less than zero value for me and is probably scrapped somewhere. All I recall is he was in a hurry to set up a connection and secure a customer.
                              All i feel like is i have been stabbed in the back for opting for their connection. I have tried to reach the hyderabad office but none of them picks up.

                              i got the msg with the legal notice threat too. During deactivation of my account last year no body from customer care said anything regarding modem. Now suddenly after 1 year they are demanding modem.

                                Very poor support. They called me to recharge for an offer 3+1 month. The extra 1 month is not added till date. Very unsatisfied support. When i call the customercare they were asking for support person name & number they called. How do we predict this issue ahead?

                                Should we record each & every cc calls? Then where is the trust between co's & customers? Whenever i recharge i had call them every time to provide what they promised. Please note this

                                I got call from hathway internet lady she has offer me to resume your connection with today offer is there for 1 month 425/-, so i accepted the offer for one month. then she has sent UPI link
                                and i paid 425/- few days back, till now i did not get any re-installation call from Hathway internet.
                                and today i got a call from another mob no hathway lady again offer to me (resume your account today you have offer for one month 380/-) what is this Sir/Madams? is it fake or what?

                                  Hathway is harassing me with 5 to 6 calls a day even though i told them to cut the connection and takeback their modem nearly 100 times, i am getting calls when i am in an important situations disturbing my work, they are harassing me like hell, i am telling them to cut the connection but noone listens, they keep on calling. They are wantedly doing to harass customers, i think they are selling number to someother firms to do this harassment work, how can they do this without my permission, its a breach in right to privacy

                                    After months i don't no who is using the connection but bill is generating for me... Bit crazy service..

                                      My customer code is [protected]. My internet has been down for 7 days now because of modem damage during lightning. I have raised a ticket immediately and 2 days after raising the ticket i got a message that my modem would be replaced in next couple of days. But even after the promised date, there was no response from hathway team. Then i had to send couple of mails to hydhelpdesk to get their attention. Then finally a guy from hathway called (6 days after i raised the ticket) when i was not at home. Then he said he would come next day morning but he didn't turn up. I tried to reach him multiple times after that but he didn't pick up my calls. I'm still waiting for the issue to get resolved.

                                      Overall this has been a very frustrating experience and i hope no customer has to go through such poor treatment. It looks like hathway folks are very punctual when they collect the payment but not so much when responding to customer problems.

                                      This got resolved finally when I had to personally visit Hathway office and fetch the Modem. I sincerely hope that customer service would improve in the future.
