Reason of complaint against gtpl:

From[protected], i have been complaining to gtpl for speed issue and cable improper installation issues. I registered multiple complaints to solve the issues i'm facing. They did not solve any single complaint.

Instead of solving my problems, gtpl support team closed my all complain without even solving the issue.

As gtpl support team failed to provide solution in 24 hours, i contacted nodal officer of ahmedabad city. As nodal officer only answers queries related to cable tv only, i called appellate authority (Chintan dudhia) on +[protected] and shared my issues. They told me that they will solve the issue but did not do anything.

According to gtpl policies and regulations given by trai, company and appellate authority are legally bound to solve customer problem in max 30 days.

From[protected] to[protected], it has been more than 30 days and entire company has failed to provide me any kind of solution.

    I have paid for the hybrid 3 months plan and they have provided only service for the broadband and its been almost 4 months there is no cable service at all. I did tried to call my operator, manager and bangalore nodal officers but initial few calls they picked and said will resolve after that no one is picking it up and when i'm calling the numbers are switch off.
    Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    I'm receiving unwanted calls each hour from new numbers. i have disconnected broadband, settled the amount and returned the modem also. please help me get out of this hell.

      My internet was down for past three month and i was told that i will get an extension for this inconvenience.

      They did not provide extension but hathway billing department call me daily basis and ask for renewal and gave me mental harassment since last one month.

      My internet is totally stop during 9 february 2019 to 17 april 2019. I also attach screenshot my internet usage during that period.

        I have been calling hathway since 4days. Our internet connection was lost and the customer exectives when called are answering that the problem will be solved asap. Is 4 days asap for u?? I have paid my subscription fee till feb 2020. This irresponsibity towards customers is really not good on your part. Having many customers around hyd is this the way you respond? Do you think customers are fools?? I want a solution for this. Customer care is the only way we can complain though they arent taking any action. Also adding though the complaint wasnt resolved it is marked so, and created a new one

          I am receiving messages from hathway daily to pay amount and get promotional gb of data. I have closed my account in the year 2016 and suddenly i am receiving messages now on broadband. This is so annoying. I have reached out to hath way support on email and even twitter, still i'm receiving a lot of emails and sms.
          Its been 3 years since i used hathway account.
          Kindly stop sending messages to my personal number and email.

            I am using hathway broadband service in east delhi (Shakarpur, school block part-2).

            I renew my plan on 27th september 2019. Since 29th september morning before 6:30pm my modem show red light los connection.. I unable to use internet. I complaint hathway customer care for this issue and talk with them. They said today is sunday we don't have much technical employees available. And today is 30th september 2019.

            I make complaint more and more... Red light los connection is resolved since 12:30 pm on 30th september 2019. But i can't use internet service... Because in hathway modem internet light is not blinking... I call customer once again to resolve this issue... They said to me we have facing server down.. Please, call us 1 hour.

            I call customer service again... But they unable to resolve this issue.. They said we resolve this issue today before 6pm.

            This is scam.. To looted customer. I am facing bad service and worst customer satisfaction.

            Please help me, i will sue hathway in court.
            Because i renewed my plan to service was good.. But that's horrible.

              This my account no [protected], i am not going to renew hathway broadband because of shift of my address to punjab...

              From past 2 years i am getting tortured from hathway telecallers inspite i am addressing them on shifting of accommodation. I have told so many hathway telecallers along emails to hathways management / customer care officials that i have shifted to punjab and your service are not available in my city there but they won't care and very carelessly attacking with there calls and sms with offers with no use to me...

              I have a family and they keep attack calls anytime they feel ok.

              When i ask them strictly they cuff off phone but then call again after some time. Seems its is happening intentionally.

              How can i avail their services in punjab??? They dont have services in my city. But still they call every second day and start vomiting their useless offers forcefully.. They seem not even 10th pass and talk like absolute # with no sense of marketing disconnecting phone frequently and then calling again.

              Management should knows why this way their old customers are tortured this way.??

              I have no grudges with anyone but why this torture with no reason even they accepted they dont have services in my city and say sorry. But then call again..

              I am ready to compensate with some money to hathway management to leave us or what ever it takes..

              Somebody pls help us on this most top urgent matter.. Pls delete our account and our phone number from your list...

              I have a 50 Mb/s internet connection . There is very inconsistent internet connection since past couple of months . I am getting very high packet loss almost 20%-30% on average . And my upstream light is always blinking because of which i am getting very low uploading speed

                I am in vasna ahmedababad new jivraj hospital. Internet is not working from 5 days. I called gtpl 15 times and have lodged complain but they are not fixing it and giving no information. Each time i call they said wait.

                I was promised 40 mbps and i paid for that but not even 9 mbps was coming when internet was working and now its not working from 5 days with no action

                I am working from home so i had to take other internet and they are not ready to cancel also. I have already paid for 6 month so this feels like cheating that they just don't want to fix because they already know there is no process of cancellation and refund.

                  I have raised a complaint that my internet is not working, it's been 48 hours my issue is not resolved.                         Problem with gtpl broadband.

                        I am facing issue in internet constantly, everyday internet is getting stop and after i call the costumer care they take complain and ask time for 24 hours. Some time it take some 6, 7 or more then 24 hours to get back the internet access but very next day or same day again internet stop working. It is happening everyday if i count my plan as if i am using 6 month plan then i am only able to use internet for 3 month. The costumer support is worst they don't have resolution. They only present one dilouge wait for 24 hours and the same thing happening everyday. We costumers are not fool. I have have not got connection to call everyday and complain i need constant internet access. Either they provide me assurity or i need my full refund i am feddup with gtpl internet. These guyes are fooling the costumers they don't have the ability to provide good internet at all.

                          A/c no. [protected]. We dont want hathway to send unwanted promotional messages. We have stopped using services of hathway since last 5 years, till now they have been sending this messages. The do not have a email address to register this complaints. I had thereby sent a mail to their accounts team, this dumb team could not understand my reason for writing this mail, instead they asked me to show the previous bill.

                          I request hathway to stop sending this unwanted messages or i shall be forced to escalate the matter to the concerned authority

                              I have moved to a new city,
                              I am getting calls from hathway everyday, from different mobile numbers, somedays i pick i have explained then, requested them, begged them to stop calling. But it continuous.

                                I got my hathaway broadband connection 6days ago. I paid for 200mbps connection but i got only 5 to 10 mbps after 15mins of activation i registered a complaint saying i'm not getting any speed since then my complaint is not resolved after 3days i raised a request for refund and after 4days they closed it. When i called them they said they won't refund my money and i can do whatever i want.

                                  I have paid the prepaid bill for one year to hathway broadband connection, after 6 months we shifted to a new location. For that location, they are unable to provide the service. If they are unable to provide the service they should give a refund for the months we lost the subscription.

                                  As they are unable to give a connection and also refund the moment i asked them a refund of my money they replied, the refund cannot be processed.

                                  I will attach the screenshots of the mail they replied to me. Please consider and help me get my money back

                                    Have opted for local connection in pune-chinchwad-sambhajinagar, hatway executive mr. Sachin () have created my account after paying the requested amount there after, he had stopped picking up my phone and responding back. After reaching out to another hathway executive, i came to know that hatway cant provide me connection, it was a month and so after the account was created. I have opted for account of closure and refund of money back, until today they are not responding or giving me any details on refund.

                                      Iske next month august mn tisari bar recharge krwaya aur mujhe apke ynha se yhi aswashan mila ki abki bar koi problem nhi ayegi... Finally result same koi proper solution nhi hua
                                      Main 3 month mein, sirf 15-20 din thik se connection rha hoga.
                                      Isliye is bar mn recharge nhi kraya aur sir mjhe na koi apki service chahiye... Mjhe jo bhi refund ki amt bnti hai wo refund kr dijiye

                                        I got email related to legal action from hathway. I left hyderabad in march'18 and one of my friend was staying in the same room. Once hathway internet account expired i received call from hathway cce regarding account activation but i told them that i left hyderabad and to send representative to collect the modem but they were never interested in collecting device. Daily i used to receive 2-3 message regarding account activation and still receiving despite of requesting them for removal of my number from their database because i won't be using hathway broadband. Still i am receiving call related to account activation once or twice in a week. Now, from last one month they are sending email regarding legal action and asking for rs. 2500/- i am little worried and confused.

                                        Dear sir/madam,

                                        This has reference to the customer registration form (Crf) signed by you and hathway cable & datacom ltd. (Company) for availing the broadband services from our network to your premises as per the terms and conditions mentioned in the crf.

                                        You are aware that the crf is a valid and binding contract and recognized by both parties to hold legal sanctity with all consequential mutual rights and obligations inter se.

                                        In this respect, we draw your attention to the paragraph l – customer declaration which is reproduced as under:

                                        “i also understand that the modem and router supplied by the company is owned by the company and i shall be liable to return it in good and working condition upon termination of network or as and when sought by the company.in case of failure to return the modem or router of if it is return in nonworking condition, i am liable to pay the applicable amount of modem/router to the company in lieu of such damaged/unreturned router/modem under my possession. ”

                                        However, to our utmost concern we find that our records reflect that the following items / property are not returned by you despite discontinuation of your broadband services.

                                        Modem / router /camera

                                        By withholding the possession of the aforesaid assets of the company, you have exposed yourself to the legal provisions under the indian penal code, 1860, as amended, related to section 406 - criminal breach of trust, section 403 - misappropriation of property and other relevant provisions including section 420 read with criminal procedure code, 1973, as amended, entailing dire legal consequences including imprisonment.

                                        You are therefore called upon to immediately handover the above listed items to our authorised representative under acknowledgement of receipt of the same.

                                        Should you fail to comply with the aforesaid long pending formality within 15 days from date of receipt of this notice, we shall be constrained to explore legal remedies to safeguard our interest at your risk as to costs and consequences thereof.
